This article designs a quantised security controller for partial differential equation (PDE) systems under replay attacks. Initially, the Takagi – Sugeno fuzzy model is utilised to represent the considered nonlinear system and combines pointwise measurement and pointwise control methods to save the whole system’s costs. Moreover, to reduce network transmission pressure and simulate the network, hysteretic quantiser and replay attacks are considered. Furthermore, based on the Lyapunov direct method and the inequality technique, sufficient conditions to assure the stability of the closed-loop system are achieved. This study investigated the dissolved trace metal contamination levels of Zn, Sr, B, Al, Ba, Fe, Mn, Li, V, Be, Cd, Cr, Cu, Mo, Ni, Se, and Pb in 23 surface waters of the Yellow River Delta (YRD) in China. Coefficients of variation with 66–260% reflected large spatial variations of concentrations of metals. Compared to drinking water guidelines established by the World Health Organization and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the primary trace metal pollution components (Al, B, V, and Zn) were above drinking water standard levels by 82.6%, 47.8%, 52.2%, and 52.2%, respectively. Preliminary risk assessments were determined via the Hazard Quotient (HQ) to evaluate the human health risk of these metals. HQingestionof V indicated potential deleterious health effects for residents. Hierarchical cluster results revealed that clusters 1, 2, and 3 were primarily affected by pollution from industrial and domestic activities, natural and agriculture activities, and oil fields, respectively. 1. 8-methylene-tert-butylamine-3′,5,7-trihydroxy-4′-methoxyflavanone (MTBH), a novel hesperidin derivative, has potential in the prevention of hepatic disease, however, its effects on cytochrome P450 isoforms (CYP450s) remains unexplored. The purpose was to investigate the effects of MTBH on the mRNA, protein levels, and activities of six CYP450s (1A2, 2C11/9, 2D2/6, 3A1/4, 2C13/19, and 2E1) in vitro and in vivo. 2. In vitro study, rat and human liver microsomes were adopted to elucidate the inhibitory effect of MTBH on six CYP450s using probe drugs. In vivo study, Sprague-Dawley male rats were treated with MTBH (25, 50, or 100 mg/kg for 28 consecutive days), phenobarbital (80 mg/kg for 12 consecutive days), or 0.5% CMC-Na solution (control group) by intragastric administration, then, the mRNA, protein levels and activities of liver CYP450s were analysed by real-time PCR, western blotting and probe-drug incubation systems, respectively. 3. The in vitro study indicated that MTBH inhibits the activities of CYP3A1/4 and CYP2E1 in rat and human liver microsomes. In vivo data showed that MTBH inhibits mRNA, protein levels, and activities of CYP3A1 and CYP2E1 in medium- and high-dose MTBH groups. 4. This paper investigates the problem of exponential stabilisation for fractional-order semilinear parabolic distributed parameter systems with actuator faults, and a reliable state feedback controller is proposed. First, the considered nonlinear fractional-order distributed parameter systems are reconstructed by Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy partial differential equation (PDE) model, where a finite number of actuators are active only at some specified points of the spatial domain. Then, based on the obtained fractional-order T-S fuzzy PDE model, a fractional-order Lyapunov technique is used to analyse the closed-loop exponential stability. By using the vector-valued Wirtinger's inequality, a reliable state feedback controller that can guarantee locally exponential stabilisation of the fractional-order semilinear PDE systems is presented in terms of linear matrix inequalities. 1. Ginkgolide B (GB), the most active of the ginkgolides, has been developed as a new drug for the treatment of vascular insufficiency; however, the pharmacokinetics of GB remain unclear. Here, we investigated the pharmacokinetics and urine excretion properties of GB in healthy Chinese subjects administered single- and multiple-dose injectable GB based on a new LC-MS/MS method. 2. GB pharmacokinetics were found to be dose-dependent from 20 to 60 mg. GB reached a steady state by day 6 with once-daily dosing at 40 mg. Systemic exposure to GB, as characterised by AUC0–∞, indicated accumulation following repeated once-daily dosing for seven consecutive days. The mean urinary cumulative excretion rate of GB in response to 20, 40, and 60 mg GB was 41.9 ± 18.5%, 32.9 ± 12.2%, and 43.9 ± 8.5%, respectively. 3. Dose-proportional pharmacokinetics of GB were observed after intravenous administration in healthy subjects. A gradual reduction in the volume of distribution and slight change in mean resistance time led us to conjecture the limited accumulation of GB based on distribution equilibrium in vivo. 4. Large-scale irrigation practices may disturb local hydrologic cycles and distribute trace metals throughout the environment. Reported here is the spatial pattern of trace metals and associated health risks in an agricultural area of China, which has a long history of irrigation with water from the Yellow River. Multivariate statistical analyses and a risk-assessment model were employed to interpret the environmental data. It indicated that Zn, Se, B, Ba, Fe, Mn, Mo, Ni, V, Al, Li, Sr, Be, Cd, Cr, Cu, and Pb were all detected in the surface waters. Compared to drinking water guidelines, the primary trace metal pollution components (Al, Fe, Se, B, Mn, and Zn) exceeded drinking water standards by 40.7%, 14.8%, 29.6%, 25.9%, 11.1%, and 14.8%, respectively. Except for one site that exhibited anomalous metal concentrations, landscape features of trace metals identified a uniform distribution of trace metals for all sample sites. The calculated mean value of Hazard Quotients (HQs) exceeded the USEPA's recommendations by a factor of 2.9 times the threshold value. Primary sources of trace metals were associated with natural deposition, industrial and agrochemical processes, and a mixed source of both geogenic and anthropogenic origins. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
