Three novel bibenzyl derivatives, blestritins A–C (1–3), along with 18 known constituents, were isolated from the tubers of Bletilla striata (Orchidaceae), a traditional Chinese medicine used for the treatment of tuberculosis and haemorrhage of the stomach and lungs. Phytochemical investigation of the whole plants of Gerbera delavayi (Compositae) led to the isolation and identification of 15 compounds, including the new monoterpene-coumarin and the new monoterpene-chromone . Four new coumarins, 1-4, and two new triterpenes, 5 and 6, along with nine known compounds have been identified from the leaves of Calophyllum inophyllum on the basis of spectroscopic analyses and chemical methods.
