The PEERS program proposes international exchanges adapted to the context of teacher training institutions wishing to take advantage of internationalization in order to link training, research, and practice. PEERS is based on the completion of Research and Innovation (R&I) projects during the academic year, during which international groups of professors and students from teacher training partner institutions collaborate remotely as well as during two placements of one week. For the students, the PEERS program aims to develop competencies in distance collaboration with the help of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), the management of intercultural groups, and the continuous improvement of their activities through reflective thinking and the spirit of research. For the professors the PEERS program aims to better link research and training, to reinforce their skills in the management of international research projects and to foster opportunities for international publications. The aim of this collective book is to give an overview of the Issues, case studies and perspectives of the PEERS program. The first section entitled'Issues, Opportunities, and Challenges for the Internationalization of Teacher Training in a Globalized, Multicultural, and Connected World', focuses on the foundations and general features of PEERS projects, as well as the context of globalization in the intercultural and connected world in which it is situated. The second section,'Case Studies and Lessons Learned from the PEERS Project in Southern Countries'constitutes a series of chapters presenting case studies on PEERS projects focused on innovation and cooperation in the developing world. The third section,'Results of Research-Oriented PEERS Projects,'considers the results from PEERS projects that have enabled the implementation of theoretical and practical educational research, generally taking the form of small-case research studies or innovations in the design of teaching units. Finally, in the conclusion we propose to present the key points of the three sections that make up this book'Linking Research and Training in Internationalization of Teacher Education with the PEERS Program: Issues, Case Studies and Perspectives'.

De effectieve projectgroep - Wegwijzer voor studenten

Viele Eltern stehen dem Umgang ‘Neuer Medien'im Unterricht skeptisch gegenüber. Zu viel haben sie von Hackern, Viren, Datenklau und Spionage gehört. Doch der Einsatz von neuen bzw. digitalen Medien im Unterricht ist heute wichtiger denn je. Die meisten Jugendlichen besitzen bereits im Grundschulalter einen Computer oder haben Zugriff zum Internet. Der Zugriff erfolgt jedoch meist auf eine unreflektierte Art und Weise. Mit Hilfe eines WebQuests kann genau diesem Problem entgegengearbeitet werden und Schülerinnen und Schüler der reflektierte Umgang mit dem Computer und insbesondere mit dem Internet nähergebracht werden. Gerade der Musikunterricht bietet viele Möglichkeiten für den Einsatz von WebQuests, ohne dass dabei der fachliche Inhalt auf der Strecke bleibt. Lernende, wie Lehrende profitieren gleichermaßen von dieser ‘neuen'Unterrichtsmethode wodurch das Klassenzimmer zur interaktiven Lernumgebung wird. Auf folgende Fragen soll in dieser Arbeit eine Antwort gegeben werden: Wie findet aktuell (Musik-) Unterricht in der ‘digitalen Welt'statt? Wie hat das digitale Zeitalter Musikunterricht verändert und welche Rolle spielt hierbei der WebQuest? Was ist ein WebQuest und wie ist er aufgebaut? Wie könnte ein WebQuest im Musikunterricht konkret aussehen – ein Praxisbeispiel.

Im Zuge der Reformbestrebungen hinsichtlich des Österreichischen Mittelstufenschulsystems wurden im Schuljahr 2009/2010 erstmals Schulen nach dem Modell `Niederösterreichische Mittelschule´ geführt. Dieses Modell sieht vor, dass Lehrer gemeinsam unterrichten. Die vorliegende Untersuchung zeigt, wie die betroffenen Lehrer im ersten Jahr der Niederösterreichischen Mittelschule, die in dieser für sie meist neuartigen und herausfordernden Teamsituation, entstandene Konflikte austragen. Dazu wurden mit zehn betroffenen Lehrern fokussiert narrative Interviews geführt und im Sinne der Qualitativen Inhaltsanalyse nach Mayring zusammenfassend analysiert.

Schülerfirmen gehören zur Unterrichtsform Projektunterricht und sind berufs- und wirtschaftsorientiert. Der pädagogische Gedanke hinter dieser Methode ist die Vorbereitung auf den späteren Berufsalltag, um dadurch den Übergang zwischen Schule und Beruf zu erleichtern. Außerdem erlernen die Schüler Schlüsselqualifikationen für den späteren Beruf und den Alltag. Auch in „Schulen mit dem Förderschwerpunkt ganzheitliche Entwicklung“, die im Mittelpunkt der vorliegenden Untersuchung stehen, kommt diese Art von Projektunterricht zur Anwendung. Die Autorin liefert zunächst eine Zusammenfassung von Schülerfirmen im Allgemeinen, da es bislang nur wenige Publikationen zum Thema der Schülerfirmen in der SFG gibt. Angesprochen werden dabei Thematiken zur Gründung und rechtliche Hintergründe. Im Folgenden werden spezifischere Aspekte geklärt, wie Aktivitätsbereiche des Lehrplans, die von Schülerfirmen abgedeckt werden. Es folgt der praktische Teil, der sich mit den Erfahrungen der „Schulen mit dem Förderschwerpunkt ganzheitliche Entwicklung“ aus Rheinland-Pfalz mit Schülerfirmen befasst und die Auswertung von Fragebögen beinhaltet. Collaborative learning is well recognised as a pedagogical practice that promotes socialisation and learning among students from kindergarten to the university level and beyond. Children, adolescents, and adults learn from each other in a vast array of formal and informal settings in schools and the wider community. „Manege frei!“, so schallt es alljährlich aus dem Munde des Zirkusdirektors, in einem rot-weißen Zelt in dem grünen Park gegenüber der freien Waldorfschule Würzburg. Seit 1993 besucht der Zirkus Knirps die Schüler der Waldorf Schule und ermöglicht ihnen ein Zirkuserlebnis der besonderen Art. Es ist nicht nur ein kurzweiliges Zirkus-Spielen, sondern ein Zirkus-Machen und Zirkus-Leben. Schon im Herbst beginnen die ersten Schnuppertage, in denen sich die Schüler mit den verschiedensten Bereichen künstlerischer Darbietung im Zirkus beschäftigen, um sich die für sie interessantesten auszusuchen. Wöchentlich üben die Schüler in den darauffolgenden Monaten in der Schulturnhalle und vertiefen ihre Fähigkeiten und Fertigkeiten in den vielfältigen zirzensischen Künsten. In den Osterferien ist es dann soweit: Der Zirkus kommt. Zusammen mit Helfern bauen die Schüler das Zirkuszelt auf, die Sitztribünen werden positioniert, die Hobelspäne in die Manege eingestreut und der rote Vorhang wird aufgehängt. Sogar ein Vorzelt für den Pausenverkauf wird aufgebaut und zahlreiche Zirkuswägen, in denen geschminkt wird, wo Requisiten verstaut sind und in denen sich die kleinen Artisten umkleiden können, werden um das Zirkuszelt aufgestellt. Die nun folgende Woche des Intensivtrainings inklusive General- und Hauptprobe und der drei abschließenden Wochenendvorstellungen vermitteln jedem einzelnen Teilnehmer das Gefühl, ein Teil des Zirkus zu sein und das zirzensische Leben erfahren zu dürfen. Die Entwicklung und Stärkung der Gemeinschaft im Zirkus wird in der vorliegenden Studie zum theoretischen Bezugsrahmen. Das Ziel liegt in der empirischen Erforschung der sozialen Gemeinschaft in Hinblick auf die gruppendynamischen Veränderungen, die sich durch das Zirkusprojekt auf dem Zirkus-Luna-Hof an der teilnehmenden Schülergruppe beobachten lassen. Das Buch gliedert sich somit in folgende Teile: 1. Theoretischer Hintergrund zur Zirkuspädagogik (Kapitel 2) 2. Theoretischer Hintergrund zum soziologischen Thema der Gruppendynamik (Kapitel 3) 3. Durchführung des einwöchigen Zirkusprojektes (Kapitel 4) 4. Auswirkung eines Zirkusprojektes auf die Gruppendynamik (Kapitel 5) Die Punkte drei und vier orientieren sich an dem konkreten Praxisbeispiel eines einwöchigen zirkuspädagogischen Schulprojekts zweier Schulklassen einer Grundschule auf dem Zirkus-Luna-Hof. Im Zuge von Teil drei wird zum einen auf die Rahmenbedingungen des besagten Zirkusprojekts eingegangen und zum anderen das Projekt in seiner Struktur beschrieben. Punkt vier befasst sich, unter Berücksichtigung des im dritten Teil geschaffenen theoretischen Hintergrunds, mit der konkreten Erforschung der Gruppendynamik der am Projekt teilnehmenden Gruppe. Hierbei bedient sich das Buch der Ergebnisse der soziometrischen Studie, die ihre Rohdaten aus einer Erhebung vor und einer Erhebung nach dem Zirkusprojekt zieht.

Das Buch beschäftigt sich mit der Lernmotivation von Schülern in verschiedenen Unterrichtskonzepten. Es soll geklärt werden, ob die Gruppenarbeit an Stationen als autonomes Unterrichtskonzept zu einer höheren Lernmotivation führt und ob sich diese Unterrichtsform positiv auf die kooperative Zusammenarbeit mit den Mitschülern und die Lernqualität beziehungsweise den Wissenszuwachs auswirkt. Dazu werden zwei Unterrichtsformen gegenübergestellt. Einerseits wird das Verhalten der Schüler im Frontalunterricht untersucht; andererseits wird überprüft, welche Auswirkungen die Gruppenarbeit an Stationen auf die oben genannten Items hat. Die Studie zielt darauf ab, die Gruppenarbeit an Stationen mehr in den Unterricht zu integrieren, da diese Sozialform des Unterrichts ein selbstständigeres Lernen fördert. Es soll bewiesen werden, dass das selbstständige Lernen zu einer höheren intrinsischen Lernmotivation führt, was sich wiederum positiv auf den Lernzuwachs und das kooperative Verhalten auswirkt. Die Schüler arbeiten autonom und entwickeln so ein höheres Interesse an dem Lerngegenstand. Ein größeres Interesse wiederum führt zu mehr Motivation, sich mit dem Sachverhalt auseinanderzusetzen. Um das besagte Ziel zu erreichen, wird zunächst der theoretische Hintergrund geschildert. Hier sollen die Begrifflichkeiten, wie zum Beispiel die Lernmotivation, erklärt und analysiert werden. Basierend auf der Selbstbestimmungstheorie von Deci & Ryan werden unter anderem die Unterschiede und Gemeinsamkeiten von intrinsischer und extrinsischer Motivation untersucht, da diese im direkten Zusammenhang mit der Lernmotivation und der Lernqualität stehen. Im Weiteren wird auf den Wandel vom Frontalunterricht zu alternativen Lehrmethoden eingegangen. In diesem Punkt werden auch die Vor- und Nachteile der beiden Unterrichtskonzepte gegenübergestellt. Nach der theoretischen Einführung folgt die Beschreibung und Auswertung der eigentlichen Studie. In der Studie werden 52 Items überprüft. Diese messen sowohl die Lernmotivation als auch das kooperative Verhalten der Schüler. Um den Lernzuwachs zu überprüfen, wird ein eigen konzipierter Wissenstest ausgewertet. Die anschließende Diskussion soll etwaige unerwartete Ergebnisse erklären oder bereits erwartete Ergebnisse bekräftigen.

A permanent issue in compulsory education is how to promote students'active working in the classroom. Even if group work is used as one type of working method in compulsory education as a means for committed learning and for social development, there seems to be a trend towards less time spent on collaboration tasks in favour of individual assignments in the classroom.
