The research groups in computer vision, graphics, and machine learning have dedicated a substantial amount of attention to the areas of 3D object reconstruction, augmentation, and registration. Deep learning is the predominant method used in artificial intelligence for addressing computer vision challenges. However, deep learning on three-dimensional data presents distinct obstacles and is now in its nascent phase. There have been significant advancements in deep learning specifically for three-dimensional data, offering a range of ways to address these issues. This study offers a comprehensive examination of the latest advancements in deep learning methodologies. We examine many benchmark models for the tasks of 3D object registration, augmentation, and reconstruction. We thoroughly analyse their architectures, advantages, and constraints. In summary, this report provides a comprehensive overview of recent advancements in three-dimensional deep learning and highlights unresolved research areas that will need to be addressed in the future. This document is a summary of a special issue of the journal Sensors, titled "Emerging AI+X-Based Sensor and Networking Technologies including Selected Papers from ICGHIT 2022–2023." The special issue features selected papers from the 10th and 11th International Conferences on Green and Human Information Technology (ICGHITs), which were held in Korea and Thailand. With the rapid development and widespread application of blockchain technology in recent years, smart contracts running on blockchains often face security vulnerability problems, resulting in significant economic losses. Unlike traditional programs, smart contracts cannot be modified once deployed, and vulnerabilities cannot be remedied. Therefore, the vulnerability detection of smart contracts has become a research focus. Most existing vulnerability detection methods are based on rules defined by experts, which are inefficient and have poor scalability. Although there have been studies using machine learning methods to extract contract features for vulnerability detection, the features considered are singular, and it is impossible to fully utilize smart contract information. In order to overcome the limitations of existing methods, this paper proposes a smart contract vulnerability detection method based on deep learning and multimodal decision fusion. This method also considers the code semantics and control structure information of smart contracts. It integrates the source code, operation code, and control-flow modes through the multimodal decision fusion method. The deep learning method extracts five features used to represent contracts and achieves high accuracy and recall rates. The experimental results show that the detection accuracy of our method for arithmetic vulnerability, re-entrant vulnerability, transaction order dependence, and Ethernet locking vulnerability can reach 91.6%, 90.9%, 94.8%, and 89.5%, respectively, and the detected AUC values can reach 0.834, 0.852, 0.886, and 0.825, respectively. This shows that our method has a good vulnerability detection effect. Simple Summary: Through gesture recognition and detection of sika deer, farmers can observe the gestures of sika deer without physical contact, providing data and technical support for the intelligent and welfare-oriented breeding of sika deer. This study is based on the YOLOv8 network model. By optimizing the convolution module, incorporating the attention mechanism, and enhancing the detection head module, a new method for detecting sika deer poses was developed. The method was assessed using four behavioral datasets, which included standing, lying, eating, and attacking. The pose-recognition accuracy of sika deer significantly improved to an average of 91.6%, laying a foundation for the health assessment and information management of sika deer. As the sika deer breeding industry flourishes on a large scale, accurately assessing the health of these animals is of paramount importance. Implementing posture recognition through target detection serves as a vital method for monitoring the well-being of sika deer. This approach allows for a more nuanced understanding of their physical condition, ensuring the industry can maintain high standards of animal welfare and productivity. In order to achieve remote monitoring of sika deer without interfering with the natural behavior of the animals, and to enhance animal welfare, this paper proposes a sika deer individual posture recognition detection algorithm GFI-YOLOv8 based on YOLOv8. Firstly, this paper proposes to add the iAFF iterative attention feature fusion module to the C2f of the backbone network module, replace the original SPPF module with AIFI module, and use the attention mechanism to adjust the feature channel adaptively. This aims to enhance granularity, improve the model's recognition, and enhance understanding of sika deer behavior in complex scenes. Secondly, a novel convolutional neural network module is introduced to improve the efficiency and accuracy of feature extraction, while preserving the model's depth and diversity. In addition, a new attention mechanism module is proposed to expand the receptive field and simplify the model. Furthermore, a new pyramid network and an optimized detection head module are presented to improve the recognition and interpretation of sika deer postures in intricate environments. The experimental results demonstrate that the model achieves 91.6% accuracy in recognizing the posture of sika deer, with a 6% improvement in accuracy and a 4.6% increase in mAP50 compared to YOLOv8n. Compared to other models in the YOLO series, such as YOLOv5n, YOLOv7-tiny, YOLOv8n, YOLOv8s, YOLOv9, and YOLOv10, this model exhibits higher accuracy, and improved mAP50 and mAP50-95 values. The overall performance is commendable, meeting the requirements for accurate and rapid identification of the posture of sika deer. Monitoring aircraft using synthetic aperture radar (SAR) images is a very important task. Given its coherent imaging characteristics, there is a large amount of speckle interference in the image. This phenomenon leads to the scattering information of aircraft targets being masked in SAR images, which is easily confused with background scattering points. Therefore, automatic detection of aircraft targets in SAR images remains a challenging task. For this task, this paper proposes a framework for speckle reduction preprocessing of SAR images, followed by the use of an improved deep learning method to detect aircraft in SAR images. Firstly, to improve the problem of introducing artifacts or excessive smoothing in speckle reduction using total variation (TV) methods, this paper proposes a new nonconvex total variation (NTV) method. This method aims to ensure the effectiveness of speckle reduction while preserving the original scattering information as much as possible. Next, we present a framework for aircraft detection based on You Only Look Once v8 (YOLOv8) for SAR images. Therefore, the complete framework is called SAR-NTV-YOLOv8. Meanwhile, a high-resolution small target feature head is proposed to mitigate the impact of scale changes and loss of depth feature details on detection accuracy. Then, an efficient multi-scale attention module was proposed, aimed at effectively establishing short-term and long-term dependencies between feature grouping and multi-scale structures. In addition, the progressive feature pyramid network was chosen to avoid information loss or degradation in multi-level transmission during the bottom-up feature extraction process in Backbone. Sufficient comparative experiments, speckle reduction experiments, and ablation experiments are conducted on the SAR-Aircraft-1.0 and SADD datasets. Rapid advancements in satellite technology have led to a significant increase in high-resolution remote sensing (RS) images, necessitating the use of advanced processing methods. Additionally, patent analysis revealed a substantial increase in deep learning and machine learning applications in remote sensing, highlighting the growing importance of these technologies. Therefore, this paper introduces the Kolmogorov-Arnold Network (KAN) model to remote sensing to enhance efficiency and performance in RS applications. We conducted several experiments to validate KAN's applicability, starting with the EuroSAT dataset, where we combined the KAN layer with multiple pre-trained CNN models. Optimal performance was achieved using ConvNeXt, leading to the development of the KonvNeXt model. KonvNeXt was evaluated on the Optimal-31, AID, and Merced datasets for validation and achieved accuracies of 90.59%, 94.1%, and 98.1%, respectively. The model also showed fast processing speed, with the Optimal-31 and Merced datasets completed in 107.63 s each, while the bigger and more complicated AID dataset took 545.91 s. This result is meaningful since it achieved faster speeds and comparable accuracy compared to the existing study, which utilized VIT and proved KonvNeXt's applicability for remote sensing classification tasks. Furthermore, we investigated the model's interpretability by utilizing Occlusion Sensitivity, and by displaying the influential regions, we validated its potential use in a variety of domains, including medical imaging and weather forecasting. Acoustic emission (AE) technology, as a non-destructive testing methodology, is extensively utilized to monitor various materials' structural integrity. However, AE signals captured during experimental processes are often tainted with assorted noise factors that degrade the signal clarity and integrity, complicating precise analytical evaluations of the experimental outcomes. In response to these challenges, this paper introduces an unsupervised deep learning-based denoising model tailored for AE signals. It juxtaposes its efficacy against established methods, such as wavelet packet denoising, Hilbert transform denoising, and complete ensemble empirical mode decomposition with adaptive noise denoising. The results demonstrate that the unsupervised skip autoencoder model exhibits substantial potential in noise reduction, marking a significant advancement in AE signal processing. Subsequently, the paper focuses on applying this advanced denoising technique to AE signals collected during the tensile testing of steel fiber-reinforced concrete (SFRC), the tensile testing of steel, and flexural experiments of reinforced concrete beam, and it meticulously discusses the variations in the waveform and the spectrogram of the original signal and the signal after noise reduction. Non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques play a crucial role in industrial production, aerospace, healthcare, and the inspection of special equipment, serving as an indispensable part of assessing the safety condition of pressure equipment. Among these, the analysis of NDT data stands as a critical link in evaluating equipment safety. In recent years, object detection techniques have gradually been applied to the analysis of NDT data in pressure equipment inspection, yielding significant results. This paper comprehensively reviews the current applications and development trends of object detection algorithms in NDT technology for pressure-bearing equipment, focusing on algorithm selection, data augmentation, and intelligent defect recognition based on object detection algorithms. Additionally, it explores open research challenges of integrating GAN-based data augmentation and unsupervised learning to further enhance the intelligent application and performance of object detection technology in NDT for pressure-bearing equipment while discussing techniques and methods to improve the interpretability of deep learning models. Finally, by summarizing current research and offering insights for future directions, this paper aims to provide researchers and engineers with a comprehensive perspective to advance the application and development of object detection technology in NDT for pressure-bearing equipment. Defect detection constitutes one of the most crucial processes in industrial production. With a continuous increase in the number of defect categories and samples, the defect detection model underpinned by deep learning finds it challenging to expand to new categories, and the accuracy and real-time performance of product defect detection are also confronted with severe challenges. This paper addresses the problem of insufficient detection accuracy of existing lightweight models on resource-constrained edge devices by presenting a new lightweight YoloV5 model, which integrates four modules, SCDown, GhostConv, RepNCSPELAN4, and ScalSeq. Here, this paper abbreviates it as SGRS-YoloV5n. Through the incorporation of these modules, the model notably enhances feature extraction and computational efficiency while reducing the model size and computational load, making it more conducive for deployment on edge devices. Furthermore, a cloud-edge collaborative defect detection system is constructed to improve detection accuracy and efficiency through initial detection by edge devices, followed by additional inspection by cloud servers. An incremental learning mechanism is also introduced, enabling the model to adapt promptly to new defect categories and update its parameters accordingly. Experimental results reveal that the SGRS-YoloV5n model exhibits superior detection accuracy and real-time performance, validating its value and stability for deployment in resource-constrained environments. The identification of gas leakages is a significant factor to be taken into consideration in various industries such as coal mines, chemical industries, etc., as well as in residential applications. In order to reduce damage to the environment as well as human lives, early detection and gas type identification are necessary. The main focus of this paper is multimodal gas data that were obtained simultaneously by using multiple sensors for gas detection and a thermal imaging camera. As the reliability and sensitivity of low-cost sensors are less, they are not suitable for gas detection over long distances. In order to overcome the drawbacks of relying just on sensors to identify gases, a thermal camera capable of detecting temperature changes is also used in the collection of the current multimodal dataset The multimodal dataset comprises 6400 samples, including smoke, perfume, a combination of both, and neutral environments. In this paper, convolutional neural networks (CNNs) are trained on thermal image data, utilizing variants such as bidirectional long–short-term memory (Bi-LSTM), dense LSTM, and a fusion of both datasets to effectively classify comma separated value (CSV) data from gas sensors. The dataset can be used as a valuable source for research scholars and system developers to improvise their artificial intelligence (AI) models used for gas leakage detection. In pediatric rehabilitation medicine, manual assessment methods for visual–motor integration result in inconsistent scoring standards. To address these issues, incorporating artificial intelligence (AI) technology is a feasible approach that can reduce time and improve accuracy. Existing research on visual–motor integration scoring has proposed a framework based on convolutional neural networks (CNNs) for the Beery–Buktenica developmental test of visual–motor integration. However, as the number of training questions increases, the accuracy of this framework significantly decreases. This paper proposes a new architecture to reduce the number of features, channels, and overall model complexity. The architectureoptimizes input features by concatenating question numbers with answer features and selecting appropriate channel ratios and optimizes the output vector by designing the task as a multi-class classification. This paper also proposes a model named improved DenseNet. After experimentation, DenseNet201 was identified as the most suitable pre-trained model for this task and was used as the backbone architecture for improved DenseNet. Additionally, new fully connected layers were added for feature extraction and classification, allowing for specialized feature learning. The architecture can provide reasons for unscored results based on prediction results and decoding rules, offering directions for children's training. The final experimental results show that the proposed new architecture improves the accuracy of scoring 6 question graphics by 12.8% and 12 question graphics by 20.14% compared to the most relevant literature. The accuracy of the proposed new architecture surpasses the model frameworks of the most relevant literature, demonstrating the effectiveness of this approach in improving scoring accuracy and stability. Traffic prediction is crucial for transportation management and user convenience. With the rapid development of deep learning techniques, numerous models have emerged for traffic prediction. Recurrent Neural Networks (RNNs) are extensively utilized as representative predictive models in this domain. This paper comprehensively reviews RNN applications in traffic prediction, focusing on their significance and challenges. The review begins by discussing the evolution of traffic prediction methods and summarizing state-of-the-art techniques. It then delves into the unique characteristics of traffic data, outlines common forms of input representations in traffic prediction, and generalizes an abstract description of traffic prediction problems. Then, the paper systematically categorizes models based on RNN structures designed for traffic prediction. Moreover, it provides a comprehensive overview of seven sub-categories of applications of deep learning models based on RNN in traffic prediction. Finally, the review compares RNNs with other state-of-the-art methods and highlights the challenges RNNs face in traffic prediction. This review is expected to offer significant reference value for comprehensively understanding the various applications of RNNs and common state-of-the-art models in traffic prediction. In orthopedics, bone drilling is a crucial part of a surgical method commonly carried out for internal fixation in bone fracture treatment. The primary purpose of bone drilling is the creation of holes for screw insertion to immobilize fractured parts. The bone drilling task depends on the orthopedist and surgeon's high level of skill and experience. This paper aimed to provide a summary of previously published review studies in the field of bone drilling. This review paper also presents a comprehensive review of the application of machine learning for bone drilling and as a future direction for automation systems. This review can also help medical surgeons and bone drillers understand the latest improvements through parameter selection and optimization strategies to reduce bone damage in bone drilling procedures. Apart from the review, bone drilling vibration data collected in a university laboratory experiment is also presented in this study. The vibration data consist of three different layers of femur cow bone, which are processed and classified using several deep learning (DL) methods such as long short-term memory (LSTM), convolutional neural network (CNN), and recurrent neural network (RNN). These DL methods are used in the bone drilling lab case study to prove that the layers of bone drilling are associated with the vibration signal and that they can be classified and predicted using DL methods. Lung screening is really crucial in the early detection and management of masses, with particular regard to cancer. Studies have shown that lung cancer screening, can reduce lung cancer mortality by 20–30% in high-risk populations. In recent times, the advent of deep learning, with particular regard to computer vision, demonstrated the ability to effectively detect and locate objects from video streams and also (medical) images. Considering these aspects, in this paper, we propose a method aimed to perform instance segmentation, i.e., by providing a mask for each lung mass instance detected, allowing for the identification of individual masses even if they overlap or are close to each other by classifying the detected masses into (generic) nodules, cancer or adenocarcinoma. In this paper, we considered the you-only-look-once model for lung nodule segmentation. An experimental analysis, performed on a set of real-world lung computed tomography images, demonstrated the effectiveness of the proposed method not only in the detection of lung masses but also in lung mass segmentation, thus providing a helpful way not only for radiologist to conduct automatic lung screening but also for discovering very small masses not easily recognizable to the naked eye and that may deserve attention. As a matter of fact, in the evaluation of a dataset composed of 3654 lung scans, the proposed method obtains an average precision of 0.757 and an average recall of 0.738 in the classification task. Additionally, it reaches an average mask precision of 0.75 and an average mask recall of 0.733. These results indicate that the proposed method is capable of not only classifying masses as nodules, cancer, and adenocarcinoma, but also effectively segmenting the areas, thereby performing instance segmentation. Although deep learning (DL) algorithms have been proved to be effective in diverse research domains, their application in developing models for tabular data remains limited. Models trained on tabular data demonstrate higher efficacy using traditional machine learning models than DL models, which are largely attributed to the size and structure of tabular datasets and the specific application contexts in which they are utilized. Thus, the primary objective of this paper is to propose a method to use the supremacy of Stacked Bidirectional LSTM (Long Short-Term Memory) deep learning algorithms in pattern discovery incorporating tabular data with customized 3D tensor modeling in feeding neural networks. Our findings are empirically validated using six diverse, publicly available datasets each varying in size and learning objectives. This paper proves that the proposed model based on time-sequence DL algorithms, which were generally described as inadequate when dealing with tabular data, yields satisfactory results and competes effectively with other algorithms specifically designed for tabular data. An additional benefit of this approach is its ability to preserve simplicity while ensuring fast model training also with large datasets. In this paper, we propose a representation of the visual information about Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) video games using an adapted unsupervised deep learning architecture called Convolutional Accordion Auto-Encoder (Conv_A2E). Our study includes a presentation of current representations of MOBA video game information and why our proposal offers a novel and useful solution to this task. This approach aims to achieve dimensional reduction and refined feature extraction of the visual data. To enhance the model's performance, we tested several attention mechanisms for computer vision, evaluating algorithms from the channel attention and spatial attention families, and their combination. Through experimentation, we found that the best reconstruction of the visual information with the Conv_A2E was achieved when using a spatial attention mechanism, deformable convolution, as its mean squared error (MSE) during testing was the lowest, reaching a value of 0.003893, which means that its dimensional reduction is the most generalist and representative for this case study. In order to address the challenge of the small-scale, small-target, and complex scenes often encountered in offshore remote sensing image datasets, this paper employs an interpolation method to achieve super-resolution-assisted target detection. This approach aligns with the logic of popular GANs and generative diffusion networks in terms of super-resolution but is more lightweight. Additionally, the image count is expanded fivefold by supplementing the dataset with DOTA and data augmentation techniques. Framework-wise, based on the Faster R-CNN model, the combination of a residual backbone network and pyramid balancing structure enables our model to adapt to the characteristics of small-target scenarios. Moreover, the attention mechanism, random anchor re-selection strategy, and the strategy of replacing quantization operations with bilinear interpolation further enhance the model's detection capability at a low cost. Ablation experiments and comparative experiments show that, with a simple backbone, the algorithm in this paper achieves a mAP of 71.2% on the dataset, an improvement in accuracy of about 10% compared to the Faster R-CNN algorithm. This paper proposes a deep learning-based intelligent detection device for insulation pull rod defects, addressing the issues of low detection accuracy, poor timeliness of intelligent analysis, and the difficulty in preserving detection results. Firstly, by constructing the pull rod defects dataset and training the YOLOv5s network, along with commonly used object detection algorithms in industrial defect detection, the feasibility of deep learning networks for insulation pull rod defects detection is explored. Secondly, the trained model is combined to build an intelligent detection device for pull rod defects, integrating insulation pull rod image acquisition and defect detection into a unified system. The research results demonstrate that the YOLOv5s network can quickly and accurately detect pull rod defects. On the test set constructed in this paper, the detection performance metric mAP@0.5:0.95 of the trained model reached 54.7%. Specifically, the mAP@0.5 score was 86.9% at a threshold of 0.5. The detection speed FPS reached 169.5, significantly improving the detection efficiency and accuracy compared to traditional object detection algorithms. By establishing an organic connection between the image hardware acquisition device and the deep learning network, the existing problems of inefficient detection and difficult storage of detection results in pull rod defects detection methods are effectively addressed. Advances in deep learning and computer vision techniques have made impacts in the field of remote sensing, enabling efficient data analysis for applications such as land cover classification and change detection. Convolutional neural networks (CNNs) and transformer architectures have been utilized in visual perception algorithms due to their effectiveness in analyzing local features and global context. In this paper, we propose a hybrid transformer architecture that consists of a CNN-based encoder and transformer-based decoder. We propose a feature adjustment module that refines the multiscale feature maps extracted from an EfficientNet backbone network. The adjusted feature maps are integrated into the transformer-based decoder to perform the semantic segmentation of the remote sensing images. This paper refers to the proposed encoder–decoder architecture as a semantic feature adjustment network (SFA-Net). To demonstrate the effectiveness of the SFA-Net, experiments were thoroughly conducted with four public benchmark datasets, including the UAVid, ISPRS Potsdam, ISPRS Vaihingen, and LoveDA datasets. The proposed model achieved state-of-the-art accuracy on the UAVid, ISPRS Vaihingen, and LoveDA datasets for the segmentation of the remote sensing images. Simple Summary: In the process of large-scale cage chicken breeding, using inspection robots instead of manual detection can solve the problems of large workload and low detection efficiency. However, poor driving stability of an inspection robot will lead to low inspection accuracy. In order to ensure high efficiency, accuracy, and stability of detection, this study takes the stability of visual navigation for inspection robots as the optimization goal, and designs an efficient and accurate road extraction algorithm and a navigation line fitting algorithm with better robustness. The experimental results show that the algorithm proposed in this study can improve the stability of detection, achieve a faster running speed, and achieve a better detection effect and a higher detection efficiency while keeping the detection effect unchanged. The navigation algorithm can accelerate the automation process of large-scale cage chicken breeding and promote the realization of fast and accurate monitoring. The speed and accuracy of navigation road extraction and driving stability affect the inspection accuracy of cage chicken coop inspection robots. In this paper, a new grayscale factor (4B-3R-2G) was proposed to achieve fast and accurate road extraction, and a navigation line fitting algorithm based on the road boundary features was proposed to improve the stability of the algorithm. The proposed grayscale factor achieved 92.918% segmentation accuracy, and the speed was six times faster than the deep learning model. The experimental results showed that at the speed of 0.348 m/s, the maximum deviation of the visual navigation was 4 cm, the average deviation was 1.561 cm, the maximum acceleration was 1.122 m/s2, and the average acceleration was 0.292 m/s2, with the detection number and accuracy increased by 21.125% and 1.228%, respectively. Compared with inertial navigation, visual navigation can significantly improve the navigation accuracy and stability of the inspection robot and lead to better inspection effects. Simple Summary: Through the non-destructive recognition and tracking algorithm of multi-objective behaviors of beef cattle, practitioners are able to obtain beef cattle feeding information in an all-round way, which lays the foundation for intelligent farming. This paper utilizes deep learning algorithms to achieve the identification and tracking of multi-object behaviors in beef cattle, as follows: (1) The beef cattle behavior detection module is based on the YOLOv8n algorithm. Initially, a dynamic snake convolution module is introduced to enhance the ability to extract key features of beef cattle behaviors and expand the model's receptive field. Subsequently, the BiFormer attention mechanism is incorporated to integrate high-level and low-level feature information, dynamically and sparsely learning the behavioral features of beef cattle. The improved YOLOv8n_BiF_DSC algorithm achieves an identification accuracy of 93.6% for nine behaviors, including standing, lying, mounting, fighting, licking, eating, drinking, working, and searching, with average 50 and 50:95 precisions of 96.5% and 71.5%, showing an improvement of 5.3%, 5.2%, and 7.1% over the original YOLOv8n. (2) The beef cattle multi-object tracking module is based on the Deep SORT algorithm. Initially, the detector is replaced with YOLOv8n_BiF_DSC to enhance detection accuracy. Subsequently, the re-identification network model is switched to ResNet18 to enhance the tracking algorithm's capability to gather appearance information. Finally, the trajectory generation and matching process of the Deep SORT algorithm is optimized with secondary IOU matching to reduce ID mismatching errors during tracking. Experimentation with five different complexity levels of test video sequences shows improvements in IDF1, IDS, MOTA, and MOTP, among other metrics, with IDS reduced by 65.8% and MOTA increased by 2%. Accurate and reliable PV power probabilistic-forecasting results can help grid operators and market participants better understand and cope with PV energy volatility and uncertainty and improve the efficiency of energy dispatch and operation, which plays an important role in application scenarios such as power market trading, risk management, and grid scheduling. In this paper, an innovative deep learning quantile regression ultra-short-term PV power-forecasting method is proposed. This method employs a two-branch deep learning architecture to forecast the conditional quantile of PV power; one branch is a QR-based stacked conventional convolutional neural network (QR_CNN), and the other is a QR-based temporal convolutional network (QR_TCN). The stacked CNN is used to focus on learning short-term local dependencies in PV power sequences, and the TCN is used to learn long-term temporal constraints between multi-feature data. These two branches extract different features from input data with different prior knowledge. By jointly training the two branches, the model is able to learn the probability distribution of PV power and obtain discrete conditional quantile forecasts of PV power in the ultra-short term. Then, based on these conditional quantile forecasts, a kernel density estimation method is used to estimate the PV power probability density function. The proposed method innovatively employs two ways of a priori knowledge injection: constructing a differential sequence of historical power as an input feature to provide more information about the ultrashort-term dynamics of the PV power and, at the same time, dividing it, together with all the other features, into two sets of inputs that contain different a priori features according to the demand of the forecasting task; and the dual-branching model architecture is designed to deeply match the data of the two sets of input features to the corresponding branching model computational mechanisms. The two a priori knowledge injection methods provide more effective features for the model and improve the forecasting performance and understandability of the model. The performance of the proposed model in point forecasting, interval forecasting, and probabilistic forecasting is comprehensively evaluated through the case of a real PV plant. The experimental results show that the proposed model performs well on the task of ultra-short-term PV power probabilistic forecasting and outperforms other state-of-the-art deep learning models in the field combined with QR. Tool condition monitoring technology is an indispensable part of intelligent manufacturing. Most current research focuses on complex signal processing techniques or advanced deep learning algorithms to improve prediction performance without fully leveraging the end-to-end advantages of deep learning. The challenge lies in transforming multi-sensor raw data into input data suitable for direct model feeding, all while minimizing data scale and preserving sufficient temporal interpretation of tool wear. However, there is no clear reference standard for this so far. In light of this, this paper innovatively explores the processing methods that transform raw data into input data for deep learning models, a process known as an input paradigm. This paper introduces three new input paradigms: the downsampling paradigm, the periodic paradigm, and the subsequence paradigm. Then an improved hybrid model that combines a convolutional neural network (CNN) and bidirectional long short-term memory (BiLSTM) was employed to validate the model's performance. The subsequence paradigm demonstrated considerable superiority in prediction results based on the PHM2010 dataset, as the newly generated time series maintained the integrity of the raw data. Further investigation revealed that, with 120 subsequences and the temporal indicator being the maximum value, the model's mean absolute error (MAE) and root mean square error (RMSE) were the lowest after threefold cross-validation, outperforming several classical and contemporary methods. According to the "Notice on the release of the General Technical Specification of High-speed Railway Power Supply Safety Testing (6C System) System" issued by the National Railway Administration of China in 2012, it is required to install pantograph and slide monitoring devices in high-speed railway stations, station throats and the inlet and exit lines of high-speed railway sections, and it is required to detect the damage of the slider with high precision. It can be seen that the good condition of the pantograph slider is very important for the normal operation of the railway system. As a part of providing power for high-speed rail and subway, the pantograph must be paid attention to in railway transportation to ensure its integrity. The wear of the pantograph is mainly due to the contact power supply between the slide block and the long wire during high-speed operation, which inevitably produces scratches, resulting in depressions on the upper surface of the pantograph slide block. Focusing on the problem of identifying and classifying aero-engine models, this paper measures the infrared spectrum data of aero-engine hot jets using a telemetry Fourier transform infrared spectrometer. Simultaneously, infrared spectral data sets with the six different types of aero-engines were created. For the purpose of classifying and identifying infrared spectral data, a CNN architecture based on the continuous wavelet transform peak-seeking attention mechanism (CWT-AM-CNN) is suggested. This method calculates the peak value of middle wave band by continuous wavelet transform, and the peak data are extracted by the statistics of the wave number locations with high frequency. The attention mechanism was used for the peak data, and the attention mechanism was weighted to the feature map of the feature extraction block. The training set, validation set and prediction set were divided in the ratio of 8:1:1 for the infrared spectral data sets. For three different data sets, the CWT-AM-CNN proposed in this paper was compared with the classical classifier algorithm based on CO2 feature vector and the popular AE, RNN and LSTM spectral processing networks. The prediction accuracy of the proposed algorithm in the three data sets was as high as 97%, and the lightweight network structure design not only guarantees high precision, but also has a fast running speed, which can realize the rapid and high-precision classification of the infrared spectral data of the aero-engine hot jets. Small UAV target detection and tracking based on cross-modality image fusion have gained widespread attention. Due to the limited feature information available from small UAVs in images, where they occupy a minimal number of pixels, the precision required for detection and tracking algorithms is particularly high in complex backgrounds. Image fusion techniques can enrich the detailed information for small UAVs, showing significant advantages under extreme lighting conditions. Image registration is a fundamental step preceding image fusion. It is essential to achieve accurate image alignment before proceeding with image fusion to prevent severe ghosting and artifacts. This paper specifically focused on the alignment of small UAV targets within infrared and visible light imagery. To address this issue, this paper proposed a cross-modality image registration network based on deep learning, which includes a structure preservation and style transformation network (SPSTN) and a multi-level cross-attention residual registration network (MCARN). Firstly, the SPSTN is employed for modality transformation, transferring the cross-modality task into a single-modality task to reduce the information discrepancy between modalities. Then, the MCARN is utilized for single-modality image registration, capable of deeply extracting and fusing features from pseudo infrared and visible images to achieve efficient registration. Cables are vital load-bearing components of cable-stayed bridges. Surface defects can lead to internal corrosion and fracturing, significantly impacting the stability of the bridge structure. The detection of surface defects from bridge cable images faces numerous challenges, including shadow disturbances due to uneven lighting and difficulties in addressing multiscale defect features. To address these challenges, this paper proposes a novel and cost-effective deep learning segmentation network, named Trans-DCN, to detect defects in the surface of the bridge cable. The network leverages an efficient Transformer-based encoder and integrates multiscale features to overcome the limitations associated with local feature inadequacy. The decoder implements an atrous Deformable Convolution (DCN) pyramid and dynamically fuses low-level feature information to perceive the complex distribution of defects. The effectiveness of Trans-DCN is evaluated by comparing it with state-of-the-art segmentation baseline models using a dataset comprising cable bridge defect images. Experimental results demonstrate that our network outperforms the state-of-the-art network SegFormer, achieving a 27.1% reduction in GFLOPs, a 1.2% increase in mean Intersection over Union, and a 1.5% increase in the F1 score. Ablation experiments confirmed the effectiveness of each module within our network, further substantiating the significant validity and advantages of Trans-DCN in the task of bridge cable defect segmentation. The echo traces in the ionograms contain key information about the ionosphere. Therefore, the accurate extraction of these traces is crucial for the subsequent work. This paper transforms the original signal processing problem into a semantic segmentation task, combines it with the currently popular deep learning techniques, and proposes a multiscale Transformer network to achieve pixel-level trace extraction. To train the proposed model, we built a dataset by discretizing the original echo data, labeling, and other preprocessing work. A series of advanced semantic segmentation networks are utilized for comparative experiments. The analysis of the results indicates that the proposed network excels in performance, achieving the highest scores on key semantic segmentation evaluation metrics, including mIoU, Kappa, Dice, and AUC-ROC. Reservoir impoundment significantly impacts the hydrogeological conditions of reservoir bank slopes, and bank slope deformation or destruction occurs frequently under cyclic impoundment conditions. Ground deformation prediction is crucial to the early warning system for slow-moving landslides. Deep learning methods have developed rapidly in recent years, but only a few studies are on combining deep learning and landslide warning. This paper proposes a slow-moving landslide displacement prediction method based on the Informer deep learning model. Firstly, the Sentinel-1 (S1) data are processed to obtain the cumulative displacement time-series image of the bank slope by the Small-BAseline Subset Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (SBAS-InSAR) method. Then, combining data on rainfall, humidity, and horizontal and vertical distances of pixel points from the water table line, this study created a dataset with landslide displacement as the target feature. After that, this paper improves the Informer model to make it applicable to our dataset. This study chose the Dawanzi landslide in the Baihetan reservoir area, China, for validation. After training with 50-time series deformation data points, the model can predict the displacement results of 12-time series deformation data points using 12-time series multi-feature data, and compared with the monitoring values, its Mean Square Error (MSE) was 11.614. The results show that the multivariate dataset is better than the deformation univariate data in predicting the displacement in the large deformation zone of bank slopes, and our model has better complexity and prediction performance than other deep learning models. The prediction results show that among zones I–IV, where the Dawanzi Tunnel is located, significant deformation with the maximum deformation rate detected exceeding –100mm/year occurs in Zones I and III. In these two zones, the initiation of deformation relates to the drop in water level after water storage, with the deformation rate of Zone III exhibiting a stronger correlation with the change in water level. It is expected that deformation in Zone III will either remain slow or stop, while deformation in Zone I will continue at the same or a decreased rate. Our proposed method for slow-moving landslide displacement forecasting offers fast, intuitive, and economically feasible advantages. This review study presents a comprehensive review of the computational models used in predicting protein structure. It covers the progression from established protein modeling to state-of-the-art artificial intelligence (AI) frameworks. The section on established protein modeling will discuss homology modeling, ab initio modeling, and threading. The next section is deep learning-based models. Estimating the calorie content of fruits is critical for weight management and maintaining overall health as well as aiding individuals in making informed dietary choices. Accurate knowledge of fruit calorie content assists in crafting personalized nutrition plans and preventing obesity and associated health issues. In this paper, we investigate the application of deep learning models for estimating the calorie content in fruits from digital images, aiming to provide a more efficient and accurate method for nutritional analysis. We create a dataset comprising images of various fruits and employ random data augmentation techniques during training to enhance model robustness. We utilize the RT-DETR model integrated into the ultralytics framework for implementation and conduct comparative experiments with YOLOv10 on the dataset. Our results show that the RT-DETR model achieved a precision rate of 99.01% and mAP50-95 of 94.45% in fruit detection from digital images, outperforming YOLOv10 in terms of F1- Confidence Curves, P-R curves, precision, and mAP. Conclusively, in this paper, we utilize a transformer architecture to detect fruits and estimate their calorie and nutritional content. With the proliferation of blockchain technology in decentralized applications like decentralized finance and supply chain and identity management, smart contracts operating on a blockchain frequently encounter security issues such as reentrancy vulnerabilities, timestamp dependency vulnerabilities, tx.origin vulnerabilities, and integer overflow vulnerabilities. These security concerns pose a significant risk of causing substantial losses to user accounts. Consequently, the detection of vulnerabilities in smart contracts has become a prominent area of research. Existing research exhibits limitations, including low detection accuracy in traditional smart contract vulnerability detection approaches and the tendency of deep learning-based solutions to focus on a single type of vulnerability. To address these constraints, this paper introduces a smart contract vulnerability detection method founded on multimodal feature fusion. This method adopts a multimodal perspective to extract three modal features from the lifecycle of smart contracts, leveraging both static and dynamic features comprehensively. Through deep learning models like Graph Convolutional Networks (GCNs) and bidirectional Long Short-Term Memory networks (bi-LSTMs), effective detection of vulnerabilities in smart contracts is achieved. Understanding road conditions is essential for implementing effective road safety measures and driving solutions. Road situations encompass the day-to-day conditions of roads, including the presence of vehicles and pedestrians. Surveillance cameras strategically placed along streets have been instrumental in monitoring road situations and providing valuable information on pedestrians, moving vehicles, and objects within road environments. However, these video data and information are stored in large volumes, making analysis tedious and time-consuming. Deep learning models are increasingly utilized to monitor vehicles and identify and evaluate road and driving comfort situations. However, the current neural network model requires the recognition of situations using time-series video data. In this paper, we introduced a multi-directional detection model for road situations to uphold high accuracy. Deep learning methods often integrate long short-term memory (LSTM) into long-term recurrent network architectures. This approach effectively combines recurrent neural networks to capture temporal dependencies and convolutional neural networks (CNNs) to extract features from extensive video data. In our proposed method, we form a multi-directional long-term recurrent convolutional network approach with two groups equipped with CNN and two layers of LSTM. Additionally, we compare road situation recognition using convolutional neural networks, long short-term networks, and long-term recurrent convolutional networks. LoRa enables long-range communication for Internet of Things (IoT) devices, especially those with limited resources and low power requirements. Consequently, LoRa has emerged as a popular choice for numerous IoT applications. However, the security of LoRa devices is one of the major concerns that requires attention. Existing device identification mechanisms use cryptography which has two major issues: (1) cryptography is hard on the device resources and (2) physical attacks might prevent them from being effective. Deep learning-based radio frequency fingerprinting identification (RFFI) is emerging as a key candidate for device identification using hardware-intrinsic features. In this paper, we present a comprehensive survey of the state of the art in the area of deep learning-based radio frequency fingerprinting identification for LoRa devices. We discuss various categories of radio frequency fingerprinting techniques along with hardware imperfections that can be exploited to identify an emitter. Furthermore, we describe different deep learning algorithms implemented for the task of LoRa device classification and summarize the main approaches and results. We discuss several representations of the LoRa signal used as input to deep learning models. Additionally, we provide a thorough review of all the LoRa RF signal datasets used in the literature and summarize details about the hardware used, the type of signals collected, the features provided, availability, and size. Finally, we conclude this paper by discussing the existing challenges in deep learning-based LoRa device identification and also envisage future research directions and opportunities. By building exponential models from raw carbohydrate and insulin data to simulate the absorption in the body, the authors reported a reduction in their model's root-mean-square error (RMSE) from 15.5 mg/dL (raw) to 9.2 mg/dL (exponential) when predicting blood glucose levels one hour into the future. In this comment, we demonstrate that the experimental techniques used in that paper are flawed, which invalidates its results and conclusions. Specifically, after reviewing the authors' code, we found that the model validation scheme was malformed, namely, the training and test data from the same time intervals were mixed. This means that the reported RMSE numbers in the referenced paper did not accurately measure the predictive capabilities of the approaches that were presented. We repaired the measurement technique by appropriately isolating the training and test data, and we discovered that their models actually performed dramatically worse than was reported in the paper. Brain stroke, or a cerebrovascular accident, is a devastating medical condition that disrupts the blood supply to the brain, depriving it of oxygen and nutrients. Each year, according to the World Health Organization, 15 million people worldwide experience a stroke. This results in approximately 5 million deaths and another 5 million individuals suffering permanent disabilities. The complex interplay of various risk factors highlights the urgent need for sophisticated analytical methods to more accurately predict stroke risks and manage their outcomes. Machine learning and deep learning technologies offer promising solutions by analyzing extensive datasets including patient demographics, health records, and lifestyle choices to uncover patterns and predictors not easily discernible by humans. These technologies enable advanced data processing, analysis, and fusion techniques for a comprehensive health assessment. We conducted a comprehensive review of 25 review papers published between 2020 and 2024 on machine learning and deep learning applications in brain stroke diagnosis, focusing on classification, segmentation, and object detection. Furthermore, all these reviews explore the performance evaluation and validation of advanced sensor systems in these areas, enhancing predictive health monitoring and personalized care recommendations. Moreover, we also provide a collection of the most relevant datasets used in brain stroke analysis. The selection of the papers was conducted according to PRISMA guidelines. This paper proposes a solution to the problem of mobile robot navigation and trajectory interpolation in dynamic environments with large scenes. The solution combines a semantic laser SLAM system that utilizes deep learning and a trajectory interpolation algorithm. The paper first introduces some open-source laser SLAM algorithms and then elaborates in detail on the general framework of the SLAM system used in this paper. Second, the concept of voxels is introduced into the occupation probability map to enhance the ability of local voxel maps to represent dynamic objects. Then, in this paper, we propose a PointNet++ point cloud semantic segmentation network combined with deep learning algorithms to extract deep features of dynamic point clouds in large scenes and output semantic information of points on static objects. A descriptor of the global environment is generated based on its semantic information. Closed-loop completion of global map optimization is performed to reduce cumulative error. Finally, T-trajectory interpolation is utilized to ensure the motion performance of the robot and improve the smooth stability of the robot trajectory. The experimental results indicate that the combination of the semantic laser SLAM system with deep learning and the trajectory interpolation algorithm proposed in this paper yields better graph-building and loop-closure effects in large scenes at SIASUN large scene campus. With the continuous advancement of the economy and technology, the number of cars continues to increase, and the traffic congestion problem on some key roads is becoming increasingly serious. This paper proposes a new vehicle information feature map (VIFM) method and a multi-branch convolutional neural network (MBCNN) model and applies it to the problem of traffic congestion detection based on camera image data. The aim of this study is to build a deep learning model with traffic images as input and congestion detection results as output. It aims to provide a new method for automatic detection of traffic congestion. The deep learning-based method in this article can effectively utilize the existing massive camera network in the transportation system without requiring too much investment in hardware. This study first uses an object detection model to identify vehicles in images. Then, a method for extracting a VIFM is proposed. Finally, a traffic congestion detection model based on MBCNN is constructed. This paper verifies the application effect of this method in the Chinese City Traffic Image Database (CCTRIB). Compared to other convolutional neural networks, other deep learning models, and baseline models, the method proposed in this paper yields superior results. The method in this article obtained an F1 score of 98.61% and an accuracy of 98.62%. In the development of the Power Industry Internet of Things, the security of data interaction has always been an important challenge. In the power-based blockchain Industrial Internet of Things, node data interaction involves a large amount of sensitive data. In the current anti-leakage strategy for power business data interaction, regular expressions are used to identify sensitive data for matching. This approach is only suitable for simple structured data. For the processing of unstructured data, there is a lack of practical matching strategies. Therefore, this paper proposes a deep learning-based anti-leakage method for power business data interaction, aiming to ensure the security of power business data interaction between the State Grid business platform and third-party platforms. This method combines named entity recognition technologies and comprehensively uses regular expressions and the DeBERTa (Decoding-enhanced BERT with disentangled attention)-BiLSTM (Bidirectional Long Short-Term Memory)-CRF (Conditional Random Field) model. This method is based on the DeBERTa (Decoding-enhanced BERT with disentangled attention) model for pre-training feature extraction. It extracts sequence context semantic features through the BiLSTM, and finally obtains the global optimal through the CRF layer tag sequence. Sensitive data matching is performed on interactive structured and unstructured data to identify privacy-sensitive information in the power business. The experimental results show that the F1 score of the proposed method in this paper for identifying sensitive data entities using the CLUENER 2020 dataset reaches 81.26%, which can effectively prevent the risk of power business data leakage and provide innovative solutions for the power industry to ensure data security. Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)-based object detection methods are widely used in traffic detection due to their high flexibility and extensive coverage. In recent years, with the increasing complexity of the urban road environment, UAV object detection algorithms based on deep learning have gradually become a research hotspot. However, how to further improve algorithmic efficiency in response to the numerous and rapidly changing road elements, and thus achieve high-speed and accurate road object detection, remains a challenging issue. Given this context, this paper proposes the high-efficiency multi-object detection algorithm for UAVs (HeMoDU). HeMoDU reconstructs a state-of-the-art, deep-learning-based object detection model and optimizes several aspects to improve computational efficiency and detection accuracy. To validate the performance of HeMoDU in urban road environments, this paper uses the public urban road datasets VisDrone2019 and UA-DETRAC for evaluation. Change detection is an essential and widely utilized task in remote sensing that aims to detect and analyze changes occurring in the same geographical area over time, which has broad applications in urban development, agricultural surveys, and land cover monitoring. Detecting changes in remote sensing images is a complex challenge due to various factors, including variations in image quality, noise, registration errors, illumination changes, complex landscapes, and spatial heterogeneity. In recent years, deep learning has emerged as a powerful tool for feature extraction and addressing these challenges. Its versatility has resulted in its widespread adoption for numerous image-processing tasks. This paper presents a comprehensive survey of significant advancements in change detection for remote sensing images over the past decade. We first introduce some preliminary knowledge for the change detection task, such as problem definition, datasets, evaluation metrics, and transformer basics, as well as provide a detailed taxonomy of existing algorithms from three different perspectives: algorithm granularity, supervision modes, and frameworks in the Methodology section. This survey enables readers to gain systematic knowledge of change detection tasks from various angles. We then summarize the state-of-the-art performance on several dominant change detection datasets, providing insights into the strengths and limitations of existing algorithms. Based on our survey, some future research directions for change detection in remote sensing are well identified. Additionally, it discusses potential obstacles and constraints associated with implementing this technology in the field of ophthalmology. Through a systematic review, this research aims to assess the efficacy of machine learning and deep learning techniques in discerning AMD from different modalities as they have shown promise in the field of AMD and retinal disorders diagnosis. Organized around prevalent datasets and imaging techniques, the paper initially outlines assessment criteria, image preprocessing methodologies, and learning frameworks before conducting a thorough investigation of diverse approaches for AMD detection. Signal processing is a very useful field of study in the interpretation of signals in many everyday applications. In the case of applications with time-varying signals, one possibility is to consider them as graphs, so graph theory arises, which extends classical methods to the non-Euclidean domain. In addition, machine learning techniques have been widely used in pattern recognition activities in a wide variety of tasks, including health sciences. The objective of this work is to identify and analyze the papers in the literature that address the use of machine learning applied to graph signal processing in health sciences. A search was performed in four databases (Science Direct, IEEE Xplore, ACM, and MDPI), using search strings to identify papers that are in the scope of this review. Finally, 45 papers were included in the analysis, the first being published in 2015, which indicates an emerging area. Among the gaps found, we can mention the need for better clinical interpretability of the results obtained in the papers, that is not to restrict the results or conclusions simply to performance metrics. The efficiency of mechanical crushing is a key metric for evaluating machinery performance. However, traditional contact-based methods for measuring this efficiency are unable to provide real-time data monitoring and can potentially disrupt the production process. In this paper, we introduce a non-contact measurement technique for mechanical crushing efficiency based on deep learning algorithms. This technique utilizes close-range imaging equipment to capture images of crushed particles and employs deeply trained algorithmic programs rooted in symmetrical logical structures to extract statistical data on particle size. Additionally, we establish a relationship between particle size and crushing energy through experimental analysis, enabling the calculation of crushing efficiency data. Taking cement crushing equipment as an example, we apply this non-contact measurement technique to inspect cement particles of different sizes. Using deep learning algorithms, we automatically categorize and summarize the particle size ranges of cement particles. The results demonstrate that the crushing efficiencies of ore crushing particles, raw material crushing particles, and cement crushing particles can respectively reach 80.7%, 70.15%, and 80.27%, which exhibit a high degree of consistency with the rated value of the samples. Current stomach disease detection and diagnosis is challenged by data complexity and high dimensionality and requires effective deep learning algorithms to improve diagnostic accuracy. To address this challenge, in this paper, an improved strategy based on the Adam algorithm is proposed, which aims to alleviate the influence of local optimal solutions, overfitting, and slow convergence rates by controlling the restart strategy and the gradient norm joint clipping technique. This improved algorithm is abbreviated as the CG-Adam algorithm. The control restart strategy performs a restart operation by periodically checking the number of steps and once the number of steps reaches a preset restart period. After the restart is completed, the algorithm will restart the optimization process. It helps the algorithm avoid falling into the local optimum and maintain convergence stability. Meanwhile, gradient norm joint clipping combines both gradient clipping and norm clipping techniques, which can avoid gradient explosion and gradient vanishing problems and help accelerate the convergence of the optimization process by restricting the gradient and norm to a suitable range. In order to verify the effectiveness of the CG-Adam algorithm, experimental validation is carried out on the MNIST, CIFAR10, and Stomach datasets and compared with the Adam algorithm as well as the current popular optimization algorithms. The experimental results demonstrate that the improved algorithm proposed in this paper achieves an accuracy of 98.59%, 70.7%, and 73.2% on the MNIST, CIFAR10, and Stomach datasets, respectively, surpassing the Adam algorithm. The experimental results not only prove the significant effect of the CG-Adam algorithm in accelerating the model convergence and improving generalization performance but also demonstrate its wide potential and practical application value in the field of medical image recognition. In this paper, the effect evaluation and production prediction of staged fracturing for horizontal wells in tight reservoirs are studied. Firstly, the basic characteristics and value of horizontal wells in tight reservoirs are introduced, their geological characteristics, flow mechanism and permeability model are analyzed and the application of grey theory in effect analysis is discussed. Considering the problems of staged fracturing effect evaluation and the production prediction of horizontal wells in tight reservoirs, a BP neural network model based on deep learning is proposed. Due to the interference of multiple physical parameters and the complex functional relationship in the development of tight reservoir fracturing, the traditional prediction method has low accuracy and it is difficult to establish an accurate mapping relationship. In this paper, a BP neural network is used to simulate multivariable nonlinear mapping by modifying the model, and its advantages in solving the coupling relationship of complex functions are brought into play. A neural network model with fracturing parameters as input and oil and gas production as output is designed. Through the training and testing of data sets, the accuracy and applicability of the proposed model for effect evaluation and yield prediction are verified. The research results show that the model can fit the complex mapping relationship between fracturing information and production and provide an effective evaluation and prediction tool for the development of the staged fracturing of horizontal wells in tight reservoirs.
