Family satisfaction is identified as a multidimensional concept that arises from family dynamics, conditioned by spatio-temporal coordinates or the psycho-evolutionary moment of the human being. This descriptive-inferential, cross-sectional and quantitative research aims to find out the influence of personal and school variables on the perception of family satisfaction among secondary school students living in rural areas. A total of 546 adolescents participated in the completion of a questionnaire. The results show that gender is not a significant variable. However, family satisfaction decreases in foreign adolescents, and with increasing age and grade, and increases with better grades. This underlines the need to articulate public policies and concrete actions in schools. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
