Traditional path planning is mainly utilized for path planning in discrete action space, which results in incomplete ship navigation power propulsion strategies during the path search process. Moreover, reinforcement learning experiences low success rates due to its unbalanced sample collection and unreasonable design of reward function. In this paper, an environment framework is designed, which is constructed using the Box2D physics engine and employs a reward function, with the distance between the agent and arrival point as the main, and the potential field superimposed by boundary control, obstacles, and arrival point as the supplement. We also employ the state-of-the-art PPO (Proximal Policy Optimization) algorithm as a baseline for global path planning to address the issue of incomplete ship navigation power propulsion strategy. Additionally, a Beta policy-based distributed sample collection PPO algorithm is proposed to overcome the problem of unbalanced sample collection in path planning by dividing sub-regions to achieve distributed sample collection. The experimental results show the following: (1) The distributed sample collection training policy exhibits stronger robustness in the PPO algorithm; (2) The introduced Beta policy for action sampling results in a higher path planning success rate and reward accumulation than the Gaussian policy at the same training time; (3) When planning a path of the same length, the proposed Beta policy-based distributed sample collection PPO algorithm generates a smoother path than traditional path planning algorithms, such as A*, IDA*, and Dijkstra. This paper proposes a data valuation algorithm for inertial measurement unit-based human activity recognition (IMU-based HAR) data based on meta reinforcement learning. Unlike previous studies that received feature-level input, the algorithm in this study added a feature extraction structure to the data valuation algorithm, and it can receive raw-level inputs and achieve excellent performance. As IMU-based HAR data are multivariate time-series data, the proposed algorithm incorporates an architecture capable of extracting both local and global features by inserting a transformer encoder after the one-dimensional convolutional neural network (1D-CNN) backbone in the data value estimator. In addition, the 1D-CNN-based stacking ensemble structure, which exhibits excellent efficiency and performance on IMU-based HAR data, is used as a predictor to supervise model training. The Berg balance scale (BBS) IMU-based HAR dataset and the public datasets, UCI-HAR, WISDM, and PAMAP2, are used for performance evaluation in this study. The valuation performance of the proposed algorithm is observed to be excellent on IMU-based HAR data. The rate of discovering corrupted data is higher than 96% on all datasets. Planetary soft landing has been studied extensively due to its promising application prospects. In this paper, a soft landing control algorithm based on deep reinforcement learning (DRL) with good convergence property is proposed. First, the soft landing problem of the powered descent phase is formulated and the theoretical basis of Reinforcement Learning (RL) used in this paper is introduced. Second, to make it easier to converge, a reward function is designed to include process rewards like velocity tracking reward, solving the problem of sparse reward. Then, by including the fuel consumption penalty and constraints violation penalty, the lander can learn to achieve velocity tracking goal while saving fuel and keeping attitude angle within safe ranges. Then, simulations of training are carried out under the frameworks of Deep deterministic policy gradient (DDPG), Twin Delayed DDPG (TD3), and Soft Actor Critic (SAC), respectively, which are of the classical RL frameworks, and all converged. In an autonomous vehicle, the lane following algorithm is an important component, which is a basic function of autonomous driving. However, the existing lane following system has a few shortcomings: first, the control method it adopts requires an accurate system model, and different vehicles have different parameters, which needs a lot of parameter calibration work. The second is that it may fail on road sections where the lateral acceleration requirements of vehicles are large, such as large curves. Third, its decision-making system is defined based on rules, which has disadvantages: it is difficult to formulate; human subjective factors cannot guarantee objectivity; coverage is difficult to guarantee. In recent years, the deep deterministic policy gradient (DDPG) algorithm has been widely used in the field of autonomous driving due to its strong nonlinear fitting ability and generalization performance. However, the DDPG algorithm has overestimated state action values and large cumulative errors, low training efficiency and other issues. Therefore, this paper improves the DDPG algorithm based on the double critic networks and priority experience replay mechanism. The demand for bandwidth-intensive and delay-sensitive services is surging daily with the development of 5G technology, resulting in fierce competition for scarce radio resources. Power domain Nonorthogonal Multiple Access (NOMA) technologies can dramatically improve system capacity and spectrum efficiency. Unlike existing NOMA scheduling that mainly focuses on fairness, this paper proposes a power control solution for uplink hybrid OMA and PD-NOMA in dual dynamic environments: dynamic and imperfect channel information together with the random user-specific hierarchical quality of service (QoS). This paper models the power control problem as a nonconvex stochastic, which aims to maximize system energy efficiency while guaranteeing hierarchical user QoS requirements. Then, the problem is formulated as a partially observable Markov decision process (POMDP). Owing to the difficulty of modeling time-varying scenes, the urgency of fast convergency, the adaptability in a dynamic environment, and the continuity of the variables, a Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL)-based method is proposed. This paper also transforms the hierarchical QoS constraint under the NOMA serial interference cancellation (SIC) scene to fit DRL. The simulation results verify the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed algorithm under a dual uncertain environment. Wireless networking using GHz or THz spectra has encouraged mobile service providers to deploy small cells to improve link quality and cell capacity using mmWave backhaul links. As green networking for less CO2 emission is mandatory to confront global climate change, we need energy efficient network management for such denser small-cell heterogeneous networks (HetNets) that already suffer from observable power consumption. We establish a dual-objective optimization model that minimizes energy consumption by switching off unused small cells while maximizing user throughput, which is a mixed integer linear problem (MILP). Recently, the deep reinforcement learning (DRL) algorithm has been applied to many NP-hard problems of the wireless networking field, such as radio resource allocation, association and power saving, which can induce a near-optimal solution with fast inference time as an online solution. In this paper, we investigate the feasibility of the DRL algorithm for a dual-objective problem, energy efficient routing and throughput maximization, which has not been explored before. We propose a proximal policy (PPO)-based multi-objective algorithm using the actor-critic model that is realized as an optimistic linear support framework in which the PPO algorithm searches for feasible solutions iteratively. In the task of interactive image segmentation, the Inside-Outside Guidance (IOG) algorithm has demonstrated superior segmentation performance leveraging Inside-Outside Guidance information. Nevertheless, we observe that the inconsistent input between training and testing when selecting the inside point will result in significant performance degradation. In this paper, a deep reinforcement learning framework, named Inside Point Localization Network (IPL-Net), is proposed to infer the suitable position for the inside point to help the IOG algorithm. Concretely, when a user first clicks two outside points at the symmetrical corner locations of the target object, our proposed system automatically generates the sequence of movement to localize the inside point. We then perform the IOG interactive segmentation method for precisely segmenting the target object of interest. The inside point localization problem is difficult to define as a supervised learning framework because it is expensive to collect image and their corresponding inside points. Therefore, we formulate this problem as Markov Decision Process (MDP) and then optimize it with Dueling Double Deep Q-Network (D3QN). How to operate an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) safely and efficiently in an interactive environment is challenging. A large amount of research has been devoted to improve the intelligence of a UAV while performing a mission, where finding an optimal maneuver decision-making policy of the UAV has become one of the key issues when we attempt to enable the UAV autonomy. In this paper, we propose a maneuver decision-making algorithm based on deep reinforcement learning, which generates efficient maneuvers for a UAV agent to execute the airdrop mission autonomously in an interactive environment. Particularly, the training set of the learning algorithm by the Prioritized Experience Replay is constructed, that can accelerate the convergence speed of decision network training in the algorithm. Since path planning for multi-arm manipulators is a complicated high-dimensional problem, effective and fast path generation is not easy for the arbitrarily given start and goal locations of the end effector. Especially, when it comes to deep reinforcement learning-based path planning, high-dimensionality makes it difficult for existing reinforcement learning-based methods to have efficient exploration which is crucial for successful training. The recently proposed soft actor–critic (SAC) is well known to have good exploration ability due to the use of the entropy term in the objective function. Motivated by this, in this paper, a SAC-based path planning algorithm is proposed. The hindsight experience replay (HER) is also employed for sample efficiency and configuration space augmentation is used in order to deal with complicated configuration space of the multi-arms. To show the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm, both simulation and experiment results are given. Multiple unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) collaboration has great potential. To increase the intelligence and environmental adaptability of multi-UAV control, we study the application of deep reinforcement learning algorithms in the field of multi-UAV cooperative control. Aiming at the problem of a non-stationary environment caused by the change of learning agent strategy in reinforcement learning in a multi-agent environment, the paper presents an improved multiagent reinforcement learning algorithm—the multiagent joint proximal policy optimization (MAJPPO) algorithm with the centralized learning and decentralized execution. This algorithm uses the moving window averaging method to make each agent obtain a centralized state value function, so that the agents can achieve better collaboration. The improved algorithm enhances the collaboration and increases the sum of reward values obtained by the multiagent system. To evaluate the performance of the algorithm, we use the MAJPPO algorithm to complete the task of multi-UAV formation and the crossing of multiple-obstacle environments. To simplify the control complexity of the UAV, we use the six-degree of freedom and 12-state equations of the dynamics model of the UAV with an attitude control loop. Transfer learning can enhance classification performance of a target domain with insufficient training data by utilizing knowledge relating to the target domain from source domain. Nowadays, it is common to see two or more source domains available for knowledge transfer, which can improve performance of learning tasks in the target domain. However, the classification performance of the target domain decreases due to mismatching of probability distribution. Recent studies have shown that deep learning can build deep structures by extracting more effective features to resist the mismatching. In this paper, we propose a new multi-source deep transfer neural network algorithm, MultiDTNN, based on convolutional neural network and multi-source transfer learning. In MultiDTNN, joint probability distribution adaptation (JPDA) is used for reducing the mismatching between source and target domains to enhance features transferability of the source domain in deep neural networks. Then, the convolutional neural network is trained by utilizing the datasets of each source and target domain to obtain a set of classifiers. Finally, the designed selection strategy selects classifier with the smallest classification error on the target domain from the set to assemble the MultiDTNN framework. It is crucial for robots to autonomously steer in complex environments safely without colliding with any obstacles. Compared to conventional methods, deep reinforcement learning-based methods are able to learn from past experiences automatically and enhance the generalization capability to cope with unseen circumstances. Therefore, we propose an end-to-end deep reinforcement learning algorithm in this paper to improve the performance of autonomous steering in complex environments. By embedding a branching noisy dueling architecture, the proposed model is capable of deriving steering commands directly from raw depth images with high efficiency. Specifically, our learning-based approach extracts the feature representation from depth inputs through convolutional neural networks and maps it to both linear and angular velocity commands simultaneously through different streams of the network. Moreover, the training framework is also meticulously designed to improve the learning efficiency and effectiveness. It is worth noting that the developed system is readily transferable from virtual training scenarios to real-world deployment without any fine-tuning by utilizing depth images. The proposed method is evaluated and compared with a series of baseline methods in various virtual environments. Experimental results demonstrate the superiority of the proposed model in terms of average reward, learning efficiency, success rate as well as computational time.
