Family satisfaction is identified as a multidimensional concept that arises from family dynamics, conditioned by spatio-temporal coordinates or the psycho-evolutionary moment of the human being. This descriptive-inferential, cross-sectional and quantitative research aims to find out the influence of personal and school variables on the perception of family satisfaction among secondary school students living in rural areas. A total of 546 adolescents participated in the completion of a questionnaire. The results show that gender is not a significant variable. However, family satisfaction decreases in foreign adolescents, and with increasing age and grade, and increases with better grades. There are various ways of assessing the effectiveness of family leisure. On a psychological level, the emotional effects of family leisure are of great importance. In fact, it has been widely demonstrated that socio-educational phenomena such as this have an impact on the integral development of students in stages as sensitive and important as adolescence. With the main purpose of identifying whether there is a significant relationship between family satisfaction and family leisure, a study was designed in which 1054 adolescents from the Region of Murcia participated by filling in the ad hoc questionnaire “Evaluation of family leisure practices. Questionnaire for adolescents”. The results highlight that conflicts during leisure time have a negative impact on family satisfaction, while all the descriptors related to the strengths of family leisure are identified as positive conditioning elements. In terms of typology, sport-, gastronomic-and tourist-related leisure are held to be the most beneficial. As for the agents involved, the most important is the family itself. In this way, the importance of family leisure practices within the field of psychology as an entity of personal and family development is highlighted, which must be considered by administrations and research centers in order to ensure its promotion and recognition. Faced with the new scenario caused by the period of lockdown, schools and teachers had to redirect their education methods with regard to different aspects, including homework. The main objective of this descriptive-inferential, cross-sectional, non-experimental and quantitative study is to identify the quantity, difficulty and types of homework done during the period of lockdown, according to the type of centre, stage of education and the presence of educational needs, with a sample of 1,787 families. The results show that parents perceive that homework during lockdown was characterised by a greater quantity, difficulty, individualisation and technologization. Regarding school variables, the stage of education significantly modifies the perception of the difficulty, quantity and types of homework. Moreover, the presence of special educational needs influences the difficulty, and ownership of the centre influences the exercise of individual or group tasks. In conclusion, the need is highlighted for families to be counselled in Secondary Education and for teachers to receive better training with regard to homework for pupils with special educational needs. Smart schools prioritise work in the educational community, identifying the participation of families as an opportunity, rather than a form of intrusiveness. There are currently a multitude of ways of sharing education with families, ranging from communication to training, with teachers being the driving force in promoting the different roles that families can assume. In this respect, the aim of this cross-sectional, evaluative, non-experimental and quantitative study is to establish the family participation facilitation profiles of 542 teachers working in schools in a multicultural municipality in the autonomous community of the Region of Murcia, in south-eastern Spain. They completed a validated questionnaire with 91 items regarding the different dimensions of family participation, carrying out a cluster analysis to determine the teacher facilitation profiles. The results obtained from the application of the questionnaire show two statistically differentiated teaching profiles. The first of these, with a smaller number of teachers, with fewer years of experience and linked to the pre-primary and secondary stages in public schools, shows less participation in all the modalities considered. In contrast, the profile with the greatest commitment to promoting participation is characterised by having a greater number of teachers, predominantly from state-subsidised centres, that are experienced and linked to the primary stage. In relation to the previous literature, it was possible to confirm the presence of a differentiated profile, finding, on the one hand, teachers interested in the involvement of families and, on the other hand, teachers who do not identify the family–school relationship as a priority. This highlights the need to improve the prior and ongoing training of teachers to raise awareness and sensitise them to the inclusion of families in the educational community. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This descriptive-inferential research aims to compare the parental assessment of 1,787 families with respect to schoolwork in times of confinement according to the nationality and level of education of the families. The results show that immigrant families identify more changes in schoolwork in all aspects except for emotional exhaustion. In addition, the educational level of both parents has a significant impact on some study variables such as emotional distress, perceived increase in time spent on homework and promotion of the positive effects of homework.
