Abstract

The article discusses the 2013 Defence White Paper which provides information on the Australia's strategies for maintaining a capable Australian Defence Force (ADF). It informs that the White Paper doesn't discuss the less participation of local industries of Australia in manufacturing defence related products. It states that sustainment is not enough to develop experts in engineering and math's which has been recognized as a necessity by the Australian government for its defence capability.
