The article describes the case of a 73-year-old woman with acute chest pain and dyspnea for seven hours upon presentation. Several imaging studies including cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) and clinical examinations including endomyocardial biopsy were done and she was found to have giant cell myocarditis. She died of low-output syndrome 11 months since the appearance of symptoms.
