Fidelity (also known as process evaluation) represents the accuracy with which any therapeutic or prevention intervention is implemented. This multidimensional construct is used rather scarcely in the Czech research practice. This paper aims to introduce the fidelity, its dimensions, its importance and scope within prevention research and practice, as well as to introduce measurement procedures, the possibilities and limits when researchnig fidelity of interventions focused on prevention of risk behaviors. In studies that focus on studying effectiveness of prevention interventions, fidelity illustrates the "background" of experimentally implemented prevention activities. Fidelity is the key to greater control (esp. confounding) variables that may have an impact on the results of the experiment. Studies that measure fidelity, often come with better results compared to studies in which fidelity is not measured. Information that fidelity provides facilitate the development and implemention of interventions into practice. Fidelity increases the credit of the intervention under evaluation and of the research team in front of the stakeholders, and multiplies the chances when publishing results in scientific journals. This survey study is divided into five sections. The first section describes how traditional, and for centuries in medicine dominating interest in the disease itself, has been gradually completed by the interest in personal peculiarities of patients suffering from certain diseases. The second section presents the historical context of that change, mainly three impulses involved: the interest of specialists in handicapped and elderly persons; understanding the patient as a client, whose individual needs must be met by the health care; the effort to assess the social impact of health care. The third section explains the content of basic terms used in this field: person-centered care; patient-centered care; patient-centered medicine; patient and their family centered care; people or population centered care. The fourth section notes that although WHO supports the approach focusing on the person/patient and on the population, there are many barriers that complicate the implementation of the new approach in everyday real practice; the study informs about the most important ones. The fifth section draws attention to the weak points of the new approach. The study concludes that the goal of patient-centered care is to improve the quality of care provided, outcomes of the care, to increase peoples' satisfaction, and ultimately to improve the health of the entire population. Clinical practice guidelines are important part of the evidence-based clinical practice and a tool for health care quality improvement. The aim of this study is to provide a systematic analysis of pediatric clinical practice guidelines in the Czech and Slovak republics, and to analyze the methods of their development, adaptation, and implementation. V průběhu let 1999-2015 byl v České republice postupně vytvořen koncept integrovaného systému školské prevence rizikového chování (ISSP). Vlastní návrh vyvíjeného ISSP do praxe a částečné pilotní ověřeni byly hlavními cíli dvou systémových projektů VYNSPI-1 (2009-2011) a VYNSPI-2 (2014-2015). V jeho jádru stojí snaha dosáhnout větší míry harmonizace mezi dvěma klíčovými resortními přístupy Ministerstva školství, mládeže a tělovýchovy ČR (MŠMT) a Ministerstva zdravotnictví ČR (MZ). ISSP byl v první verzi předložen oběma ministerstvům a byla zahájena veřejná diskuse. Meziresortní harmonizace a synchronizace může zásadně ovlivnit nejen klíčové koncepční, ekonomické a personální otázky, ale též celkovou politiku kvality, efektivity a bezpečnosti. Od výsledného synergického efektu celého procesu implementace očekáváme nejen získání větší politické podpory, ale především podpory rodičovské veřejnosti a širší veřejnosti jako celku. Samozřejmě pak také dosažení vyšší motivace klíčových aktérů zapojit se do tohoto integračního procesu. Páteřní část systému je tvořena 4 komponentami: (1) Jednotným teoretickým a terminologickým rámcem a klíčovými koncepty školské prevence rizikového chování; (2) Jednotným výkladovým rámem využívající koncept rizikového chování; (3) Doporučeným kurikulem prevence pro základní školy (tzv. Minimálním preventivním programem); (4) Kvalitou a efektivitou ve školské prevenci rizikového chování. ISSP byl vytvořen s cílem vysvětlit důležité kontextuální vztahy, funkci všech komponent i jejich vzájemný vztah komponent k celonárodnímu systému prevence. Hlavním benefitem realizace ISSP a v něm integrovaného Akčního plánu je formulace dlouhodobé národní strategie mezioborové a meziresortní spolupráce v oblasti prevence rizikového chování. VÝCHODISKA: Z důvodů vysoké prevalence užívání drog a rizikového chování u dětí a dospívajících a nedostatku programů indikované prevence, které se realizují ve školách v České republice, implementujeme do Českého prostředí efektivní program indikované prevence. Program Preventure vznikl v Kanadě v roce 2001, prošel testováním efektivity a vykazuje velmi slibné parametry a byl implementován v dalších zemích (např. Velká Británie, Nizozemí, Austrálie atd.). Tento program se skládá ze dvou částí, diagnostického screeningového dotazníku a intervenčních setkání face-to-face. Určen je pro cílovou skupinu dětí ve věku 12-15 let. CÍLE: Článek popisuje proces převodu a implementace indikované prevence do českého prostředí. Zároveň popisuje výsledky hodnocení tohoto procesu. VÝSLEDKY: Metoda byla implementována dle kroků EMCDDA, konkrétně se jednalo o překlad a standardizaci diagnostického nástroje Substance Use Risk Profile Scale (SURPS). Dále překlad, adaptaci a grafickou úpravu metodických materiálů a podnětových sešitů pro žáky. Proběhl výcvik trenérů a školení facilitátorů metody Preventure. Realizovali jsme pilotní studii s programem, v návaznosti na to proběhly ohniskové skupiny a booster sessions po půl roce. Analýza zkušeností získaných z pilotního testování vedla k finální úpravě materiálů. ZÁVĚR: Program byl úspěšně adaptován na českou populaci a v pilotní fázi s ním byly pozitivní zkušenosti. V současné době dochází k návrhu designu na realizaci randomizované kontrolované (RCT) studie efektivity Preventure. Metoda Preventure indikované prevence může po úspěšném ověření její efektivity zaplnit prázdné místo v preventivních aktivitách realizovaných na českých školách. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In the new world of e-resources many revolutionary changes have occured, and these have fundamentally influenced workflows in libraries. The straight line from the subject selector to acquisitions to cataloging and finally to the shelf no longer worked. E-resources demanded licenses, record-keeping of URLs and IP authentication, permissions, and new payment options such as prepayment, and pay per view, along with many other needs. In response to these revolutionary changes, libraries began to develop supplemental systems, which would be able to capture from the ILS systems important data not easily stored or retrievable. Early local developments laid the foundation stone of the complex commercial Electronic Resource Management Systems (ERMS). It was necessary for libraries to come to the conclusion that the information typical to e-resources would best be stored in one place, in order to more efficiently share it with colleagues and to be able to find it again more quickly. Implementation strategy of preventive and therapeutic interventions in the field of pressure ulcers must be comprehensive and timely and properly prepared. It has to be based on identifi cation of the current situation in the workplace, where the planned implementation of new clinical recommendations will be implemented. The implementation strategy should lead to better care and should enhance professional caregiver's satisfaction. The most important part of the local assessment situation is the evaluation of the type of workplace, human resources and fi nancial resources and costs. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
