Gingival neurofibroma is rare lesion in patients with neurofibromatosis TYPE 1 Delayed tooth eruption may be the first sign for patients to visit the hospital in patients with undiagnostic neurofibromatosis TYPE 1 associated with gingival neurofibromatosis. The jaw deformities include intra bony jaw lesions, such as widened mandibular canals and enlarged mandibular foramina.6 In the first case a ten year old patient presented with gingival hyperplasia around the unerupted tooth, and the histologic examination confirmed gingival neurofibroma. Gingival hyperplasia is a common manifestation in paediatric patients with NF-1, and increases according to patient age. [Extracted from the article]
