My Turn is software used to manage several Covid-19 mass vaccination campaigns in California. The objective of this article is to describe the use of My Turn at two points of dispensing in California and comment on process improvements to reduce manual tasks of six identified processes of vaccination–registration, scheduling, administration, documentation, follow-up, and digital vaccine record–and paper. We reviewed publicly available documents of My Turn and patients vaccinated at George R. Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco and Oakland Coliseum Community Vaccination Clinic. For publicly available documents of My Turn, we examined videos of My Turn on YouTube, and documentation from EZIZ, the website for the California Vaccines for Children Program. For patients, we examined publicly available vaccination record cards on Instagram and Google. At the George R. Moscone Convention Center, 329,608 vaccines doses were given. At the Oakland Coliseum Community Vaccination Clinic, more than 500,000 vaccine doses were administered. As network technology advances and more people use devices, data storage has become a significant challenge due to the explosive growth of information and the threat of data leaks. In traditional medical institutions, most medical data is stored centrally through cloud computing technology in the institution's data center. This centralized storage method has many security risks, and once the central server is attacked, it will lead to the loss of medical data, which will lead to the leakage of patients' private data. At the same time, electronic medical records are the most critical data in the current medical field. In the traditional centralized healthcare service system (HSS), there are data leakage problems and tampering with electronic medical records due to human factors. At the same time, each hospital is built independently, resulting in the current centralized healthcare service system having a data silo problem, making it difficult to share medical data between institutions securely. With the increase in the number of users in the system, the electronic medical record data in the system also increases gradually, resulting in the increasing overhead of decryption calculation. Therefore, this paper proposes a blockchain-based access control scheme with multiparty authorization to ensure the security of electronic medical records. The scheme uses an SM encryption algorithm to encrypt the medical data in the system. It adds the patient's signature to ensure the confidentiality and security of the data, and the encrypted electronic medical records (EMRs) are stored in the InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) to realize the distributed storage of EMR. In addition, role-based multiauthorization access control is implemented through smart contract-based to ensure the security of EMR. We have analyzed the security of this paper's solution and compared its performance with the existing schemes based on other cryptographic algorithms. Cloud-based electronic medical record (EMR) management system is an emerging paradigm that enables EMR owners to store and share their EMRs with intended group of healthcare personnel. And, it allows EMR users to retrieve desired records from the cloud when require. However, authentic EMR sharing and searching with security has been a challenging problem. In this paper, for the first time, we propose a searchable attribute-based signcryption for EMR storage and retrieval in cloud computing environment, termed as MediCare, that supports simultaneously the functionalities: fine-grained access control over encrypted EMRs, EMR owner authenticity and anonymity, Boolean formula-based keyword search over encrypted EMRs, keyword privacy, constant decryption cost for EMR users, non-interactive search results verification, and provably secure. We employ attribute-based framework in designing MediCare. Only authorized EMR owners can anonymously upload EMRs to the cloud, and an EMR user can search over encrypted EMRs using Boolean formula keyword policy. MediCare enables an EMR user to verify the correctness of the search results efficiently without interacting with any authority. Electronics-Health Care is one of the new ideas in the healthcare industry. For analyzing the patient's records, doctors need a centralized record of the patients, which gives useful and enormous information. Public Key Searchable Encryption (PKSE) has essential applications in cloud storage because it allows users to search over encrypted data. To identify illegal users, many traceable PKSE schemes have been proposed. However, existing schemes cannot trace the keywords that illegal users searched and protect users' privacy simultaneously. It is challenging to bind users' identities and keywords while protecting their privacy. Moreover existing traceable PKSE schemes do not consider the unforgeability and immutability of trapdoor query records which leads to frame-up and denial. In this paper, to address these problems, we propose a blockchain-based privacy-preserving PKSE with strong traceability (BP3KSEST) scheme. The main features of our scheme are as follows: (1) authorized users can obtain trapdoors from trapdoor generation center without releasing their identities and keywords; (2) When required, a trusted third party (TTP) can trace both illegal users' identities and the keywords which they searched; (3) trapdoor query records are unforgeable and immutable. This scheme is appropriate for scenarios where privacy must be addressed, e.g , electronic health record (EHR). We formalize the definition and security model of our BP3KSEST scheme. The application of medical cloud storage technology in healthcare and the sharing of electronic medical records (EMR) bring convenience for patients and medical institutes. However, two barriers limit further expansions of the above (i.e. key escrow and key abuse issues). In this paper, we construct a large universe data-sharing scheme based on attribute-based encryption. We design all attribute authorities simultaneously to participate in the key computation, and the user performs aggregation. By issuing anonymous credentials to the recipients, their identity information is protected. To achieve complete tracing of the traitor, we blend the two mechanisms, white-box traceability and black-box traceability, together. Detailed security proofs have been carried out for various types of possible attackers, and theoretical analyses have verified the security of the proposed scheme. We performed performance evaluations in conjunction with existing schemes, and numerical experience shows that the burden on the user side is also minimal. • No key escrow issues, resistant to collusion attacks among authorities. • No key abuse issues, multiple types of privilege leaks can be traced. • Large universe and anonymity, the number of attributes is unbounded. • Good trade-off between security and efficiency. The recent advancement in cloud computing and Internet of Things (IoT) paradigms, paves a way to support the patients through remote monitoring and they can enjoy their health services at home. The medical professional (MP) needs to analyze IoT health data or Electronic Health Records (EHR) from a cloud server using their authorized login credentials. However, the Cloud-IoT network is vulnerable to many malicious attacks, it is necessary to make strong user authentication. Therefore, strong user authentication is a prerequisite for a successful global deployment of centralized healthcare systems. In this paper, we present a secure, efficient authentication protocol to allow MPs to access patient data through a Cloud IoT network. The proposed protocol contains Light Weight Self-Adaptive Honey Encryption (LWSHE) for securing the Internet of Things (IoT) medical data in a cloud server. The traditional Honey encryption algorithm has a message space limitation problem which is overcome through a discrete distribution function in Distribution Transforming Encoder (DTE) which maps the plain text strings into the seed strings. In the honey encryption algorithm, our proposed honeyword generation method can eliminate storage overhead and typo safety problems. Based on the result of the security and performance comparison analysis, the proposed protocol does not only prevents the vulnerable attacks from being performed but also achieves more complex security operations and efficient user authentication. In the Attribute-Based Encryption (ABE) scheme, patients encrypt their electronic health record (EHR), attach the appropriate attributes with it, and outsource them over the cloud. Doctors get the encrypted EHR corresponding to their area of interest (attributes) from the cloud. To decrypt the received encrypted EHR, doctors get the secret keys from the key generation center (KGC). Since the KGC knows the secret keys of all the encrypted EHRs, it may decrypt patients' records. A decentralized ABE scheme overcomes this issue but requires high computation and communication costs. Moreover, in this scheme, any unauthorized doctor can access the patients' EHR. Besides, the KGC's secret keys privacy and the doctor's attribute privacy are also serious concerns. In this paper, we have proposed a comprehensive privacy-preserving e-health (CP2EH) scheme over the cloud that overcomes the problems of both unauthorized access of patient records by a doctor and a doctor's attribute privacy in an ABE scheme. In the CP2EH scheme, we have incorporated oblivious transfer (OT) and zero-knowledge proof (ZKP) protocols into the centralized ABE scheme. The OT protocol preserves KGC's secret keys privacy and the doctor's attribute privacy. The ZKP protocol preserves the patient's EHR privacy from unauthorized doctors. Results show that the CP2EH scheme is able to meet all the privacy requirements of e-health applications over the cloud at a lower computation and communication cost as compared to the existing ABE schemes. On October 31, 2021, I learned the electronic health record in my independent, solo practice had been attacked by a Russian syndicate who was holding our data and our practice management system for "ransom." An encryption key could be given to our cloud provider once $5,100,000 was delivered in bitcoin to the hacking entity. After 3 long months of negotiations, with us going back to a completely paper-based system in the interim, our cloud provider paid the Russian syndicate and access was restored. There were many lessons to be learned from our experience. We were fortunate, and through the help of many of our business associates we were able to survive and live to see another day. Due to the high amount of electronic health records, hospitals have prioritized data protection. Because it uses parallel computing and is distributed, the security of the cloud cannot be guaranteed. Because of the large number of e-health records, hospitals have made data security a major concern. The cloud's security cannot be guaranteed because it uses parallel processing and is distributed. The blockchain (BC) has been deployed in the cloud to preserve and secure medical data because it is particularly prone to security breaches and attacks such as forgery, manipulation, and privacy leaks. An overview of blockchain (BC) technology in cloud storage to improve healthcare system security can be obtained by reading this paper. First, we will look at the benefits and drawbacks of using a basic cloud storage system. After that, a brief overview of blockchain cloud storage technology will be offered. Many researches have focused on using blockchain technology in healthcare systems as a possible solution to the security concerns in healthcare, resulting in tighter and more advanced security requirements being provided. This survey could lead to a blockchain-based solution for the protection of cloud-outsourced healthcare data. Evaluation and comparison of the simulation tests of the offered blockchain technology-focused studies can demonstrate integrity verification with cloud storage and medical data, data interchange with reduced computational complexity, security, and privacy protection. Because of blockchain and IT, business warfare has emerged, and governments in the Middle East have embraced it. Thus, this research focused on the qualities that influence customers' interest in and approval of blockchain technology in cloud storage for healthcare system security and the aspects that increase people's knowledge of blockchain. One way to better understand how people feel about learning how to use blockchain technology in healthcare is through the United Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT). A snowball sampling method was used to select respondents in an online poll to gather data about blockchain technology in Middle Eastern poor countries. A total of 443 randomly selected responses were tested using SPSS. Blockchain adoption has been shown to be influenced by anticipation, effort expectancy, social influence (SI), facilitation factors, personal innovativeness (PInn), and a perception of security risk (PSR).
