Abstract

The article presents a study which investigates the impact of activity fees on students' participation in athletic extracurricular activities in the U.S. The study used both qualitative and quantitative approaches and an Extracurricular and Participation Fee Survey (EPFS). Results show that the surveyed principals confirmed that the implementation of activity fees would lead in a drop in athletic student participation.
