The article presents the author's insights on international human rights after the 9/11 terrorists attack in the U.S. and the recognition of the trends of behaviour and legal issues in the advocacy for human rights and peaceful resolution. The author mentions the designed and implemented agenda of the U.S. and Great Britain concerning a unified intent of regime change in Iraq. Moreover, he notes the displacement of human rights on three themes namely jurisdiction, attributability and applicable law, incorporating for instance Guantanamo Bay. He provides an extensive discussion of the three themes in the context of U.S. and Great Britain and asserts that the prevention of the recurrence of terrible violations calls for seriously taking the commitment to human rights and the rule of law.
