Abstract: The article reports on the lawsuit filed by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission against Visy Industries Holdings owner Richard Platt for price-fixing. Pratt is facing four counts of providing false or misleading evidence. The agency had issued summons that require Pratt to appear in the Australian Federal Court. In October 2007, Pratt admitted that his company has formed an illegal cartel with Amcor Ltd. to inflate prices of cardboard packaging and was fined with $36 million Australian dollars.
