The beer game is a simulation tool to present the dynamics of a system using a simplified supply chain model. In this paper the author allows a random demand pattern and five control algorithms are presented to handle the problem: 1. open loop mechanism which applies fixed reorder period and order quantity, 2. direct feed back, 3. feed back with switch gap, 4. feed back with target value, 5 forecast based feed forward.
