The purpose of this paper is to introduce and study a new class of nonlinear mixed family of random fuzzy and crisp operator equation couples in fuzzy normed spaces based on the random version of the theory of (φ, ψ)-contractor due to Mihet. Further, some new random iterative algorithms for solving this kind of nonlinear operator equation couples in fuzzy normed spaces are constructed and the convergence of iterative sequences generated by the algorithms under joint orbitally complete conditions is proved. As applications, some new common fixed point theorems for a mixed family of fuzzy and crisp operators in fuzzy normed spaces are also given. In this paper, a class of generalized set-valued variational inclusions in Banach spaces are introduced and studied, which include many variational inclusions studied by others in recent years. By using some new and innovative techniques, several existence theorems for the generalized set-valued variational inclusions in Banach spaces are established, and a perturbed three-step iterative algorithms for solving this kind of set-valued variational inclusions are suggested and analyzed. Our results include Ishikawa, Mann and Noor iterations as special cases. The results presented in this paper improve and extend almost all the current results in the more general setting. In this paper we propose a regularization of general Tikhonov type for large-scale ill-posed problems. We introduce the projection method of iterative bidiagonalization and show that the regularization parameter can be chosen without prior knowledge of the noise variance by using the method of balancing principle. An algorithm implicate the efficient numerical realization of the new choice rule. In this paper, Ho's stiff-string model for the drill strings is simplified into an implicit differential equation setting. By using the Banach fixed point theorem, an existence of exact solution of this model is proved under the condition ... An iterative algorithm for solving this simplified model is constructed and the convergence of the sequence generated by the algorithm is discussed. In this paper, the new pivoting strategy named boundedly partial pivoting is presented in the process of the incomplete LDLT factorization, based on the maximum weighted matchings in the preprocessing of solving a symmetric indefinite linear system. This new pivoting method is acquired by changing the tri-diagonal pivoting algorithm, and none of permutations of rows and columns are needed. Meanwhile, the lower triangular factor L is bounded. Numerical results demonstrate that the newly proposed pivoting strategy can extend the scope of applications of the LDLT preconditioner, compared with the tri-diagonal pivoting. Moreover, almost the same results are obtained or our boundedly partial pivoting is more efficient with respect to the iteration speed, when both the tri-diagonal pivoting and the boundedly partial pivoting are applicable to incomplete LDLT factorization.
