Over the years the number of research publications per year is growing exponentially. Finding research papers of quality from the massive literature of relevant articles is a challenging and time-consuming task. The approaches in the latest literature address citation recommendation by utilizing large bibliographic information and use machine learning and deep learning methods for the task. These techniques clearly require a large amount of training data as well as machines with high processing power. To overcome these issues, we propose a novel method by modifying the popular hyperlink induced topic search (HITS), a web page ranking algorithm, as citation recommendation using hyperlink induced topic search (CR-HITS) that works on a directed and weighted heterogeneous bibliographic network containing diverse types of nodes and edges. We define effective scoring schemes for nodes and edges based on basic bibliographic information like citations of papers, number of publications of an author, etc. Given a few seed papers, the citation recommendation algorithm CR-HITS is run on small neighborhoods of the seed papers and hence the time taken by the execution is very small to yield the final recommendations. To the best of our knowledge, HITS has been used for the first time for the citation recommendation problem. We perform extensive experimentation on DBLP (version-11) and ACM (version-9) datasets and compare the results with many baseline methods in terms of MAP, MRR, and recall@N measures. The performance of the proposed algorithms is superior with respect to the MAP metric and matches the second best for the other two metrics. Since the top two algorithms use deep learning methods and use much larger bibliographic information including abstracts of the papers, we claim that our approach utilizes very low resources, yet yields recommendations that are very close to the top recommendations. As the scale and complexity of networks grow rapidly, management, maintenance, and optimization of them are becoming increasingly challenging tasks for network administrators. Software-Defined Networking (SDN) was introduced to facilitate these tasks as it offers logically centralized control, a global view of the network, and software-based traffic analysis, thus, it is widely adopted of SDN to manage large-scale networks. On the other hand, SDN is not immune to cyber attacks. In fact, its centralized architecture makes it more vulnerable to certain types of attacks, such as denial of service. Various attack mitigation strategies are proposed to strengthen the security of SDNs including statistical, threshold-based, and Machine Learning (ML) methods. Among them, Deep Learning (DL)-based models attained the best results as they were able to extract the complex relationship between input parameters and output that could not be achieved with other solutions. Hence, this paper presents a comprehensive survey of the literature on the utilization of different DL algorithms for the security of SDN. We first explain the types of attacks that SDNs are exposed to, then present papers that applied DL to detect and/or mitigate these attacks. We further discuss the public datasets used to train DL models and evaluate their advantages and disadvantages. Purpose: Artifacts in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans degrade image quality and thus negatively affect the outcome measures of clinical and research scanning. Considering the time-consuming and subjective nature of visual quality control (QC), multiple (semi-)automatic QC algorithms have been developed. This systematic review presents an overview of the available (semi-)automatic QC algorithms and software packages designed for raw, structural T1-weighted (T1w) MRI datasets. The objective of this review was to identify the differences among these algorithms in terms of their features of interest, performance, and benchmarks. Methods: We queried PubMed, EMBASE (Ovid), and Web of Science databases on the fifth of January 2023, and cross-checked reference lists of retrieved papers. Bias assessment was performed using PROBAST (Prediction model Risk Of Bias ASsessment Tool). Results: A total of 18 distinct algorithms were identified, demonstrating significant variations in methods, features, datasets, and benchmarks. The algorithms were categorized into rule-based, classical machine learning-based, and deep learning-based approaches. Numerous unique features were defined, which can be roughly divided into features capturing entropy, contrast, and normative measures. Conclusion: Due to dataset-specific optimization, it is challenging to draw broad conclusions about comparative performance. Additionally, large variations exist in the used datasets and benchmarks, further hindering direct algorithm comparison. The findings emphasize the need for standardization and comparative studies for advancing QC in MR imaging. After 70 years of intricate development, machine learning, represented by deep learning, is based on the multilevel structure of the human brain and the layer-by-layer analysis and processing mechanism of neuron connection and interaction information. The powerful parallel information processing ability of self-adaptation and self-learning has allowed for breakthroughs in many fields, among which the most representative is image recognition. Therefore, this paper proposed optimizing the RBF algorithm with machine learning (ML) to improve the recognition rate of spectrum sensing. The results showed that the average detection success rates of the RBF algorithm were 93.62%, 95.07%, 96.91%, 98.78% and 99.37% when the SNRs were − 8 dB, − 4 dB, 0 dB, 4 dB and 8 dB, respectively, and the other conditions were kept the same. The average detection success rates of the SVM/RBF algorithm were 97.65%, 99.63%, 99.76%, 99.91% and 99.88%, respectively. The average detection success rate of the SVM/RBF algorithm was significantly higher than that of the RBF algorithm. This indicates that analyzing the RBF neural network algorithm through ML can improve the success rate of spectrum sensing, which highlights a new direction for the application of ML and neural networks. The problem that I present in this paper concerns the issue of ethical evaluation of algorithms, especially those used in social media and which create profiles of users of these media and new technologies that have recently emerged and are intended to change the functioning of technologies used in data management. Systems such as Overton, SambaNova or Snorkel were created to help engineers create data management models, but they are based on different assumptions than the previous approach in machine learning and deep learning. There is a need to analyze both deep learning algorithms and new technologies in database management in terms of their actions towards a person who leaves their digital footprints, on which these technologies work. Then, the possibilities of applying the existing deep learning technology and new Big Data systems in the economy will be shown. In this paper, the quantum technology is exploited to empower the OPTICS unsupervised learning algorithm, which is a density-based clustering algorithm with numerous applications in the real world. We design an algorithm called Quantum Ordering Points To Identify the Clustering Structure (QOPTICS) and demonstrate that its computational complexity outperforms that of its classical counterpart. On the other hand, we propose a Deep self-learning approach for modeling the improvement of two Swarm Intelligence Algorithms, namely Artificial Orca Algorithm (AOA) and Elephant Herding Optimization (EHO) in order to improve their effectiveness. The deep self-learning approach is based on two well-known dynamic mutation operators, namely Cauchy mutation operator and Gaussian mutation operator. And in order to improve the efficiency of these algorithms, they are hybridized with QOPTICS and executed on just one cluster it yields. This way, both effectiveness and efficiency are handled. To evaluate the proposed approaches, an intelligent application is developed to manage the dispatching of emergency vehicles in a large geographic region and in the context of Covid-19 crisis in order to avoid an important loss in human lives. A theoretical model is designed to describe the issue mathematically. Extensive experiments are then performed to validate the mathematical model and evaluate the performance of the proposed deep self-learning algorithms. In sports, advance sensing technologies generate massive amount of unstructured telemedicine data that need to be refined for accurate diagnosis of underlying diseases. For accurate prediction of diseases and classification of athletes' data, deep learning algorithms are frequently used at the cloud. However, the transmission of raw data of athletes to the cloud faces numerous challenges. Among them, security and privacy are a major challenge in view of the sensitive and personal information present within the unstructured data. In this paper, first we present a data block scrambling algorithm (without key management) for secured transmission and storage of ECG (electrocardiogram) data of table tennis players at the cloud. A small piece of original data stored at the cloud is used for scrambling the massive amount of remaining ECG data. The secured telemedicine data is then imported into Hadoop Distributed File System for data management, which is read by Spark framework to form Resilient Distributed Datasets. Finally, a deep learning approach is used that extracts useful features, learns the related information, and weights and sums the feature vectors at different layers for classification. Theoretical analysis proves that our proposed approach is highly robust and resilient to brute force attacks and at the same time has a much better accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity as compared to the existing approaches. Hyperparameter optimization plays a significant role in the overall performance of machine learning algorithms. However, the computational cost of algorithm evaluation can be extremely high for complex algorithm or large dataset. In this paper, we propose a model-based reinforcement learning with experience variable and meta-learning optimization method to speed up the training process of hyperparameter optimization. Specifically, an RL agent is employed to select hyperparameters and treat the k-fold cross-validation result as a reward signal to update the agent. To guide the agent's policy update, we design an embedding representation called "experience variable" and dynamically update it during the training process. Besides, we employ a predictive model to predict the performance of machine learning algorithm with the selected hyperparameters and limit the model rollout in short horizon to reduce the impact of the inaccuracy of the model. Finally, we use the meta-learning technique to pre-train the model for fast adapting to a new task. To prove the advantages of our method, we conduct experiments on 25 real HPO tasks and the experimental results show that with the limited computational resources, the proposed method outperforms the state-of-the-art Bayesian methods and evolution method. Deep neural networks (DNNs) have evolved as a beneficial machine learning method that has been successfully used in various applications. Currently, DNN is a superior technique of extracting information from massive sets of data in a self-organized method. DNNs have different structures and parameters, which are usually produced for particular applications. Nevertheless, the training procedures of DNNs can be protracted depending on the given application and the size of the training set. Further, determining the most precise and practical structure of a deep learning method in a reasonable time is a possible problem related to this procedure. Meta-heuristics techniques, such as swarm intelligence (SI) and evolutionary computing (EC), represent optimization frames with specific theories and objective functions. These methods are adjustable and have been demonstrated their effectiveness in various applications; hence, they can optimize the DNNs models. This paper presents a comprehensive survey of the recent optimization methods (i.e., SI and EC) employed to enhance DNNs performance on various tasks. This paper also analyzes the importance of optimization methods in generating the optimal hyper-parameters and structures of DNNs in taking into consideration massive-scale data. Recently, phishing attacks have become one of the most prominent social engineering attacks faced by public internet users, governments, and businesses. In this work, we proposed a detection model using machine learning techniques by splitting the dataset to train the detection model and validating the results using the test data , to capture inherent characteristics of the email text, and other features to be classified as phishing or non-phishing using three different data sets, After making a comparison between them, we obtained that the most number of features used the most accurate and efficient results achieved. the best ML algorithm accuracy were 0.88, 1.00, and 0.97 consecutively for boosted decision tree on the applied data sets. Breast cancer (BC) is the leading cause of death among women worldwide. It affects in general women older than 40 years old. Medical images analysis is one of the most promising research areas since it provides facilities for diagnosis and decision-making of several diseases such as BC. This paper conducts a Structured Literature Review (SLR) of the use of Machine Learning (ML) and Image Processing (IP) techniques to deal with BC imaging. A set of 530 papers published between 2000 and August 2019 were selected and analyzed according to ten criteria: year and publication channel, empirical type, research type, medical task, machine learning techniques, datasets used, validation methods, performance measures and image processing techniques which include image pre-processing, segmentation, feature extraction and feature selection. Results showed that diagnosis was the most used medical task and that Deep Learning techniques (DL) were largely used to perform classification. Furthermore, we found out that classification was the most ML objective investigated followed by prediction and clustering. Most of the selected studies used Mammograms as imaging modalities rather than Ultrasound or Magnetic Resonance Imaging with the use of public or private datasets with MIAS as the most frequently investigated public dataset. As for image processing techniques, the majority of the selected studies pre-process their input images by reducing the noise and normalizing the colors, and some of them use segmentation to extract the region of interest with the thresholding method. For feature extraction, we note that researchers extracted the relevant features using classical feature extraction techniques (e.g. Texture features, Shape features, etc.) or DL techniques (e. g. Autonomous driving approaches today are mainly based on perception-planning-action modular pipelines and the End2End paradigm respectively. The End2End paradigm is a strategy that directly maps raw sensor data to vehicle control actions. This strategy is very promising and appealing because complex module design and cumbersome data labeling are avoided. Since this approach lacks a degree of interpretability, safety and practicability. we propose an autonomous driving approach based on trajectory learning using deep neural networks in this paper. In comparison to End2End algorithm, it is found that the trajectory learning algorithm performs better in autonomous driving. As for trajectory learning algorithm, the CNN_Raw-RNN network structure is established, which is verified to be more effective than the original CNN_LSTM network structure. Besides, we propose an autonomous driving architecture of a pilot and copilot combination. The pilot is responsible for trajectory prediction via imitation learning with labeled driving trajectories, while the copilot is a safety module that is employed to verify the effectiveness of the vehicle trajectory by the results of the semantic segmentation auxiliary task. In many machine learning applications and algorithms, the algorithm performance and accuracy are highly dependent on the metric used to measure the distance between different samples. Therefore, learning a distance metric specific to the data can improve these algorithms' performance. This paper proposes an unrestricted deep metric learning framework based on neural networks' interaction for learning metrics in latent space. The proposed method is inspired by generative neural nets (GANs), in which two neural nets are working together to learn true data distribution. In our method, one network plays the role of a supervisor for another network, a feature learning auto-encoder. Its task is to learn transformation to latent space in which data have more meaningful distance and separability. i.e., the supervisor gets the output of the auto-encoder and sends feedback to modify its weights. They interact with each other interleavingly. Several experiments were conducted on four datasets, such as MNIST, GISETTE, Winnipeg Cropland Classification (WCC), and swarm behavior, from different application domains, to evaluate the proposed method's performance. The results show that we can force auto-encoder to learn label information to project data into a latent space with better separability by using our approach. In addition to better class discrimination, the proposed method is far faster than normal auto-encoders during feature learning and has much less training time in the classification phase. Computer-aided diagnosis system is becoming a more and more important tool in clinical treatment, which can provide a verification of the doctors' decisions. In this paper, we proposed a novel abnormal brain detection method for magnetic resonance image. Firstly, a pre-trained AlexNet was modified with batch normalization layers and trained on our brain images. Then, the last several layers were replaced with an extreme learning machine. A searching method was proposed to find the best number of layers to be replaced. Finally, the extreme learning machine was optimized by chaotic bat algorithm to obtain better classification performance. The paper observes a similarity between the stochastic optimal control of discrete dynamical systems and the learning multilayer neural networks. It focuses on contemporary deep networks with nonconvex nonsmooth loss and activation functions. The machine learning problems are treated as nonconvex nonsmooth stochastic optimization problems. As a model of nonsmooth nonconvex dependences, the so-called generalized-differentiable functions are used. The backpropagation method for calculating stochastic generalized gradients of the learning quality functional for such systems is substantiated basing on Hamilton–Pontryagin formalism. Stochastic generalized gradient learning algorithms are extended for training nonconvex nonsmooth neural networks. Image registration is a fundamental task in image analysis in which the transform that moves the coordinate system of one image to another is calculated. Registration of multi-modal medical images has important implications for clinical diagnosis, treatment planning, and image-guided surgery as it provides the means of bringing together complimentary information obtained from different image modalities. However, since different image modalities have different properties due to their different acquisition methods, it remains a challenging task to find a fast and accurate match between multi-modal images. Furthermore, due to reasons such as ethical issues and need for human expert intervention, it is difficult to collect a large database of labelled multi-modal medical images. In addition, manual input is required to determine the fixed and moving images as input to registration algorithms. In this paper, we address these issues and introduce a registration framework that (1) creates synthetic data to augment existing datasets, (2) generates ground truth data to be used in the training and testing of algorithms, (3) registers (using a combination of deep learning and conventional machine learning methods) multi-modal images in an accurate and fast manner, and (4) automatically classifies the image modality so that the process of registration can be fully automated. Label manipulation attacks are a subclass of data poisoning attacks in adversarial machine learning used against different applications, such as malware detection. These types of attacks represent a serious threat to detection systems in environments having high noise rate or uncertainty, such as complex networks and Internet of Thing (IoT). Recent work in the literature has suggested using the K-nearest neighboring algorithm to defend against such attacks. However, such an approach can suffer from low to miss-classification rate accuracy. In this paper, we design an architecture to tackle the Android malware detection problem in IoT systems. We develop an attack mechanism based on silhouette clustering method, modified for mobile Android platforms. We proposed two convolutional neural network-type deep learning algorithms against this Silhouette Clustering-based Label Flipping Attack. We show the effectiveness of these two defense algorithms—label-based semi-supervised defense and clustering-based semi-supervised defense—in correcting labels being attacked. We evaluate the performance of the proposed algorithms by varying the various machine learning parameters on three Android datasets: Drebin, Contagio, and Genome and three types of features: API, intent, and permission. Our evaluation shows that using random forest feature selection and varying ratios of features can result in an improvement of up to 19% accuracy when compared with the state-of-the-art method in the literature. Machine learning era began to rule almost all the technologies, which influences the improvement of the performance due to its intelligent computing methodologies. Especially the Deep Learning algorithm plays a vital role in computing a human-like decision, which is considered to be the superior breakthrough technology of the century. Links initiated from the input and ends in the output of the network connecting many neurons on its path. The significant limitation of this network is its thirst towards the high computation power. This paper represents a methodology to make the system consume less computation requirement during its training or testing phase. In this process, an effective clustering algorithm (fraternal K-median clustering) is used as the preprocessing strategies, and as the second phase the dropout regularization procedure is implemented (in the Convolutional Neural Network, a type of Deep Learning algorithm) to eliminate most of the insignificant data. Nowadays, it has become well known that efficient training of deep neural networks plays a vital role in various successful applications. To achieve this goal, it is impractical to use only one computer, especially when the scale of models is large and some efficient computing resources are available. In this paper, we present a distributed parallel computing framework for training deep belief networks (DBNs) by employing the great power of high-performance clusters (i.e., a system consists of many computers). Motivated by the greedy layer-wise learning algorithm of DBNs, the whole training process is divided layer by layer and distributed to different machines. At the same time, rough representations are exploited to parallelize the training process. By conducting experiments on several large-scale real datasets, the novel algorithms are shown to significantly accelerate the training speed of DBNs while achieving better or competitive prediction accuracy in comparison with the original algorithm. Neural network (NN) finds role in variety of applications due to combined effect of feature extraction and classification availability in deep learning algorithms. In this paper, we have chosen SVM, logistic regression machine learning algorithms and NN for EEG signal classification. Two-layer LSTM and four-layer improved NN deep learning algorithms are proposed to improve the performance in EEG classification. Novelty lies in one-dimensional gradient descent activation functions with radial basis operations used in the initial layers of improved NN which help in achieving better performance. Statistical features namely mean, standard deviation, kurtosis and skewness are extracted for input EEG collected from Bonn database and then applied for various classification techniques. Accuracy, precision, recall and F1 score are the performance metrics used for analyzing the algorithms. Improved NN and LSTM give better performance compared to all other architectures. Deep neural network (DNN) architecture based models have high expressive power and learning capacity. However, they are essentially a black box method since it is not easy to mathematically formulate the functions that are learned within its many layers of representation. Realizing this, many researchers have started to design methods to exploit the drawbacks of deep learning based algorithms questioning their robustness and exposing their singularities. In this paper, we attempt to unravel three aspects related to the robustness of DNNs for face recognition: (i) assessing the impact of deep architectures for face recognition in terms of vulnerabilities to attacks, (ii) detecting the singularities by characterizing abnormal filter response behavior in the hidden layers of deep networks; and (iii) making corrections to the processing pipeline to alleviate the problem. Our experimental evaluation using multiple open-source DNN-based face recognition networks, and three publicly available face databases demonstrates that the performance of deep learning based face recognition algorithms can suffer greatly in the presence of such distortions. We also evaluate the proposed approaches on four existing quasi-imperceptible distortions: DeepFool, Universal adversarial perturbations, l 2 , and Elastic-Net (EAD). The proposed method is able to detect both types of attacks with very high accuracy by suitably designing a classifier using the response of the hidden layers in the network. Feature extraction and classification is a vital part in motor imagery-based brain-computer interface (BCI) system. Traditional deep learning (DL) methods usually perform better with more labeled training samples. Unfortunately, the labeled samples are usually scarce for electroencephalography (EEG) data, while unlabeled samples are available in large quantity and easy to collect. In addition, traditional DL algorithms are notoriously time-consuming for the training process. To address these issues, a novel method of hierarchical semi-supervised extreme learning machine (HSS-ELM) is proposed in this paper and applied for motor imagery (MI) task classification. Firstly, the deep architecture of hierarchical ELM (H-ELM) approach is employed for feature learning automatically, and then these new high-level features are classified using the semi-supervised ELM (SS-ELM) algorithm which can exploit the information from both labeled and unlabeled data. Extensive experiments were conducted on some benchmark datasets and EEG datasets to evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed method. Compared with several state-of-the-art methods, including SVM, ELM, SAE, H-ELM, and SS-ELM, our HSS-ELM method can achieve better classification accuracy, a mean kappa value of 0.7945 and 0.5701 across all subjects in the training and evaluation sessions of BCI Competition IV Dataset 2a, respectively. Finally, it comes to the conclusion that the proposed method has achieved superior performance for feature extraction and classification of EEG signals. Deep neural networks (DNNs) is one of the most popular machine learning methods and is widely used in many modern applications. The training process of DNNs is a time-consuming process. Accelerating the training of DNNs has been the focus of many research works. In this paper, we speed up the training of DNNs applied for automatic speech recognition and the target architecture is heterogeneous (CPU + MIC). We apply asynchronous methods for I/O and communication operations and propose an adaptive load balancing method. Besides, we also employ a momentum idea to speed up the convergence of the gradient descent algorithm. Experimental results show that our optimized algorithm is able to acquire a 20-fold speedup on a CPU + MIC platform compared with the original sequential algorithm on a single-core CPU. In this paper an unsupervised on-line deep learning algorithm for action recognition in video sequences is proposed. Deep learning models capable of deriving spatio-temporal data have been proposed in the past with remarkable results, yet, they are mostly restricted to building features from a short window length. The model presented here, on the other hand, considers the entire sample sequence and extracts the description in a frame-by-frame manner. Each computational node of the proposed paradigm forms clusters and computes point representatives, respectively. Subsequently, a first-order transition matrix stores and continuously updates the successive transitions among the clusters. Both the spatial and temporal information are concurrently treated by the Viterbi Algorithm, which maximizes a criterion based upon (a) the temporal transitions and (b) the similarity of the respective input sequence with the cluster representatives. The derived Viterbi path is the node's output, whereas the concatenation of nine vicinal such paths constitute the input to the corresponding upper level node. The engagement of ART and the Viterbi Algorithm in a Deep learning architecture, here, for the first time, leads to a substantially different approach for action recognition. Existing brain region segmentation algorithms based on deep convolutional neural networks (CNN) are inefficient for object boundary segmentation. In order to enhance the segmentation accuracy of brain tissue, this paper proposed an object region segmentation algorithm that combines pixel-level information and semantic information. Firstly, we extract semantic information by CNN with the attention module and get the coarse segmentation results through a specific pixel-level classifier. Then, we exploit conditional random fields to model the relationship between the underlying pixels so as to get local features. Finally, the semantic information and the local pixel-level information are respectively used as the unary potential and the binary potential of the Gibbs distribution, and the combination of both can obtain the fine region segmentation algorithm based on the fusion of pixel-level information and the semantic information. A large number of qualitative and quantitative test results show that our proposed algorithm has higher precision than the existing state-of-the-art deep feature models, which can better solve the problem of rough edge segmentation and produce good 3D visualization effect. Cerebrovascular accident due to carotid artery disease is the most common cause of death in developed countries following heart disease and cancer. For a reliable early detection of atherosclerosis, Intima Media Thickness (IMT) measurement and classification are important. A new method for decision support purpose for the classification of IMT was proposed in this study. Ultrasound images are used for IMT measurements. Images are classified and evaluated by experts. This is a manual procedure, so it causes subjectivity and variability in the IMT classification. Instead, this article proposes a methodology based on artificial intelligence methods for IMT classification. For this purpose, a deep learning strategy with multiple hidden layers has been developed. In order to create the proposed model, convolutional neural network algorithm, which is frequently used in image classification problems, is used. 501 ultrasound images from 153 patients were used to test the model. The images are classified by two specialists, then the model is trained and tested on the images, and the results are explained. The deep learning model in the study achieved an accuracy of 89.1% in the IMT classification with 89% sensitivity and 88% specificity. Human age prediction is an interesting and applicable issue in different fields. It can be based on various criteria such as face image, DNA methylation, chest plate radiographs, knee radiographs, dental images and etc. Most of the age prediction researches have mainly been based on images. Since the image processing and Machine Learning (ML) techniques have grown up, the investigations were led to use them in age prediction problem. The implementations would be used in different fields, especially in medical applications. Brain Age Estimation (BAE) has attracted more attention in recent years and it would be so helpful in early diagnosis of some neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer, Parkinson, Huntington, etc. BAE is performed on Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) images to compute the brain ages. Studies based on brain MRI shows that there is a relation between accelerated aging and accelerated brain atrophy. This refers to the effects of neurodegenerative diseases on brain structure while making the whole of it older. This paper reviews and summarizes the main approaches for age prediction based on brain MRI images including preprocessing methods, useful tools used in different research works and the estimation algorithms. We categorize the BAE methods based on two factors, first the way of processing MRI images, which includes pixel-based, surface-based, or voxel-based methods and second, the generation of ML algorithms that includes traditional or Deep Learning (DL) methods. The modern techniques as DL methods help MRI based age prediction to get results that are more accurate. In recent years, more precise and statistical ML approaches have been utilized with the help of related tools for simplifying computations and getting accurate results.
