Purpose: To propose a new quality scoring tool, METhodological RadiomICs Score (METRICS), to assess and improve research quality of radiomics studies. Methods: We conducted an online modified Delphi study with a group of international experts. It was performed in three consecutive stages: Stage#1, item preparation; Stage#2, panel discussion among EuSoMII Auditing Group members to identify the items to be voted; and Stage#3, four rounds of the modified Delphi exercise by panelists to determine the items eligible for the METRICS and their weights. The consensus threshold was 75%. Based on the median ranks derived from expert panel opinion and their rank-sum based conversion to importance scores, the category and item weights were calculated. Result: In total, 59 panelists from 19 countries participated in selection and ranking of the items and categories. Final METRICS tool included 30 items within 9 categories. According to their weights, the categories were in descending order of importance: study design, imaging data, image processing and feature extraction, metrics and comparison, testing, feature processing, preparation for modeling, segmentation, and open science. A web application and a repository were developed to streamline the calculation of the METRICS score and to collect feedback from the radiomics community. Conclusion: In this work, we developed a scoring tool for assessing the methodological quality of the radiomics research, with a large international panel and a modified Delphi protocol. With its conditional format to cover methodological variations, it provides a well-constructed framework for the key methodological concepts to assess the quality of radiomic research papers. The past decade has witnessed the rapid development of geospatial artificial intelligence (GeoAI) primarily due to the ground-breaking achievements in deep learning and machine learning. A growing number of scholars from cartography have demonstrated successfully that GeoAI can accelerate previously complex cartographic design tasks and even enable cartographic creativity in new ways. Despite the promise of GeoAI, researchers and practitioners have growing concerns about the ethical issues of GeoAI for cartography. In this paper, we conducted a systematic content analysis and narrative synthesis of research studies integrating GeoAI and cartography to summarize current research and development trends regarding the usage of GeoAI for cartographic design. Based on this review and synthesis, we first identify dimensions of GeoAI methods for cartography such as data sources, data formats, map evaluations, and six contemporary GeoAI models, each of which serves a variety of cartographic tasks. These models include decision trees, knowledge graph and semantic web technologies, deep convolutional neural networks, generative adversarial networks, graph neural networks, and reinforcement learning. Further, we summarize seven cartographic design applications where GeoAI have been effectively employed: generalization, symbolization, typography, map reading, map interpretation, map analysis, and map production. We also raise five potential ethical challenges that need to be addressed in the integration of GeoAI for cartography: commodification, responsibility, privacy, bias, and (together) transparency, explainability, and provenance. We conclude by identifying four potential research directions for future cartographic research with GeoAI: GeoAI-enabled active cartographic symbolism, human-in-the-loop GeoAI for cartography, GeoAI-based mapping-as-a-service, and generative GeoAI for cartography. Autoregressive language models, which use deep learning to produce human-like texts, have surged in prevalence. Despite advances in these models, concerns arise about their equity across diverse populations. While AI fairness is discussed widely, metrics to measure equity in dialogue systems are lacking. This paper presents a framework, rooted in deliberative democracy and science communication studies, to evaluate equity in human–AI communication. Using it, we conducted an algorithm auditing study to examine how GPT-3 responded to different populations who vary in sociodemographic backgrounds and viewpoints on crucial science and social issues: climate change and the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement. We analyzed 20,000 dialogues with 3290 participants differing in gender, race, education, and opinions. We found a substantively worse user experience among the opinion minority groups (e.g., climate deniers, racists) and the education minority groups; however, these groups changed attitudes toward supporting BLM and climate change efforts much more compared to other social groups after the chat. GPT-3 used more negative expressions when responding to the education and opinion minority groups. Simple Summary: Breast cancer is one of the leading causes of cancer-related death in women. The early detection of breast cancer with screening mammograms plays a pivotal role in reducing mortality rates. Although population-based double-reading screening mammograms have reduced mortality by over 31% in women with breast cancer in Europe, continuing this program is difficult due to the shortage of radiologists. Artificial intelligence (AI) is an emerging technology that has provided promising results in medical imaging for disease detection. This study investigates the performance of AI models on an Australian mammographic database, demonstrating how transfer learning from a USA mammographic database to an Australian one, contrast enhancement on mammographic images and the quality of training data according to radiologists' concordance can improve breast cancer diagnosis. Our proposed methodology offers a more efficacious approach for AI to contribute to radiologists' decision making when interpreting mammography images. This paper investigates the adaptability of four state-of-the-art artificial intelligence (AI) models to the Australian mammographic context through transfer learning, explores the impact of image enhancement on model performance and analyses the relationship between AI outputs and histopathological features for clinical relevance and accuracy assessment. A total of 1712 screening mammograms (n = 856 cancer cases and n = 856 matched normal cases) were used in this study. The 856 cases with cancer lesions were annotated by two expert radiologists and the level of concordance between their annotations was used to establish two sets: a 'high-concordances subset' with 99% agreement of cancer location and an 'entire dataset' with all cases included. The area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC) was used to evaluate the performance of Globally aware Multiple Instance Classifier (GMIC), Global-Local Activation Maps (GLAM), I&H and End2End AI models, both in the pretrained and transfer learning modes, with and without applying the Contrast Limited Adaptive Histogram Equalization (CLAHE) algorithm. The four AI models with and without transfer learning in the high-concordance subset outperformed those in the entire dataset. Applying the CLAHE algorithm to mammograms improved the performance of the AI models. In the high-concordance subset with the transfer learning and CLAHE algorithm applied, the AUC of the GMIC model was highest (0.912), followed by the GLAM model (0.909), I&H (0.893) and End2End (0.875). There were significant differences (p < 0.05) in the performances of the four AI models between the high-concordance subset and the entire dataset. The AI models demonstrated significant differences in malignancy probability concerning different tumour size categories in mammograms. The performance of AI models was affected by several factors such as concordance classification, image enhancement and transfer learning. High-precision spatial-temporal wind power prediction technology is of great significance for ensuring the safe and stable operation of power grids. The development of artificial intelligence technology provides a new scheme for modeling with strong spatial-temporal correlation. In addition, the existing prediction models are mostly 'black box' models, lacking interpretability, which may lead to a lack of trust in the model by power grid dispatchers. Therefore, improving the model to obtain interpretability has become an important challenge. In this paper, an interpretable short-term wind power prediction model based on ensemble deep graph neural network is designed. Firstly, the graph network model (GNN) with an attention mechanism is applied to the aggregate and the spatial-temporal features of wind power data are extracted, and the interpretable ability is obtained. Then, the long short-term memory (LSTM) method is used to process the extracted features and establish a wind power prediction model. Finally, the random sampling algorithm is used to optimize the hyperparameters to improve the learning rate and performance of the model. Through multiple comparative experiments and a case analysis, the results show that the proposed model has a higher prediction accuracy than other traditional models and obtains reasonable interpretability in time and space dimensions. Colorectal cancer is the third most prevalent cancer worldwide, and its treatment has been a demanding clinical problem. Beyond traditional surgical therapy and chemotherapy, newly revealed molecular mechanisms diversify therapeutic approaches for colorectal cancer. However, the selection of personalized treatment among multiple treatment options has become another challenge in the era of precision medicine. Artificial intelligence has recently been increasingly investigated in the treatment of colorectal cancer. This narrative review mainly discusses the applications of artificial intelligence in the treatment of colorectal cancer patients. A comprehensive literature search was conducted in MEDLINE, EMBASE, and Web of Science to identify relevant papers, resulting in 49 articles being included. The results showed that, based on different categories of data, artificial intelligence can predict treatment outcomes and essential guidance information of traditional and novel therapies, thus enabling individualized treatment strategy selection for colorectal cancer patients. Some frequently implemented machine learning algorithms and deep learning frameworks have also been employed for long-term prognosis prediction in patients with colorectal cancer. Microgrids (MGs) have become a reliable power source for supplying energy to rural areas in a secure, consistent, and low-carbon emission manner. Power quality disturbance (PQD) is a common issue that reduces the MGs networks' reliability and restricts its usage on a small scale. The performance, reliability and lifetime of the various power devices can be affected due to the problem of PQD in the network. Researchers have proposed numerous PQD monitoring techniques based on artificial intelligence. However, they are limited to low margins and accuracy. So, this paper suggests a novel hyperparameter-tuned or optimized deep learning model with an attention-based feature learning mechanism for PQD prediction. The critical stages of the proposed work, such as data collection, feature extraction, and PQD prediction, are as follows. The PQD signals are first produced using the IEEE 1159 standard. Following that, the original time-domain features are directly recovered from the dataset, and the frequency-domain features using discrete wavelet transform (DWT). The extracted features were fed into visual geometry group 16 with multi-head attention and optimal hyperparameter-based bidirectional long short-term memory (V16MHA-OHBM) to perform spatial and temporal feature extraction. These extracted features are concatenated and given to the fully connected layer to forecast the PQD. The results showed that the suggested approach surpasses the prior state-of-the-art algorithms when trained and tested using 16 different types of synthetic noise PQD data produced using mathematical models in line with IEEE 1159. With the rapid development of object detection technology for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), it is convenient to collect data from UAV aerial photographs. They have a wide range of applications in several fields, such as monitoring, geological exploration, precision agriculture, and disaster early warning. In recent years, many methods based on artificial intelligence have been proposed for UAV object detection, and deep learning is a key area in this field. Significant progress has been achieved in the area of deep-learning-based UAV object detection. Thus, this paper presents a review of recent research on deep-learning-based UAV object detection. This survey provides an overview of the development of UAVs and summarizes the deep-learning-based methods in object detection for UAVs. In addition, the key issues in UAV object detection are analyzed, such as small object detection, object detection under complex backgrounds, object rotation, scale change, and category imbalance problems. Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) plays a critical role in many scientific and engineering applications, with aerodynamic design optimization being a primary area of interest. Recently, there has been much interest in using artificial intelligence approaches to accelerate this process. One promising method is the graph convolutional neural network (GCN), a deep learning method based on artificial neural networks (ANNs). In this paper, we propose a novel GCN-based aerodynamic design optimization acceleration framework, GCN-based aerodynamic design optimization acceleration framework. The framework significantly improves processing efficiency by optimizing data flow and data representation. We also introduce a network model called GCN4CFD that uses the GCF framework to create a compact data representation of the flow field and an encoder–decoder structure to extract features. This approach enables the model to learn underlying physical laws in a space-time efficient manner. We then evaluate the proposed method on an airfoil aerodynamic design optimization task and show that GCN4CFD provides a significant speedup compared to traditional CFD solvers while maintaining accuracy. Artificial intelligence, as a nonhuman entity, is increasingly used to inform, direct, or supplant nursing care and clinical decision‐making. The boundaries between human‐ and nonhuman‐driven nursing care are blurred with the advent of sensors, wearables, camera devices, and humanoid robots at such an accelerated pace that the critical evaluation of its influence on patient safety has not been fully assessed. Since the pivotal release of To Err is Human, patient safety is being challenged by the dynamic healthcare environment like never before, with nursing at a critical juncture to steer the course of artificial intelligence integration in clinical decision‐making. This paper presents an overview of artificial intelligence and its application in healthcare and highlights the implications which affect nursing as a profession, including perspectives on nursing education and training recommendations. Flower color is one of the most important traits in horticulture, and is one of the characteristics recorded to describe new varieties. In this paper, we examine four large real-world databases of roses and gerberas containing both images and color descriptions, and use state-of-the-art methods to automatically extract color descriptions from the images. Both Deep Learning and methods based on color histograms lead to success rates of approximately 85%. Deep learning techniques can recognize complex patterns in noisy, multidimensional data. In recent years, researchers have started to explore the potential of deep learning in the field of structural biology, including protein crystallography. This field has some significant challenges, in particular producing high‐quality and well ordered protein crystals. Additionally, collecting diffraction data with high completeness and quality, and determining and refining protein structures can be problematic. Protein crystallographic data are often high‐dimensional, noisy and incomplete. Deep learning algorithms can extract relevant features from these data and learn to recognize patterns, which can improve the success rate of crystallization and the quality of crystal structures. As an emerging desalination technology, forward osmosis (FO) can potentially become a reliable method to help remedy the current water crisis. Introducing uncomplicated and precise models could help FO systems' optimization. This paper presents the prediction and evaluation of FO systems' membrane flux using various artificial intelligence‐based models. Detailed data gathering and cleaning were emphasized because appropriate modeling requires precise inputs. Accumulating data from the original sources, followed by duplicate removal, outlier detection, and feature selection, paved the way to begin modeling. Six models were executed for the prediction task, among which two are tree‐based models, two are deep learning models, and two are miscellaneous models. The calculated coefficient of determination (R2) of our best model (XGBoost) was 0.992. In conclusion, tree‐based models (XGBoost and CatBoost) show more accurate performance than neural networks. Furthermore, in the sensitivity analysis, feed solution (FS) and draw solution (DS) concentrations showed a strong correlation with membrane flux. State-of-the-art machine learning systems now routinely exceed benchmarks once thought beyond the ken of artificial intelligence (AI). Often these systems accomplish tasks through novel, insightful processes that remain inscrutable to even their human designers. Taking AlphaGo's 2016 victory over Lee Sedol as a case study, this paper argues that such accomplishments manifest the essential features of achievements as laid out in Bradford's 2015 book Achievement. Achievements like these are directly attributable to AI systems themselves. They are artificial achievements. This opens the door to a challenge that calls out for further inquiry. Since Bradford grounds the intrinsic value of achievements in the exercise of distinctively human perfectionist capacities, the existence of artificial achievements raises the possibility that some achievements might be valueless. Diagnostic histopathology faces increasing demands due to aging populations and expanding healthcare programs. Semi-automated diagnostic systems employing deep learning methods are one approach to alleviate this pressure. The learning models for histopathology are inherently complex and opaque from the user's perspective. Hence different methods have been developed to interpret their behavior. However, relatively limited attention has been devoted to the connection between interpretation methods and the knowledge of experienced pathologists. The main contribution of this paper is a method for comparing morphological patterns used by expert pathologists to detect cancer with the patterns identified as important for inference of learning models. Given the patch-based nature of processing large-scale histopathological imaging, we have been able to show statistically that the VGG16 model could utilize all the structures that are observable by the pathologist, given the patch size and scan resolution. The results show that the neural network approach to recognizing prostatic cancer is similar to that of a pathologist at medium optical resolution. The saliency maps identified several prevailing histomorphological features characterizing carcinoma, e.g., single-layered epithelium, small lumina, and hyperchromatic nuclei with halo. A convincing finding was the recognition of their mimickers in non-neoplastic tissue. The method can also identify differences, i.e., standard patterns not used by the learning models and new patterns not yet used by pathologists. As a main electronic material, X-ray circuits are widely used in various electronic devices, and their quality has an important impact on the overall quality of electronic products. In the process of mass production of circuit boards, due to the large number of layers, tight lines and some harmful external factors, circuit board quality may be problematic. Detecting circuit board defects are important for improving the reliability of electronic products. This paper introduces deep learning and artificial intelligence technology to conduct research on the automatic detection of X-ray circuit board defects. The study used a defect detection system to study X-ray circuit boards as a detection object and obtained the structure, lighting system and composition of the detection system. The working principle of the detection system is explained, and the image is preprocessed. Testing the processing performance of the PCB defect detection system, when the number of pixels is 6526, 7028, 7530 and 8032, the time consumption ratios between the proposed detection system and image processing on a traditional PC are 35.17%, 35.4%, 35% and 35.28%, respectively. As it is widely known, big data can comprehensively describe the inherent laws governing various phenomena. However, the effective and efficient analysis of available data has become a major challenge in the fields of artificial intelligence, machine learning, data mining, and others. Deep learning, with its powerful learning ability and effective data-processing methods, has been extensively researched and applied in numerous academic domains. Nevertheless, the data obtained during the deep learning process often exhibits feature homogenization, resulting in highly redundant features in the hidden layers, which, in turn, affects the learning process. Nowadays, the issue of fluctuations in the price of digital Bitcoin currency has a striking impact on the profit or loss of people, international relations, and trade. Accordingly, designing a model that can take into account the various significant factors for predicting the Bitcoin price with the highest accuracy is essential. Hence, the current paper uses market sentiment and multiple feature extraction to present several Bitcoin price prediction models based on convolutional neural network and long short-term memory. In the proposed models, several parameters, including Twitter data, news headlines, news content, Google Trends, Bitcoin-based stock, and finance, are employed based on deep learning to make a more accurate prediction. Such parameters are the input data used to predict the Bitcoin price. Besides, the proposed model analyzes the Valence Aware Dictionary and Sentiment Reasoner sentiments to examine the market's latest news and cryptocurrencies. According to this study's various inputs and analyses, several effective feature selection methods, including mutual information regression, linear regression, correlation-based, and a combination of the feature selection models, are exploited to predict the price of Bitcoin. Finally, a careful comparison is made between the proposed models in terms of some performance criteria like mean square error (MSE), root-mean-square error, mean absolute error, median absolute error, and coefficient of determination (R2). The obtained results indicate that the proposed hybrid model based on sentiments analysis and combined feature selection with MSE value of 0.001 and R2 value of 0.98 provides better estimations with more minor errors regarding Bitcoin price. This paper studies the tactical decision-making model of short track speed skating based on deep reinforcement learning, so as to improve the competitive performance of corresponding short track speed skaters. Short track speed skating, a traditional discipline in the Winter Olympics since its establishment in 1988, has consistently garnered attention. As artificial intelligence continues to advance, the utilization of deep learning methods to enhance athletes' tactical decision-making capabilities has become increasingly prevalent. Traditional tactical decision techniques often rely on the experience and knowledge of coaches and video analysis methods that require a lot of time and effort. Consequently, this study proposes a scientific simulation environment for short track speed skating, that accurately simulates the physical attributes of the venue, the physiological fitness of the athletes, and the rules of the competition. The Double Deep Q-Network (DDQN) model is enhanced and utilized, with improvements to the reward function and the distinct description of four tactics. This enables agents to learn optimal tactical decisions in various competitive states with a simulation environment. Infectious keratitis (IK) is a major cause of corneal opacity. IK can be caused by a variety of microorganisms. Typically, fungal ulcers carry the worst prognosis. Fungal cases can be subdivided into filamentous and yeasts, which shows fundamental differences. Delays in diagnosis or initiation of treatment increase the risk of ocular complications. Currently, the diagnosis of IK is mainly based on slit-lamp examination and corneal scrapings. Notably, these diagnostic methods have their drawbacks, including experience-dependency, tissue damage, and time consumption. Artificial intelligence (AI) is designed to mimic and enhance human decision-making. An increasing number of studies have utilized AI in the diagnosis of IK. In this paper, we propose to use AI to diagnose IK (model 1), differentiate between bacterial keratitis and fungal keratitis (model 2), and discriminate the filamentous type from the yeast type of fungal cases (model 3). Overall, 9329 slit-lamp photographs gathered from 977 patients were enrolled in the study. The models exhibited remarkable accuracy, with model 1 achieving 99.3%, model 2 at 84%, and model 3 reaching 77.5%. Alzheimer's disease, often known as dementia, is a severe neurodegenerative disorder that causes irreversible memory loss by destroying brain cells. People die because there is no specific treatment for this disease. Alzheimer's is most common among seniors 65 years and older. However, the progress of this disease can be reduced if it can be diagnosed earlier. Recently, artificial intelligence has instilled hope in the diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease by performing sophisticated analyses on extensive patient datasets, enabling the identification of subtle patterns that may elude human experts. Researchers have investigated various deep learning and machine learning models to diagnose this disease at an early stage using image datasets. In this paper, a new Deep learning (DL) methodology is proposed, where MRI images are fed into the model after applying various pre‐processing techniques. The proposed Alzheimer's disease detection approach adopts transfer learning for multi‐class classification using brain MRIs. The MRI Images are classified into four categories: mild dementia (MD), moderate dementia (MOD), very mild dementia (VMD), and non‐dementia (ND). The model is implemented and extensive performance analysis is performed. The finding shows that the model obtains 97.31% accuracy. In line with the general trend in artificial intelligence research to create intelligent systems that combine learning and symbolic components, a new sub-area has emerged that focuses on combining Machine Learning components with techniques developed by the SemanticWeb community--SemanticWebMachine Learning (SWeML). Due to its rapid growth and impact on several communities in thepast two decades, there is a need to better understand the space of these SWeML Systems, their characteristics, and trends. Yet, surveys that adopt principled and unbiased approaches are missing. To fill this gap, we performed a systematic study and analyzed nearly 500 papers published in the past decade in this area, where we focused on evaluating architectural and application-specific features. Our analysis identified a rapidly growing interest in SWeML Systems, with a high impact on several application domains and tasks. Catalysts for this rapid growth are the increased application of deep learning and knowledge graph technologies. By leveraging the in-depth understanding of this area acquired through this study, a further key contribution of this article is a classification system for SWeML Systems that we publish as ontology. Background: This systematic review and meta-analysis were conducted to objectively evaluate the evidence of machine learning (ML) in the patient diagnosis of Intracranial Hemorrhage (ICH) on computed tomography (CT) scans. Methods: Until May 2023, systematic searches were conducted in ISI Web of Science, PubMed, Scopus, Cochrane Library, IEEE Xplore Digital Library, CINAHL, Science Direct, PROSPERO, and EMBASE for studies that evaluated the diagnostic precision of ML model-assisted ICH detection. Patients with and without ICH as the target condition who were receiving CT-Scan were eligible for the research, which used ML algorithms based on radiologists' reports as the gold reference standard. For meta-analysis, pooled sensitivities, specificities, and a summary receiver operating characteristics curve (SROC) were used. Results: At last, after screening the title, abstract, and full paper, twenty-six retrospective and three prospective, and two retrospective/prospective studies were included. The overall (Diagnostic Test Accuracy) DTA of retrospective studies with a pooled sensitivity was 0.917 (95% CI 0.88–0.943, I2 = 99%). The pooled specificity was 0.945 (95% CI 0.918–0.964, I2 = 100%). The pooled diagnostic odds ratio (DOR) was 219.47 (95% CI 104.78–459.66, I2 = 100%). These results were significant for the specificity of the different network architecture models (p-value = 0.0289). However, the results for sensitivity (p-value = 0.6417) and DOR (p-value = 0.2187) were not significant. The ResNet algorithm has higher pooled specificity than other algorithms with 0.935 (95% CI 0.854–0.973, I2 = 93%). Conclusion: This meta-analysis on DTA of ML algorithms for detecting ICH by assessing non-contrast CT-Scans shows the ML has an acceptable performance in diagnosing ICH. In this paper, we propose a space-time dynamic model for describing the temporal evolution of greenhouse gas concentration in the atmosphere. We use this dynamic model to develop an optimal control strategy for reduction of atmospheric pollutants. We prove the existence of optimal policies subject to control constraints. Further, we present necessary conditions of optimality using which one can determine such policies. A convergence theorem for computation of the optimal policies is also presented. The emergence of COVID-19 has broken the silence of humanity and people are gradually becoming concerned about pneumonia-related diseases; thus, improving the recognition rate of pneumonia-related diseases is an important task. Neural networks have a remarkable effectiveness in medical diagnoses, though the internal parameters need to be set in accordance to different data sets; therefore, an important challenge is how to further improve the efficiency of neural network models. In this paper, we proposed a learning exponential distribution optimizer based on chaotic evolution, and we optimized Resnet50 for COVID classification, in which the model is abbreviated as IEDO-net. The algorithm introduces a criterion for judging the distance of the signal-to-noise ratio, a chaotic evolution mechanism is designed according to this criterion to effectively improve the search efficiency of the algorithm, and a rotating flight mechanism is introduced to improve the search capability of the algorithm. In the computed tomography (CT) image data of COVID-19, the accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, precision, and F1 score of the optimized Resnet50 were 94.42%, 93.40%, 94.92%, 94.29% and 93.84%, respectively. The proposed network model is compared with other algorithms and models, and ablation experiments and convergence and statistical analyses are performed. In the current paper, the Cauchy problem for the inhomogeneous nonlinear Schrödinger equation including inverse-square potential is considered. First, some criteria of global existence and finite-time blow-up in the mass-critical and mass-supercritical settings with 0 < c ≤ c ∗ are obtained. Then, by utilizing the potential well method and the sharp Sobolev constant, the sharp condition of blow-up is derived in the energy-critical case with 0 < c < N 2 + 4 N (N + 2) 2 c ∗ . This research paper aims to demonstrate that relationships play a pivotal role in fostering inter-organizational cooperation, both at the corporate and individual levels, within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) distribution industry. Despite the extensive body of literature on relationship management, its impact on such a unique and important channel as FMCG remains undetermined. To achieve this objective, we designed a questionnaire for a survey targeting Spanish FMCG distributors, from which we collected 204 responses. We analyzed this data using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM), an emerging methodology in business research that enables us to assess the model's explanatory power and predictive capacity in understanding the relationships between various constructs. Our findings indicate the efficacy of governing inter-organizational relationships to facilitate cooperation. Additionally, we uncover links between corporate and individual relationships that contribute significantly to cooperation. In terms of practical implications for businesses, our results emphasize the importance for managers to prioritize relationships as an integral aspect of efficient channel management. This pertains to relationships within the distribution channel among partners and also individual relationships among business managers. Notably, the existing academic literature has not yet established the effectiveness of relationships in governing channels within the FMCG marketing channel, nor has it established a direct connection between inter-organizational and individual relationships among business managers. As a typical deep learning technique, Graph Convolutional Networks (GCN) has been successfully applied to the recommendation systems. Aiming at the leakage risk of user privacy and the problem of fraudulent data in the recommendation systems, a Privacy Preserving Recommendation and Fraud Detection method based on Graph Convolution (PPRFD-GC) is proposed in the paper. The PPRFD-GC method adopts encoder/decoder framework to generate the synthesized graph of rating information which satisfies edge differential privacy, next applies graph-based matrix completion technique for rating prediction according to the synthesized graph. After calculating user's Mean Square Error (MSE) of rating prediction and generating dense representation of the user, then a fraud detection classifier based on AdaBoost is presented to identify possible fraudsters. Finally, the loss functions of both rating prediction module and fraud detection module are linearly combined as the overall loss function. The experimental analysis on two real datasets shows that the proposed method has good recommendation accuracy and anti-fraud attack characteristics on the basis of preserving users' link privacy. Among all usual formats of representing 3D objects, including depth image, mesh and volumetric grid, point cloud is the most commonly used and preferred format, because it preserves the original geometric information in 3D space without any discretization and can provide a comprehensive understanding of the target objects. However, due to their unordered and unstructured nature, conventional deep learning methods such as convolutional neural networks cannot be directly applied to point clouds, which poses a challenge for extracting semantic features from them. This paper proposes a feature fusion algorithm based on attention graph convolution and error feedback, which considers global features, local features and the problem of the features loss during the learning process. Comparison experiments are conducted on the ModelNet40 and ShapeNet datasets to verify the performance of the proposed algorithm, and experimental results show that the proposed method achieves a classification accuracy of 93.1% and a part segmentation mIoU (mean Intersection over Union) of 85.4%. Artificial intelligence is increasingly becoming important to businesses because many companies have realized the benefits of applying machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) in their operations. ML and DL have become attractive technologies for organizations looking to automate repetitive tasks to reduce manual work and free up resources for innovation. Unlike rule‐based automation, typically used for standardized and predictable processes, machine learning, especially deep learning, can handle more complex tasks and learn over time, leading to greater accuracy and efficiency improvements. One of such promising applications is to use AI to reduce manual engineering work. This paper discusses a particular case within McDermott where the research team developed a DL model to do a quality check of complex blueprints. We describe the development and the final product of this case—AI‐based software for the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) industry that helps to find the design mistakes buried inside very complex engineering drawings called piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs). We also present a cost‐benefit analysis and potential scale‐up of the developed software. Our goal is to share the successful experience of AI‐based product development that can substantially reduce the engineering hours and, therefore, reduce the project's overall costs. The developed solution can also be potentially applied to other EPC companies doing a similar design for complex installations with high safety standards like oil and gas or petrochemical plants because the design errors it captures are common within this industry. Due to the drastic increase in the generation of high-quality fake images in social networking, it is essential to design effective recognition approaches. Image/video manipulation defines any set of actions which can be carried out on digital content by the use of software editing approaches or artificial intelligence. A major kind of image and video editing comprises replicating the regions of the image, named as copy-move technique. Conventional image processing methods physically search for the pattern relevant to the replicated contents, restricting the utilization in massive classification of data. Contrastingly, the recently developed deep learning (DL) models have exhibited promising performance over the traditional models. In this aspect, this paper presents a novel intelligent deep learning based copy move image forgery detection (IDL-CMIFD) technique. The proposed IDL-CMIFD technique intends to design a DL model to classify the candidate images into two classes: original and forged/tampered and then localized the copy moved regions. In addition, the proposed IDL-CMIFD technique involves the Adam optimizer with Efficient Net based feature extractor to derive a useful set of feature vectors. Moreover, chaotic monarch butterfly optimization (CMBO) with deep wavelet neural network (DWNN) model is applied for classification purposes. The CMBO algorithm is utilized to optimally tune the parameters involved in the DWNN model in such a way that the classification performance gets improved. The performance validation of the proposed model takes place on benchmark MICC-F220, MICC-F2000, MICC-F600 datasets. Atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD), which includes coronary heart disease (CHD) and ischemic stroke, is the leading cause of mortality globally. According to the European Society of Cardiology (ESC), 26 million people worldwide have heart disease, with 3.6 million diagnosed each year. Early detection of heart disease will aid in lowering the mortality rate. The lack of diversity in training data and the difficulty in comprehending the findings of complicated AI models are the key issues in current research for heart disease prediction using artificial intelligence. To overcome this, in this paper, cardiac disease prediction using AI algorithms with SelectKBest has been proposed. Features are standardized, balanced, and selected using the StandardScaler, SMOTE, and SelectKBest techniques. Machine learning models such as support vector machine (SVM), K-nearest neighbor(KNN), decision tree (DT), logistic regression (LR), adaptive boosting (AB), naive Bayes (NB), random forest (RF), and extra tree (ET) and deep learning models such as vanilla long short-term memory (LSTM), bidirectional long short-term memory (LSTM), stacked long short-term memory (LSTM), and deep neural network (DNN) are assessed using Alizadeh Sani, combined (Cleveland, Hungarian, Switzerland, Long Beach VA, and Stalog), and Pakistan heart failure datasets. As a result of the evaluation, the proposed deep neural network (DNN) with SelectKBest predicted heart disease in a promising way. The prediction rate of unweighted accuracy of 99% on Alizadeh Sani, 98% on combined, and 97% on Pakistan are gained in tenfold cross-validation experiments. The technology of big data analysis and artificial intelligence deep learning has been actively cross-combined with various fields to increase the effect of its original low single field. Precision components commonly used in electronic products use changes in the conductivity of semiconductors to process information. This study aims to review key milestones and recent developments in the semiconductor industry using artificial intelligence methods. For this systematic review, we searched academic networks between 2015 and 2022, including Nature, Elsevier, Springer, Taylor & Francis Online, Multidisciplinary Digital Publishing Institute, and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. The literature reviewed is based on conference proceedings and journal articles, specifically covering the key achievements of the discussion paper, the key technologies used, experimental results, opportunities, and future research pathways. After searching on an academic website, we selected six major studies. In five of these studies, visual object detection, surface defect detection, machine production scheduling application, fault diagnosis and prediction, and monitoring of the manufacturing process were made using artificial neural networks, machine learning methods, and hybrid models. In addition, the studies covered independent, single methods or used more than two types of technologies for performance comparison. Finally, we reviewed the strengths and weaknesses of the literature. We also analysed various datasets, acquisition systems, and experimental scenarios. The review shows that as the number of studies conducted in manufacturing continues to increase, more research is needed to unearth key information that is often overlooked, all of which are challenges in refining science and overcoming real-world scenarios. The K-complex is one of the most important and noticeable features in the electroencephalography (EEG) signal, therefore its detection is critical for EEG signal analysis. It is used to diagnose neurophysiologic and cognitive disorders as well as sleep studies. Existing detection methods largely depend on tedious, time-consuming, and error-prone manual inspection of the EEG waveform. In this paper, a highly accurate K-complex detection system is developed. Based on multiple convolutional neural network (CNN) feature extraction backbones and EEG waveform images, you only look once v3 (YOLOv3) detector was designed, trained, and tested. Extensive performance evaluation was performed using five deep transfer learning feature extraction models; Darknet-53, MobileNets, ResNet-18, SqueezeNet, and Darknet-53-coco. The dataset was comprised of 10948 images of EEG waveforms, with the K-complex location automatically annotated with bounding boxes. The Darknet-53 model performed consistently high (i.e., 89.84–99.44% precision and 10.41–0.55% miss rate). The rapid rise of artificial intelligence (AI) in medicine in the last few years highlights the importance of developing bigger and better systems for data and model sharing. However, the presence of Protected Health Information (PHI) in medical data poses a challenge when it comes to sharing. One potential solution to mitigate the risk of PHI breaches is to exclusively share pre-trained models developed using private datasets. Despite the availability of these pre-trained networks, there remains a need for an adaptable environment to test and fine-tune specific models tailored for clinical tasks. This environment should be open for peer testing, feedback, and continuous model refinement, allowing dynamic model updates that are especially important in the medical field, where diseases and scanning techniques evolve rapidly. In this context, the Discovery Viewer (DV) platform was developed in-house at the Biomedical Engineering and Imaging Institute at Mount Sinai (BMEII) to facilitate the creation and distribution of cutting-edge medical AI models that remain accessible after their development. The all-in-one platform offers a unique environment for non-AI experts to learn, develop, and share their own deep learning (DL) concepts. This paper presents various use cases of the platform, with its primary goal being to demonstrate how DV holds the potential to empower individuals without expertise in AI to create high-performing DL models. We tasked three non-AI experts to develop different musculoskeletal AI projects that encompassed segmentation, regression, and classification tasks. In each project, 80% of the samples were provided with a subset of these samples annotated to aid the volunteers in understanding the expected annotation task. Subsequently, they were responsible for annotating the remaining samples and training their models through the platform's "Training Module". The resulting models were then tested on the separate 20% hold-off dataset to assess their performance. The classification model achieved an accuracy of 0.94, a sensitivity of 0.92, and a specificity of 1. The regression model yielded a mean absolute error of 14.27 pixels. And the segmentation model attained a Dice Score of 0.93, with a sensitivity of 0.9 and a specificity of 0.99. This initiative seeks to broaden the community of medical AI model developers and democratize the access of this technology to all stakeholders. Purpose: In this paper, we present the development of a monitoring system designed to aid in the management and prevention of conditions related to urination. The system features an artificial intelligence (AI)-based recognition technology that automatically records a user's urination activity. Additionally, we developed a technology that analyzes movements to prevent neurogenic bladder. Methods: Our approach included the creation of AI-based recognition technology that automatically logs users' urination activities, as well as the development of technology that analyzes movements to prevent neurogenic bladder. Initially, we employed a recurrent neural network model for the urination activity recognition technology. For predicting the risk of neurogenic bladder, we utilized convolutional neural network (CNN)-based AI technology. Results: The performance of the proposed system was evaluated using a study population of 30 patients with urinary tract dysfunction, who collected data over a 60-day period. The results demonstrated an average accuracy of 94.2% in recognizing urinary tract activity, thereby confirming the effectiveness of the recognition technology. Furthermore, the motion analysis technology for preventing neurogenic bladder, which also employed CNN-based AI, showed promising results with an average accuracy of 83%. Conclusions: In this study, we developed a urination disease monitoring system aimed at predicting and managing risks for patients with urination issues. The system is designed to support the entire care cycle of a patient by leveraging AI technology that processes various image and signal data. Cardiovascular diseases are the leading cause of death, with many lives being affected by critical emergencies like heart attacks, strokes, and other acute conditions. Recognizing the early warning signs is crucial for highlighting the need for immediate medical attention, especially since a quick intervention may significantly improve short and long-term patient outcome. Artificial intelligence (AI) has become a key technology in healthcare, and especially in the cardiovascular field. AI, and in particular deep learning is well suited for automatically analyzing medical images, signals, and data. Municipal solid waste (MSW) management has become a highly challenging issue for many countries at different levels of development since the growth of population and urbanisation has resulted in a large increase in MSW generation. It is difficult to forecast the solid waste generated and its characteristics due to the non-linear nature of the MSW system, hence the importance of introducing artificial intelligence (AI) techniques and machine learning (ML) methods. This paper discusses a systematic literature review (SLR) on the application of AI techniques in MSW management, including waste generation prediction, waste collection and transportation and waste treatment and final disposal. The study reviewed and analysed the research studies published between 2000 and 2021, and investigated the current challenges faced by researchers in implementing AI approaches in the MSW system. It was concluded that artificial neural networks are the most used approach in various MSW-related problems. However, the lack and reliability of data are limiting the advancement of AI techniques in this field. Additionally, most studies claimed that their results are accurate and can be implemented in real-life scenarios, with an absence of a clear baseline to assess the performance of the adopted approaches. Numerous studies have been conducted using Deep Learning paradigms to detect Breast Cancer. Breast cancer is a medical condition where abnormal cells in the breast grow uncontrollably, forming tumors. If not treated, these tumors can metastasize and spread to other parts of the body, potentially leading to life-threatening consequences. In the year 2020, there were approximately 2.3 million cases of breast cancer diagnosed in women, leading to around 685,000 deaths worldwide. By the close of 2020, there existed 7.8 million women who had been diagnosed with breast cancer within the preceding five years, solidifying it as the most widespread form of cancer globally. Breast cancer is observed across all countries, affecting women at various ages post-puberty, with incidence rates tending to rise in older age groups. The aim of this paper is to classify and predict the class labels of breast cancer. To achieve this, a ResNet50 model is utilized and mammography images are employed to locate cancer within the image and classify it to emphasize the affected area. The ResNet50 identifies mass regions and classifies them as either ductal carcinoma, inflammatory, triple negative or invasive cancer. This paper proposed innovative EFDfO (Entropy Features Data Fusion Optimized) framework, a data-driven approach aimed at revolutionizing music education teaching. EFDfO combines data fusion, feature extraction, and optimization techniques to customize teaching strategies to individual students' unique learning profiles. The data related to students are collected with different sources and data were fused. The fused data are optimized with the Whale optimization technique to estimate the performance of the students. Simualtion analysis of the EFDfO demonstrates its potential to enhance student performance, with an average improvement of approximately 18% to 20% observed in pre-test and post-test scores. Moreover, the classification results indicate that, in most cases, EFDfO accurately categorizes students based on their performance and learning characteristics, although further refinement is needed to reduce misclassifications. Epilepsy is a prevalent neurological disorder with considerable risks, including physical impairment and irreversible brain damage from seizures. Given these challenges, the urgency for prompt and accurate seizure detection cannot be overstated. Traditionally, experts have relied on manual EEG signal analyses for seizure detection, which is labor-intensive and prone to human error. Recognizing this limitation, the rise in deep learning methods has been heralded as a promising avenue, offering more refined diagnostic precision. On the other hand, the prevailing challenge in many models is their constrained emphasis on specific domains, potentially diminishing their robustness and precision in complex real-world environments. This paper presents a novel model that seamlessly integrates the salient features from the time–frequency domain along with pivotal statistical attributes derived from EEG signals. This fusion process involves the integration of essential statistics, including the mean, median, and variance, combined with the rich data from compressed time–frequency (CWT) images processed using autoencoders. This multidimensional feature set provides a robust foundation for subsequent analytic steps. A long short-term memory (LSTM) network, meticulously optimized for the renowned Bonn Epilepsy dataset, was used to enhance the capability of the proposed model. Preliminary evaluations underscore the prowess of the proposed model: a remarkable 100% accuracy in most of the binary classifications, exceeding 95% accuracy in three-class and four-class challenges, and a commendable rate, exceeding 93.5% for the five-class classification. By accurate predicting of pipe bursts, it is possible to schedule pipe maintenance, rehabilitation and improve level of services in Water Distribution Networks (WDNs). In recent years, artificial intelligence techniques have been used vastly in pipe burst prediction. These techniques need big input dataset for deep learning but big dataset might not be available in old WDNs. This paper aimed to compare the performance of multivariate adaptive regression splines (MARS) and regressive convolution neural network with least square support vector regression (RCNN-LSSVR) for predicting of Pipe Burst Rate (PBR) with limited dataset. Pipes age, diameter, depth of installation, length, average and maximum hydraulic pressure are considered as effective parameters of PBR. Data collected from real-case study in Iran include 158 cases for polyethylene and 124 cases for asbestos cement pipes during 2012–2019.
