Nanjing Yunjin, one of China's traditional silk weaving techniques, is renowned for its unique local characteristics and exquisite craftsmanship, and was included in the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO in 2009. However, with rapid development in weaving technology, ever-changing market demands, and shifting public aesthetics, Nanjing Yunjin, as an intangible cultural heritage, faces the challenge of survival and inheritance. Addressing this issue requires efficient storage, management, and utilization of Yunjin knowledge to enhance public understanding and recognition of Yunjin culture. In this study, we have constructed an intelligent question-answering system for Nanjing Yunjin digital resources based on knowledge graph, utilizing the Neo4j graph database for efficient organization, storage, and protection of Nanjing Yunjin knowledge, thereby revealing its profound cultural connotations. Furthermore, we adopted deep learning algorithms for natural language parsing. Specifically, we adopted BERT-based intent recognition technology to categorize user queries by intent, and we employed the BERT + BiGRU + CRF model for entity recognition. By comparing with BERT + BILSTM + CRF, BERT + CRF and BILSTM + CRF models, our model demonstrated superior performance in terms of precision, recall, and F1 score, substantiating the superiority and effectiveness of this model. Finally, based on the parsed results of the question, we constructed knowledge graph query statements, executed by the Cypher language, and the processed query results were fed back to the users in natural language. Through system implementation and testing, multiple indices including system response time, stability, load condition, accuracy, and scalability were evaluated. The experimental results indicated that the Nanjing Yunjin intelligent question-answering system, built on the knowledge graph, is able to efficiently and accurately generate answers to user's natural language queries, greatly facilitating the retrieval and utilization of Yunjin knowledge. This not only reinforces the transmission, promotion, and application of Yunjin culture but also provides a paradigm for constructing other intangible cultural heritage question-answering systems based on knowledge graphs. This has substantial theoretical and practical significance for deeply exploring and uncovering the knowledge structure of human intangible heritage, promoting cultural inheritance and protection. To determine associations between educational level and ophthalmic diseases in Chinese. The population-based Beijing Eye Study, performed in 2006, enrolled 3,251 participants (age: 45+ years) out of 4,439 subjects invited to participate (response rate: 73.2%). The participants underwent an interview including questions concerning their educational level, and a detailed ophthalmic examination. Data on the level of education were available for 3,221 (99.1%) subjects, with 1,484 (46.1%) subjects living in the rural region. The mean age was 60.4 ± 10.1 years (range: 45–89 years). In a multivariate analysis, a higher level of education was significantly associated with myopic refractive error, higher best-corrected visual acuity, lower degree of nuclear cataract, and lower prevalence of angle-closure glaucoma, and with the systemic parameters of lower age, male gender, urban region, taller body height, and lower body mass index. It was not significantly associated with intraocular pressure, amount of subcapsular cataract and cortical cataract, cataract surgery, and the prevalences of diabetes mellitus, retinal vein occlusions, chronic open-angle glaucoma, and age-related macular degeneration, and with the systemic parameters of fasting serum concentrations of glucose, high-density lipoproteins, low-density lipoproteins, cholesterol and triglycerides, systolic and diastolic blood pressure. In the Greater Beijing area, a higher level of education was associated with myopic refractive error, higher best-corrected visual acuity, and lower prevalence of nuclear cataract and angle-closure glaucoma, after adjusting for the systemic parameters of younger age, male gender, urban region, taller body height, lower body mass index less smoking and less alcohol consumption. Educational level was not significantly associated with intraocular pressure, cortical cataract, blood pressure, and frequencies of age-related macular degeneration, retinal vein occlusions and chronic open-angle glaucoma. Middle Permian Qixia Formation in the southwestern region of Sichuan (SW China) has experienced multiphase fluidisation, resulting in an unclear understanding of the reservoir reconstruction effect. In this study, a systematic analysis of the Qi2 member in Wulong Town was carried out by combining field outcrop petrology and geochemistry. The results demonstrated that multiple sets of crystalline dolomite-bioclastic limestone cycles were stacked vertically in the Qi2 member, accompanied by the development of fractures and karst channels. The dolomite was mainly composed of silty-fine dolomite (D1) and recrystallised dolomite (D2). Furthermore, obvious multiphase dolomitic cements (Cd1-Cd2) were present in the fractures and pores. Early karst is known to have lithologic mutation surface development and karst channel development at the top of several secondary cycles. The vadose silt dolomites (Cd1) having karst channels developed dull luminescence under cathode luminescence (CL). Both the geochemical indicators of elements and rare earth element (REE) content indicated dysoxic-oxic environmental conditions. The hydrothermal solution displayed tectonic carniole characteristics in the strata burial stage. Fractures and pores were filled with hydrothermal minerals such as coarse dolomites-saddle dolomites (Cd2, with some caused by recrystallisation of the Cd1 hydrothermal solution) and fluorites. Coarse dolomites-saddle dolomites developed dull-red luminescence with a bright-red rim under CL and their δ18OVPDB values were more negative than those of middle Permian limestone samples. Both the geochemical indicators of elements and REE content indicated the suboxic-anoxic environmental conditions. Karstification had minor constructive impact on the reservoir of the Qi2 member in Baoxing in southwestern Sichuan. Most products of karstification were distributed as fillings in channels. Aside from creating certain networked fractures, the hydrothermal solution was mainly filled with hydrothermal minerals along the fractures, pores and early karst channels. Karst and the hydrothermal solution mainly damaged the middle and upper parts of the middle Permian Qixia Formation in Southwest Sichuan. The impact of episodic fluid on the restoration of the carbonate reservoir was mainly restricted by channels for fluid migration and thickness differences among the reservoir. Dendrobium officinale is a rare and endangered perennial herb in China, which have been used in preparing Chinese tonic medicine for hundreds of years. The severe shortage of this herb and high price have caused that many similar plants were processed as an adulterant and it became difficult to distinguish genuine D. officinale by traditional authentication methods. A sensitive, convenient, and specific method for rapid identification of D. officinale is urgently needed. In the present study, 3D front-face fluorescence technique merged with Independent Component Analysis was used to get the "pure" independent fluorescence signals. The overall 3D-FFF spectra were decomposed into seven independent components (IC). To distinguish D. officinale from other species, IC1 and IC4 were chosen as fluorescence markers and the fluorescence intensity (FI) value at 340 nm/ 442 nm (excitation /emission wavelength) of IC1and 315 nm/ 468 nm of IC4 were used to build a linear model for identifying D. officinale successfully. Compared with other Dendrobium species, D. officinale showed much higher FI1 and FI4 value which is a direct criterion for identification. Meanwhile, even though the FI values of D. officinale may fluctuate due to the difference of growing conditions, the relation between FI1 and FI4 amazingly always fit the linear model constructed (FI4 = 9.9046 + 0.6119FI1, R2 = 0.9811). The linear model is an important finding and specific for D. officinale. Based on the FI value and the goodness of fit in the linear model, D. officinale can be identified quickly. Arctium lappa L. is widely used for medicinal purposes across China, and significant effort has been directed toward enhancing its quality. Association with microorganisms has been shown to influence both plant growth and metabolites, providing a possible avenue for its quality improvement. In this study, we investigated the microorganism compositions of the root, stem, leaf, fruit and rhizospheric soil of A. lappa through high-throughput Illumina sequencing of 16S rRNA genes and ITS regions. A total of 796,891 16S rRNA and 626,270 ITS reads were obtained from the samples. Analysis of the sequencing data revealed that bacterial and fungal communities were more diverse in the rhizospheric soil sample compared with other samples. Cyanobacteria, Actinobacteria, Proteobacteria, Firmicutes, and Bacteroidetes phyla were found in all samples. Cyanobacteria was particularly enriched in the root, stem, leaf and fruit at 88.59%, 86.15%, 98.31% and 93.57%, respectively; Actinobacteria was the highest in rhizospheric soil, at 37.53%. Ascomycota was the most dominant fungal phylum, representing 69.17%, 58.18%, 87.93%, 90.18% and 80.21% in the root, stem, leaf, fruit, and rhizospheric soil, respectively. Several novel unclassifiable bacterial and fungal species were also detected. In total, we detected about 922 bacterial and 334 fungal species, which include a number of unclassifiable species. There is a long history of studying and making use of ductile cast iron in China. Over the years, the foundrymen in China have carried out a lot of valuable research and development work for measuring parameters and controlling the quality in ductile cast iron production. Many methods, such as rapid metallographic phase, thermal analysis, eutectic expansion ratio, surface tension measurement, melt electrical resistivity, oxygen and sulfur activity measurement, ultrasonic measurement and sound frequency measurement, have been used and have played important roles in Chinese casting production in the past. These methods can be generally classified as liquid testing and solid testing according to the sample state. Based on the analysis of the present situation of these methods applied in the Chinese metal casting industry, the authors consider that there are two difficult technical problems to be currently solved in monitoring ductile iron quality. One is to seek an effective method for quickly evaluating the nodularizing result through on-the-spot sample analysis before the liquid iron is poured into the mould. Purpose: To describe our clinical experience with nephron sparing surgery (NSS) for bilateral Wilms tumor and evaluate the outcomes of patients treated at one of the largest pediatric medical centers in China.Methods: Medical records of children with bilateral Wilms tumor undergoing NSS in the Children's Hospital of Chongqing Medical University during a 15-year period were retrospectively analyzed. Data collected were composed of age at surgery, tumor response, tumor rupture during resection, final pathologic margins, use of radiation therapy, pathology reports, renal function, and patient survival.Results: A total of 18 eligible patients (10 males, 8 females) with bilateral Wilms tumor at a mean age of 2.28 ± 1.12 years were identified. The administration of preoperative chemotherapy did not result in universally successful outcomes. All children underwent successfully unilateral or bilateral NSS, of which one had positive pathologic margins and five received radiation therapy postoperatively. The rates of tumor rupture and positive lymph nodes involvement were 11.1 and 19.4%, respectively. The pathological study showed favorable histology and unfavorable histology in 32 and 4 kidneys, respectively. The 4-year event-free survival and overall survival rates were 68.18 and 85.56%. In univariable analysis, tumor histology (p = 0.0028) and disease stage (p = 0.0303) appeared significantly associated with overall survival. After a median follow-up period of 41.5 months (range 10-89), three of the surviving patients were diagnosed with hypertension and one had renal insufficiency.Conclusions: Our experience suggests that NSS has become a feasible and effective option with good oncologic outcomes. Further research, ideally in a multicenter randomized manner, is warranted to better assess the role of NSS in this challenging clinical scenario. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
