Abstract

Type 1 Diabetes(Type 1 DM) is a chronic condition requiring complex self-care. Young adults with Type 1 DM have poor outcomes and are at serious risk of premature death. There is lack of evidence regarding how young adults self-care and what challenges they face. This thesis aimed to investigate challenges to self-care in young adults with Type 1 DM.
