[Display omitted] Phase junctions exhibit great potential in photocatalytic energy conversion, yet the narrow light response region and inefficient charge transfer limit their photocatalytic performance. Herein, an anatase/rutile phase junction modified by plasmonic TiN and oxygen vacancies (TiN/(A-R-TiO 2 -Ov)) is prepared through an in-situ thermal transformation from TiN for efficient photothermal-assisted photocatalytic hydrogen production for the first time. The content of TiN, oxygen vacancies, and phase components in TiN/(A-R-TiO 2 -Ov) hybrids can be well-adjusted by tuning the heating time. The as-prepared photocatalysts display a large specific area and wide light absorption due to the synergistic effect of plasmonic excitation, oxygen vacancies, and bandgap excitations. Meanwhile, the multi-interfaces between TiN, anatase, and rutile provide built-in electric fields for efficient separation of photoinduced carriers and hot electron injection via ohmic contact and type-Ⅱ band arrangement. As a result, the TiN/(A-R-TiO 2 -Ov) photocatalyst shows an excellent photocatalytic hydrogen generation rate of 15.07 mmol/g/h, which is 20.6 times higher than that of titanium dioxide P25. Moreover, temperature-dependent photocatalytic tests reveal that the excellent photothermal conversion caused by plasmonic heating and crystal lattice vibrations in TiN/(A-R-TiO 2 -Ov) has about 25 % enhancement in photocatalysis (18.84 mmol/g/h). The occurrence of the “structural-loss” defect during single-crystal silicon growth (SCSG) is a significant issue in semiconductor manufacturing. When structural-loss occurs, it signifies a deviation from the desired quality of single-crystal formation, leading to the need to halt the growth process. Currently, there is a lack of scholarly literature addressing the determination of an optimal stopping time to promptly halt the process upon the occurrence of the defect on-line. Our research makes a substantial contribution by addressing this gap in the SCSG process, specifically focusing on orientations <100> and <111>. The study utilizes advanced AI with YOLO-v7 and innovative approaches. These include precise annotation of crystal misorientation features through a comprehensive definition of structural-loss and novel labeling techniques, identification of optimal hyper-parameters through a robust design, and the implementation of effective stopping rule mechanisms. Significant progress has been achieved in decision-making through the implementation of the stoping time shift to terminate the SCSG process within an average of less than 3 minutes for <100> orientations (with a standard error of 0.3 minutes) and less than 5 minutes for <111> orientations (with a standard error of 0.5 minutes). The promising results indicate that the proposed approaches have the capability to substitute manual inspections, opening up possibilities for new perspectives in this particular field. Summary: A systematic review and meta‐analysis was conducted to evaluate the relative effectiveness of different dietary macronutrient patterns on changes in resting energy expenditure (REE) in relation to weight loss, categorized as minimal (<5%) and moderate to high (>5%). Changes in REE were assessed using a DerSimonian and Laird random‐effects meta‐analysis. A diet lower in carbohydrates (CHO) or higher in fat and protein was associated with smaller reductions in REE, with these trends being more pronounced among participants who experienced moderate to high weight loss. Adjusted meta‐regression analysis indicated that, within the participants who experienced moderate to high weight loss, each 1% increase in CHO intake was associated with a reduction of 2.30 kcal/day in REE (95% CI: −4.11 to −0.47, p = 0.013). In contrast, a 1% increase in protein and fat intake was correlated with an increase in REE by 3.00 (95% confidence interval [CI] [1.02, 5.07], p = 0.003) and 0.5 (95% CI [−2.43, 3.41], p = 0.740) kcal/day, respectively. No significant associations were found among participants who experienced minimal weight loss. These findings indicate that, under a caloric deficit, the impact of dietary macronutrient composition on REE may vary depending on the degree of weight loss and individual metabolic responses. The Common Black Carp Strain (Cyprinus carpio var. baisenensis), known for its black skin, is commonly cultured in the integrated rice-agriculture (IRA) system in Guangxi province, China. This study aimed to compare the genetic diversity of three common carp strains/populations (Common Black Carp Strain, Huanghe, and Songpu) using resequencing data. The genome-based method reveals a significant difference (p < 0.05) in identified loci and SNP frequency (p < 1 × 10−6) between the Songpu (Sp) or mirror carp and Huanghe (Hh) new strain. Additionally, the Common Black Carp Strain (Bk) exhibits a higher number of Tajima's D values, possibly due to its population size and mutations within its entire genome. The average value of population nucleotide diversity (π) for the Bk is 1.706 × 10−4 while the mean number for the Hh and Sp strains is 1.691 × 10−4 Heterozygosity analysis results indicate that the Bk has the highest F coefficient compared to the Sp and Hh hybrids. This suggests that the isolated population of the Bk may have experienced a decrease in population size as a result of environmental disturbances in the IRA system. PCA results further reveal that all individuals of the Bk, except for one, are clustered together, while individuals of the Hh form a separate group. On the other hand, Sp displays a distinct distribution pattern. The comparative study of the genetic diversity of the Bk provides baseline data on its genome makeup. A diaphragm pump is a type of volumetric pump that has excellent sealing performance. An electromagnetic diaphragm pump is a kind of widely adopted diaphragm pump that has a simple structure, low power loss, and high cost performance. However, the calculation method of deformation for the electromagnetic diaphragm pump rubber diaphragm is presently lacking. Herein, a calculating method of deformation for the electromagnetic diaphragm pump rubber diaphragm is proposed. By establishing and analyzing a deformation model of the electromagnetic diaphragm pump rubber diaphragm, a theoretical relationship between the deformation of the electromagnetic diaphragm pump rubber diaphragm, the size of the electromagnetic diaphragm pump rubber diaphragm and the pressure of fluid is determined. The experimental results indicate that the biggest difference between the tested axial deformation and the calculated axial deformation of the electromagnetic diaphragm pump rubber diaphragm is 0.04 mm and the calculation results show agreement with the experimental results. Under many interactive environments in the real world, there is often a need to evaluate the minimization effects and subsequent allocation outcomes derived from these interactions under multiple considerations. For instance, in the context of product sales, it is necessary to evaluate how to minimize the manufacturing costs of various producing factors, and sometimes, from a holistic perspective, it may even be necessary to evaluate situations with minimal sales benefits. On the other hand, in order to evaluate related effects derived from interactions and subsequent allocation outcomes, many game-theoretical studies are based on interactive models to formulate evaluating mechanisms, and then they apply axiomatic processes to analyze the rationality of these mechanisms. Therefore, this study first proposes a mechanism for evaluating the minimization effects and subsequent allocation outcomes under multiple considerations. Additionally, considering that different environmental impacts result from varying participation factors, this study also presents several weighted derivatives based on participation factors and their behaviors. Purpose: Facilitating members' continual participation in a community is crucial for ensuring the community's long-term survival. However, knowledge regarding whether member similarity is related to member participation and the mechanism underlying this relationship is limited. Drawing on similarity–attraction, social exchange and social identity theories, this study explored the influences of different facets of similarity (i.e. value, personality and goal similarity) on group norm conformity, group identity and social participation. Design/methodology/approach: Data were collected from 444 Taiwanese members of social networking sites (SNSs), and structural equation modeling was employed to examine the hypothesized relationships. Findings: The results revealed that value similarity directly affected group norm conformity but did not directly affect group identity; personality similarity influenced group identity but not group norm conformity. Goal similarity had positive influences on group norm conformity and group identity. Moreover, group norm conformity had direct and positive influences on group identity and social participation; group identity also had a positive influence on social participation. Originality/value: On the basis of the aforementioned findings, this study contributes to the understanding of factors facilitating SNS members' participation from the perspective of similarity. Intramuscular fat refers to the adipose tissue distributed in the muscle. It is an important indicator that affects the quality of goat meat, and can directly affect the tenderness and flavor of goat meat. Our previous study revealed the mRNA that may be crucial for intramuscular fat deposition during goat growth; however, how the microRNAs (miRNAs) are involved in the process is largely unclear. In the present study, a total of 401 known miRNAs and 120 goat novel miRNAs, including 110 differentially expressed (DE) miRNAs, were identified among longissimus dorsi from three growth stages (2, 9, and 24 months) by miRNA sequencing. Combining analysis of the DE mRNAs and DE miRNAs was then performed by miRDB and miRwalk, and miR‐145‐5p and FOXO1, miR‐487b‐3p, and PPARG coactivator 1 α (PPARGC1A), miR‐345‐3p, and solute carrier family 2 member 4 (SLC2A4), etc. were shown to closely associate with lipid metabolism, which was then validated by a correlation analysis. The final DE mRNAs were significantly enriched in fatty acid transmembrane transport, fatty acid homeostasis, apelin signaling pathway, glucagon signaling pathway, insulin signaling pathway, and AMPK signaling pathway by gene ontology and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes analysis. Besides, miR‐145‐5p showed a certain effect on goat intramuscular fat metabolism by acting on the possible target gene Forkhead Box O1 (FOXO1). Background: Cryoballoon ablation for atrial fibrillation (AF) requires adequate contact between the pulmonary vein (PV) antrum and cryoballoon. The surge of intraballoon pressure during the initial phase of ablation may change the balloon's shape and compliance, resulting in balloon dislodgement and loss of PV occlusion. Without continuous monitoring, this phenomenon is often undetected but can be associated with incomplete PV isolation (PVI). Methods: Primary cryoablation of AF was performed in 15 patients. PV occlusion status pre‐ and post‐freezing were analyzed with intracardiac echocardiography (ICE) and dielectric imaging‐based occlusion tool (DIOT) to calculate the incidence of expansion dislodgement of cryoballoon. Results: A total of 105 cryoablation applications were performed on 57 veins, including three common ostiums of left pulmonary veins. In the evaluation of PV occlusion, both modalities reported consistent results in 86.7% of the assessments. Despite complete PV occlusion before ablation, peri‐balloon leak after initiation of freezing was detected by ICE in 5/22 (22.7%) applications and by DIOT in 8/25 (32%) applications. Conclusion: Incidence of expansion dislodgement of the cryoballoon was detected in one‐fourth to one‐third of cryoablation applications depending on the imaging modality used, which was clinically frequent and significant. Hydnum (Hydnaceae, Cantharellales), one of the edible ectomycorrhizal mushrooms, is of considerable ecological and economic importance. Although previous studies have focused on the genus in China, the diversity still remains incompletely understood. In the present study, in addition to the known species from China being reviewed, six phylogenetic species from the country were described/redescribed, which included a new species: H. erectum, and five known taxa: H. cremeoalbum, H. minus, H. orientalbidum, H. tenuistipitum, and H. treui; H. treui is new to China. Detailed descriptions, color photographs of fresh basidiomata, and line drawings of microstructures of them are presented. A key to the accepted species of Hydnum in China is also provided. Chimeric antigen receptor (CAR)-T-cell therapy has greatly improved outcomes for patients with relapsed or refractory hematological malignancies. However, challenges such as treatment resistance, relapse, and severe toxicity still hinder its widespread clinical application. Traditional transcriptome analysis has provided limited insights into the complex transcriptional landscape of both leukemia cells and engineered CAR-T-cells, as well as their interactions within the tumor microenvironment. However, with the advent of single-cell sequencing techniques, a paradigm shift has occurred, providing robust tools to unravel the complexities of these factors. These techniques enable an unbiased analysis of cellular heterogeneity and molecular patterns. These insights are invaluable for precise receptor design, guiding gene-based T-cell modification, and optimizing manufacturing conditions. Consequently, this review utilizes modern single-cell sequencing techniques to clarify the transcriptional intricacies of leukemia cells and CAR-Ts. The aim of this manuscript is to discuss the potential mechanisms that contribute to the clinical failures of CAR-T immunotherapy. We examine the biological characteristics of CAR-Ts, the mechanisms that govern clinical responses, and the intricacies of adverse events. By exploring these aspects, we hope to gain a deeper understanding of CAR-T therapy, which will ultimately lead to improved clinical outcomes and broader therapeutic applications. Introduction: The circular catheter compatible with current cryoballoon system for atrial fibrillation (AF) ablation is exclusively sensed by impedance‐based electro‐anatomical mapping (EAM) system, limiting the accuracy of maps. We aim to investigate the feasibility and safety of a magnetic‐based circular mapping catheter for AF ablation with cryoballoon. Methods: Nineteen consecutive patients who underwent pulmonary vein isolation (PVI) with cryoballoon for paroxysmal or persistent AF were included. EAMs of left atrium (LA) created by the LASSOSTAR™NAV catheter (Lassostar map) before and after PVI were compared to that generated by a high‐density mapping catheter (Pentaray map) from different aspects including structural similarity, PV angle, LA posterior wall (LAPW) and low voltage areas (LVAs), and the amplitude of far field electrograms (FFEs) recorded by catheters. Results: All patients had successful PVI without major complications. With similar mapping time and density, the LA volume calculated from the Pentaray map and Lassostar map were comparable. There were no significant differences in PV angle of all PVs and PW area (16.8 ± 3.2 vs. 17.1 ± 2.8, p =.516) between Pentaray map and Lassostar map. High structural similarity score was observed between two maps (0.783 in RAO/LAO view and 0.791 in PA view). Lassostar map detected lesser but not statistically significant extension of LVA (13.9% vs. 18.3%, p =.07). Amplitude of FFE was larger at the right superior PV on Lassostar map (0.21 ± 0.16 vs. 0.14 ± 0.11 mV, p =.041) compared to that on the Pentaray map. Conclusion: In our initial experience, PVI with cryoballoon and magnetic‐based circular LASSOSTAR™NAV catheter was safe and effective based on the accurate LA geometry it created. Emotional labor has been a focal point in occupational well-being literature, but studies have long overlooked an important group of emotional laborers: performers. This research represents a pioneering effort to examine dancers' adoption of emotional labor strategies, their antecedent of self-consciousness, and the outcome of flow experience. We explored these elements both in the traditional setting of stage dancing and in the novel context of online dance classes without on-site spectators during the COVID-19 pandemic. The results revealed that dancers employed all three common emotional labor strategies: surface acting, deep acting, and expression of naturally felt emotions, with deep acting being the most frequent. In the traditional setting, only the expression of naturally felt emotions mediated the positive effect of private self-consciousness and the negative effect of public self-consciousness on flow experience. In contrast, in the online setting, only private self-consciousness impacted flow through the mediation of deep acting and expression of naturally felt emotions. This exploratory study bridges dramaturgy-originated theories of emotional labor with empirical performing arts research, preliminarily advancing knowledge in the relevant fields of dance education, self-presentation, and flow studies. An electric wheel hybrid power system is designed for driving a large single-aisle passenger aircraft during the take-off and ground taxi phases, which consists of an APU, an energy storage system, and a motor. In the taxi phase, the electric wheel hybrid power system works alone, and the turbofan engine does not work, reducing fuel consumption and pollution emissions. During the take-off rolling phase, the electric wheel hybrid power system and turbofan engine work together to reduce the thrust requirement of the turbofan engine. This article establishes an aircraft kinematic model, hybrid power system model, and a mechanical wheel model. The feasibility of the collaborative work of the electric wheels and the turbofan engines is verified by simulations. By utilizing the established hybrid system of electric motor wheels, the fuel consumption can be reduced, and the emissions of CO, HC, and NOX can also be diminished to varying degrees. The input of motor power leads to lower turbine inlet temperature, thereby enhancing the turbofan engine's service life by approximately 4.3% and saving operational costs. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Background: The influence of the breast as the primary site on the outcome of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) and further changes in therapeutic strategies remain unclear. We aimed to compare the outcomes between primary breast and non-breast DLBCL and analyze the genetic profiles of some of the study cohorts using next-generation sequencing. Methods: This matched-pair study reviewed the medical records of 19 patients with stage I and II primary breast DLBCL diagnosed between January 2005 and December 2021 on the basis of the Wiseman and Liao criteria, and we used 1:4 propensity score matching to identify patients with non-breast DLBCL as the control group. The overall response rate, progression-free survival (PFS), and overall survival (OS) were the outcome measures. Results: Patients with primary breast and non-breast DLBCL had a 5-year PFS of 72.6% and 86.9%, respectively (P =.206). These 2 groups also had comparable 5-year OS (86.9% vs 87.8%; P =.772). The breast as the primary site was not associated with inferior PFS (hazard ratio [HR]: 2.14; 95% CI: 0.66-6.96; P =.206) and OS (HR: 1.26; 95% CI: 0.27-5.93; P =.772). Conclusion: Patients with primary breast DLBCL and those with non-breast DLBCL had comparable PFS and OS under rituximab, cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine, and prednisone (R-CHOP) or R-CHOP-like regimens. Constructing effective electrocatalysts based on ultrafine heterostructures is a promising strategy for boosting catalytic performance by exposing active sites and increasing specific surface area. However, the fabrication of catalytically active heterostructures with elaborate architectures is still poorly developed owing to synthetic challenges, and the intrinsic mechanism of heterogeneous interfaces remains unclear because of insufficient evidence regarding real active sites. In this study, ultrafine homologous Ni2P–Co2P heterostructures (Ni2P–Co2P/C) are created using a topological transformation strategy from a Ni–Co layered double hydroxide/carbon (Ni–Co LDH/C) interconnected structure in a single nanosheet. When employed as catalysts in urea oxidation reaction (UOR), the Ni2P–Co2P/C heterostructures exhibit superior activity and stability, attributed to the optimized geometric and electronic structures of the catalytic sites. Specifically, it takes an ultralow potential of 1.27 V to reach a current density of 10 mA cm−2 with a small Tafel slope of 28.71 mV dec−1. The operando analyses and calculation results reveal that cobalt incorporation can reduce the generation potential of the surface reconstructive active species and optimize the absorption/desorption energy of the intermediates. Overall, this study proposes an efficient and cost‐effective UOR electrocatalyst and offers a new high‐performance homologous heterostructure design for widespread application. Electromagnetic diaphragm pump is a kind of widely applied diaphragm pump that has promising sealing performance, simple structure and low power loss. Planar pole electromagnet is a significant component of the electromagnetic diaphragm pump. However, the sharply changing displacement-force characteristics of the planar pole electromagnet do not match the constant load characteristics of the electromagnetic diaphragm pump. Herein, an electromagnet with variable pole area is put forward. A theoretical relationship between structural parameters, the Ampere turns and the electromagnetic force of the electromagnet with variable pole area is determined by analyzing the equivalent magnetic circuit of the electromagnet with variable pole area. The experimental results imply that the initial electromagnetic force of the electromagnet with variable pole area is 32.51% larger than the planar pole electromagnet, the engaging electromagnetic force of the electromagnet with variable pole area is 22.3% smaller than the planar pole electromagnet and the displacement-force characteristics of the electromagnet with variable pole area match the constant load characteristics of the electromagnetic diaphragm pump. Emotional labor has been a focal point in occupational well-being literature, but studies have long overlooked an important group of emotional laborers: performers. Introduction: Pineal region tumors (PRTs) are tumors arising from the pineal gland and the paraspinal structures. These tumors are rare and heterogeneous that account for 2.8–10.1% and 0.6–3.2% of tumors in children and in all ages, respectively. Almost all types and subtypes of CNS tumors may be diagnosed in this region. These tumors come from cells of the pineal gland (pinealocytes and neuroglial cells), ectopic primordial germ cells (PGC), and cells from adjacent structures. Hence, PRTs are consisted of pineal parenchyma tumors (PPTs), germ cell tumors (GCTs), neuroepithelial tumors (NETs), other miscellaneous types of tumors, cystic tumors (epidermoid, dermoid), and pineal cyst in addition. The symptoms of PRTs correlate to the increased intracranial cranial pressure due to obstructive hydrocephalus and dorsal midbrain compression. The diagnostic imaging studies are mainly MRI of brain (with and without gadolinium) along with a sagittal view of whole spine. Serum and/or CSF AFP/β-HCG helps to identify GCTs. The treatment of PRTs is consisted of the selection of surgical biopsy/resection, handling of hydrocephalus, neoadjuvant and/or adjuvant therapy according to age, tumor location, histopathological/molecular classification, grading of tumors, staging, and threshold value of markers (for GCTs) in addition. Methods: In this article, we review the following focus points: 1. Background of pineal region tumors. 2. Pineal GCTs and evolution of management. 3. Molecular study for GCTs and pineal parenchymal tumors. 4. Review of surgical approaches to the pineal region. 5. Contribution of endoscopy. 6. Adjuvant therapy (chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and combination). 7. Future direction. Results: In all ages, the leading three types of PRTs in western countries were PPTs (22.7–34.8%), GCTs (27.3–34.4%), and NETs (17.2–28%). In children and young adults, the leading PRTs were invariably in the order of GCTs (40–80.5%), PPTs (7.6–21.6%), NETs (2.4–37.5%). Surgical biopsy/resection of PRTs is important for precision diagnosis and therapy. Safe resection with acceptable low mortality and morbidity was achieved after 1970s because of the advancement of surgical approaches, CSF shunt and valve system, microscopic and endoscopic surgery. Following histopathological diagnosis and classification of types and subtypes of PRTs, in PPTs, through molecular profiling, four molecular groups of pineoblastoma (PB) and their oncogenic driver were identified. Hence, molecular stratified precision therapy can be achieved. Conclusion: Modern endoscopic and microsurgical approaches help to achieve precise histopathological diagnosis and molecular classification of different types and subtypes of pineal region tumors for risk-stratified optimal, effective, and protective therapy. In the future, molecular analysis of biospecimen (CSF and blood) along with AI radiomics on tumor imaging integrating clinical and bioinformation may help for personalized and risk-stratified management of patients with pineal region tumors. Despite the formidable treatment challenges of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), considerable progress has been made in improving drug delivery via pioneering nanocarriers. These innovations are geared towards overcoming the obstacles presented by dysplastic stroma and fostering anti-PDAC immune reactions. We are currently conducting research aimed at enhancing chemotherapy to stimulate anti-tumor immunity by inducing immunogenic cell death (ICD). This is accomplished using lipid bilayer-coated nanocarriers, which enable the attainment of synergistic results. Noteworthy examples include liposomes and lipid-coated mesoporous silica nanoparticles known as "silicasomes". These nanocarriers facilitate remote chemotherapy loading, as well as the seamless integration of immunomodulators into the lipid bilayer. In this communication, we elucidate innovative ways for further improving chemo-immunotherapy. The first is the development of a liposome platform engineered by the remote loading of irinotecan while incorporating a pro-resolving lipoxin in the lipid bilayer. Background: Blood shortage is a persistent problem affecting Taiwan's health-care system. The theory of planned behavior (TPB) has been commonly used in studies of health advocacy. The purpose of this study was to develop a questionnaire measuring clinicians' intention to prescribe transfusion based on the TPB. Method: A questionnaire comprising 15 items for assessing clinicians' intention to prescribe blood transfusion was developed, and it collected demographic characteristics, tested patient blood management (PBM) and perceived knowledge of PBM. Furthermore, the questionnaire contained four subscales related to the TPB. A total of 129 clinicians participated in this pilot study between July and December2020. Item analysis and exploratory factor analysis were conducted to examine the validity and reliability of this measurement instrument. Results: The results indicated no statistically significant correlations between the demographic characteristics and PBM test scores. Regarding perceived knowledge, the results of a one-way analysis of variance revealed that the effect of age, hierarchy of doctors, and education level were significant. In terms of subjective norms, a significant effect on education level was noted [t (129) = 2.28, p < 0.05], with graduate school graduates receiving higher scores than college graduates. An analysis of variance demonstrated the effects of hierarchy, education level, and medical specialty on perceived behavioral control. The results of the regression analyses revealed that perceived knowledge (β = 0.32, p < 0.01) and subjective norms (β = 0.22, p < 0.05) were significantly related to clinicians' behavioral intentions. Conclusions: This study revealed that factors affecting clinicians' blood transfusion management can be explained using the TPB-based questionnaire. This study demonstrated that physicians' perceptions of whether most people approve of PBM and their self-assessment of their PBM knowledge affect their intentions to proceed with PBM. The induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) are able to differentiate into dopaminergic neurons and execute the therapeutic effects for Parkinson's disease (PD). Here, we established a animal model of PD in Lanyu pigs by injecting 5 mg/kg of 1-methyl-4-phenyl-1,2,3,6-tetrahydropyridine hydrochloride (MPTP). Next, the porcine iPSC-like cells (piPSC-like cells) were differentiated into D18 neuronal progenitors (D18 NPs) that were transplanted into the striatum to evaluate their therapeutic effects of PD. We showed that after 8 weeks of cell transplantation, the behavior score was significantly ameliorated and fully recovered at the 14th week of cell transplantation. The number of dopaminergic neurons was also significantly improved at the end of the experiment although the number was still about 50% lower than that in the control group. Peace of mind (PoM) is an index of mental health in Asian culture and emphasizes low arousal, happiness, harmony, and an internal state of peacefulness. While previous studies have found that mindful self-awareness can contribute to PoM, regular physical activity (PA) is also an important factor contributing to one's PoM due to its function in promoting one's resilience. The study aims to investigate a hypothetical model that assumes PA is associated with resilience while controlling for mindful self-awareness, contributing to PoM. The PoM scale, Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale, Chinese translation of Mindful Attention Awareness Scale, and PA self-report questionnaire were used. A path analysis was applied to test the association between these variables and the mediating role of resilience. A total of 436 students from a university in Taiwan were recruited; the mean age was 20.87, with 46.3% female and 73.6% engaging in over 150 min/week of moderate PA. Gender and age negatively correlated with PA. After controlling for age and gender, there was no direct effect of physical activity on PoM; both mindful self-awareness and PA predict resilience, which in turn predicts PoM, suggesting that both cognitive (i.e., mindful self-awareness) and PA are important to cultivate resilience and thus PoM. Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is one of the principle causes of cancer‐associated death throughout the world. However, the patients with HCC are insensitive to traditional drugs and lack effective therapeutic drugs. Dysregulation of Hippo‐Yes‐associated protein (YAP) signalling is closely associated with HCC. Bortezomib (BTZ) is mainly used in clinical multiple myeloma. It has recently been confirmed that BTZ could suppress cell proliferation in many different types of cancer. Nevertheless, the precise effects of BTZ on HCC and its possible interactions with the Hippo‐YAP signalling pathway in HCC cells remain largely unknown. In this study, HCC cell lines (HepG2 and Huh7) and nude mice with xenograft tumours were used to evaluate the influences of BTZ. Furthermore, we focused on exploring whether BTZ exerts its anti‐HCC effect through the Hippo‐YAP signalling pathway and aimed to lay a theoretical foundation for BTZ as a potential therapeutic drug for HCC. Herein, our results disclose a new mechanism of BTZ in controlling the cell growth of HCC. BTZ downregulates the level of YAP by promoting LATS1 expression to inhibit the growth of HCC cells, which leads to the phosphorylation of YAP and limits YAP nuclear translocation. Amid widespread concerns about the mental health of teenagers, this quasi-experimental study examines the effects of a classroom humor intervention on 268 seventh graders' positive emotions, as well as their sense of humor and language ability. The participants completed self-report measures and a language exam before and after the intervention, which lasted six weeks. Analysis of covariance and mediation analysis were used to evaluate the effects. The results supported the researchers' hypotheses that the humor intervention would significantly increase learners' positive emotions, sense of humor, and language ability. The mediation analysis revealed that sense of humor mediated the relationship between the humor intervention and positive emotions, and that neither sense of humor nor positive emotion was the sole factor contributing to the observed learning gains. The study concludes that the intervention helped foster a learner-friendly environment in which the participants increased their positive emotions, sense of humor and language ability simultaneously, and makes recommendations for practitioners and future researchers on that basis. Suppressing the chain transfer reactions during polymerization in late-transition metal-catalyzed olefin polymerization systems is the key to obtaining high molecular weight polyolefin materials. In this work, two efficient strategies ("sandwich" and rotation-restricted strategies) to retard chain transfer reactions in ethylene (co)polymerization were employed for the iminopyridyl system. Herein, a family of iminopyridyl Ni(II) and Pd(II) complexes with a flexible backbone and rigid axial bulky aryl substituents were designed, synthesized and characterized. In ethylene polymerization, the iminopyridyl Ni(II) and Pd(II) catalysts using the two strategies exhibited reasonable activities and generated highly branched polyethylenes with high molecular weights, where catalysts with dibenzosuberyl substituents exhibited significantly higher activities and produced higher molecular weight polyethylene than catalysts with 8-arylnaphthalenyl substituent. A similar trend of activities and molecular weights was also found in the copolymerization of ethylene with MA using the Pd(II) catalysts. Moreover, highly branched E-MA copolymers with moderate to high molecular weights and high incorporation ratios (up to 17.4 mol%) were generated with the two Pd(II) catalysts. Most interestingly, as compared with the dibenzhydryl Ni(II) and Pd(II) catalysts, the catalysts using the two strategies exhibited a superior ability to retard the chain transfer reactions and generated polymers and copolymers with 1–2 orders of magnitude higher molecular weights during ethylene (co)polymerization. We propose a hetero-nano-fin structure to further improve the efficiency of Pancharatnam–Berry phase metasurfaces. Two hetero-nano-fin types, MgF2/GaN and MgF2/Nb2O5, were investigated. The overall polarization conversion efficiency (PCE) improved from 52.7 to 54% for the MgF2/GaN nano-fin compared with the bare GaN nano-fin. The overall PCE of the Nb2O5 nano-fin was 1.7 times higher than that of the GaN nano-fin. The overall PCE improved from 92.4% up to 96% after the application of MgF2 antireflection. Moreover, the antireflection improves efficiency by an average of 4.3% in wavelengths from 450 to 700 nm. Although the increment of energy seems minimal, antireflection is crucial for a metasurface, not only enhancing efficiency but also reducing background signal of a meta-device. In the framework of traditional transferable-utility (TU) models, the participants are either entirely involved or not involved in interactive processes with some other participants. Based on the distribution notion of the equal allocation of non-separable costs (EANSC), all participants first receive their marginal contributions and further distribute the remaining utilities equally. In real-world situations, however, participants might adopt different participation levels to participate. Moreover, participants might represent coalitions of different scales; participants might have corresponding influences under different situations. Thus, in this paper we propose a generalization of the EANSC by considering weights and replicated notions under conditions of multi-choice behavior simultaneously. Einstein described the relationship between mass and energy using the theory of special relativity by a simple equation, E = m c 2 . Mass–energy equivalence implies that mass can be converted into energy and vice versa. In this study, a virtual reality (VR) system was developed for learners to take a spacecraft travelling at nearly the speed of light to conduct space exploration and understand the concepts of special relativity and mass–energy equivalence. A teaching experiment was conducted to investigate the learning effectiveness and cognitive load of learners by recruiting 60 students as research samples. The experimental group (30 students) used the VR system and the control group (30 students) used physics textbooks for learning special relativity and mass–energy equivalence. The experimental results reveal that the learning effectiveness of the experimental group is higher than that of the control group while the cognitive load of the former is lower than that of the latter. The questionnaire results show that students of the control group had responded positively to learning content, cognitive usefulness, cognitive ease of use, and user satisfaction, indicating that they were satisfied with the learning experience of the VR system. Background: The aim of this study was to determine if robotic surgery can reproduce the technical advantages and oncologic outcomes of laparoscopic surgery for the treatment of locally advanced colorectal cancer invading the urinary bladder. Methods: We retrospectively reviewed the prospectively maintained data of patients with locally advanced colorectal cancer invading the urinary bladder undergoing robotic or laparoscopic surgery between June 2006 and November 2020. Clinicopathologic features, surgical outcomes, and oncologic efficacy were compared between patient groups of robotic or laparoscopic surgery. All patients underwent surgery with the intent of R0 resection for the primary tumor. Major surgical complications were defined as Clavien–Dindo grade ≥ III. Multivariate regression analysis was performed to identify risk factors. Results: A total of 41 patients (M:F = 32:9; median age: 63 [42–88] years) were analysed; 32 underwent laparoscopic surgery and 9 underwent robotic surgery. There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups in baseline demographic and clinicopathologic features. There were no significant differences in terms of mean operative time (353.24 vs. 387.33 min), mean blood loss (315.00 vs. 171.11 mL), mean number of lymph nodes harvested (27.16 vs. 23.50), R0 resection (89.7 vs. 66.7%), conversion (12.5 vs. 11.1%), major complication rate (9.4 vs. 22.2%), mean time to flatus passage (4.8 vs. 4.1 days), mean postoperative length of hospital stay (18.9 vs. 19.8 days), 5-year disease-free survival rate (64.6 vs. 62.5%) and overall survival rate (75.3 vs. 83.3%). Multivariate analysis showed that R1 resection was the only independent prognostic factor for reduced disease-free survival (hazard ratio 21.386; 95% confidence interval 1.991–229.723; p = 0.0115). Conclusions: Robotic surgery can reproduce the technical advantages and oncologic outcomes of laparoscopic surgery for the treatment of locally advanced colorectal cancer invading the urinary bladder. This study investigates InSnZnO thin films deposited using mist chemical vapor deposition with different nitrogen (N 2)/oxygen (O 2) ratios of carrier gases. The crystallinity and bandgap of InSnZnO are not affected by the carrier gases; however, the content of the oxygen deficiency of the InSnZnO thin films reduces when the N 2 /O 2 mixed carrier gases have higher oxygen ratio. The InSnZnO thin-film transistor (TFT) shows the highest field-effect mobility (65.04 cm2V−1s−1) when N 2 is used as the carrier gas to deposit the InSnZnO thin film. Although the field-effect mobility of the InSnZnO TFT that uses the N 2 (60 vol%)/O 2 (40 vol%) mixed carrier gas to deposit InSnZnO thin film is the lowest (47.65 cm2V−1s−1), it is still higher than those of the amorphous InGaZnO thin film transistors (∼10 cm2V−1s−1). Furthermore, the InSnZnO TFT using the N 2 (60 vol%)/O 2 (40 vol%) mixed carrier gas to deposit InSnZnO thin film exhibits the steepest subthreshold slope (102 mV/dec), the largest on/off current ratio (4.6 × 107), and the most stable electrical characteristics after the negative bias stress test for 10,800 s. This study investigates the intricate relationships among personality traits, well-being, and attitudes toward being ridiculed and laughed at in 379 young adults, who are typically sensitive to social feedback and peer evaluation. These Taiwanese university students completed the Big Five mini-markers, PhoPhiKat-TC, and Mental Health Continuum Short Form scales. Analysis of the resulting data focused on understanding the mediating effects of the respondents' laughter/ridicule orientations on the relationship between their Big Five traits and well-being. Most of the personality traits were found to be positively correlated with well-being and with gelotophobia, the fear of being laughed at. Extraversion emerged as the preeminent correlate with well-being. In accordance with Seligman's Learned Optimism hypothesis, knowledge of the outcomes of this study could heighten gelotophobes' awareness of their responses to laughter, and thus serve as a foundation for the development and refinement of strategies for their effective navigation of social situations involving laughter/ridicule. With the rapid development of new energy vehicles, it is recognized that predicting the state of health (SoH) of lithium-ion battery is crucial for ensuring the safety of networked vehicles. However, the selection of health indicators greatly influences the accuracy of SoH prognostics. To obtain an accurate estimation of SoH, this paper proposes an SoH estimation model based on incremental capacity features. First, the incremental capacity curve is extracted from battery discharge data and filtered using a Gaussian filtering algorithm to remove noise. Second, statistical features extracted from the incremental capacity curve are considered health factors, and multiple optimal features are selected using Pearson’s correlation coefficient. Finally, the innovative integration of spatiotemporal feature extraction with advanced pattern recognition and nonlinear modeling led to the proposal of a hybrid Convolutional Neural Network–Multi-Layer Perceptron (CNN-MLP) model for estimating the SoH of lithium-ion batteries. To validate the high accuracy of the proposed method, experiments are conducted using the CALCE battery dataset and compared with other popular models. Compound 1j exhibited good in vitro antiproliferative activity (IC 50 = 6.50 μM) and high selectivity (SI = 9.2 vs HER2-positive breast cancer cells SKBr3; SI = 7.3 vs normal breast cells MCF-10A) against triple negative breast cancer (TNBC) cells MDA-MB-468. In addition, 1j could selectively cause DNA damage, inducing the accumulation of γH2AX and P53 in MDA-MB-468 cells. It also reduced the phosphorylation level of P38 and the expression of HSP70, which further prevented the repair of DNA damage and caused cells S/G 2 -arrest leading to MDA-MB-468 cells death. Background: High levels of public awareness regarding the hazards of asbestos, rights to health, and benefits of an asbestos-free country can increase advocacy and political commitment to a total ban on asbestos. We aimed to investigate asbestos awareness and associated sociodemographic characteristics among the adult population of St. Kitts and Nevis.Methods: In this cross-sectional study, 1009 participants completed an online questionnaire with questions about sociodemographic data and asbestos awareness. We applied multiple regression models to estimate associations between sociodemographic factors, levels of asbestos knowledge, and attitudes toward asbestos management.Results: We found that 70% of residents of St. Kitts and Nevis considered asbestos exposure to be a general public concern and believed the government should prevent it. Of all participants, 54% were in favor of completely banning the use and importation of all asbestos products and materials; those with higher levels of asbestos knowledge were more likely to favor a total ban. Higher proportions and odds of favoring a total asbestos ban were also observed in participants aged ≥ 30 years, women, those with higher education, and those living in St. Kitts (vs. Nevis).Conclusions: These findings support implementing policies to regulate and outright ban the use of asbestos products and materials in St. Kitts and Nevis. This data can be used to develop tailored campaigns to improve asbestos knowledge among sociodemographic groups with lower asbestos awareness, such as in the wider Caribbean and other under-resourced countries. Melt spinning machines must be set up according to the process parameters that result in the best end product quality. In this study, artificial intelligence algorithms were employed to create a system that detects abnormal processing parameters and suggests strategies to improve quality. Polypropylene (PP) was selected as the experimental material, and the quality achieved by adjusting the melt spinning machine's processing parameter settings was used as the basis for judgement. The processing parameters included screw temperature, gear pump temperature, die head temperature, screw speed, gear pump speed, and take-up speed as the six control factors. The four quality characteristics included fineness, breaking strength, elongation at break, and elastic energy modulus. In the first part of our study, we applied fast deep-learning characteristic grid calculations on a 440-item historical data set to train a deep learning neural network and determine methods for multi-quality optimization. In the second part, with the best processing parameters as a benchmark, and given abnormal quality data derived from processing parameter settings deviating from these optimal values, several machine learning and deep learning methods were compared in their ability to find the settings responsible for the abnormal data, which was randomly split into a 210-item training data set and a 210-item verification data set. The random forest method proved to be the best at identifying responsible parameter settings, with accuracy rates of single and double identification classifications together of 100%, for single factor classification of 98.3%, and for double factor classification of 96.0%, thereby confirming that the diagnostic method proposed in this study can effectively predict product abnormality and find the parameter settings responsible for product abnormality. Objectives: Surgery-first orthognathic surgery is rarely used in class III asymmetry due to concerns of reduced skeletal stability from unstable surgical occlusion. This study aimed to evaluate if skeletal stability after surgery-first orthognathic surgery is related to virtual surgical occlusal contact or surgical change. Materials and methods: We studied 58 adults with class III asymmetry, consecutively corrected by Le Fort I osteotomy and bilateral sagittal split osteotomy using a surgery-first approach. Dental casts were manually set to measure virtual surgical occlusal contact including contact distribution, contact number, and contact area. Cone-beam computed tomography taken before treatment, 1-week post-surgery, and after treatment was used to measure surgical change and post-surgical stability of the maxilla and mandible in translation (left/right, posterior/anterior, superior/inferior) and rotation (pitch, roll, yaw). The relationship between skeletal stability and surgical occlusal contact or surgical change was evaluated with correlation analysis. Results: Significant instability was found in the mandible but not in the maxilla. No correlation was found between the maxillary or mandibular stability and surgical occlusal contact (all p > 0.01). However, a significant correlation was found between the maxillary (roll and yaw) or mandibular (shift, roll and pitch) stability and its surgical change (all p < 0.001). Conclusions: In correction of class III asymmetry with surgery-first bimaxillary surgery, the skeletal stability is not related to the virtual surgical occlusal contact, but surgical skeletal change. In this paper, the data of A-share non-financial listed companies from 2008 to 2019 are used to study the impact of the opening of high-speed railway on corporate financing constraints with the difference-in-differences model. The research results show that the opening of high-speed rail can effectively alleviate the financing constraints faced by enterprises. Through the analysis of its influence mechanism, it is found that the opening of high-speed rail can reduce the degree of information asymmetry and agency conflicts between enterprises and their stakeholders, and thereby ease corporate financing constraints. At the same time, the opening of the high-speed rail has a more significant effect on alleviating the financing constraints of non-state-controlled enterprises, technology-intensive enterprises, and enterprises in inland areas. This research is not only a supplement to the economic consequences related to the opening of the high-speed rail, but also a further expansion of the research on the factors affecting corporate financing constraints. Voltage-controlled spintronic devices are considered promising candidates for low-power applications due to the nonvolatility and the elimination of the Joule heating energy. Recently, experiments have demonstrated the voltage-controlled magnetization switching in the bismuth ferrite (BFO)/CoFe heterojunction that can achieve 180° switching at room temperature. In addition, it has been demonstrated that the ferroelectric coercive voltage of the La-doped BFO can be as low as 0.2 V by tuning the doping concentration of La and choosing a thinner BFO layer. To evaluate the potential performance of the magnetoelectric magnetic random access memory (ME-MRAM) using the BFO/CoFe heterojunction, we first build a physics-based compact model of the antiferromagnet/ferromagnet (AFM/FM) bilayer. The results from our circuit-compatible model match well with the micromagnetic simulations on the dynamics of the order parameters in both the AFM and FM layers. Next, we simulate the read and write performances of ME-MRAM using the compact model we have developed. Our results show that the write energy of the ME-MRAM can be as low as a few fJ per bit and the layout area is ~20 F2, which is more energy and area efficient compared to SRAM and other spintronic memory candidates. Objectives: Some adults with cleft lip and palate (CLP) require orthognathic surgery due to skeletal deformity. This prospective study aimed to (1) compare skeletal stability following bimaxillary surgery for correction of class III deformity between patients with unilateral CLP (UCLP) and bilateral CLP (BCLP), and (2) identify risk factors of stability. Materials and methods: Adults with CLP and skeletal class III deformities who underwent surgery-first bimaxillary surgery were divided into two groups according to cleft type: UCLP (n = 30) and BCLP (n = 30). Skeletal stability was assessed with measures from cone beam computed tomography images of the maxilla and mandible taken before treatment, 1-week and ≥ 1 year postsurgery for translation (left/right, posterior/anterior, superior/inferior) and rotation (yaw, roll, pitch); multiple regression analysis examined risk factors. Results: At follow-up, the maxilla moved upwards in both groups, and backwards in the UCLP group. The mandible moved forward and upward, shifted to the cleft (deviated) side, and rotated upward in both groups. The amount of surgical advancement was a risk factor for sagittal stability in the maxilla (ß = −0.14, p < 0.05). The mandible had three risk factors for sagittal stability: age (ß = −0.23, p < 0.05), surgical team (ß = −1.83, p < 0.05), and amount of surgical setback (ß = −0.32, p = 0.001). Conclusions: Two years after bimaxillary surgery, patients with UCLP had a higher sagittal relapse of the maxilla compared with patients with BCLP, which was due to a greater surgical advancement in the patients with UCLP. Clinical relevance: Surgery-first bimaxillary surgery results in favorable treatment outcomes for correction of cleft-related class III deformity. Background: This study aimed to evaluate the necessity of abdominal drainage after laparoscopic appendectomy in patients with complicated appendicitis. Methods: Patients with acute appendicitis undergoing laparoscopic appendectomy at two hospitals between January 2014 and December 2018 were retrospectively included. Complicated appendicitis was defined as the American Association for the Surgery of Trauma (AAST) grade ≥ II. The patients were classified according to the AAST grade and the indwelling of abdominal drainage. The postoperative surgical outcomes and recovery were compared among patient groups to evaluate the impact of abdominal drainage for patients with complicated appendicitis undergoing laparoscopic appendectomy. Results: A total of 1241 patients was retrospectively included. Among them, there were 820 patients with simple appendicitis (AAST grade I) and 421 patients with complicated appendicitis (AAST grade ≥ II). For complicated appendicitis, the drainage group (N = 192) tended to harbor more overall complications, intra-abdominal abscess formation, time to resume a soft diet, and the postoperative length of hospitalization (P = 0.0000 for all). Multivariate logistic regression confirmed that abdominal drainage increased the risk of overall complications [Odds ratio (OR) 2.439; 95% confidence interval (CI) 1.597–3.726; P ≤ 0.0001] and failed to decrease the risk of intra-abdominal abscess formation (OR 1.655; 95% CI 0.487–5.616; P = 0.4193). Multivariate linear regression analysis also showed that the drainage group harbored longer postoperative length of hospitalization (Coefficients: 20.697; 95% CI 15.251–26.143; P < 0.0001) and time to resume a soft diet (Coefficients: 45.899; 95% CI 34.502–57.297; P < 0.0001). Conclusions: Abdominal drainage did not prevent overall complications in patients with complicated appendicitis; paradoxically, it delayed the convalescence. For tiling of the SARS-CoV-2 genome, the ARTIC Network provided a V4 protocol using 99 pairs of primers for amplicon production and is currently the widely used amplicon-based approach. However, this technique has regions of low sequence coverage and is labour-, time-, and cost-intensive. Moreover, it requires 14 pairs of primers in two separate PCRs to obtain spike gene sequences. To overcome these disadvantages, we proposed a single PCR to efficiently detect spike gene mutations. We proposed a bioinformatic protocol that can process FASTQ reads into spike gene consensus sequences to accurately call spike protein variants from sequenced samples or to fairly express the cases of missing amplicons. We evaluated the in silico detection rate of primer sets that yield amplicon sizes of 400, 1200, and 2500 bp for spike gene sequencing of SARS-CoV-2 to be 59.49, 76.19, and 92.20%, respectively. The in silico detection rate of our proposed single PCR primers was 97.07%. We demonstrated the robustness of our analytical protocol against 3000 Oxford Nanopore sequencing runs of distinct datasets, thus ensuring high-integrity sequencing of spike genes for variant SARS-CoV-2 determination. Objectives: We sought to evaluate the ability of the novel LA strain parameters to discriminate patients with heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) from individuals with risk factors of HFpEF. Methods and results: A total of n = 389 patients with risk factors for HFpEF finally was prospectively enrolled into the study, 66 of them were diagnosed with HFpEF by the 2021 ESC HF guidelines. Fifty‐five patients were undergone left ventricular catheterization and simultaneous transthoracic echocardiography was performed, 35 of them with elevated left ventricular end‐diastolic pressure (LVEDP). Left atrial reservoir strain (LASr) was measured in all patients. LA filling index was defined as the ratio of mitral E and LASr and LA stiffness index was calculated as E/e′/LASr. Compared with the patients in the normal LVEDP subgroup, those in the elevated LVEDP subgroup showed significantly higher LA filling index, LA stiffness index, and LAVI/LASr. The receiver‐operating characteristic curve (ROC) analysis showed LASr (area under curve [AUC].840), LA filling index (AUC.843), LA stiffness index (AUC.766), and LAVI/LASr (AUC.755) had good diagnostic accuracy for elevated LVEDP. Inter‐technique agreement analysis showed the novel algorithms with LA strain parameters had good agreement with the invasive LVEDP measurement, better than the 2016 ASE/SCAI algorithms (kappa.711 vs..101). Furthermore, compared with patients without HFpEF, LASr was lower in HFpEF, LA filling index, LA stiffness index, and LAVI/LASr was higher in patients with HFpEF. ROC analysis showed the novel LA strain parameters with good accuracy (AUC.756 to.821) non‐inferior to conventional echocardiographic parameters could identify HFpEF, and LA stiffness index (AUC.821) was the best one. Conclusion: The novel LA strain parameters could be of potential usefulness in estimating LVEDP and incorporated into the 2016 EACVI/ASE criteria would improve the diagnostic efficiency.
