Plants are vulnerable to many abiotic stresses, resulting in reduced plant productivity. Its adaptation to unfavorable environments relies on transmitting external stress signals into internal signaling pathways. A series of stress response mechanisms have been developed. Among them, brassinosteroids (BRs) are a class of steroid hormones that are widely involved in plant growth, development, and stress response. Via genetics, proteomics, and genomics studies, the major components of signaling and signaling pathways through a series of phosphorylation cascade reactions have been identified in model plants such as Arabidopsis. Numerous studies have shown that BRs play important roles in plant responses to drought, temperature, salt, heavy metals, and other environmental stresses. The application of BRs to improve plant stress resistance has become the focus of research in recent years, especially the regulation of stress via endogenous BRs. Therefore, this paper systematically summarizes the research progress related to endogenous BR levels and provides an overview of BR biosynthesis and the signaling pathway, as well as the function of endogenous BRs in the response to abiotic stresses. Entanglement islands play an essential role in the recent breakthrough in addressing the black hole information paradox. Inspired by double holography, it is conjectured that the entanglement islands can exist only in massive gravity. There are many pieces of evidence but also debates for this conjecture. This paper recovers the massless entanglement island in wedge holography with negative DGP gravity on the brane. However, the spectrum of negative DGP gravity includes a massive ghost, implying the model is unstable. Our work supports the view that there is no entanglement island in a well-defined braneworld model of massless gravity if one divides the radiation and black hole regions by minimizing entanglement entropy. However, such a partition results in a zero radiation region containing no information. This paper investigates Page curves on the branes with higher codimensions and charges. We study two kinds of doubly holographic modes, the AdS/dCFT and cone holography. In AdS/dCFT, the gravitations on the brane are massive, and the black hole on the codim-m brane is coupled with the non-gravitational bath on the AdS boundary. Following the standard approach, we derive the Page curve for eternal black holes. On the other hand, cone holography includes massless graviton on the brane, and the bath becomes gravitating. By adding suitable DGP gravity on the end-of-the-world brane, we recover non-trivial entanglement islands and Page curves, which strongly support that the island is consistent with massless gravity. Finally, we analyze the effects of charges and find that, as the charges increase, the Page time increases, and the parameter space for non-trivial Page curves widens. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

It is controversial whether entanglement islands can exist in massless gravity theories. Recently, it is found that the massless entanglement island appears in wedge holography with DGP gravity on the branes. In this paper, we generalize the discussions to the codim-n holography named cone holography. For simplicity, we focus on the case with a codim-2 E brane and a codim-1 Q brane. We discuss the effective action, mass spectrum and holographic entanglement entropy for cone holography with DGP terms. We verify that there is massless gravity on the branes, and recover non-trivial entanglement islands and Page curves. Besides, we work out the parameter space which allows entanglement islands and Page curves. Compared with wedge holography, there are several new features. First, one can not add DGP gravity on the codim-2 E brane. That is because the energy density has to be a constant on codim-2 branes for Einstein gravity in bulk. Second, the Hartman- Maldacena surface ends only on the codim-1 Q brane. Third, the Hartman-Maldacena surface can be defined only in a finite time. We notice that this unusual situation also appears in AdS/dCFT and even in AdS/CFT. Fortunately, it does not affect the Page curve since it happens after Page time. BACKGROUND: This study aimed to explore the changes of programmed death-ligand 1 (PDL1) and programmed death-1 (PD-1) expression on antigen-presenting cells (APCs) and evaluate their association with organ failure and mortality during early sepsis. METHODS: In total, 40 healthy controls and 198 patients with sepsis were included in this study. Peripheral blood was collected within the first 24 h after the diagnosis of sepsis. The expression of PDL1 and PD-1 was determined on APCs, such as B cells, monocytes, and dendritic cells (DCs), by flow cytometry. Cytokines in plasma, such as interferon-γ (IFN-γ), tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), interleukin-4 (IL-4), IL-6, IL-10, and IL-17A were determined by Luminex assay. RESULTS: PD-1 expression decreased significantly on B cells, monocytes, myeloid DCs (mDCs), and plasmacytoid DCs (pDCs) as the severity of sepsis increased. PD-1 expression was also markedly decreased in non-survivors compared with survivors. In contrast, PD-L1 expression was markedly higher on mDCs, pDCs, and monocytes in patients with sepsis than in healthy controls and in non-survivors than in survivors. The PD-L1 expression on APCs (monocytes and DCs) was weakly related to organ dysfunction and inflammation. The area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC) of the PD-1 percentage of monocytes (monocyte PD-1%)+APACHE II model (0.823) and monocyte PD-1%+SOFA model (0.816) had higher prognostic value than other parameters alone. Monocyte PD-1% was an independent risk factor for 28-day mortality. CONCLUSION: The severity of sepsis was correlated with PD-L1 or PD-1 over-expression on APCs. PD-L1 in monocytes and DCs was weakly correlated with inflammation and organ dysfunction during early sepsis. Entanglement islands play an essential role in the recent breakthrough in resolving the black hole information paradox. It is found that entanglement islands disappear in the initial model of wedge holography with massless gravity on the brane. As a result, the entanglement entropy of Hawking radiation becomes a time-independent constant, and there is no Page curve. In this paper, we recover massless entanglement islands in wedge holography with suitable DGP gravity or higher derivative gravity on the branes. We study two typical cases. In the first case, we consider a black hole on the strong-gravity brane and a bath on the weak-gravity brane. It is similar to the usual double holography with non-gravitational baths. In the second case, we discuss two black holes on the two branes with the same gravitational strength. We recover massless entanglement islands and non-trivial Page curves in both cases. We also argue that the entanglement island is consistent with massless gravity. Our results strongly support that entanglement islands can exist in long-range theories of gravity. Hypoxia‐inducible factors (HIFs) are core regulators of the hypoxia response. HIF signaling is activated in the local physiological and pathological hypoxic environment, acting on downstream target genes to synthesize the corresponding proteins and regulate the hypoxic stress response. HIFs belong to the hypoxia‐activated transcription family and contain two heterodimeric transcription factors, HIF‐α and HIF‐β. Under hypoxia, the dimer formed by HIF‐α binding to HIF‐β translocates into the nucleus and binds to the hypoxia response element (HRE) to induce transcription of a series of genes. HIF‐1α plays an important role in innate bone development and acquired bone regeneration. HIF‐1α promotes bone regeneration mainly through the following two pathways: (1) By regulating angiogenesis‐osteoblast coupling to promote bone regeneration; and (2) by inducing metabolic reprogramming in osteoblasts, promoting cellular anaerobic glycolysis, ensuring the energy supply of osteoblasts under hypoxic conditions, and further promoting bone regeneration and repair. This article reviews recent basic research on HIF‐1α and its role in promoting osteogenesis, discusses the possible molecular mechanisms, introduces the hypoxia‐independent role of HIF‐1α and reviews the application prospects of HIF‐1α in tissue engineering. In this paper, we study the effective action, the mass spectrum and the first law of entanglement entropy for a novel doubly holographic model called wedge holography. We work out the effective action of quantum gravity on the branes. In the perturbative formulation, it is given by an infinite sum of Pauli-Fierz actions. In the non-perturbative formulation, the effective action is composed of a higher derivative gravity and a matter action. Usually, a higher derivative gravity can be renormalizable but suffers the ghost problem. For our case, since the effective theory on the brane is equivalent to Einstein gravity in the bulk, it must be ghost-free. We notice that the matter action plays an important role in eliminating the ghost. We also provide evidences that the higher derivative gravity on the brane is equivalent to a ghost-free multi-gravity. Besides, we prove that the effective action yields the correct Weyl anomaly. Interestingly, although the effective action on the brane is an infinite tower of higher derivative gravity, the holographic Weyl anomaly is exactly the same as that of Einstein gravity. We also analyze the mass spectrum of wedge holography. Remarkably, there is always a massless mode of gravitons on the end-of-the-world branes in wedge holography. This happens because one imposes Neumann boundary condition on both branes. On the other hand, the massless mode disappears if one imposes Dirichlet boundary condition on one of the branes as in brane world theory and AdS/BCFT. Finally, we verify the first law of entanglement entropy for wedge holography. Interestingly, the massive fluctuations are irrelevant to the first order perturbation of the holographic entanglement entropy. Many of these functional materials are developed based on the twisted intramolecular charge transfer (TICT) mechanism. However, the TICT tendency of dialkylated amino groups in biocompatible main‐stream fluorophores (i.e., coumarins and rhodamines) is weak, limiting their sensitivities. Herein, by replacing dialkylated amino donors with an N‐methylpyrrole group to enhance TICT, a simple and general method to engineer highly environmentally sensitive fluorescent probes is reported. This method yields a platter of colorful fluorescent probes that demonstrates outstanding polarity and viscosity sensitivity with large turn‐on ratios (up to 191 times for polarity and 14 times for viscosity), as well as distinct aggregation‐induced emission (AIE) characteristics. The utilities of these probes in both wash‐free bioimaging and protein detections are also successfully demonstrated. Our previous studies found that M10, a myricetin-3-O-β-d-lactose sodium salt, possessed higher effects of ameliorating ulcerative colitis (UC) than Myricetin in mice. Here, we aim to investigate whether the inhibition of UC is the consequence of the effects of M10 that leads to the changed microbiota. Mice model of UC was induced by dextran sulfate sodium (DSS) treatment. M10 and Myricetin were orally administrated for 12 weeks. We performed 16S rDNA sequencing assay to analyze the composition of gut microbiota isolated from ileocecum. Both M10 and Myricetin normalized the composition of Firmicutes and Actinobacteria as healthy mice had. At genus level, the effects of M10 and Myricetin on colitis were associated to the increase of probiotics, such as Akkermansia , and the inhibition of pathogenic microorganisms, such as Ruminococcus and Parabacteroides. M10 had stronger activity than Myricetin in the improvement of biosynthesis and degradation activities, resulting to increasing metabolism of sulfur, pyruvate, steroid biosynthesis and unsaturated fatty acid biosynthesis in gut. Furthermore, M10 normalized the proportion of Firmicutes and Actinobacteria in gut microbiota. It suggests that the improvements in UC are the consequence of the effect of M10 that leads to the changed intestinal microbiota. Because of the Weyl anomaly, the background axial vector field induces novel chiral currents near a boundary. Recently, a non-minimal holographic chiral model has been proposed to produce the expected chiral current. The critical point is adding a boundary mass term A ˆ 2 of the axial vector field. This paper investigates the holographic chiral model with general boundary action in AdS/BCFT. We find the nonlinear gauge-violating boundary interactions V 1 ( A ˆ 2) generally lead to ghost instability and the singularity problem. On the other hand, the mass term A ˆ 2 and gauge-invariant interactions V 2 ( F ˆ 2) are free of these issues. For the squared boundary action with mass and kinetic terms, we analyze the holographic chiral current near a boundary. We work out more subleading terms and verify they agree with the field-theoretical results. We find the boundary kinetic term affects only the finite term of chiral currents. Recently, a codimension two holography called wedge holography is proposed as a generalization of AdS/CFT. It is conjectured that a gravitational theory in d + 1 dimensional wedge spacetime is dual to a d − 1 dimensional CFT on the corner of the wedge. In this paper, we give an exact construction of the gravitational solutions for wedge holography from the ones in AdS/CFT. By applying this construction, we prove the equivalence between wedge holography and AdS/CFT for vacuum Einstein gravity, by showing that the classical gravitational action and thus the CFT partition function in large N limit are the same for the two theories. The equivalence to AdS/CFT can be regarded as a “proof” of wedge holography in a certain sense. As an application of this powerful equivalence, we derive easily the holographic Weyl anomaly, holographic Entanglement/Rényi entropy and correlation functions for wedge holography. Besides, we discuss the general solutions of wedge holography and argue that they correspond to the AdS/CFT with suitable matter fields. Interestingly, we notice that the intrinsic Ricci scalar on the brane is always a constant, which depends on the tension. Finally, we generalize the discussions to dS/CFT and flat space holography. Remarkably, we find that AdS/CFT, dS/CFT and flat space holography can be unified in the framework of codimension two holography in asymptotically AdS. Cone holography is a codimension-n doubly holographic model, which can be interpreted as the holographic dual of edge modes on defects. The initial model of cone holography is based on mixed boundary conditions. This paper formulates cone holography with Neumann boundary conditions, where the brane-localized gauge fields play an essential role. Firstly, we illustrate the main ideas in an AdS4/CFT1 toy model. We show that the U(1) gauge field on the end-of-the-world brane can make the typical solution consistent with Neumann boundary conditions. Then, we generalize the discussions to general codimension-n cone holography by employing brane-localized p-form gauge fields. We also investigate perturbative solutions and prove the mass spectrum of Kaluza-Klein gravitons is non-negative. Furthermore, we prove that cone holography obeys holographic c-theorem. Finally, inspired by the recently proposed chiral model in AdS/BCFT, we construct another type of cone holography with Neumann boundary conditions by applying massive vector (Proca) fields on the end-of-the-world brane. The pursuit of sensitive fluorescent chromophores with integrated aggregation‐induced emission (AIE) and twisted intramolecular charge transfer (TICT) properties are attractive due to the tunable emission properties and increased intensity. However, this type of chromophore has yet to be exemplified mechanistically. In this study, a strategy is presented for manipulating the formation of TICT and the AIE effect through molecular engineering. The feasibility of TICT properties is validated by theoretical calculations and ultrafast spectroscopies. By precisely adjusting the hydrophobicity of the donor group, the fluorescence is significantly enhanced through the addition of poor solvent. These findings not only provide mechanistic elucidation for chromophores exhibiting integrated TICT and AIE properties in various environmental conditions but also underscore the critical factors for the systematic design of chromophores with high tunability and strong emissions. Porous gallium nitride (GaN) luminescent materials were fabricated by photoelectrochemical etching using three different 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium ([EMIM])-based ionic liquids as the etchants. The as-etched porous GaN presents honeycomb shape, deep gully with some holes in the surroundings, and overlapping hole structure, which are significantly different from the planar GaN. Moreover, photoluminescence (PL) spectra indicates that the porous GaN has more excellent PL performance than the planar GaN. In general, reducing the etching time to 1 min, the PL intensity of porous GaN etched by [EMIM][OTF] is 9.27 times than that of the planar one. In recent years, how to carry out effective high technology investment risk prediction in the financial market with constraints has attracted the attention of scholars. In this paper, partial linear regression model is used to describe and analyze the stock data with inconsistent length in different markets. And high technology investment risk prediction is carried out on the basis of improved yield and covariance matrix. The results of the numerical example show that the high technology investment risk prediction using partial linear regression analysis under inequality constraints has better performance than the investment model using the ordinary least square regression when the length of stock data is inconsistent. High aspect ratio gallium nitride (GaN) nanostructures were fabricated by photochemical etching using hydrofluoric acid as the etchant. Under the etching time of 20 min, the surface pore density is estimated to be ~ 5.6 × 10 9 cm 2 , and the aspect ratio of the pore structure is as high as ~ 10: 1. The biggest photocurrent and strongest photoluminescence intensity of the etched GaN are ~ 3.2 and 9.7 times of that of the as-grown GaN, respectively, which demonstrates high aspect ratio GaN nanostructures have great potential for a series of photoelectric and optical devices. Bismuth-modified gallium nitride (Bi/GaN) electrode was fabricated using an in situ plating technique and simultaneously investigated for the detection of Cd 2 + by square wave anodic stripping voltammetry (SWASV). Under the optimized conditions, the Bi/GaN electrode showed good linear amperometric responses for Cd 2 + in the concentration range from 1 to 150 μg/L. The sensitivity was 0.54418 μA L μg − 1 (i.e., 59.8598 A M − 1 ) and the limit of detection (LOD) was 0.3 μg/L (i.e., 2.72 nM). Furthermore, the as-prepared Bi/GaN sensor has high repeatability, and retains 95% of its initial stripping peak current after 50 cycles. More importantly, the applicability of the sensor in real samples such as tap water, milk, and fetal bovine serum was researched. In this study, we report for the preparation of nickel phthalocyanine (NiPc) free-standing films on ionic liquid (IL) surface by a physical vapor deposition method. Different from on the solid substrate, the as-obtained film is α phase and with a 2D network structure. In addition, the good transferability of the film make it can be easily transferred onto any substrate for further device applications. Bismuth nanodendrites (BiNDs) were electrodeposited on planar gallium nitride (GaN) electrode via a differential pulse voltammetric technique to fabricate the non-enzymatic hydrogen peroxide (H 2 O 2 ) sensor. SEM images revealed that the as-obtained BiNDs had numerous dendrite sub-branches, whose diameters ranged from 136 to 152 nm. The BiNDs/GaN electrode showed linear amperometric responses for H 2 O 2 in the concentration range from 10 µM to 1 mM with the sensitivity of 60.0 μA mM −1 cm −2 . Another linear range was from 1 to 10 mM with the sensitivity of 23.3 μA mM −1 cm −2 . The limit of detection (LOD) was 5 µM with the signal-to-noise ratio of 3. The applicability of the sensor was investigated to the H 2 O 2 detection in real samples such as fetal bovine serum and milk, and the sensor exhibited excellent anti-interference capacity. The achieved results indicate that the as-prepared BiNDs/GaN sensor with good reproducibility and long-term stability was promising for detecting H 2 O 2 in practical environments. Gallium nitride (GaN) surface was etched by 0.3 M ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid disodium (EDTA-2Na) via photoelectrochemical etching technique. SEM images reveal the etched GaN surface becomes rough and irregular. The pore density is up to 1.9 × 10 9 per square centimeter after simple acid post-treatment. The difference of XPS spectra of Ga 3d, N 1s and O 1s between the non-etched and freshly etched GaN surfaces can be attributed to the formation of Ga–EDTA complex at the etching interface between GaN and EDTA-2Na. The proposed complexation dissolution mechanism can be broadly applicable to almost all neutral etchants under the prerequisite of strong light and electric field. From the point of view of environment, safety and energy, EDTA-2Na has obvious advantages over conventionally corrosive etchants. This paper is an extended version of our short letter on a new proposal for holographic boundary conformal field, i.e., BCFT. By using the Penrose-Brown-Henneaux (PBH) transformation, we successfully obtain the expected boundary Weyl anomaly. The obtained boundary central charges satisfy naturally a c-like theorem holographically. We then develop an approach of holographic renormalization for BCFT, and reproduce the correct boundary Weyl anomaly. This provides a non-trivial check of our proposal. We also investigate the holographic entanglement entropy of BCFT and find that our proposal gives the expected orthogonal condition that the minimal surface must be normal to the spacetime boundaries if they intersect. This is another support for our proposal. We also find that the entanglement entropy depends on the boundary conditions of BCFT and the distance to the boundary; and that the entanglement wedge behaves a phase transition, which is important for the self-consistency of AdS/BCFT. Here we demonstrate porous GaN electrode can be applied for trace Ag(I) detection. Compared to traditional planar electrodes, porous GaN electrode can detect lower concentration of Ag(I) as it possesses more deposition sites (crystal defects) and larger surface area. Under the optimum conditions, porous GaN electrode shows a linear voltammetric response in the Ag(I) concentration range from 1 to 100 ppb with the detection limit of 0.5 ppb. Here we report the electrodeposition of gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) onto porous GaN electrode obtained by photoelectrochemical etching planar GaN to fabricate a non-enzymatic hydrogen peroxide (H 2 O 2 ) sensor. SEM images revealed porous GaN has uniformly high-porosity structure and the diameter of AuNPs is 5–16 nm. The AuNPs/porous GaN electrode exhibited good electrocatalytic activity toward the reduction of H 2 O 2 and performed as amperometric sensor for the detection of H 2 O 2 . The AuNPs/porous GaN electrode showed linear amperometric responses for H 2 O 2 in the concentration range from 10 to 100 μM with the sensitivity of 281.5 μA mM −1 . The limit of detection (LOD) is 2 μM with a signal-to-noise ratio of 3. In addition, the AuNPs/porous GaN electrode exhibited good repeatability, reproducibility, selectivity and long-term stability for H 2 O 2 detection, in the meanwhile, AuNPs showed excellent adhesive capacity to the porous GaN electrode, which was tested by continually sonicating the AuNPs/porous GaN electrode for 3 h. Porous gallium nitride (PGaN) layers were fabricated by metal-assisted photochemical etching (MaPCE) using electrodeposited platinum nanoparticles (PtNPs) or gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) as catalysts. After identification of a suitable negative potential and appropriate cyclic voltammetry (CV) conditions, high-density PtNPs or AuNPs were deposited onto a planar GaN substrate. Based on the concrete numerical values of energy levels, the generation, transfer and consumption of electrons and holes, and the assumption that localized galvanic cells are formed, an etching mechanism was proposed which may provide theoretical guidance for future work on etching of GaN and other semiconductor materials. Due to the Weyl anomaly, an axial vector field produces novel anomalous chiral currents in spacetime with boundaries. Remarkably, the chiral current is not invariant under the gauge transformation of axial vector fields. As a result, more potential terms appear, and the chiral current becomes larger than the electric current near the boundary. This paper investigates the anomalous chiral current in AdS/BCFT. We find that the minimal holographic model of the axial vector field cannot produce the expected chiral current. To resolve this problem, we propose adding a suitable boundary action. Furthermore, we notice a similar situation for holographic condensation. Here we report an environment-friendly approach to fabricate porous GaN photoelectrode using ionic liquid as the etchant. SEM images revealed photo-assisted electrochemical etching (PECE) has better etching effect than electrochemical etching (ECE). Furthermore, Raman spectra demonstrated porous GaN obtained by PECE has better lattice integrity than that obtained by ECE. The photocurrent of porous GaN prepared by PECE is six times and two times of planar and porous GaN fabricated by ECE, respectively. In this paper we investigate the entropy of gravitational Chern-Simons terms for the horizon with non-vanishing extrinsic curvatures, or the holographic entanglement entropy for arbitrary entangling surface. In 3D there is no anomaly of entropy. But the original squashed cone method can not be used directly to get the correct result. For higher dimensions the anomaly of entropy would appear, still, we can not use the squashed cone method directly. That is becasuse the Chern-Simons action is not gauge invariant. To get a reasonable result we suggest two methods. One is by adding a boundary term to recover the gauge invariance. This boundary term can be derived from the variation of the Chern-Simons action. The other one is by using the Chern-Simons relation dΩ = tr( R). We notice that the entropy of tr( R) is a total derivative locally, i.e. S = ds. We propose to identify s with the entropy of gravitational Chern-Simons terms Ω. In the first method we could get the correct result for Wald entropy in arbitrary dimension. In the second approach, in addition to Wald entropy, we can also obtain the anomaly of entropy with non-zero extrinsic curvatures. It was found by Hung, Myers and Smolkin that there is entropy discrepancy for the CFTs in 6-dimensional space–time, between the field theoretical and the holographic analyses. Recently, two different resolutions to this puzzle have been proposed. One of them suggests to utilize the anomaly-like entropy and the generalized Wald entropy to resolve the HMS puzzle, while the other one initiates the use of the entanglement entropy which arises from total derivative terms in the Weyl anomaly to explain the HMS mismatch. We investigate these two proposals carefully in this note. By studying the CFTs dual to Einstein gravity, we find that the second proposal cannot solve the HMS puzzle. Moreover, the Wald entropy formula is not well-defined on horizon with extrinsic curvatures, in the sense that, in general, it gives different results for equivalent actions. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Farmland images recognition and classification are of great significance in farmland environmental perception. Since the open and unstructured farmland environment has complex scenes, and is easily affected by various factors, furthermore, environmental information is uncertain and hard to predict. Based on hue saturation value (HSV), hue saturation lightness (HSL) and hue saturation intensity (HSI) color space models, taking use of image analysis and classification technology, this paper realizes the classification of farmland images in different environments. On the basis of color space, eight color features of the images are extracted. First, we conducted non equal interval quantification and drew the color feature curves, after that, we selected five eigenvectors which can correctly classify the images. Then, principal component analysis (PCA) was used for dimension reduction. Finally, radial basis function (RBF) neural network was joined for the extraction of images in the same scenes and different ones. The performance of the use of multiple color spaces combining with PCA and RBF shows that the average recognition rates of sunny days and cloudy days in the same scenes and different scenes are 100%, 87.36% and 84.58%, 68.11% respectively. Background/Aim: There are no epidemiological reports focused on the oral and maxillofacial surgery emergency department in the West China Hospital of Stomatology. The aim of this study was to analyse the epidemiological characteristics of emergency patients admitted for Trauma and Plastic Surgery Department of the West China Hospital of Stomatology from 2016–2019. Materials and Methods: In this retrospective study, 5220 patients with complete medical records were evaluated. The following data were collected: gender, age, etiology, disease type distribution, anatomic injury site and treatment modality. Results: There were 3046 males and 2174 females (ratio 1.40:1), with an average age of 16.2 years. The largest group was children aged between 3 and 6 years old (28.3%). Maxillofacial injuries were the most common condition (87.3%), which mostly occurred on the forehead (29.7%), followed by the lips (27.8%). A fall was the leading cause of injury (59.9%), especially in patients younger than 6 years old. There were 327 cases of maxillofacial space infections (MSI), and the mandibular third molars were the most common tooth associated with odontogenic infections (36.2%). Univariable analysis identified that multiple‐space infection, visit time and systemic conditions were the risk factors for being admitted to the hospital for treatment. There were 116 patients (2.2%) with bleeding as the main complaint, and most of the maxillofacial bleeding patients could be stopped by compression (52.6%). Conclusion: Males and children aged younger than 6 years were the highest risk populations. Trauma accounted for the majority of emergency patients in maxillofacial surgery. Most maxillofacial injuries involved the forehead and were mainly caused by accidental falls. The proportion of MSI was not high, but serious cases may be life‐threatening. Background: Manumycin exhibits an antitumor effect in a variety of cancer cell lines, including prostate cancer cell lines (DU145 and PC-3). Our previous studies demonstrated that manumycin induced the apoptosis of anaplastic thyroid cancer cells and leukemia cells via the intrinsic apoptosis pathway. In the current study, we further evaluated the effect of manumycin in two prostate cancer cell lines (LNCaP and 22Rv1), and here we elucidate some of the underlying mechanisms. Materials and methods: The cell viability of prostate cancer cells was measured by 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide assay after treatment with manumycin for 48 hours. Apoptosis was detected by flow cytometry using annexin V and propidium iodide. The expressions of B-cell lymphoma (Bcl)-2 family members and the activations of caspase-9 and caspase-3 were detected by Western blotting. Results: Manumycin treatment resulted in significant decreases in the viabilities of the two prostate cancer cell lines in a dose-dependent manner through apoptosis, and this apoptosis involved caspase-9 activation. A specific inhibitor of caspase-9 protected cells from caspase-3 activation, apoptosis, and cytotoxicity induced by manumycin. We also found that manumycin downregulated Bcl-2 expression and upregulated Bax expression. Conclusion: Our data suggest that manumycin induces apoptosis in prostate cancer cells through regulation of the Bcl-2 family involving caspase-9 activation. We develop a general approach to simplify the derivation of the holographic Weyl anomaly. As an application, we derive the holographic Weyl anomaly from general higher derivative gravity in asymptotically AdS5 and AdS7. Interestingly, to derive all the central charges of 4d and 6d conformal field theories (CFTs) we make no use of equations of motion. Following Myers’ idea, we propose a formula of holographic entanglement entropy for higher derivative gravity in asymptotically AdS5. Applying this formula, we obtain the correct universal term of entanglement entropy for 4d CFTs. It turns out that our formula is the leading term of Dong’s proposal in asymptotically AdS5. Since only the leading term contributes to the universal log term, we actually prove that Dong’s proposal yields the correct universal term of entanglement entropy for 4d CFTs. Abstract: Variance is substituted by semi-variance in Markowitz’s portfolio selection model. Moreover, one period portfolio selection is extended to multi-period. In this paper, a class of multi-period semi-variance model is formulated originally. Besides, a hybrid genetic algorithm (GA), which makes use of the position displacement strategy of the particle swarm optimizer (PSO) as a mutation operation, is applied to solve the multi-period semi-variance model. The previous studies of the island and double holography mainly focus on codimension-one branes. This paper explores the island on the codimension-two brane in AdS/dCFT. The codimension-two brane is closely related to conical singularity, which is very different from the codimension-one brane. We analyze the mass spectrum of gravitons on the codimension-two brane and find that the larger the brane tension is, the smaller the gravitational mass is. The massless mode is forbidden by either the boundary or normalization conditions. We prove that the first massive gravitational mode is located on the codimension-two brane; the larger the tension, the better the localization. It is similar to the case of codimension-one brane and builds an excellent physical foundation for the study of black hole evolution on codimension-two branes. We find that the Page curve of eternal black holes can be recovered due to the island ending on the codimension-two brane. The new feature is that the extremal surface passing the horizon cannot be defined after some finite time in the no-island phase. Methotrexate is a widely used drug in clinical practice for the treatment of collagen vascular diseases and malignant tumors. It has good anti-inflammatory and anti-proliferative effects, but the cytotoxicity of methotrexate can cause various adverse reactions in patients. Studies have shown that the sensitivity and tolerance of different individuals to methotrexate is different. There are many reasons for this difference. Among them, genetic polymorphism is one of the main factors that cause individual differences. This article provides an overview of the genetic polymorphisms of key proteins involved in methotrexate metabolism and transport, such as MTHFR, FPGS, γ-GGH, ABC transporter, OATPs, SLC, TS and DHFR, are related to their efficacy and adverse reactions. The aim is to clarify the impact of genetic polymorphisms on the efficacy and adverse effects of methotrexate at the pharmacogenomic level, in order to provide a basis for the clinical application of methotrexate. Weyl anomaly leads to novel anomalous currents in a spacetime with boundaries. Recently it is found that the anomalous current can be significantly enhanced by the high temperature for free theories, which could make the experimental measurement easier. In this paper, we investigate holographic anomalous currents at a finite temperature. It is found that the holographic current is still enhanced by the high temperature in dimensions higher than three. However, the temperature dependence is quite different from that of free theories. This may be due to the fact that the holographic CFT is strongly coupled and there is non-zero resistance in the holographic model. Remarkably, the temperature dependence of holographic anomalous currents is universal in the high temperature limit, which is independent of the choices of background magnetic fields. In this paper, we investigate AdS/BCFT for curvature-squared gravity. To warm up, we start with Gauss-Bonnet gravity. We derive the one point function of stress tensor and show that the central charge related to the norm of displacement operator is positive for the couplings obeying causality constraints. Furthermore, by imposing the null energy condition on the end-of-the-world brane, we prove the holographic g-theorem for Gauss-Bonnet gravity. This corrects a wrong point of view in the literature, which claims that the holographic g-theorem is violated for Gauss-Bonnet gravity. As a by-product, we obtain the boundary entropy and A-type boundary central charges in general dimensions. We also study AdS/BCFT for general curvature-squared gravity. We find that it is too restrictive for the shape of the brane and the dual BCFT is trivial if one imposes Neumann boundary conditions for all of the gravitational modes. Instead, we propose to impose Dirichlet boundary condition for the massive graviton, while imposing Neumann boundary condition for the massless graviton. In this way, we obtain non-trivial shape dependence of stress tensor and well-defined central charges. In particular, the holographic g-theorem is satisfied by general curvature-squared gravity. Finally, we discuss the island and show that the Page curve can be recovered for Gauss-Bonnet gravity. Interestingly, there are zeroth-order phase transitions for the Page curve within one range of couplings obeying causality constraints. Generalizing the discussions to holographic entanglement entropy and holographic complexity in AdS/CFT, we get new constraints for the Gauss-Bonnet coupling, which is stronger than the causality constraint. The Apriori algorithm in association rules is the main algorithm used in the treatment and prevention of chronic diseases in data mining, and the algorithm in the current stage of China's medical field of association between chronic diseases has some problems, such as the need to scan the transaction database of cases several times, producing a large data set and more redundant rules. To address the above problems, a data mining algorithm of association rules combining clustering matrix and pruning strategy is proposed, which improves the algorithm by using the clustering matrix method to compress the stored transaction database and introducing the prepruning and postpruning strategy methods on the basis of adding constraint conditions. The experimental results show that the optimization algorithm has unique advantages in reducing the number of database scans and the number of candidate item sets generated and ultimately greatly reduces the running time and I/O load of the algorithm, and the running efficiency of the algorithm is greatly improved. Recently it is found that, due to Weyl anomaly, a background scalar field induces a non-trivial Fermi condensation for theories with Yukawa couplings. For simplicity, the paper consider only scalar type Yukawa coupling and, in the BCFT case, only for a specific boundary condition. In these cases, the Weyl anomaly takes on a simple special form. In this paper, we generalize the results to more general situations. First, we obtain general expressions of Weyl anomaly due to a background scalar and pseudo scalar field in general 4d BCFTs. Then, we derive the general form of Fermi condensation from the Weyl anomaly. It is remarkable that, in general, Fermi condensation is non-zero even if there was not a non-vanishing scalar field background. Finally, we verify our results with free BCFT with Yukawa coupling to scalar and pseudo-scalar background potential with general chiral bag boundary condition and with holographic BCFT. Summary: Endosperm is the main storage organ in cereal grain and determines grain yield and quality. The molecular mechanisms of heat shock proteins in regulating starch biosynthesis and endosperm development remain obscure.Here, we report a rice floury endosperm mutant flo24 that develops abnormal starch grains in the central starchy endosperm cells. Map‐based cloning and complementation test showed that FLO24 encodes a heat shock protein HSP101, which is localized in plastids. The mutated protein FLO24T296I dramatically lost its ability to hydrolyze ATP and to rescue the thermotolerance defects of the yeast hsp104 mutant.The flo24 mutant develops more severe floury endosperm when grown under high‐temperature conditions than normal conditions. And the FLO24 protein was dramatically induced at high temperature. FLO24 physically interacts with several key enzymes required for starch biosynthesis, including AGPL1, AGPL3 and PHO1. Combined biochemical and genetic evidence suggests that FLO24 acts cooperatively with HSP70cp‐2 to regulate starch biosynthesis and endosperm development in rice.Our results reveal that FLO24 acts as an important regulator of endosperm development, which might function in maintaining the activities of enzymes involved in starch biosynthesis in rice. Although both protein arginine methylation (PRMT) and jasmonate (JA) signaling are crucial for regulating plant development, the relationship between these processes in the control of spikelet development remains unclear. In this study, we used the CRISPR/Cas9 technology to generate two OsPRMT6a loss-of-function mutants that exhibit various abnormal spikelet structures. Interestingly, we found that OsPRMT6a can methylate arginine residues in JA signal repressors OsJAZ1 and OsJAZ7. We showed that arginine methylation of OsJAZ1 enhances the binding affinity of OsJAZ1 with the JA receptors OsCOI1a and OsCOI1b in the presence of JAs, thereby promoting the ubiquitination of OsJAZ1 by the SCFOsCOI1a/OsCOI1b complex and degradation via the 26S proteasome. This process ultimately releases OsMYC2, a core transcriptional regulator in the JA signaling pathway, to activate or repress JA-responsive genes, thereby maintaining normal plant (spikelet) development. However, in the osprmt6a-1 mutant, reduced arginine methylation of OsJAZ1 impaires the interaction between OsJAZ1 and OsCOI1a/OsCOI1b in the presence of JAs. As a result, OsJAZ1 proteins become more stable, repressing JA responses, thus causing the formation of abnormal spikelet structures. Moreover, we discovered that JA signaling reduces the OsPRMT6a mRNA level in an OsMYC2-dependent manner, thereby establishing a negative feedback loop to balance JA signaling. We further found that OsPRMT6a-mediated arginine methylation of OsJAZ1 likely serves as a switch to tune JA signaling to maintain normal spikelet development under harsh environmental conditions such as high temperatures. Collectively, our study establishes a direct molecular link between arginine methylation and JA signaling in rice. This study shows that arginine methylation of OsJAZ1 by OsPRMT6a enhances its binding affinity with OsCOI1a/OsCOI1b, thus promoting the ubiquitination and degradation of OsJAZ1 and, ultimately, jasmonate (JA) responses. In the osprmt6a-1 mutant, the absence of OsJAZ1 arginine methylation results in stabilization of OsJAZ1 proteins, thus repressing JA responses and ultimately leading to abnormal spikelet structures. Although doping can induce room‐temperature phosphorescence (RTP) in heavy‐atom free organic systems, it is often challenging to match the host and guest components to achieve efficient intersystem crossing for activating RTP. In this work, we developed a simple descriptor ΔE to predict host molecules for matching the guest RTP emitters, based on the intersystem crossing via higher excited states (ISCHES) mechanism. This descriptor successfully predicted five commercially available host components to pair with naphthalimide (NA) and naphtho[2,3‐c]furan‐1,3‐dione (2,3‐NA) emitters with a high accuracy of 83 %. The yielded pairs exhibited bright yellow and green RTP with the quantum efficiency up to 0.4 and lifetime up to 1.67 s, respectively.
