Our case was unique in that the tumor was located in the spinal marrow of a patient with congenital lumbosacral malformations and a postpoliomyelitis paralytic limb. For these, gross total tumor resections rather than subtotal resection were reported to have favorable clinical outcomes in terms of time free of disease.[2] In our case, the tumor in the spinal marrow underwent total resection, and the patient remained free of disease at our last follow-up.
