Online health consultations are becoming more popular as a result of technological improvements. Patients routinely look for information about medical disorders online, which could jeopardize the privacy of medical records and increase the workload of healthcare professionals. Nonetheless, academics continue to be extremely concerned about issues related to the quality characteristics that relate to the current architectural models, such as energy consumption, latency, resource utilization, scalability, and packet loss. This method, however, also results in a significant strain being placed on medical experts who must sort through vast amounts of medical records to extract certain information. This paper presents a novel ciphertext policy attribute-based encryption method coupled with fuzzy logic to overcome these issues. This solution uses a hybrid structure of IPFS and blockchain to store data and enables complex bidirectional access control. Before being added to IPFS, medical records are encrypted. To ensure data integrity, related IPFS hash indexes are then added to the blockchain. Utilizing attribute-based technology, users' data is encrypted to give them fine-grained bidirectional access control. A thorough security analysis proves the system's resilience, especially when faced with chosen plaintext assaults inside the random oracle model. Tests for this study were conducted using 10–50 attribute sets. This paper's technique solely makes use of a hash operation. All things considered; the study demonstrates that the proposed design is more efficient than earlier schemes. Thus, from the comparison study above, it can be concluded that the system presented in this work is more efficient. This paper explores the relationship between fuzzy logic algebra and non associative groupoid. As a groupoid which can satisfy type-2 cyclic associative (T2CA) law, T2CA-groupoid is characterized by generalized symmetry. Fuzzy logic algebra is a major direction in the study of fuzzy logic. Residuated lattices are a class of fuzzy logic algebras with widespread applications. The inflationary pseudo general residuated lattice (IPGRL), a generalization of the residuated lattice, does not need to satisfy the associative law and commutative law. Moreover, the greatest element of IPGRL is no longer the identity element. In this paper, the notion of T2CA-IPGRL (IPGRL in T2CA-groupoid) is proposed and its properties are investigated in combination with the study of IPGRL and T2CA-groupoid. In addition, the generalized symmetry and regularity of T2CA-groupoid are investigated based on the characteristics of commutative elements. Meanwhile, the decomposition of T2CA-root of band with T2CA-unipotent radical is studied as well. The result shows that every T2CA-root of band is the disjoint union of T2CA-unipotent radicals. Containerized data centers (CDCs) have experienced rapid growth in recent years, owing to their modular and scalable nature. However, ensuring reliability and early fault detection in these complex systems is critical. This paper presents a novel Fuzzy Logic-based Fault Detection (FLFD) framework for CDCs using Digital Twins (DTs). The proposed approach employs DTs to create accurate virtual representations of the CDCs, which enable real-time monitoring and analysis of the physical systems. This paper focuses on three main aspects: (1) the development of a comprehensive DT model for CDCs, (2) the design and implementation of a FLFD algorithm, and (3) the validation of the proposed approach through extensive simulations and real-world case studies. The FLFD algorithm leverages fuzzy logic principles to identify and localize faults in the system, thereby enhancing the overall fault detection accuracy and reducing false alarms. Right-first-time production enables manufacturing companies to be profitable as well as competitive. Ascertaining such a concept is not as straightforward as it may seem in many industries, including 3D printing. Therefore, in this research paper, a right-first-time framework based on the integration of fuzzy logic and multi-objective swarm optimization is proposed to reverse-engineer the radial based integrated network. Such a framework was elicited to represent the fused deposition modelling (FDM) process. Such a framework aims to identify the optimal FDM parameters that should be used to produce a 3D printed specimen with the desired mechanical characteristics right from the first time. The proposed right-first-time framework can determine the optimal set of the FDM parameters that should be used to 3D print parts with the required characteristics. It has been proven that the right-first-time model developed in this paper has the ability to identify the optimal set of parameters successfully with an average error percentage of 4.7%. This paper studies the security control problem of semi-Markov jump systems. First, the parameter uncertainty, the time-varying delay, the nonlinear function and the cyber attack are considered in the system. Second, the nonlinear function is linearized by the fuzzy logic rule. A sliding mode surface is designed to obtain an equivalent controller and get a sliding mode dynamic system. By constructing Lyapunov functions of the mode dependence, a sufficient condition for H∞ asymptotic stability of the system is obtained. Then, an adaptive sliding mode controller is established, and the original system reaches the sliding mode surface in a finite time. When providing patient care, healthcare professionals often rely on interpreting laboratory and clinical test results. However, their analysis is constrained by human capacity, leading to uncertainties in diagnoses. Machine learning has the potential to evaluate a larger amount of data and identify patterns and relationships that may otherwise go unnoticed. However, popular machine learning algorithms typically require abundant and labeled data, which is not always available. To address this challenge, the adoption of active learning allows for the selection of the most relevant instances for training, reducing the need for extensive labeling. Additionally, fuzzy logic offers the ability to handle uncertainties. This paper proposes a novel approach that utilizes fuzzy membership functions to transform data as a pre-processing step for active learning. The objective is to approximate similar instances, specifically for the purpose of prediction, thereby minimizing the workload of human experts in labeling data for model training. The results of this study demonstrate the effectiveness of this approach in predicting heart disease and highlight the potential of using membership functions to enhance machine learning models in the analysis of medical information. Traffic on highways has increased significantly in the past few years. Consequently, this has caused delays for the drivers in reaching their final destination and increased the highway's congestion level. Many options have been proposed to ease these issues. In this paper, a model of the highway drivers' population was built based on several factors, including the behavioral patterns of the drivers, like drivers' time flexibility to reach the destination, their carpool eligibility, and their tolerance to pay the toll price, in addition to the traffic information from the system. A fuzzy logic decision-making model is presented to emulate how drivers would choose the lane to use based on the aforementioned factors and the current congestion levels of all the lanes on the highway. The presented model, along with the simulation results from applying the model to different simulation scenarios, show the usefulness of such a model in predicting an optimal toll value. The rapid expansion of Internet of Things (IoT) applications and the increasing complexity of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) have created a critical need for efficient load balancing strategies. This paper proposes a dynamic load balancing approach for IoT-enabled WSNs using a fuzzy logic-based control mechanism. The proposed method aims to optimize energy consumption, reduce latency, and enhance network lifetime by intelligently distributing the workload among sensor nodes. The fuzzy logic controller takes into account various parameters, such as energy levels, communication distances, and node density, to make adaptive load balancing decisions. The control mechanism allocates tasks to the most suitable nodes, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and preventing overloading of individual nodes. Simulations are conducted in diverse network scenarios to validate the performance of the proposed approach. Results demonstrate significant improvements in energy efficiency, latency reduction, and overall network lifetime compared to traditional load balancing techniques. Unmanned robotics and autonomous systems (URAS) are integral components of contemporary Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS), allowing vast applications across many domains. However, due to uncertainties and ambiguous data in real-world environments, ensuring robust and efficient decision-making in URAS is difficult. By capturing and reasoning with linguistic data, fuzzy logic has emerged as a potent tool for addressing such uncertainties. Deep Iterative Fuzzy Pooling (DIFP) is a novel method proposed in this paper for improving decision-making in URAS within CPS. The DIFP integrates the capabilities of deep learning and fuzzy logic to effectively pool and aggregate information from multiple sources, thereby facilitating more precise and trustworthy decision-making. This research presents the architecture and operational principles of DIFP and demonstrates its efficacy in various URAS scenarios through extensive simulations and experiments. The proposed method demonstrated a high-performance level, with an accuracy of 98.86%, precision of 95.30%, recall of 97.32%, F score of 96.26%, and a notably low false positive rate of 4.17%. The results show that DIFP substantially improves decision-making performance relative to conventional methods, making it a promising technique for enhancing the autonomy and dependability of URAS in CPS. In this paper, we establish the matching relation between implication operator and aggregation operator, which provides a new solution for the design and construction of multi-rule fuzzy inference system. Firstly, according to the definition and monotonicity of implication operator, a new classification method of implication operator is proposed, and then the fuzzy inference process using different implication operators is classified. Then, dynamic maximum aggregation operator and dynamic minimum aggregation operator are proposed. Based on the compositional rule of inference (CRI) method, a matching method and basis of implication operator and aggregation operator for fuzzy inference systems is given and illustrated with examples. Finally, the applicability of the proposed method in this paper is further illustrated by comparing the method with existing methods in the literature and using the nearness degree as an evaluation index. This paper firstly establishes the discrete-time lattice networks for nonlocal stochastic competitive neural networks with reaction diffusions and fuzzy logic by employing a mix techniques of finite difference to space variables and Mittag-Leffler time Euler difference to time variable. The proposed networks consider both the effects of spatial diffusion and fuzzy logic, whereas most of the existing literatures focus only on discrete-time networks without spatial diffusion. Firstly, the existence of a unique ω-anti-periodic in distribution to the networks is addressed by employing Banach contractive mapping principle and the theory of stochastic calculus. Secondly, global exponential convergence in mean-square sense to the networks is discussed on the basis of constant variation formulas for sequences. Finally, an illustrative example is used to show the feasible of the works in the current paper with the help of MATLAB Toolbox. Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) have gained significant attention in recent years due to their wide range of applications, such as environmental monitoring, smart agriculture, and structural health monitoring. With the increasing volume of data generated by WSNs, efficient data analytics techniques are crucial for improving the overall performance and reducing energy consumption. This paper presents a novel distributed data analytics approach for WSNs using fuzzy logic-based machine learning. The proposed method combines the advantages of fuzzy logic for handling uncertainty and imprecision with the adaptability of machine learning techniques. It enables sensor nodes to process and analyze data locally, reducing the need for data transmission and consequently saving energy. Furthermore, this approach enhances data accuracy and fault tolerance by incorporating the fusion of heterogeneous sensor data. Energy sustainability indicators are essential for evaluating and measuring energy systems' environmental, social, and economic impact. These indicators can be used to assess the sustainability of different energy sources, such as renewable or fossil fuels, as well as the performance of energy systems in various regions or countries. The goal of this paper is to propose a new energy sustainability index based on fuzzy logic for the Amazon region. The fuzzy inference system enabled the operationalization of subjective sustainability concepts, resulting in a final index that can evaluate the performance of the states in the Legal Amazon and compare them to each other. The results indicated that Mato Grosso had the highest ranking, followed by Tocantins, Amapá, Roraima, Rondônia, Pará, Acre, Maranhão, and Amazonas in the last position. These findings demonstrate that the selected indicators and the final index are effective tools for evaluating the energy sustainability of the Amazon region and can aid public managers in making decisions and proposing sustainable regional development policies for the region. Handwriting is an individual trait that serves as evidence to authenticate a particular writer. Identifying the writer of a handwritten text has shown encouraging results in examining historical and forensic documents. In this paper, we propose a novel offline writer identification system based on the challenging analysis of small amount of data to extract distinct patterns. In our deep network, the feature extraction process relies on a specially designed dual-path architecture, and the resulting embeddings are concatenated to produce the final learned features. To deal with a variety of uncertainties such as high intra-class variations and noises, we leverage the fuzzy logic in the design of a custom Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) with a type-2 fuzzy activation function for the first path. Additionally, the second path utilizes the transfer learning-based CNN to enhance the discriminability of the learned features. Our method allows for text-independent writer identification, eliminating the need for identical handwriting samples to train and test the model. Considering that various factors can influence the handwriting style, a dataset containing right-to-left handwriting samples is assembled. The proposed method is evaluated on our developed dataset and four widely-known public datasets, namely KHATT, CVL, Firemaker, and IAM. High accuracy values are achieved, with results of 99.85%, 99.83%, 99.79%, 99.64%, and 98.17% for each dataset, respectively. One noteworthy aspect of this study is that the evaluation results on diverse datasets demonstrate the applicability of the proposed model to various languages. In this paper, a variable impedance control method is proposed for uncertain robotic systems based on a nonlinear force contact-based flexible environmental model. First, a nonlinear force contact model between the rigid manipulator and flexible environment is applied to the compliant control of the manipulator, which can avoid excessive force overshoot that usually exists in the traditional spring-damping environmental model. Then, to achieve better force/position tracking performances, a fuzzy-based adaptive variable impedance controller is designed based on the force contact-based flexible environmental model, where the impedance parameters are adjusted online through the force and position feedback of the robotic system, and the fuzzy logic system is used to compensate the uncertainties. Moreover, the stability of the adaptive variable impedance control scheme is proved by the Routh stability criterion, and the boundness of all the signals in the closed-loop control system is guaranteed by the Lyapunov stability theorem. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by the simulation of a two-link manipulator, and the results demonstrate that the performances of position tracking are improved, while the force overshoot and oscillation time are reduced. Intelligent Fuzzy Edge Computing (IFEC) has emerged as an innovative technology to enable real-time decision-making in Internet of Things (IoT)-based Digital Twin environments. Digital Twins provide virtual models of physical systems, facilitating predictive maintenance and optimization. However, implementing real-time decision-making in these environments is challenging due to massive data volumes and need for quick response times. IFEC addresses this by offering a flexible, scalable and efficient platform for real-time decision-making. This paper presents an overview of key aspects of IFEC including fuzzy logic, edge computing and Digital Twins. The use of fuzzy logic in IFEC provides an adaptive framework for handling uncertainties in data. Edge computing enables localized processing, reducing latency. The integration of Digital Twins allows system monitoring, analysis and optimization. Potential applications of IFEC are highlighted in domains such as manufacturing, healthcare, energy management and transportation. Recent advancements in IFEC are also discussed, covering new fuzzy inference systems, edge computing architectures, Digital Twin modeling techniques and security mechanisms. The expansive growth of information on the Internet has led to new developments in computer vision technology and image processing techniques. Since stone inscriptions are subject to erosion and polishing by the external environment for years, it is difficult to extract image and text information. In this study, the fuzzy control theory is combined with edge detection technology for image edge detection. Firstly, a suitable fuzzy rule and affiliation function are set, then a fuzzy control system is used to extract and detect the image edge information, and then a fuzzy logic rule-based edge detection algorithm is proposed to detect the inscription images. To test the performance of the algorithm, the detection effect of the image is first analyzed from a subjective perspective. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm has better edge detection for both inscription and lena images, with better noise suppression without excessive distortion, and clearer inscription images. The proposed algorithm has the lowest MSE value of 41.26 when the detection object is the lena image b, and the highest PSNR value of 33.84 when the detection object is the lena image a. Multi-objective optimization can be used to address possible conflicting relationships between multiple objectives. However, some objectives have a fuzzy temporal relationship between them, making it difficult to give a common method to portray the fuzzy temporal relationship. To fill this gap, we propose the concept of complex objectives, which can be described by fuzzy temporal logic that includes both temporal and logical operators. Furthermore, we investigated the optimal control problems of complex objectives and developed a fuzzy system called possibilistic decision systems (PDSs) to establish a framework for optimal control. In PDSs, states of fuzzy systems are determined by a family of variables, and transitions induced by actions between fuzzy states of systems are also fuzzy uncertain and determined by a possibility degree. Importantly, we proved that memoryless strategies are sufficient for optimal control of complex objectives. Finally, the theory presented in this paper is illustrated by a mobile robot simulation. Sensory experiences that include vision, hearing, touching, smelling and tasting are important parameters that enable people to trade effectively in retail stores. In this study, based on multisensory attributes the evaluation of customer satisfaction is considered using fuzzy set theory and conjoint analysis. Fuzzy set theory is one of the best methodologies for describing the meaning of linguistic values that express customer preferences. However, there may be different customer and expert opinions in the evaluation of preferences by expressing linguistic values. In the paper, a type-2 fuzzy set is used to handle these uncertainties. This paper proposes the combination of type-2 fuzzy sets and conjoint analysis in order to evaluate customer satisfaction using customer opinions about sensory variables such as sight, sound, taste, touch and smell when purchasing goods in retail stores. For this purpose, using statistical survey results and type-2 fuzzy sets the customer satisfaction degrees were determined. The methodology used for the determination of customer satisfaction is based on conjoint analysis that uses the similarity measure to determine the closest opinions of the customers and experts for the evaluation of customer satisfaction degrees. The Internet of Things (IoT) is a future-generation networking environment in which distributed smart objects can communicate directly and create a connection between different types of heterogeneous networks. Knowing the accurate localization of IoT-based devices is one of the most challenging issues in expanding the IoT network performance. This paper was done to propose a new fuzzy type2-based scheme to enhance the position accurateness of sensors deployed in the Internet of Things environments. Our proposed scheme is based on the weighted centralized localization strategy, in which the location of unknown nodes calculates using the fuzzy type-2 system. The flow measurement via the wireless channel to calculate the separation distance between the sensor/anchor nodes is employed as the fuzzy system input. Also, the fuzzy membership functions to better adaptivity of our scheme with lossy IoT environments via learning automata algorithm are tuned. Then, in the proposed method, the fuzzy type-2 calculations are restricted by comparing the received signal strength with a predefined threshold value to extend the network lifetime. The effectiveness of the proposed scheme has been proven through extensive simulation. Based on the simulation results, our scheme, on average, reduced the localization error by 35.9% and 9.5% decreased the energy consumption by 13% and 7.2%, and reduced the convergence rate by 33.1% and 12.37 % compared to the HSPPSO and IMRL methods, respectively. This paper presents the design and development of Brain Emotional Learning based adaptive Type-2 Fuzzy Systems for control of dynamical systems. The BEL controller belongs to the class of bio inspired controllers, as its architecture is based on limbic system of human brain and is capable of providing solutions for complex real time problems. In this work, dynamics of Brain Emotional Learning are used for the adaptation of membership functions in the design of Type-2 Fuzzy Logic Controllers. The financial systems have complicated dynamics and are perturbed by various uncertainties and disturbances. Chaos theory provides a practical approach to analyzing financial systems. The chaotic systems have unpredictable random characteristics that help to analyze the financial systems better. Recently, type-3 (T3) fuzzy logic systems (FLSs) have been developed for high-uncertain systems. T3-FLSs provide a reliable tool to cope with high-noisy environments. In T3-FLSs, the upper/lower bounds of uncertainties are fuzzy values. This property results in a strong tool to model more levels of uncertainties. Control, modeling, and forecasting accuracy in financial systems are so important. Then, better systems with higher accuracy are required. In this paper, a new T3-FLS based controller is introduced for chaotic financial systems. By solving a Riccati equation, sufficient conditions are concluded for optimality and robustness. T3-FLSs are learned to minimize the error and stabilize the whole system. A new optimal learning rules are extracted for T3-FLSs. Various benchmark chaotic model of financial systems are considered for examining the efficacy of the introduced approach, and the excellent response and superiority of the suggested approach is verified. Blast-induced ground vibration is highly possible to result in serious losses such as destroyed buildings. The crucial parameter of the mentioned vibration is peak particle velocity (PPV). Many equations have been developed to predict PPV, however, worse performance has been reported by multiple literatures. This paper developed a method for predicting PPV based on Mamdani Fuzzy Inference System. Firstly, Minimum Redundancy Maximum Relevance was employed to identify the blasting design parameters which significantly contribute to the PPV induced by blasting. Secondly, K-means method was applied to determine the value ranges of the selected parameters. The selected parameters and corresponding value ranges were combined to input into Mamdani Fuzzy Inference System for obtaining predicted PPV. Totally, 280 samples were collected from a blasting site. 260 out of them were used to train the proposed method and 20 were assigned for test. The proposed method was tested in the comparison with empirical equation USBM, multiple linear regression analysis, pure Mamdani Fuzzy Inference System in terms of the difference between predicted PPV and measured PPV, coefficient of correlation, root-mean-square error, and mean absolute error. Goal oriented software requirements analysis method is used for the analysis of elicited functional goals (FGs) and non-functional goals (NFGs) of a system in which goals are decomposed and refined into sub-goals until requirements from the sub-goals are identified. Based on the critical analysis, we found that most of the attention of goal-oriented methods is on the crisp and fuzzy logic during the analysis of the software goals or requirements. In these methods' prior information about the type of membership function is required; and the selection of membership function depends on the subjective justification. As a result, it lacks objectivity and may affect the ranking values of the goals or requirements during the analysis. Therefore, this paper presents a rough attributed goal-oriented software requirements analysis (RAGOSRA) method in which rough preference matrix has been used to capture the opinions of different stakeholders. The results of the RAGOSRA method are compared by considering the following criteria, i.e., goal types, goal links, types of data used in the analysis, stakeholder perceptions and time complexity with some fuzzy based methods. Based on the time complexity analysis, it is found that RAGOSRA method requires only 24 operations for the selection of goals for the dataset having 3 NFGs and 4 FGs of an institute examination system. A robust collaborative system of active products (a product is called active when its ownership does not get transferred from provider to requestor at the time of its usage) should have an in-built mechanism which can make entities (service provider(s) and requestor(s)) to decide with whom to collaborate. This paper proposes a Trust based Multi-Agent Framework (TbMAF) for collaborative systems of active products which enable only trustworthy entities to collaborate, safeguarding both users' sensitive applications and providers' resources. The trustworthiness of service provider(s) and requestor(s) is computed using Fuzzy Inference System (FIS) and Radial Basis Function Neural Network (RBFNN) methodologies, respectively. A prototype based on the proposed system has been tested using real time data of a collaborative system namely, EGEE (Enabling Grids for E-science). This paper finds evidence that the job failure rate is lower when collaborations take place only between trustworthy entities. Transfer learning (TL) is further investigated in computer intelligence and artificial intelligence. Many TL methodologies have been suggested and applied to figure out the problem of practical applications, such as in natural language processing, classification models for COVID-19 disease, Alzheimer's disease detection, etc. FTL (fuzzy transfer learning) is an extension of TL that uses a fuzzy system to pertain to the vagueness and uncertainty parameters in TL, allowing the discovery of predicates and their evaluation of unclear data. Because of the system's increasing complexity, FTL is often utilized to further infer proper results without constructing the knowledge base and environment from scratch. This paper presents the design and development of Modular Multilevel Inverter (MMI) to reduce Total harmonic distortion (THD) using intelligent techniques towards marine applications. Many researchers have described the additional advantage of inverter control challenges such as voltage imbalance, increasing the number of voltage levels, power quality issues, reducing the number of semiconductors switches and achieving higher efficiency. Under the intelligent techniques, the implementation is carried out with aid of Artificial Neural Networks (ANN), Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC) and Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) to calculate the modulation index (ma) and switching angles (θ) for MMI. Based on the calculation, it is trained to form a mapping between inputs and outputs for obtaining reduced Total Harmonics Distortion (THD). The objective of the intelligent controller is to control the inverter for regulating the output voltage with lowest THD. The proposed control structure has been estimated and compared for better robustness in terms of switching angle and modulation index with least THD in the inverter. In this paper, we introduce the notion of state monadic residuated lattices and study some of their related properties. Then we prove that the relationship between state monadic algebras of substructural fuzzy logics completely maintains the relationship between corresponding monadic algebras. Moreover, we introduce state monadic filters of state monadic residuated lattice, giving a state monadic filter generated by a nonempty subset of a residuated lattice, and obtain some characterizations of maximal and prime state monadic filters. Finally, we give some characterization of special kinds of state monadic residuated lattices, including simple, semisimple and local state monadic residuated lattices by state monadic filters. In addition to the well-known fuzzy sets, a novel type of fuzzy set called spherical fuzzy set (SFS) is recently introduced in the literature. SFS is the generalized structure over existing structures of fuzzy sets (intuitionistic fuzzy sets-IFS, Pythagorean fuzzy sets-PFS, and neutrosophic fuzzy sets-NFS) based on three dimensions (truth, falsehood, and indeterminacy) to provide a wider choice for decision-makers (DMs). Although the SFS has been introduced recently, the topic attracts the attention of academicians at a remarkable rate. This study is the expanded version of the authors' earlier study by Ozceylan et al. [1]. A comprehensive literature review of recent and state-of-the-art papers is studied to draw a framework of the past and to shed light on future directions. Therefore, a systematic review methodology that contains bibliometric and descriptive analysis is followed in this study. 104 scientific papers including SFS in their titles, abstracts and keywords are reviewed. The papers are then analyzed and categorized based on titles, abstracts, and keywords to construct a useful foundation of past research. A Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is divided into groups of sensor nodes for efficient transmission of data from the point of measuring to sink. By performing clustering, the network remains energy-efficient and stable. An intelligent mechanism is needed to cluster the sensors and find an organizer node, the cluster head. The organizer node assembles data from its constituent nodes called member nodes, finds an optimal route to the sink of the network, and transfers the same. The nomination of cluster head is crucial since energy utilization is a major challenge of sensor nodes deployed over a hostile environment. In this paper, a fuzzy-based Improved Harris's Hawk Optimization Algorithm (IHHO) is proposed to select an able cluster head for data communication. The fuzzy inference model ponders balance energy, distance from self to sink node, and vicinity of nodes from cluster head as input factors and decides if a candidate node is eligible for becoming a cluster head. The IHHO tunes the logic into an energy-efficient network with less complexity and more ease. The novelty of the paper lies in applying the hawk-pack technique based on fuzzy rules. Flight performance of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) strongly depends on implemented attitude tracking control. For designing better controllers, nonlinear control design techniques are often opted instead of control design based on linearized models. Uncertainty in nonlinear dynamics estimation may arise due to inaccuracies in aerodynamic derivatives and simplifications/assumptions made during the derivation of nonlinear models. This paper considers attitude tracking control of fixed-wing UAVs having uncertain dynamics and corrupted gyro sensor outputs. An integral chain differentiator (ICD) is used to provide the analytical redundancy to the gyros used to measure the angular rates. Two control design schemes are proposed, a neuro-fuzzy adaptive sliding mode control (NFASMC) and an ICD approximation-based fuzzy adaptive sliding mode control (ICD-FASMC). In NFASMC, the uncertain part of the dynamics is estimated using an adaptive radial basis function neural network. Gyro sensor output errors are estimated in real-time, using ICD based error estimation scheme and used in the control law along with the sensor's corrupted outputs. In ICD-FASMC, the uncertain dynamics and angular rates of UAV are estimated using the ICD such that the requirement of the gyro sensor outputs for control design is bypassed. The switching gain of the designed controllers is made adaptive using fuzzy logic to mitigate the chattering effect. The stability of the proposed controllers is proved using the Lyapunov approach. One of the most important issues for FLC systems is the problem of finding the right balance between interpretability and accuracy. For this delicate balance, several methods which can be integrated into fuzzy logic, and tune the fuzzy logic parameters adaptively, have been proposed. One of these popular approaches is the heuristic optimization method. However, in terms of optimization, designing fuzzy logic control is a complex optimization problem that is discrete in terms of rule optimization and numerical in terms of optimization of membership degrees parameters. In this context, heuristic-based adaptive fuzzy control systems focus on either fuzzy rule optimization, weighting fuzzy rules, or parameter optimization. In this paper, unlike the others, an adaptive weighted fuzzy logic control (awFLC) method, which weights the inputs instead of the rules, is proposed. First, the membership degree of each input is calculated. Then, the resultant weight is determined by combining the weighted input membership degrees. For a crisp result, the average of the membership degrees of the resultant weight to the output membership functions is calculated. In awFLC, the interaction between membership functions is achieved by average membership degree, communication between inputs is achieved by the weighting of inputs, and mapping between inputs-outputs is achieved by the resultant weight value. Thus, the approach, which turns into a purely numerical optimization problem, provides convenience for heuristic search. In awFLC, optimal values for input weights and variable parameters are searched by the genetic algorithm. The performance of the method was tested on traction power control, and the results were compared with the ANFIS results. It is critical to provide security for this data when they are being shared across the internet. The security of data saved in cloud storage, as well as data transport and transmitting a key required to encrypt data between two parties, has been a source of concern for the industry, as a result of the growing use of cloud services in recent years. Collective attacks are significantly more powerful than individual strikes, according to our research. Despite the fact that additional research works were studied in the previous literature review, there are some study concerns for not correcting third-party data hacking. Therefore, this paper focuses on the design of Secured Quantum Key Distribution (SQKD) with Fuzzy logic to improve the security of the shared key. Quantum Key Distribution, Post Quantum Key Distribution, and the EPR Proto-col are technologies that increase the security of data sharing. We have incorporated the Secured Quantum Key Distribution (SQKD) with Fuzzy logic in our proposed work to improve the security of the shared key. The proposed systems include some additional characteristics in addition to the existing approaches. The proposed model uses shifting algorithms and the fuzzification procedure to assure the security of the secret key in the Fuzzification of Quantum Key approach. The experimental results states that the mean value of security losses in SFQ is 1.8306051, and the mean value of QKD is 14.6448416, with standard deviations of 1.7329 and 13.863 for SFQ and QKD, respectively. In this paper, a simulation study enhanced to model that the speed control of brushless direct current (BLDC) motors used in electric vehicles with intelligent control methods. The simulation study was prepared in Matlab/Simulink environment. The first control method is Type-1 fuzzy logic control (T1FLC), and the second control method is the Intermittent Type-2 fuzzy logic control (IT2FLC) model. Membership functions for different membership numbers have been created for both types of FLC models. These are 3×3, 5×5, 7×7. Control methods are prepared in Matlab/M-file environment. The model is defined as the input variable of the error, which is the difference between the reference speed and the motor speed, and the output variable of the Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) signal applied to the motor. The simulation study maintains the speed of the BLDC motor up to the reference speed with T1FLC and IT2FLC controllers, depending on the reference speed and applied load values. Depending on the number of different memberships, the effects of controller performances on the control of motor speed have been observed. Iterative Learning Control (ILC) is an intelligent control algorithm that can effectively handle a tracking error in any system that operates in a repetitive manner. In practice, it is hardly possible to implement a single gain learning control law to improve the tracking performance due to the existence of large transient growth. To prevent the growth, this paper proposes a time-varying learning control design using the unique concept of fuzzy logic control to track the desired trajectory as well as the desired control input signal. The proposed control design is developed on both serial and parallel ILC configurations. The two configurations are initially constructed and implemented on a robotic manipulator with the use of a single gain learning control law. To avoid bad transients, the gain adjustment mechanism based on fuzzy logic control is introduced to vary the learning gain in each time step for enhancing the robustness of the system. According to the simulation and experiment on a robotic manipulator, both ILC structures with the proposed mechanism achieve the desired learning performance without bad transients. Edge Detection is the first stage in the image division into separate parts. Image division is the partitioning of a digital image to the different zones or the set of pixels. Edge detection is one of the techniques applied in digital image processing often. The purpose of detecting pixels is to match the edges in the image. Filtering, Enhancement, and Detection are three steps in edge detection. Images are usually destroyed by casual changes in intensity intervals called noise or confusion. some noise variations include salt and pepper, pulse, and Gaussian. However, there is a relation between edge detection power and noise reduction. Using filters to the noise reduction causes the loss of edge detection power. For facilitating the edges detection, it is essential for the determination of pixels' intensity constraints in their neighborhood. Many points in an image have a nontransparent slope, and all of them are not the edges of the joint space. Therefore, some of the linear and nonlinear methods such as Sobel, Prewitt, and Robert have to be used to determine the edge points. The fuzzy logic and the system based on it, is one of the most effective methods for edge detection. This paper presents an optimized rule-based fuzzy inference system and designs the efficiency mask matric. The simulation results for edge detection are presented using the traditional edge detection techniques, including Binary Filter, Sobel Filter, Prewitt Filter, and Robert Filter. Also, it is presented using the fuzzy approach. The simulation results show that the designed fuzzy system has been able to detect the edges of the image more accurately and help to increase the sharpness and quality of the edges. In recent years, driver behavior analysis plays a vital role to enhance passenger coverage and management resources in the smart transportation system. The real-world environment possesses the driver principles contains a lot of information like driving activities, acceleration, speed, and fuel consumption. In big data analysis, the driver pattern analyses are complex because mining information is not utilized to feature evaluations and classification. In this paper, a new efficient Fuzzy Logical-based driver behavioral pattern analysis has been proposed to offer effective recommendations to the drivers. Primarily, the feature selection can be carried out with the assist of fuzzy logical subset selection. The selected features are then evaluated using frequent pattern information and these measures will be optimized with a multilayer perception model to create behavioral weight. Afterward, the information weights are trained with a test through an optimized spectral neural network. Finally, the neurons are activated by a recurrent neural network to classify the behavioral approach for the superior recommendation. The proposed method will learn the characteristics of driving behaviors and model temporal features automatically without the need for specialized expertise in feature modelling or machine learning techniques. The simulation results manifest that the proposed framework attains better performance with 98.4% of prediction accuracy and 86.8% of precision rate as compared with existing state-of-the-art methods. With the increasingly fierce market competition, enterprise managers are constantly exploring the key indicators that have an important impact on the financial performance (FP) of enterprises, and achieve the expected FP of shareholders by improving these key indicators. On the basis of the existing enterprise performance measurement system and index research, through expert scoring to determine the secondary indicators, this paper selects 87 small and medium-sized board listed companies which officially announced the implementation of equity incentive from 2009 to 2012 as the sample, takes the financial information disclosed in 2013 as the empirical data, and analyzes the traditional multiple linear regression analysis (MLR) When dealing with big data, especially the data with hierarchical structure, this paper proposes a partial regression coefficient calculation model based on hierarchical data, constructs a multiple nonlinear regression model, and concludes through empirical analysis that there is a nonlinear correlation between equity incentive ratio and corporate performance, and that there is an interval effect between equity incentive ratio and corporate performance. At present, the development of China's economy is inseparable from the promotion of innovation and entrepreneurship. However, there are huge differences in the level of entrepreneurship in different regions, so it is urgent to analyze the influencing factors of entrepreneurship. This paper uses panel data of 31 provinces in 2008–2017 to test the impact of urban unemployment rate, regional financial development level, market scale, agglomeration effect, entrepreneurial cost, scientific and technological innovation level, government support and other factors on entrepreneurial level. To solve the issue of factors influencing the enterprises, we utilised an effective way of fuzzy logic along with decision estimation strategy. The empirical results show that regional financial development level, agglomeration effect, technological innovation ability, government support and so on have a positive role in promoting the level of entrepreneurship, while urban unemployment rate has no significant effect on the level of entrepreneurship. The urban rail transit power supply system is an important part of the urban power distribution network and the power source of the rail transit system. It is responsible for providing safe and reliable electrical energy to urban rail trains and power lighting equipment. This paper processes the obtained long-period rail transit power load learning sample data matrix, according to the principle of normalization processing, effectively eliminates irregular data in the sample set and fills in possible missing data, thereby eliminating bad data or fake data for model learning. Moreover, this avoids the generation of huge errors that cause exponential growth in the model due to the increase in the learning sample size and the irregularity of the data. According to the characteristics of power load, this paper comprehensively considers the influence of temperature and date type on the maximum daily load, applies the fuzzy neural network model to the long-period load forecasting of long-period rail transit, and introduces the whole process of establishing the forecasting model in detail. Through detailed analysis of the actual data provided by the EUNITE network, the relevant factors affecting the daily maximum load were determined, and then the appropriate fuzzy input was selected to establish the corresponding fuzzy neural network prediction model, and a relatively ideal prediction result was obtained. On the everlasting demand for better accuracy, high speed, and the inevitable approach for the high-quality surface finish as the basic requirements in the process industry, there felt the requirement to develop models which are reliable for predicting surface roughness (SR) as it is having a crucial role in the process industries. In this paper, SBCNC-60 of HMT make used to study the purpose of machining, while cutting speed (CS), feed rate (FR), and the depth of cut (DoC) were considered as parameters for machining of P8 material. Turning experiments data is studied by keeping two parameters constant at the mid-level out of three parameters. An artificial intelligence technique named fuzzy was engaged in working out for surface roughness and material removal rate (MRR) to design the models of reliable nature for the predictions. The accurate prediction performance of the fuzzy logic model was then better analyzed by calculating MAPE, RMSE, MAD, and correlation coefficient between experimental values and fuzzy logic predictions. MAPE, RMSE, MAD, and correlation coefficient calculated 2.66%, 8.20, 6.44, and 0.98 for MRR and 4.19%,1.16, 0.86 and 0.90 for SR, respectively. This paper is devoted to discussing the reverse triple I method based on the Pythagorean fuzzy set (PFS). We first propose the concepts of Pythagorean t-norm, Pythagorean t-conorm, residual Pythagorean fuzzy implication operator (RPFIO) and Pythagorean fuzzy biresiduum. The reverse triple I methods for Pythagorean fuzzy modus ponens (PFMP) and Pythagorean fuzzy modus tollens (PFMT) are also established. In addition, some interesting properties of the reverse triple I method of PFMP and PFMT inference models are analysed, including the robustness, continuity and reversibility. Finally, a practical problem is provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the reverse triple I method for PFMP in decision-making problems. The advantages of the new method over existing methods are also expounded. Overall, compared with the existing methods, the proposed methods are based on logical reasoning rather than using aggregation operators, so the novel methods are more logical, can better deal with the uncertain problems in complex decision-making environments and can completely reflect the decision-making opinions of decision-makers. Fuzzy logic controllers can handle complex systems by incorporating expert's knowledge in the absence of formal mathematical models. Further, fuzzy logic controllers can effectively capture and accommodate uncertainties that are inherent in real-world controlled systems. On the other hand, Robot Operating System (ROS) has been widely used for many robotic applications due to its modular structure and efficient message-passing mechanisms for the integration of system's components. For this reason, Robot Operating System is an ideal tool for developing software stacks for robotic applications. This paper develops a generic and configurable Robot Operating System package for the implementation of fuzzy logic controllers, particularly type-1 and interval type-2, which are based on either Mamdani or Takagi-Sugeno-Kang fuzzy inference mechanisms. This is achieved by employing a systematic object-oriented approach using the Unified Model Language (UML) to implement the fuzzy inference system as a single class that is composed of fuzzifier, inference, and defuzzifier classes. The present paper proposes a fuzzy inference system for query-focused multi-document text summarization (MTS). The overall scheme is based on Mamdani Inferencing scheme which helps in designing Fuzzy Rule base for inferencing about the decision variable from a set of antecedent variables. The antecedent variables chosen for the task are from linguistic and positional heuristics, and similarity of the documents with the user-defined query. The decision variable is the rank of the sentences as decided by the rules. The final summary is generated by solving an Integer Linear Programming problem. At present, the majority of sports games video adopts MPEG image technology, and MPEG video compression is the current more mainstream approach. After compression, the quality of the video will decline, and other practical problems. However, the existing detection methods of sports video scene conversion, when dealing with MPEG compressed video, are not ideal, often appear the phenomenon of missing detection and wrong detection. In order to solve this problem, this paper proposes a detection method of sports scene conversion on MPEG compressed video based on fuzzy logic. Introducing fuzzy logic into the detection method of video scene conversion is the highlight of this method. Firstly, this paper preprocessed the video image according to the Convention. In this paper, the recognition of image features and specific extraction methods are introduced in detail, and the extraction algorithm of image color features is further optimized. For the design of the detection method, the main innovation is to fully combine the fuzzy logic and macroblock information. In the existing detection methods, different detection schemes are given for the abrupt change of video scene and the gradual change of scene. Finally, in order to verify the actual effect of the detection method in this paper, an experimental analysis based on the keyframe complexity detection method is established. After a number of experiments including the experimental results of scene transition, analysis, and processing time, through the analysis of data, a step-by-step proof of this method has good accuracy and recall.
