This paper proposes new methods and strategies for Multi-UAVs cooperative attacks with safety and time constraints in a complex environment. Delaunay triangle is designed to construct a map of the complex flight environment for aerial vehicles. Delaunay-Map, Safe Flight Corridor (SFC), and Relative Safe Flight Corridor (RSFC) are applied to ensure each UAV flight trajectory's safety. By using such techniques, it is possible to avoid the collision with obstacles and collision between UAVs. Bezier-curve is further developed to ensure that multi-UAVs can simultaneously reach the target at the specified time, and the trajectory is within the flight corridor. The trajectory tracking controller is also designed based on model predictive control to track the planned trajectory accurately. The simulation and experiment results are presented to verifying developed strategies of Multi-UAV cooperative attacks. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

N6-methyladenosine (m6A) is the most abundant internal chemical modification of eukaryotic mRNA and plays diverse roles in gene regulation. The m6A modification plays a significant role in numerous cancer types, including kidney, stomach, lung, bladder tumors, and melanoma, through varied mechanisms. As direct m6A readers, the YT521-B homology domain family proteins (YTHDFs) play a key role in tumor transcription, translation, protein synthesis, tumor stemness, epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT), immune escape, and chemotherapy resistance. An in-depth understanding of the molecular mechanism of YTHDFs is expected to provide new strategies for tumor treatment. Senescence, a terminal cell proliferation arrest that is caused by a variety of cellular stresses such as telomere erosion, DNA damage and oncogenic signaling, is classically considered a tumor defense barrier. However, the mechanism by which cancer cells overcome senescence is undetermined. In this study, the gene expression array data of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) was compared with paired normal tissues and showed that a cohort of genes, including proteinases, chemokines and inflammation factors, are upregulated in ESCC, which exhibits the senescence-associated secretory phenotype. In addition, reverse transcription-quantitative polymerase chain reaction was used to demonstrate that gender determining region Y-box 4 (SOX4) is upregulated in ESCC, and that its expression is inversely correlated with senescence markers. In addition, the knockdown of SOX4 expression by short hairpin RNA decreases ESCC cell proliferation and enhances doxorubicin-induced cell senescence. These results reveal the presence of a senescent microenvironment in ESCC, and suggest an important antisenescence role of SOX4 in ESCC progression. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Background: Conventional chemotherapy and radiotherapy for the treatment of lymphoma have notable drawbacks, and passive immunotherapy using a monoclonal antibody is restricted to CD20-positive B cell lymphoma. Therefore, new treatment types are urgently required, especially for T cell lymphoma. One type of new antitumour therapy is the use of active immunotherapeutic agents, such as agonists of the Toll-like receptors (TLRs), which facilitate the induction of prolonged antitumour immune responses. Methods: We have synthesised a novel TLR7 agonist called SZU-101 and investigated the systemic antitumour effect on a murine model of T cell lymphoma in vivo. Results: Here, we report that the intratumoural administration of SZU-101 enhanced the effectiveness of a conventionally used chemotherapeutic agent, doxorubicin (DOX). SZU-101 administration improved tumour clearance in a murine model of T cell lymphoma. The novel combination of intratumourally administered SZU-101 and DOX generated strong cytokine production and enhanced the cytotoxic T lymphocyte response, leading to the eradication of both local and distant tumours in tumour-bearing mice. Conclusions: These findings suggested that combined active immunotherapy can be developed as a promising treatment for T cell lymphoma, which may further improve the effectiveness of the current standard cyclophosphamide, DOX, vincristine and prednisone (CHOP) therapy. The aim of the current study was to investigate the expression of cyclin-dependent kinase 3 (CDK3) in human nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) and to evaluate its association with the clinicopathological characteristics of patients with NPC. CDK3 expression was examined in three NPC cell lines and one nasopharyngeal epithelial cell line by western blot analysis and in 94 specimens of NPC and 40 specimens of inflamed nasopharyngeal tissue by immunohistochemistry staining. CDK3 was overexpressed in the three NPC cell lines, 5-8F, CNE1 and CNE2, compared with the NP-69 naso-pharyngeal epithelial cell line, and was primarily expressed in the cytoplasm. The frequency of CDK3 expression was significantly higher in NPC specimens (67%) compared with inflamed nasopharyngeal tissue specimens (12.5%; P<0.001). CDK3 expression was associated with the degree of infiltration, lymph node metastasis and tumor node metastasis clinical staging, respectively, (P<0.001) in patients with NPC. These results revealed that the expression of CDK3 is associated with the progression of NPC, and may be a potential biomarker for prediction of the prognosis of patients with NPC. Hereditary non-polyposis colorectal cancer (HNPCC) is one of the most common hereditary colon cancer syndrome accounting for 1–5% of all colorectal cancer cases. Germline mutations in DNA mismatch repair (MMR) genes are associated with the clinical phenotype of HNPCC. Defects in the MSH2 gene may account for about 40% of HNPCC cases including nucleotide substitutions, deletions and insertions. Only a few mutations were reported in Chinese families. This study was performed to identify the disease-causing gene mutation(s) and conduct pre-symptomatic diagnosis in a Chinese family with HNPCC. Mutation analysis in MLH1 and MSH2 followed by pre-symptomatic diagnosis in MSH2 was performed on genomic DNA isolated from the family members. A novel duplication mutation of four nucleotides in exon 7 of MSH2 ( MSH2: c.1216_1219dupCGAC) resulting in a premature stop 10 codons downstream in MSH2 (p.L407fsX417) was found. The mutation was associated with HNPCC and an asymptomatic carrier was found in the family. HNPCC in a Chinese family is associated with a novel mutation in the MSH2 gene ( MSH2: c.1216_1219dupCGAC). Hearing impairment is an extremely heterogeneous disorder. A total of 35 loci and 17 related genes for autosomal dominant nonsyndromic hearing loss have been identified. In a Chinese pedigree characterized by autosomal dominant inheritance with bilateral, postlingual, progressive, and sensorineural nonsyndromic hearing impairment, the putative disease gene locus was localized to chromosome 5q31.1-32 by a genome-wide scan. Fine mapping indicated that the disease gene was located within an 8.8-cM region between markers D5S2056 and D5S638, with a maximum two-point logarithm of differences (LOD) score of 6.89 (θ = 0) at D5S2017. By the candidate gene approach, mutation screening of the DIAPH1 and POU4F3 genes at 5q31 was performed.
