Background: COVID-19, which is caused by SARS-CoV-2, is a major global health threat. The dominant variant of SARS-CoV-2 has changed over time due to continuous evolution. We aimed to evaluate the coverage of SARS-CoV-2 vaccination among employees in China, explore their willingness to receive the SARS-CoV-2 variant vaccine and examine the potential factors influencing vaccination coverage and willingness. Methods: A cross-sectional epidemiological survey was conducted online from January 1, 2022, to January 30, 2022. The information collected in the survey included sociodemographic characteristics, lifestyle habits, vaccination coverage, willingness to be vaccinated against SARS-CoV-2 variants and the reasons for vaccination and willingness. Multivariable logistic regression models were used to assess the associations of potential factors with the rate of vaccination and the willingness to be vaccinated. Results: Among 62,395 eligible participants, the coverage of SARS-CoV-2 vaccination was 98.9% for at least one dose and 70.1% for a booster. The great majority of vaccinated individuals (94.4%) voluntarily received the vaccine. A total of 60,694 respondents (97.7%) were willing to be vaccinated against SARS-CoV-2 variants, mainly due to confidence in the effectiveness of vaccines (92.8%). A total of 1431 respondents were unwilling to be vaccinated, mainly because of concerns about the adverse effects of vaccines (77.6%). Longer education duration was associated with a higher rate of SARS-CoV-2 vaccination and willingness to be vaccinated. General or poor health status and having no history of influenza vaccination were associated with a lower rate of SARS-CoV-2 vaccination and willingness to be vaccinated. Additionally, we observed a significant positive association of abuse experience with the willingness to be vaccinated. Conclusion: Although the rate of SARS-CoV-2 vaccination and the willingness to be vaccinated were relatively high in the study population, there were still some respondents with vaccine hesitancy. Tungsten deposits are usually associated with granitic intrusions that record a long and complex evolution of the magmatic-hydrothermal system. However, the genetic link between magmatic-hydrothermal evolution and tungsten mineralization remains unclear. The Xihuashan tungsten deposit in South China, an important vein-type wolframite deposit, is closely associated with greisen and multiphase intrusive activity that produced biotite granite, two-mica granite, and muscovite granite. From the biotite granite to the two-mica granite to the muscovite granite, micas vary from siderophyllite to lithian siderophyllite, with decreasing K/Rb and Nb/Ta ratios and increasing Rb and Cs contents. The zoned micas in the muscovite granite and greisen display fluorine-depleted rims, reflecting subsolidus replacement by external aqueous fluids. The presence of siderite indicates a Fe-, Mn-, and CO2-rich fluid under reducing conditions. The micas in the greisen have higher-F contents and lower Fe3+/Fe2+ ratios than those in the muscovite granite, suggesting that the fluids contributing to greisen formation had a relatively high-fluorine content and were reduced. The increase of CO2 in the fluid enhanced its ability to unlock W from melts/rocks into fluids. The reducing environment also facilitated the tungsten mineralization. During greisenization, the pH value of the fluid increased, which destabilized the polymeric tungstates to form WO42–. The mixture of W-rich solution and Fe-, Mn-rich external fluid eventually precipitated as vein-type wolframite in favorable locations. An empirical equation (Li2O = 0.0748 × F2 + 0.0893 × F) was introduced for estimating the Li2O contents of hydrothermal micas using the F contents determined by EPMA. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The degradation of ecosystems and their services is threatening human wellbeing, making ecosystem service (ES) conservation an urgent necessity. In ES conservation planning, conservation area identification is crucial for the success of conservation initiatives. However, different decision-making preferences have not been fully considered and integrated in ES conservation area identification. This study takes the Dawen River watershed as the study area and considers three water-related ESs to be conserved. We aim to integrate the decision-making preferences of cost-effectiveness, ES sustainable supply, and ES social benefit into identifying ES conservation areas by using conservation cost, ecosystem health, and ES social importance as spatial constraints, respectively. We identified ES conservation area alternatives under the scenarios set according to different decision-making preferences. Specifically, ES conservation targets, i.e., the expected proportion of each ES in conservation areas, are designed to be met where there is low conservation cost (cost-oriented scenario), high ecosystem health (ES sustainable supply scenario), or high ES social importance (ES social benefit scenario). A balanced scenario considering all three decision-making preferences together is further established. The results show that under each scenario, the identified conservation areas can concurrently meet the conservation targets and decision-making preferences. The consideration of different decision-making preferences can greatly influence the spatial distributions of ES conservation areas. Moreover, a severe trade-off between conservation cost and ES social importance is observed under the ES social benefit scenario, and the balanced scenario can achieve a synergy of decision-making preferences. The water immersion residual coal tend to happen spontaneous combustion accidents after mining the coal seam. For exploring the oxidative re-ignition properties of high-temperature oxidized water-impregnated long-flame coal, the thermal evolution law toward each pre-oxidized coal soaked in water under varying heating rates (Rh) (5, 10, 15°C/min) has been analyzed by thermogravimetric differential scanning calorimetry (TG-DSC). The findings are as follows: the DTG at the critical temperature (T1) and maximum weight loss temperature (T5) increases, the activation energy (E) decreases, and the heat output increases (maximum 6391J/g) with the rising Rh. The violent oxidated reaction process of coal samples has been delayed as the Rh was 10°C/min. The water-immersed coal sample (I200) contains more free water on the surface, and the maximum (0.45 mW/mg) and total (178.8 J/g) heat absorption of are higher. Oxidation at 200°C and soaking in water (O200I200) reduced the ignition point temperature (minimum 399°C) and E (minimum 18.5 kJ/mol), and increased the total heat release (maximum 323 J/g) making it easier to oxidize and re-ignite. Under the same Rh, the oxidation and combustion traits of each pre-oxidized water-immersed coal (PWIC) remained unchanged. Reducing the Rh can effectively prevent spontaneous combustion of high-temperature oxidized water-soaked coal in shallow-buried and short-distance coal seams in northwest of China. Grazing exclusion has been proposed as a method of restoring degraded grassland ecosystems. However, its effectiveness remains poorly understood in mountain-basin grasslands in arid regions. Thus, we investigated the plant community characteristics, C and N storage levels, and soil organic carbon and total nitrogen concentrations and storage within the upper 0–40 cm soil layer in a grazed grassland (GG) and a fenced grassland (FG) with grazing exclusion in mountain meadow (MM) and temperate typical steppe (TTS) habitats in a mountain-basin ecosystem in an arid region of Central China, which are both vital grassland resources for livestock grazing and ecological conservation. In MM, our investigation revealed that grazing exclusion was beneficial to the productivity, coverage, height, diversity, and C and N storage of aboveground plants. However, grazing exclusion was not an effective option for soil C and N sequestration. In TTS, grazing exclusion effectively improved the plant productivity, coverage, height, plant and soil C and N sequestration, although it was not beneficial for maintaining plant diversity. Our findings suggest that reduced or rotational grazing may be a better choice than grazing exclusion in MM. In addition, considering the trade-off between biomass productivity and species diversity in TTS, short-term grazing exclusion should be considered. By utilizing a natural mercury lamp, the transverse Zeeman background correction method, which is used for trace mercury measurement in air, is studied. In this paper, a natural mercury lamp is used as a light source, and is placed in a 1.78-T magnetic field. The lamp emits two linearly polarized light beams σ± and π of 253.65-nm resonance line, which are used as bias light and absorbing light, respectively. A polarization modulation system is used to allow σ± and π light beams to pass through alternately with a certain frequency. A multipath optical cell with 12-m optical path is used to increase optical distance. Based on the system described above, the influence caused by UV absorbing gases, such as NO2, SO2, acetone, benzene, and O3, is analyzed. The results show that it may reduce the detection limit when the concentrations of these gases exceed 83.4 ppm, 20.3 ppm, 142.3 ppm, 0.85 ppm, and 0.55 ppm, respectively. The detection limit of the system is calculated and can achieve up to 1.44 ng/m3 in 10 minutes. Measurements on mercury sample gas and air are carried out, and the measured data are compared with the data of RA-915 mercury analyzer (Russia). The result shows that the correlation coefficient reaches up to 0.967. Land use mix (LUM) is a key part of urban form, but the definitions and measures of LUM are debated. This study aims to reveal the spatial characteristics of LUM patterns by using a sample of 216 streets in Shanghai, a megacity of China. Firstly, a systematic quantitative framework for sustainable LUM is proposed. Then, an LUM degree index (LMDI) that integrates diversity, proximity and compatibility is developed to address the possible bias of a single dimension. Results suggest that areas with high diversity are not necessarily mixed, due to inaccessibility or negative externalities of land uses. Subsequently, spatial characteristics of LUM patterns that combine LMDI with dominant mix‐typologies are analyzed. Results show that residential & service‐dominated streets tend to exhibit higher mix, and are mainly distributed in the city center or the administrative core area. However, 44.4% of the streets with residential & industrial‐dominated or equally distributed mix have lower mix degree and are generally located in the outskirts. More optimized policies for urban periphery areas should be considered. Zero-valent copper activated peroxymonosulfate (ZVC/PMS) system was widely used to degrade refractory contaminants due to being highly effective. However, the low reactivity and easy dismutation of cuprous species (Cu(I)) in acid condition limited its efficiency. In our study, ZVC coupled with ferrous ion (Fe(II)) promoted PMS to degrade orange II. Multiple oxidants including Cu(III), OH and SO 4 − made main contribution on orange II degradation in the Fe(II)/ZVC/PMS system. In the Fe(II)/ZVC/PMS system, ZVC generated Cu(I) by H+ corrosion and PMS oxidation, and Cu(I) reacted with oxygen producing hydrogen peroxide. Then, Fe(II) and Cu(I) catalyzed hydrogen peroxide and PMS to generate Cu(III), OH and SO 4 −, and thereinto Fe(III) was reduced to Fe(II) by ZVC and Cu(I). In the Fe(II)/ZVC/PMS system, water matrix including humic acid, sulfate and nitrate had no significant impact on orange II degradation, while chloride restrained the degradation of orange II. The Fe(II)/ZVC/PMS system exhibited great degradation for orange II in tap water, lake water and well water. Additionally, the Fe(II)/ZVC/PMS system degraded more than 90% of methyl orange, rhodamine B, acetaminophen, ibuprofen, propranolol and diclofenac. Through adjusting the final reaction solution to pH 8.5 and subsiding, the discharge of total copper met the II-level environmental quality standards for surface water in China (1 mg/L). At the same time, PMS reduced Cu(II) to Cu(I), and Cu(I) reacted with oxygen with forming hydrogen peroxide (H 2 O 2). Finally, both Cu(I) and Fe(II) induced H 2 O 2 and PMS producing reactive oxidants, and meanwhile H 2 O 2 was formed by the reaction of Fe(IV) and •OH. Thereinto, Fe(IV) and •OH made main contribution on the degradation of acetaminophen, while Fe(IV), Cu(III) and •OH were responsible for orange II degradation. Common water matrix including sulfate ion, nitrate ion and carbonate ion had inapparent impact on acetaminophen degradation, but chloride ion and humic acid limited slightly the degradation of acetaminophen. There had a good degradation of acetaminophen in tap water, lake water and well water with the Fe(III)/Cu(0)/PMS system. Adjusting the final reaction solution to pH 8.0 and subsiding, the discharge of total copper was within the II-level environmental quality standards for surface water in China (1 mg/L). Background: Chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (CINV) is one of the most common and distressing side effects in patients with cancer. The introduction and development of antiemetic drugs have significantly improved the ability of clinicians to control CINV, but it is not easy to translate to practical application, owing to financial issues, provider-related barriers, and patient factors. Nondrug therapies are needed to alleviate the symptoms of CINV. Acupuncture is an appropriate adjunctive treatment for CINV, but additional evidence is needed.Methods/design: This study is a multicenter, randomized, sham-controlled prospective clinical trial. A total of 136 participants will be randomly allocated into the intervention group (verum acupuncture) or the control group (sham acupuncture) in a 1:1 ratio. All treatment will be given for 5 days. Participants in both groups will receive acupuncture sessions twice on the first day of chemotherapy and once consecutively on the following 4 days. Each session takes approximately 30 minutes. The primary outcome measure will be the Common Terminology Criteria for Adverse Events to assess CINV. The secondary outcome measures will be the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group score, Simplified Nutritional Appetite Questionnaire, and Hospital Anxiety and Depression scale. To study the surrounding rock stress evolution laws and deformation features of deep roadway with thick top coal, a large-scale geomechanical model test system was newly developed. This test system mainly consists of counter-force device, flexible uniform pressure loading device, digital intelligent hydraulic control system and high precision pluralistic real-time monitoring system. This flexible assembled system has large space for simulating, can provide high and uniform loading which can increase test precision. Taking 3302 working face of Zhaolou Coal Mine as engineering background, according to a large number of similar meterial compounding tests, two kinds of similar materials belong to different series were determined to simulate sandstone and coal respectively. Similar supporting components such as prestressed bolt(cable), box supporting beam, steel strip, and steel tray were designed and manufactured; the large-scale model test research was carried out on pressure relief anchor box beam support system, and the surrounding rock stress evolution and deformation laws in excavating and supporting of deep roadway with thick top coal was obtained. An environmentally sustainable cultivated grassland at the edge of the Junggar Desert Basin in China is vital for the ecological conservation of the mountain-basin system (MBS) in the arid region of Central Asia and the stable settlement of herdsmen in the northern China. To evaluate the sustainability of sown systems, this study applied emergy and economic analysis to three traditional sown systems, silage corn (SC), oil sunflower (OS), and seed melon (SM), and three innovative sown systems, leafy king monocropped (LM), leafy king-sudangrass intercropped (LSI) and algonquin-sudangrass intercropped (ASI), in a cultivated grassland at the edge of the Junggar Desert Basin. The emergy results revealed that all systems required 85.65%–90.32% of emergy investments from outside systems, and 74.17%–84.46% of the investments were nonrenewable emergy inputs. The emergy sustainability ratio revealed that ASI, LSI and LM had superior ecological benefits with lower environmental burdens than SC, OS and SM. The economic analysis illustrated that OS and ASI had high economic profits, while ASI, LSI and LM had high income-to-cost ratios. LSI and ASI could achieve both ecological and economic benefits. The chemical fertilizer and irrigation water simulations indicated that the sustainability of all these systems could be enhanced by applying drip irrigation and reducing chemical fertilizer by 20%. Therefore, water-saving irrigation and renewable resource utilization need to be implemented. Appropriate adjustments to the plantation structure and long-term financial and policy support for cultivated grassland construction are recommended. Advanced cultivated technology should be investigated and promoted. Additionally, the rationally allocated and scientifically managed cultivated grassland at the edge of desert basin can be an optimized strategy for sustainable development of ecological and economic in similar MBSs of the arid regions of Central Asia. • A sustainable cultivated grassland is of significance to mountain-basin system. • The emergy and economic analysis are integrated to obtain the comprehensive results. • The sown systems need outside resource and were driven by nonrenewable emergy flow. • Alfalfa-sudangrass intercropped system is superior by both economic and emergy view. • The sustainability of systems can improve by optimized irrigation and fertilization.
