Four novel lanthanide coordination compounds, namely, [Eu 2 (bzgluO) 3 (phen) 2 ] n ·2nH 2 O (1); [Tb 2 (bzgluO) 3 (phen) 2 ] n ·2nH 2 O (2); [Eu 2 (tsgluO) 3 (H 2 O) 4 ] n ⋅4nH 2 O (3); [Eu 2 (tsgluO) 3 (phen) 2 (H 2 O)] n ⋅2nH 2 O (4); (H 2 bzgluO = N -Benzoyl- L -glutamic acid, H 2 tsgluO = (+)- N -Tosyl- L -glutamic acid, phen = 1,10-phenanthroline) have been successfully synthesized under hydrothermal conditions and structurally characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis and powder X-ray diffraction. Lanthanide coordination compounds 1 and 2 crystallize in the orthorhombic space group P 2 1 2 1 2 1 , they are isostructural and exhibit the 2D layer structures. Complexes 3 and 4 crystallize in the triclinic space group P ī, complex 3 features a 2D layer structure, complex 4 exhibits the 1D infinite double chain. It is worth noting that the amino acid derivative ligands adopt different coordination modes in the lanthanide coordination polymers to make the crystal structures diverse. Additionally, fluorescent properties study indicates that complexes 1 and 4 show characteristic transitions of Eu3+, and the complex 2 shows characteristic transitions of Tb3+. Data were analysed by descriptive analysis, Mann–Whitney U‐test, Kruskal–Wallis H‐test, Pearson or Spearman correlation, hierarchical regression analysis and mediation analysis.PSF had a significant positive total effect on PSD (β = .354, 95% CI: .251, .454). Additionally, FOP and resilience played a partial parallel‐mediating role in the relationship between PSF and PSD (β = .202, 95% CI: .140, .265), and the total indirect effect accounted for 57.06% of the total effect.FOP and resilience parallelly mediated the effect of PSF on PSD, which may provide a novel perspective for healthcare professionals in preventing PSD. Background: Nursing students encounter various stressors during their clinical practicum; however, the stressors are not the same during different periods. At present, studies on the stressors and coping styles of nursing students in the middle period of their clinical practicum are rare. Aims: The current study aimed to explore the stressors and coping styles of nursing students in the middle period of their clinical practicum. Methods: A qualitative study with a descriptive phenomenological method was conducted to collect data from 10 nursing students undergoing the middle period of their clinical practicum from December 2020 to February 2021. The data were collected by semistructured interviews using interview outlines prepared in advance. The data were analyzed by Colaizzi's analysis method. Results: The stressors experienced by nursing students in the middle period of their clinical practicum mainly included personal reasons, teaching arrangements, interpersonal relationships, occupational particularity and career planning. Additionally, nursing students coped with the stressors that they face in the clinical practicum by eliminating stressors and regulating emotions. Conclusions: Nursing students experienced various stressors and used a variety of coping styles in the middle period of their clinical practicum, which was different from what occurred in the early and late periods. The pickled radish can be kept at room temperature for years without spoilage. 2,6-dihydroxyacetophenone (DHAP), 4-hydroxybenzaldehyde (HBA), and 4-hydroxyphenethyl alcohol (4-HPEA) were first found from the pickled radish. The structures of three phenolic compounds were elucidated by analysis of their nuclear magnetic resonance and high-resolution electro-spray ionization mass spectrometry data. All these phenolic compounds showed good free radical scavenging capacity except HBA. Both DHAP and 4-HPEA also showed high ferric reducing ability. DHAP showed good antimicrobial activity against Escherichia coli , Bacillus subtilis , and Canidia albicans. HBA demonstrated antimicrobial activity against E. coli and C. albicans but not B. subtilis. Based on the results of MTT assay, these compounds did not show cytotoxicity to LO2 cell line. All results indicated the pickled radish had antioxidant and antimicrobial phenolic compounds. To the best of our knowledge, this report is the first to answer partially the question of why pickled foods can be kept at room temperature for years without spoilage based on the evidence of three phenolic compounds. • Four novel chiral coordination compounds based on N -acetyl- l -phenylalanine ligand were constructed by a mixed ligand strategy. • The structures of compounds 1 – 3 with cadmium(Ⅱ) as the center metal ion changes from 0D, 1D to 2D. • Compounds 3 and 4 can highly selectively detect Fe3+ and nitrobenzene in aqueous solutions. Four novel d10 transition metal chiral coordination compounds Cd(L -acphe) 2 (H 2 O) 2 (1), {[Cd(L -acphe) 2 (bpe)(H 2 O)]·2·5H 2 O} n (2), {[Cd(L -acphe) 2 (4,4′-bipy)(H 2 O)]·H 2 O} n (3), {[Zn 2 (L -acphe) 2 (bpp) 2 (OH)]NO 3 ·2H 2 O} n (4) (L -Hacphe = N- acetyl- l -phenylalanine, 4,4′-bipy = 4,4′-bipyridine, bpe = 1,2-bis (4-pyridyl)ethane, bpp = 1,3-bis(4-pyridyl)propane) have been synthesized by changing central metal ions and N-containing auxiliary ligands. Their structures were determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis and characterized by elemental analysis, infrared spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, powder X-ray diffraction and circular dichroism. The structures of compounds 1 – 3 with cadmium(Ⅱ) as the center metal ion change from 0D, 1D to 2D, ultimately compound 1 generates a 2D supramolecular structure via hydrogen bonding, while compounds 2 and 3 expand to 3D supramolecular structures through hydrogen bonding. The compound 4 with zinc(Ⅱ) as the center metal ion feature 1D chain structures, and 3D supramolecular structure of compound 4 is formed by hydrogen bonding. The present results indicate that selecting central metals with different electronic structures and introducing different N-containing auxiliary ligands could achieve the regulation of the structures of compounds. In addition, the fluorescence recognition properties of compounds 3 and 4 demonstrate that they can highly selectively detect Fe3+ and nitrobenzene in aqueous solutions through fluorescence quenching, indicating that compounds 3 and 4 are expected to become bifunctional fluorescence recognition sensors for the detection of Fe3+ ions and nitrobenzene. Three new Pb(II) coordination polymers, namely [Pb 2 (mand) 2 ] n (1), {[Pb(L -Hmand)(NO 3)(5,5′-DM-2,2′-bipy)]·2H 2 O} n (2- L ), {[Pb(D -Hmand)(NO 3)(5,5′-DM-2,2′-bipy)]·2H 2 O} n (2- D ) (H 2 mand = D / L -mandelic acid, 5,5′-DM-2,2′-bipy = 5,5′-dimethyl-2,2′-bipyridyl), have been prepared. Their structures have been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses and further characterized by elemental analyses, powder X-ray diffraction and thermogravimetric analyses. Complex 1 crystallizes in the triclinic system with space group P -1, and displays a 2D layer structure. Complexes 2- L and 2- D are pairs of enantiomers. They crystallize in the same chiral space group P 2 1 2 1 2 1 and feature a 1D chain structure. The influence of the temperature and steric-hinerance of 5,5′-dimethyl-2,2′-dipyridyl molecules on constructing enantiomeric Pb(II) coordination polymers based on chiral mandelic acid ligands have been demonstrated. In addition, the circular dichroism (CD) spectroscopy of 2- L and 2- D exhibit obvious positive or negative Cotton effects indicating their homochirality.
