A fluidization-like DBD (Dielectric barrier discharge) was energized by a bipolar pulsed power source for the soil remediation. The soil samples from two Chinese industry zones contain PAHs (Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons), PCBs (Polychlorinated biphenyls), halogenated, and other organic pollutants. Their initial concentrations range from 3 ng kg
-1 to 100 ng kg-1 . Soil samples were firstly dried and then treated in air flow bed DBD reactor. The air flow rate, treatment time, input power, treated capacity are 4 L min-1, 30 min, 12 W, and 10 g, respectively. Moreover, the soil flow pattern was simulated via Euler-Euler and Gidaspow drag models. The cleaning efficiencies for PAHs and PCBs are around 96% and 100%, respectively.
