This paper is concerned with the initial-boundary value problem on the full Euler-- Poisson system for ions over a half line. We establish the existence of stationary solutions under the Bohm criterion similar to the isentropic case and further obtain the large time asymptotic stability of small-amplitude stationary solutions provided that the initial perturbation is sufficiently small in some weighted Sobolev spaces. Moreover, the convergence rate of the solution toward the stationary solution is obtained. The proof is based on the energy method. A key point is to capture the positivity of the temporal energy dissipation functional and boundary terms with suitable space weight functions either algebraic or exponential depending on whether or not the incoming far-field velocity is critical. This paper summarizes the arguments within the scientific discussion on the investigation of human resource management of willingness and ability of long-term care insurance. The main purpose of the research is to investigate human resource management of willingness and ability of long-term care insurance considering the innovative international experience and the case of Henan province in China. Systematization literary sources and approaches for solving how the person could be motivated to use long-term care insurance indicate that this goal could be reached by issuing questionnaires. The relevance of the decision of this scientific problem is that the demand for long-term care insurance, domestic and foreign scholars mainly use questionnaire survey to conduct quantitative and qualitative research. Investigation of the proposed topic in the paper is carried out in the following logical sequence: the method of expert analysis allowed forming the survey of long-term care insurance. The research's theoretical and methodological basics are general scientific and special methods of certain economic phenomena and processes' cognition. The dialectical method was used to synthesize theoretical and methodological foundations of human resource management of willingness and ability of long-term care insurance foreign countries and China and formulate conclusions. Methodological tools of the research methods were respondents from January 20, 2020, until the end of March 31, 2020. The paper presents the results of the empirical analysis that the proportion of those willing to participate in the long-term care insurance system with an income of «less than 2,000 yuan» is 65.4%; the proportion of those willing to participate in the long-term care insurance system with an income of «2000-4000 yuan» is 69.0%, and the proportion of those willing to participate in the long-term care insurance system with an income of «4000-6000 yuan» is 74.1%. The regression analysis as the statistical method was used to determine whether and to what extent dependent and independent variables are significant. The research empirically confirms and theoretically proves that the factors of the insurance awareness model and the regression of Q24 «are you willing to participate in the long-term care insurance system» are not significant, indicating that the insurance awareness factor is not an influential factor for the old-age care insurance demand. Therefore, the original hypothesis was denied, and the insurance consciousness model factors became not significantly related to the willingness of demand for long-term care insurance. The research results could be useful for those who have a deal with responsible staff, but for this reason, some indicators could influence his behavior. Summing up the results of the held scientific research it could be done the following recommendations. First of all, strengthening publicity and standardize management of long-term care insurance system. Secondly, that should be accelerated the development of the nursing industry with aging, chronic diseases, and other increasingly serious, China's medical resources are very scarce, especially in the nursing industry. Thirdly, it would be progressive if China absorbed the foreign long-term care insurance experience. Background: Post-stroke cognitive impairment (PSCI) is commonest clinical disorder in which peripheral cholinergic activity is important. Oleuropein (OLP) is polyphenol is present in olive oil. Here we evaluated the effect of OLP in cognitive dysfunction rats in post cerebral stroke model. Methods: The post cerebral stroke cognitive dysfunction PSD rat model was created by occlusion of transient middle cerebral artery. The rats were divided into 6 groups named, Sham + Vehicle, Sham + OLP (50 mg/kg), PSD rats + Vehicle, PSD rats + OLP (20, 50 or 100 mg/kg). The spatial learning was assessed by Morris water maze (MWM). The expression of choline acetyltransferase (ChAT), acetylcholine (ACH), extent of histone acetylation and phosphorylation of cAMP response element-binding protein (CREB) were evaluated by Western blot assay and immunofluorescence staining. Results: Treatment of OLP at various doses showed higher number of spontaneous and rewarded alterations and lesser percentage bias compared to vehicle treated PSD rats. OLP resulted in decreased levels of ChAT and ACH, whereas the degree of histone acetylation and phosphorylation of CREB improved in dose dependent pattern. Conclusion: treatment of OLP improved PSCI via increasing the phosphorylation of CREB and histone acetylation, thus attenuating cholinergic activity. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Background: Capsaicin (CAP) has an anti-obesity effect that has been shown to involve the transient receptor potential vanilloid-1 (TRPV1) channel. Importantly, recent studies in high fat diet (HFD)-fed mice show that CAP also alters gut microbiota composition and causes weight loss in HFD-fed mice. Many studies have suggested that short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs) mediate the links between diet, gut microbiota, and fat storage. Objective: The present study investigated whether CAP exerted its anti-obesity effect through changes in the composition of gut microbiota and SCFAs, and whether the TRPV1 contributes to CAP's effects against obesity in HFD-fed mice. Design: C57BL/6J (TRPV1+/+) and B6.129X1-Trpv1tm1Jul/J (TRPV1-/-) mice were respectively divided into three groups (n = 6),that is SLD, HFD-fed, and CAP (2 mg/kg, po) +HFD fed and were administered respective treatment for 12 weeks. Results: We observed significantly lower weight gain and food intake, triglyceride, cholesterol, glucose, and insulin levels in HFD+CAP-fed TRPV1knockout (KO) mice compared to the HFD-fed KO mice, though this effect was more obvious in wild-type (WT) mice. CAP increased the numbers of Akkermansia, Prevotella, Bacteroides, Odoribacter, Allobaculum, Coprococcus, and S24-7, and reduced the numbers of Desulfovibrio, Escherichia, Helicobacter, and Sutterella in the HFD+CAP-fed WT and KO mice compared with HFD-fed WT and KO mice. CAP increased the relative abundances of SCFAs producing the bacterial species, which increased intestinal acetate and propionate concentrations, which were beneficial in prevention and treatment of obesity. Conclusions: Results from our study indicate that the reduced food intake and anti-obesity effect of CAP had been observed regardless of TRPV1 channel activation, and which is mediated by changes in the gut microbiota populations and SCFAs concentrations. Objectives: Self-reported sleep disorders are common in older adults, resulting in serious consequences. Non-pharmacological measures are important complementary interventions, among which Taichi exercise is a popular alternative. Some experiments have been performed; however, the effect of Taichi exercise in improving sleep quality in older people has yet to be validated by systematic review. Using systematic review and meta-analysis, this study aimed to examine the efficacy of Taichi exercise in promoting self-reported sleep quality in older adults. Design: Systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled studies. Data sources: 4 English databases: Pubmed, Cochrane Library, Web of Science and CINAHL, and 4 Chinese databases: CBMdisc, CNKI, VIP, and Wanfang database were searched through December 2013. Review methods: Two reviewers independently selected eligible trials, conducted critical appraisal of the methodological quality by using the quality appraisal criteria for randomized controlled studies recommended by Cochrane Handbook. A standardized data form was used to extract information. Meta-analysis was performed. Results: Five randomized controlled studies met inclusion criteria. All suffered from some methodological flaws.The results of this study showed that Taichi has large beneficial effect on sleep quality in older people, as indicated by decreases in the global Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index score [standardized mean difference = -0.87,95% confidence intervals (95% confidence interval) (-1.25, -0.49)], as well as its sub-domains of subjective sleep quality [ standardized mean difference = -0.83,95% confidence interval (-1.08, -0.57)], sleep latency [ standardized mean difference = -0.75, 95% confidence interval (-1.42, -0.07)], sleep duration [standardized mean difference = -0.55, 95% confidence interval (-0.90, -0.21)], habitual sleep efficiency [standardized mean difference = -0.49, 95% confidence interval (-0.74, -0.23)], sleep disturbance [standardized mean difference = -0.44, 95% confidence interval (-0.69, -0.19)], and daytime dysfunction [standardized mean difference = -0.34, 95% confidence interval (--0.59, --0.09)]. Daytime sleepiness improvement was also observed. Conclusions: Weak evidence shows that Taichi exercise has a beneficial effect in improving self-rated sleep quality for older adults, suggesting that Taichi could be an effective alternative and complementary approach to existing therapies for older people with sleep problems.
