The book "Working on the Glossary of Grammatical Terms. Reflective and Competency Exercises" offers a series of exercises on Spanish grammar based on the Glossary of Grammatical Terms (GTG) and the New Grammar of the Spanish Language (NGLE). These exercises are aimed at high school teachers and focus on identifying the basic units of syntax and syntactic and semantic functions. The book is organized into six types of exercises with different levels of difficulty, and each one includes references to the GTG and the NGLE to facilitate learning. This volume is conceived as a collection of twelve groundbreaking articles by leading experts and early-career scholars in the field of English linguistics to pay tribute to the academic career of Professor Teresa Fanego[2] on the occasion of her retirement. David Denison in ' I That i -clauses as complements of verbs or nouns' (pp. 61-84) provides a study of the incipient change "shell/signalling noun + I that i -clause" ( I it highlighted the fact that ... i ) > "verb + I that i -clause" ( I it highlighted that ... i ) in recent American English (1900s-2000s), given that by 1900 the "V + I that i -clause" is to a certain extent entrenched in that variety.
