It was a different study from traditional anatomy to construct three-dimensional (3D) model of the corona mortis (CMOR) through contrasted enhanced computed tomography (CT) scanning. This will provide an aid for the understanding of the fine anatomy of CMOR, as well as surgical produces. A medical image processing system was used to process computed tomography scanning data collected from 330 cases of woman patients. Accurate digital 3D models of the CMOR were used to study the incidence, location, and the morphological patterns. These models have a rotation of 360° and allow displaying from different views. The incidence was 51.1% for the venous CMOR, 14.1% for the arterial CMOR in the 660 sides pelvic wall and vessel models. The mean distance from the symphysis pubis for the venous CMOR was 66.87 mm, and 59.60 mm for the arterial CMOR. The morphological patterns we identified were classified in three types (I-III). The model of CMOR serves as a useful tool for the learning and investigation of the CMOR. Three new minor oleanane triterpenoid saponins, cylindrosides B (1), C (2), and D (3), were isolated from the seed of Cylindrokelupha dalatensis using chromatographic method. Their structures were established on the basis of the chemical and spectroscopic evidences. They displayed significant antitumor activity in vitro against HL60 cancer cell lines and IC50 values were 7.15 ± 0.63, 10.07 ± 0.97, and 4.74 ± 0.57 μM, respectively, by MTT method. Compound 1, a triterpenoid saponin from Ardisia gigantifolia Stapf. showing potential anti-tumor activity, was transformed into three derivatives (2–4) by Aspergillus avenaceus 3.4454. Among them, compounds 2 and 3 are new compounds. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of 1D NMR, 2D NMR, HR-ESI-MS, and optical rotation data. Compounds 1–3 were evaluated for their cytotoxicity against human hepatocellular carcinoma and normal liver cells by cell counting kit 8 colorimetric assay. Compound 3 displayed better cytotoxicity against Bel-7402 and HepG2 cell lines and much weaker cytotoxicity against normal liver L02 cell than that of positive control (epirubicin hydrochloride). Two new isoflavone glycosides, millesianins F (1) and G (2), along with 11 known ones (3–13) have been isolated from then-butanol extract of the vine stems ofMillettia dielsianaHarms. The structures of1and2were established as cladrastin 7-O-β-d-apiofuranosyl-(1 → 6)-β-d-glucopyranoside (1) and fujikinetin 7-O-β-d-apiofuranosyl-(1 → 6)-β-d-glucopyranoside (2) by means of spectroscopic analysis and chemical methods. Some isolates (compounds1,3,4,5,6, and11) were tested for their effects on the proliferation of hematopoietic progenitor cell, and the preliminary results showed that all of investigated compounds had moderate activities but not in dose-dependent manners. A new triterpenoid saponin, named 3-O-β-d-glucopyranosyl-(1 → 3)-β-d-xylopyranosyl-(1 → 2)-[α-l-rhamnopyranosyl-(1 → 3)]-β-d-glucopyranosyl-(1 → 4)-[β-d-glucopyranosyl-(1 → 2)]-α-l-arabinopyranosyl-3β,16α,28,30-tetrahydroxy-olean-12-ene (1), along with four known triterpenoids (2–5), was isolated from the rhizomes ofArdisia gigantifolia. Timosaponin BII (1), a steroidal saponin showing potential anti-dementia activity, was regioselectively hydrolyzed into its deglycosyl derivatives by the crude enzyme from Aspergillus niger AS 3.0739. Three biotransformation products, timosaponin BII-a (2), timosaponin BII-b (3), and timosaponin BII-c (4), were purified and their structures were elucidated on the basis of 1D NMR, 2D NMR, FAB-MS, and HR-ESI-MS spectral data.
