Abstract

The article focuses on lactylation-dependent mechanisms underlying TH17 differentiation in experimental autoimmune uveitis (EAU). Topics discussed include the increase in lactylation levels in CD4+ T cells during EAU progression, the role of hyperlactylation of DNA-binding protein, Ikzf1 at Lys164 in promoting TH17 differentiation, and the potential therapeutic implications of targeting Ikzf1 lactylation in autoimmune diseases.
