In April 2024, the Institutes of Science and Development, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CASISD) released the 2023 Technology Focus report. The report uses big data and deep learning techniques to explore the hidden deep relationships among patent technologies. Based on 21 812 technology focuses formed by clustering nearly 680 000 dual jurisdictional patents, the Top 100 technology focuses are selected, named, and outlined in 32 technical fields distributed in the four major categories of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) patent classification system, and a key analysis and interpretation of 32 of them are also provided. This study is based on the Top 100 technology focuses and condenses the development trends and hotspots of technology and industry reflected in the analysis of high impact patents big data, so as reflect the situation and technological high grounds of the latest round of sci-tech revolution and industrial transformation. In 2022, Institutes of Science and Development, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CASISD), the National Science Library, CAS, and Clarivate Analytics released their joint report Research Fronts 2022. The report utilized the Essential Science Indicators (ESI) database to do co-citation analysis. The 2022 report started from 12 610 research fronts in ESI and identified a total of 165 research fronts, including hot and emerging specialties spanning 11 broad research areas in sciences and social sciences. With the 165 research fronts and the related core papers and citing papers as the basis for analysis, this study summarized 8 development trends in science and technology, and recent trends and key research questions in 11 broad research areas, aiming to provide reference for studying and forecasting the major development trends in science and technology, summarizing important research issues and then making systematic deployment. Manganese oxides supported on γ-AlO, amorphous SiO, MCM-41, and TiO prepared by an impregnation method were used as heterogeneous catalysts for epoxidation of alkenes with 30 % HO in the presence of NaHCO aqueous solution. The effect of support and manganese loading on their activity was studied. The 1.3-MnO/γ-AlO exhibited superior epoxidazing activity of styrene, compared with other supported MnO. Hydrogen temperature-programmed reduction, UV-vis and ESR analyses suggested that Mn (catalytic activity species) dominated in 1.3 % MnO/γ-AlO due to a strong interaction between MnO and γ-AlO. Recycling studies showed the catalyst was a heterogeneous one and retained its activity after recycling four times. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
