Chip pad inspection is of great practical importance for chip alignment inspection and correction. It is one of the key technologies for automated chip inspection in semiconductor manufacturing. When applying deep learning methods for chip pad inspection, the main problem to be solved is how to ensure the accuracy of small target pad detection and, at the same time, achieve a lightweight inspection model. The attention mechanism is widely used to improve the accuracy of small target detection by finding the attention region of the network. However, conventional attention mechanisms capture feature information locally, which makes it difficult to effectively improve the detection efficiency of small targets from complex backgrounds in target detection tasks. In this paper, an OCAM (Object Convolution Attention Module) attention module is proposed to build long-range dependencies between channel features and position features by constructing feature contextual relationships to enhance the correlation between features. By adding the OCAM attention module to the feature extraction layer of the YOLOv5 network, the detection performance of chip pads is effectively improved. In addition, a design guideline for the attention layer is proposed in the paper. The attention layer is adjusted by network scaling to avoid network characterization bottlenecks, balance network parameters, and network detection performance, and reduce the hardware device requirements for the improved YOLOv5 network in practical scenarios. Extensive experiments on chip pad datasets, VOC datasets, and COCO datasets show that the approach in this paper is more general and superior to several state-of-the-art methods. Network virtualization is a technology proven to be a key enabling a family of strategies in different targets, such as energy efficiency, economic revenue, network usage, adaptability or failure protection. Network virtualization allows us to adapt the needs of a network to new circumstances, resulting in greater flexibility. The allocation decisions of the demands onto the physical network resources impact the costs and the benefits. Therefore it is one of the major current problems, called virtual network embedding (VNE). Many algorithms have been proposed recently in the literature to solve the VNE problem for different targets. Due to the current successful rise of artificial intelligence, it has been widely used recently to solve technological problems. In this context, this paper investigates the requirements and analyses the use of the Q-learning algorithm for energy-efficient VNE. Message propagation algorithms from statistical physics are widely used in various fields of artificial intelligence, especially in solving combinatorial optimization problems. According to the related literatures of message propagation algorithm, this paper summarized the history of message propagation algorithm and its related application. According to the development of message propagation algorithm, it introduced the concepts of information propagation algorithm for solving the satisfiability problem, which mainly involved the warning propagation algorithm, the belief propagation algorithm and the survey propagation algorithm. This paper described the convergence and effectiveness research of the three kind of algorithms, summarized the application of each algorithm in related fields, and summarized the research path and application direction of message propagation algorithm. Artificial intelligence is an enabling technology for autonomous surface vehicles, with methods such as evolutionary algorithms, artificial potential fields, fast marching methods, and many others becoming increasingly popular for solving problems such as path planning and collision avoidance. However, there currently is no unified way to evaluate the performance of different algorithms, for example with regard to safety or risk. This paper is a step in that direction and offers a comparative study of current state-of-the art path planning and collision avoidance algorithms for autonomous surface vehicles. Across 45 selected papers, we compare important performance properties of the proposed algorithms related to the vessel and the environment it is operating in. We also analyse how safety is incorporated, and what components constitute the objective function in these algorithms. Finally, we focus on comparing advantages and limitations of the 45 analysed papers. A key finding is the need for a unified platform for evaluating and comparing the performance of algorithms under a large set of possible real-world scenarios. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Objective: This scoping review maps the approach undertaken by nurses to influence the implementation of artificial intelligence in health care. It also provides evidence of how frequently nurses drive the implementation of artificial intelligence, and how often nurses collaborate within the technical team. Methods: A systematic search using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines was undertaken from 24 July to 22 August 2020 to identify six records that met the inclusion criteria. Results: Nurses influenced the implementation of artificial intelligence in health care by: problem solving; articulating contextual needs and priorities; providing real-world insight and solutions; providing examples of implementation; and determining end user satisfaction. There was one instance of nurses driving implementation, and four instances of nurses collaborating with a technical team approach. Conclusion: The expertise of nurses must be sought to ensure artificial intelligence can effectively meet the highly context-specific demands of the healthcare environment. The traditional English teaching system has certain problems in the acquisition of teaching resources and the innovation of teaching models. In order to improve the effect of subsequent English online teaching, this paper improves the machine learning algorithm to make it a core algorithm that can be used by artificial intelligence systems. Moreover, this paper combines the WBIETS system to expand the system function, analyzes the needs of the English network teaching system, and constructs the system function modules and logical structure. The data layer, logic layer, and presentation layer in the system constructed in this paper are independent of each other and can be effectively expanded when subsequent requirements change. In addition, this paper solves the problem of acquiring English teaching resources through the WBIETS system. To evaluate the performance of the English network teaching system, this paper performs comprehensive mathematical and experimental analysis. • The current 3D human body reconstruction technology requires a large number of 3D scanning equipment and a complex dynamic capture process, which significantly limits its rapid adoption in these application domains. The purpose of this article is to simplify the process of 3D reconstruction. • By combining deep learning methods, an end-to-end 3D human body reconstruction framework is proposed to achieve the goal of reconstructing a high-precision 3D human body model based on RGB images. [Display omitted] In recent years, with the improvement of artificial intelligence technology, it has become possible to reconstruct high-precision 3D human body models based on ordinary RGB images. The current 3D human body reconstruction technology requires complex external equipment to scan all angles of the human body, which is complicated to be implemented and cannot be popularized. In order to solve this problem, this paper applies deep learning models on reconstructing 3D human body based on monocular images. First of all, this paper uses Stacked Hourglass network to perform convolution operations on monocular images collected from different views. Then Multi-Layer Perceptrons (MLPs) are used to decode the encoded high-level images. The feature codes in the two views(main and side) are fused, and the interior and exterior points are classified by the fusion features, so as to obtain the corresponding 3D occupancy field. At last, the Marching Cube algorithm is used for 3D reconstruction with a specific threshold and then we use Laplace smoothing algorithm to remove artifacts. This paper proposes a dense sampling strategy based on the important joint points of the human body, which has a certain optimization effect on the realization of high-precision 3D reconstruction. The performance of the proposed scheme has been validated on the open source datasets, MGN dataset and the THuman dataset, provided by Tsinghua University. Suspension bridges are critical components of transport infrastructure around the world. Therefore, their operating conditions should be effectively monitored to ensure their safety and reliability. However, the main cables of suspension bridges inevitably deteriorate over time due to corrosion, as a result of their operational and environmental conditions. Thus, accurate annual corrosion rate predictions are crucial for maintaining reliable structures and optimal maintenance operations. However, the corrosion rate is a chaotic and complex phenomenon with highly nonlinear behavior. This paper proposes a novel predictive model for the estimation of the annual corrosion rate in the main cables of suspension bridges. This is a hybrid model based on the multilayer perceptron (MLP) technique optimized using marine predators algorithm (MPA). In addition, well-known metaheuristic approaches such as the genetic algorithm (GA) and particle swarm algorithm (PSO) are employed to optimize the MLP. In order to implement the proposed model, a comprehensive database composed of 309 sample tests on the annual corrosion rate from all around the world, including various factors related to the surrounding environmental properties, is utilized. In addition, several input combinations are proposed for investigating the trigger factors in modeling the annual corrosion rate. The performance of the proposed models is evaluated using various statistical and graphical criteria. The results of this study demonstrate that the proposed hybrid MLP-MPA model provides stable and accurate predictions, while it transcends the previously developed approaches for solving this problem. Today, artificial intelligence is everywhere in people's daily lives. Visual tracking, which is used to identify and continuously track specific targets, is an important research domain in the study of artificial intelligence. However, current visual tracking methods are not accurate enough for object tracking with background clutter, which can easily lead to tracking failures. Therefore, in this paper, in order to solve the problem of tracking failure in clutter background, we propose a template update mechanism to improve the accuracy of visual tracking. First, an original template is saved when the background clutter is detected. During background clutter, we use both the original template and the current template at the location estimated by the optical flow and choose better one. Next, the original template is reused after the background clutter is ended. Finally, the proposed mechanism is used both in the KCF and BACF algorithm to verify the effectiveness of the mechanism. With experiments on the OTB2015 dataset, results show that the proposed mechanism has improved accuracy and success rate of the two baseline algorithms. Meanwhile, in state-of-the-art algorithms, the algorithm using the proposed mechanism also has excellent tracking performance. Recently, more and more real life problems are solved using artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms. One of the biggest challenges when working with AI is the selection and tuning of the best algorithm for solving the problem. The results generated by a given AI algorithm heavily depend on the way in which its hyperparameters are set. In most cases the process of algorithm selection and tuning is a manual, time consuming process in which the developer, based on experience and intuition tries to find the best solution from quality and execution time perspective. In this paper we present a method for solving the problem of AI algorithm selection and tuning, without human intervention, in a fully automated way. The method is a hybrid approach, a combination between particle swarm optimization and simulated annealing. We compare our approach with other similar tools like Auto-sklearn or Hyperopt-sklearn. We demonstrate the time efficiency and high accuracy of this method with some experiments on some known datasets. The paper also presents a platform for AI processing that include a set of procedures and services necessary in case of automatic processing of big datasets as well as the method for AI algorithm selection and tuning. This platform is useful for researchers and developers in an incipient phase of application development, when the best solution must be decided; it is also useful for specialists in different domains (physics, industry, economy) with less experience in using AI algorithms, but which has to process huge amount of data in an automated way. UAV trajectory planning is one of the research focuses in artificial intelligence and UAV technology. The asymmetric information, however, will lead to the uncertainty of the UAV trajectory planning; the probability theory as the most commonly used method to solve the trajectory planning problem in uncertain environment will lead to unrealistic conclusions under the condition of lacking samples, while the uncertainty theory based on uncertain measures is an efficient method to solve such problems. Firstly, the uncertainties in trajectory planning are sufficiently considered in this paper; the fuel consumption, concealment and threat degree with uncertain variables are taken as the objective functions; the constraints are analyzed according to the maneuverability; and the uncertain multi-objective trajectory planning (UMOTP) model is established. After that, this paper takes both the long-term benefits and its stability into account, and then, the expected-value and standard-deviation efficient trajectory model is established. What is more, this paper solves the Pareto front of the trajectory planning, satisfying various preferences, which avoids the defects of the trajectory obtained by traditional model only applicable to a certain specific situation. In order to obtain a better solution set, this paper proposes an improved backbones particle swarm optimization algorithm based on PSO and NSGA-II, which overcomes the shortcomings of the traditional algorithm such as premature convergence and poor robustness, and the efficiency of the algorithm is tested. Branching Algebra is the natural branching-time generalization of Allen's Interval Algebra. As in the linear case, the consistency problem for Branching Algebra is NP-hard. Branching Algebra has many potential applications in different areas of Artificial Intelligence; therefore, being able to efficiently solve classical problems expressed in Branching Algebra is very important. This can be achieved in two steps: first, by identifying expressive enough, yet tractable fragments of the whole algebra, and, second, by using such fragments to boost the performances of a backtracking algorithm for the whole language. In this paper we study the properties of several such fragments, both from the algebraic and the computational point of view, and we give an almost complete picture of tractable and non-tractable fragments of the Branching Algebra.
