Communicating the consequences of climate change and of the necessary mitigation and adaptation actions requires adherence to the knowledge and good practices proposed by the scientific community, the ability to involve students against indifference, humanity and balance to overcome "eco-anxiety". The paper highlights the difficulties of the school in tackling a topic that is not only technical but has significant ethical and political implications. Some inter-disciplinary educational activities are also proposed, which are aimed at encouraging the collaboration of teachers of scientific and humanistic subjects for a more effective treatment of the topic.
