This book constitutes selected and revised papers from the 7th International Conference Logistics and Supply Chain Management, held in December 2020 in Tehran, Iran. The workshop was sponsored by the Korea Institute of Information Security and Cryptology (KIISC), the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI) and the Ministry of Information and Communication (MIC). WISAaimsatprovidingaforumforprofessionalsfromacademiaandindustry to present their work and to exchange ideas. The workshop covers all technical aspects of security applications, including cryptographic and non-cryptographic techniques. We were very pleased and honored to serve as the Program Committee Co-chairs of WISA 2007. The Program Committee received 95 papers from 20 countries, and accepted 27 papers for the full presentation track. The papers were selected after an extensive and careful refereeing process in which each paper was reviewed by at least three members of the Program Committee. In addition to the contributed papers, the workshop had three special talks. Moti Yung gave a tutorial talk, entitled “Somebody You Know: The Fourth Factor of Authentication.” Kihong Park and Nasir Memon gave invited talks, entitled “Reactive Zero-Day Attack Protection” and “Securing Biometric T- plates,” respectively. Many people deserve our gratitude for their generous contributions to the success of the workshop. We would like to thank all the people involved in the technical program and in organizing the workshop. This is the joint post-proceedings of the 6th International Symposium on High Performance Computing (ISHPC-VI) and the First International Workshop on Advanced Low Power Systems 2006 (ALPS2006). The post-proceedings also contain the papers presented at the Second HPF International Workshop: - periences and Progress (HiWEP2005) and the Workshop on Applications for PetaFLOPS Computing (APC2005), which are workshops of ISHPC-VI. ISHPC-VI, HiWEP2005 and APC2005 were held in Nara, Japan during September 7–9, 2005. Fifty-eight papers from 11 countries were submitted to ISHPC-VI. After the reviews of the submitted papers, the ISHPC-VI Program Committee selected 15 regular (12-page) papers for oral presentation. In ad- tion, several other papers with favorable reviews were recommended for poster presentation, and 14 short (8-page) papers were also selected. Twenty-eight papers out of 29 ISHPC-VI papers are contained in the post-proceedings. Hi- WEP2005 and APC2005 received eight and ten submissions, with six and eight papers being accepted for oral presentation after reviews, respectively. All the HiWEP2005 and APC2005 papers are included in the post-proceedings. ALPS2006 was held in Cairns, Australia on July 1, 2006 in conjunction with the ACM 20th International Conference on Supercomputing. The number of submitted papers was 15, and eight papers were accepted for oral presentation. The post-proceedings contain six of the eight papers.

This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed post-workshop proceedings of the 13th International Workshop on Job Scheduling Strategies for Parallel Processing, JSSPP 2007, held in Seattle, WA, USA, in June 2007, in conjunction with the 21st ACM International Conference on Supercomputing, ICS 2007. The 10 revised full research papers presented went through the process of strict reviewing and subsequent improvement. The papers cover all current issues of job scheduling strategies for parallel processing from the supercomputer-centric viewpoint but also address many nontraditional high-performance computing and parallel environments that cannot or need not access a traditional supercomputer, such as grids, Web services, and commodity parallel computers. The papers are organized in topical sections on performance and tools, queueing systems, as well as grid and heterogeneous architectures.

This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 20th International Conference on Integrated Circuit and System Design, PATMOS 2010, held in Grenoble, France, in September 2010. The 24 revised full papers presented and the 9 extended abstracts were carefully reviewed and are organized in topical sections on design flows; circuit techniques; low power circuits; self-timed circuits; process variation; high-level modeling of poweraware heterogeneous designs in SystemC-AMS; and minalogic.

This book constitutes thoroughly refereed post-conference proceedings of the workshops of the 16th International Conference on Parallel Computing, Euro-Par 2010, held in Ischia, Italy, in August/September 2010. The papers of these 9 workshops HeteroPar, HPCC, HiBB, CoreGrid, UCHPC, HPCF, PROPER, CCPI, and VHPC focus on promotion and advancement of all aspects of parallel and distributed computing.

This book constitutes the reviewed proceedings of the 5th International Workshop on Algorithmic Aspects of Wireless Sensor Networks, ALGOSENSORS 2009, held in Rhodes, Greece, July 10-11, 2009. The 21 full papers and two brief announcements were carefully selected from 41 submissions. This workshops aimed at bringing together research contributions related to diverse algorithmic and complexity-theoretic aspects of wireless sensor networks. The topics include but are not limited to optimization problems, noise and probability, robots and tours.

This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 7th International Workshop on Information Security Applications, WISA 2006, held in Jeju Island, Korea in August 2006. Coverage in the 30 revised full papers includes public key crypto applications and virus protection, cyber indication and intrusion detection, biometrics and security trust management, secure software and systems, smart cards and secure hardware, and mobile security.

This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed post-proceedings of the 12th International Workshop on Job Scheduling Strategies for Parallel Processing, JSSPP 2006, held in Saint-Malo, France in June 2006 in conjunction with the Joint International Conference on Measurement and Modeling of Computer Systems SIGMETRICS/Performance 2006. The 12 revised full research papers cover all current issues of job scheduling strategies for parallel processing.

The Fifth International Conference on Implementation and Application of - tomata (CIAA 2000) was held at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, Canada on July 24-25, 2000. This conference series was formerly called the International Workshop on Implementing Automata (WIA) This volume of the Lecture Notes in Computer Science series contains all the papers that were presented at CIAA 2000, and also the abstracts of the poster papers that were displayed during the conference. The conference addressed issues in automata application and implemen- tion. The topics of the papers presented at this conference ranged from automata applications in software engineering, natural language and speech recognition, and image processing, to new representations and algorithms for e cient imp- mentation of automata and related structures. Automata theory is one of the oldest areas in computer science. Research in automata theory has always been motivated by its applications since its early stages of development. In the 1960s and 1970s, automata research was moti- ted heavily by problems arising from compiler construction, circuit design, string matching, etc. In recent years, many new applications have been found in various areas of computer science as well as in other disciplines. Examples of the new applications include statecharts in object-oriented modeling, nite transducers in natural language processing, and nondeterministic nite-state models in c- munication protocols. Many of the new applications do not and cannot simply apply the existing models and algorithms in automata theory to their problems.

The 5th edition of the VECPAR series of conferences marked a change of the conference title. The full conference title now reads VECPAR 2002 — 5th Int- national Conference on High Performance Computing for Computational S- ence. This re?ects more accurately what has been the main emphasis of the conference since its early days in 1993 – the use of computers for solving pr- lems in science and engineering. The present postconference book includes the best papers and invited talks presented during the three days of the conference, held at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (Portugal), June 26–28 2002. The book is organized into 8 chapters, which as a whole appeal to a wide research community, from those involved in the engineering applications to those interested in the actual details of the hardware or software implementation, in line with what, in these days, tends to be considered as Computational Science and Engineering (CSE). The book comprises a total of 49 papers, with a prominent position reserved for the four invited talks and the two?rst prizes of the best student paper competition.

Ad hoc networks, which include a variety of autonomous networks for specific purposes, promise a broad range of civilian, commercial, and military applications. These networks were originally envisioned as collections of autonomous mobile or stationary nodes that dynamically auto-configure themselves into a wireless network without relying on any existing network infrastructure or centralized administration. With the significant advances in the last decade, the concept of ad hoc networks now covers an even broader scope, referring to the many types of autonomous wireless networks designed and deployed for a specific task or function, such as wireless sensor networks, vehicular networks, home networks, and so on. In contrast to the traditional wireless networking paradigm, such networks are all characterized by sporadic connections, highly error-prone communications, distributed autonomous operation, and fragile multi-hop relay paths. The new wireless networking paradigm necessitates reexamination of many established concepts and protocols, and calls for developing a new understanding of fundamental problems such as interference, mobility, connectivity, capacity, and security, among others. While it is essential to advance theoretical research on fundamental and practical research on efficient policies, algorithms and protocols, it is also critical to develop useful applications, experimental prototypes, and real-world deployments to achieve an immediate impact on society for the success of this wireless networking paradigm.
