In recent decades, plural logic has established itself as a well-respected member of the extensions of first-order classical logic. In the present paper, I draw attention to the fact that among the examples that are commonly given in order to motivate the need for this new logical system, there are some in which the elements of the plurality in question are internally singularized (e.g. 'Whitehead and Russell wrote Principia Mathematica'), while in others they are not (e.g. 'Some philosophers wrote Principia Mathematica'). Then, building on previous work, I point to a subsystem of plural logic in which inferences concerning examples of the first type can be adequately dealt with. I notice that such a subsystem (here called 'discrete plural logic') is in reality a mere variant of first-order logic as standardly formulated, and highlight the fact that it is axiomatizable while full plural logic is not. Finally, I urge that greater attention be paid to discrete plural logic and that discrete plurals are not used in order to motivate the introduction of full-fledged plural logic--or, at least, not without remarking that they can also be adequately dealt with in a considerably simpler system. In this paper, we consider new subclasses TSn(μ, a, b, ℓ, τ, γ) and TRn(μ, a, b, ℓ, τ, γ) of analytic univalent functions defined by Erdelyi-Kober integral operator. We obtain coefficient inequalities, inclusion relationships involving the (n, δ)-neighborhoods, partial sums and integral mean inequalities for the functions that belongs to these classes. In this paper, we consider the relative significance of concrete and abstract features for the identity and persistence of a group. The theoretical background for our analysis is the position according to which groups are realizations of structures. Our main argument is that the relative significance of the abstract features (structural organization of the group) with respect to the significance of concrete features (the group's members) can vary across different types of groups. This paper is a continuation of our work on hypernear-rings with a defect of distributivity D. In particular, here we introduce and study a new subclass of hypernear-rings, called D -division hypernear-rings, establishing a necessary and sufficient condition such that a hypernear-ring with the defect D is a D -division hypernear-ring. The paper describes the results of quadrocopters motion properties for the control based on the inverse dynamics method and optimal control method with synthesis linear-quadratic regulator (LQR). Motion of quadrocopters is tested for composite trajectories. The new model of asymmetrical quadrocopters, taking into account the rotation and shift of one arm relative to the other, was developed. A few criteria for evaluation of the effectiveness of control methods of quadrocopters are presented in this paper. The present paper considers a new model for the formation of the dynamic error inertial component. It is very effective in the analysis and synthesis of measuring instruments positioned on moving objects and measuring their movement parameters. The block diagram developed within this paper is used as a basis for defining the mathematical model. The block diagram is based on the set-theoretic description of the measuring system, its input and output quantities and the process of dynamic error formation. The model reflects the specific nature of the formation of the dynamic error inertial component. In addition, the model submits to the logical interrelation and sequence of the physical processes that form it. The effectiveness, usefulness and advantages of the model proposed are rooted in the wide range of possibilities it provides in relation to the analysis and synthesis of those measuring instruments, the formulation of algorithms and optimization criteria, as well as the development of new intelligent measuring systems with improved accuracy characteristics in dynamic mode. Novel image steganalytic method used to detection of secret message in static images is introduced in this paper. This method is based on statistical steganalysis (SS), where statistical vector is composed by 285 statistical features (parameters) extracted from DCT (Discrete Cosine Transformation) domain and 46 features extracted mainly from DWT (Discrete Wavelet Transformation) domain. Classification process was realized by Ensemble classifier that was helpful in reduction of computational and time complexity. Proposed steganalytic method was verified by detection of popular image steganographic methods. In the present paper a new class of sets has been defined on a topological space. These sets have been named as extremal set. Properties of these extremal sets have been studied in terms of subsets, supersets, intersection and union of sets. It has been found that extremal sets and open sets are in general independent to each other. However in the presence of both the properties i.e. a set being both open and extremal, new characterizations of such sets arise. These characterstics have also been studied here. In this paper the existence of two positive solutions for a Dirichlet problem having a critical growth, and depending on a real parameter, is established. The approach is based on methods which are totally variational, unlike the fundamental result of Ambrosetti, Brezis and Cerami where a clever combination of topological and variational methods is used in order to obtain the same conclusion. This paper describes a methodology for uncertainty assessment for Coordinate Measuring Machine measurement of complex real work pieces from industry. The study applied two approaches (in scanning mode only) for estimating the measurement uncertainty with the support of Taguchi plan in the experiment containing five factors: scanning speed, sample density, probe configuration, scanning direction, and position of measuring object. In the first approach the uncertainty was estimated by measuring the basic geometric objects (primitives like sphere and torus) representing the decomposition of complex surfaces and in the second one a complex surface was treated as an unknown quantity. Calculated uncertainty Type A for both measurement tasks was in the range from 0.65 μm to 6.47 μm. Evaluation of the uncertainty Type B covered specifications of the machine and standard uncertainties derived from temperature effects. Total uB component was found to be in order of 0.4 μm. The purpose of the present paper is to investigate the problem of nonuniform exponential stability of evolution families on the real line using the input-output technique known in the literature as the Perron method for the study of exponential stability.
