With the promotion of distributed energy trading and the transformation of power system operation mode, prosumers in the carbon and electricity markets face new opportunities and challenges. This paper proposes a peer-to-peer transaction platform to promote renewable energy consumption and carbon emission reduction, including multiple types of loads, coal-fired units, and microgrid prosumers. The carbon-emitting members of power generation and demand sides in the electricity market are introduced into the carbon market, and their carbon cost model is established. To guide consumption behavior of demand side, the user utility model based on electricity consumption is built to reduce carbon emissions. With the goal of optimizing the generation cost, user utility, and network fees, the distributed optimal scheduling model is established to recover the network fees. Finally, the alternating direction method of multipliers is used to solve this problem and protect transaction privacy. The results indicate that introducing carbon trading at the power generation and demand sides can promote the shift of members' production behavior from high-carbon emission industries to low-carbon ones. Additionally, an appropriate network fee mechanism and unit fee can guide market members to adjust their trading behavior adaptively and help the power grid recover costs. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Multi-energy complementary technology is meaningful for promoting the development of solar energy utilization, and the main novelty of this paper is the proposal of a novel linear Fresnel reflector solar-gas combined (LSGC) system which utilizes the organic Rankine cycle driven proton exchange membrane hydrogen production (PEM-HP) subsystem as well as is designed for generating electricity and hydrogen. By using the Ebsilon, the operation performance and exergy analyses of the LSGC system are launched. The results show that the output power and electric efficiency of the LSGC system are 424.8 MW and 45.4%. The solar field contributes a power of 34 MW. The hydrogen production rate of the LSGC system is 182.88 kg/day. The solar field, GTCC and PEM-HP section can reach the coordinated operation effectively during a long term, revealing the technical feasibility of the LSGC system. The exergy analysis results indicate that the solar field has the second maximum exergy destruction and the smallest exergy efficiency, and the combustion chamber has the maximum exergy destruction. The economic analysis shows that the levelized costs of electricity and hydrogen of the LSGC system are 0.045 $/kWh and 5.67 $/kg. The environment effect evaluation shows that compared with the coal power, the LSGC system can reduce the annual emissions of CO 2 , NO x , SO 2 and dust effectively. This paper examines the potential of solar-hydrogen hybrid renewable energy systems as a solution for off-grid applications in areas with heavy rainfall. This study highlights the immense potential of renewable mini grids as a solution to Africa's energy access challenges helping to achieve the sustainable development goal SDG 7. Associated to Photovoltaic primary source (PV), the combination of Lithium-Ion batteries and Alkaline hydrogen system emerges as an effective approach for ensuring uninterrupted electricity supply, especially in rainy seasons. This solution mitigates the need for Diesel Generator, offers protection against fluctuations in diesel fuel prices, and concurrently results in significant reductions in CO2 emissions while optimizing the utilization of PV energy. The uniqueness of this approach is the use of hydrogen as a backup solution. Hydrogen, generated through electrolysis, serves as a reliable energy reservoir during periods of low renewable energy production. This capability enhances the mini-grid's resilience, guaranteeing continuous electricity feeding to off grid critical facilities where power outages can have significant consequences. However, the exclusive use of hydrogen in conjunction with PV energy requires further cost reductions for broader competitiveness, especially concerning Solid Oxide Cell (SoC) electrolyzers. Furthermore, fuel cells, across all hydrogen technologies explored, require continuous development to improve their cost-efficiency and streamline their widespread adoption. Nevertheless, the improvement that can be made to reduce the Hydrogen system CAPEX and enhancing its efficiency would make green hydrogen as a competitive and reliable primary storage solution.
