Two-dimensional (2D) Janus transition metal dichalcogenides MXY manifest novel physical properties owing to the breaking of out-of-plane mirror symmetry. Recently, the 2H phase of MoSH has been demonstrated to possess intrinsic superconductivity, whereas the 1T phase exhibits a charge density waves state. In this paper, we have systematically studied the stability and electron–phonon interaction characteristics of MoSLi. Our results have shown that both the 2H and 1T phases of MoSLi are stable, as indicated by the phonon spectrum and the ab initio molecular dynamics. However, the 1T phase exhibits an electron–phonon coupling constant that is twice as large as that of the 2H phase. In contrast to MoSH, the 1T phase of MoSLi exhibits intrinsic superconductivity. By employing the ab initio anisotropic Migdal-Eliashberg formalism, we have revealed the two-gap superconducting nature of 1T-MoSLi, with a transition temperature (Tc) of 14.8 K. The detailed analysis indicates that the superconductivity in 1T-MoSLi primarily originates from the interplay between the vibration of the phonon modes in the low-frequency region and the dz2 orbital. Thermal conductivity and power factor are key factors in evaluating heat transfer performance and designing thermoelectric conversion devices. To search for materials with ultralow thermal conductivity and a high power factor, we proposed a set of universal statistical interaction descriptors (SIDs) and developed accurate machine learning models for the prediction of thermoelectric properties. For lattice thermal conductivity prediction, the SID-based model achieved the state-of-the-art results with an average absolute error of 1.76 W m−1 K−1. The well-performing models predicted that hypervalent triiodides XI3 (X = Rb, Cs) have ultralow thermal conductivities and high power factors. Combining first-principles calculations, the self-consistent phonon theory, and the Boltzmann transport equation, we obtained the anharmonic lattice thermal conductivities of 0.10 and 0.13 W m−1 K−1 for CsI3 and RbI3 in the c-axis direction at 300 K, respectively. Further studies show that the ultralow thermal conductivity of XI3 arises from the competition of vibrations between alkali metal atoms and halogen atoms. In addition, at 700 K, the thermoelectric figure of merit ZT values of CsI3 and RbI3 are 4.10 and 1.52, respectively, at the optimal hole doping level, which indicates hypervalent triiodides are potential high performance thermoelectric materials. 3D human pose estimation has achieved rapid progress in virtual fashion shows. Loose clothing and personalized poses in virtual fashion shows often led to unclear body joint positions and frequent joint self-occlusion. Moreover, the current methods usually focus on salient features, ignoring multi-scale high-resolution features in virtual fashion shows. This paper proposes a residual semantic graph convolutional network (GCN) with high-resolution representation, which contains high-resolution driven 2D feature extraction and semantic guidance 3D pose regression, for 3D human pose estimation in virtual fashion shows. To obtain enough valuable 2D features, we design a multi-scale module to extract global semantic information and local semantic information from high-resolution and low-resolution data respectively. Meanwhile, the feature heat map is regressed into 2D joint coordinates by integral regression. For 3D pose regression, a residual semantic GCN with non-local module, which views the 2D joint coordinates as input, is devised to explore the neighbor relationship of body joints to further improve the vague joint positions and joint self-occlusion. In the above network, each local joint is given a learnable weight to learn local semantic information gradually. Subsequently, the local semantic information is extended to the global level and is blended with obtained global semantic information via non-local operation. The continuous electrolyte decomposition and uncontrolled dendrite growth caused by the unstable solid electrolyte interphase (SEI) have largely hindered the development of Li metal batteries. Here, we demonstrate that tuning the facet of current collector can regulate the composition of SEI and the subsequent Li deposition behavior using single‐crystal Cu foils as an ideal platform. The theoretical and experimental studies reveal that the (100) facet of Cu possesses strong adsorption to anions, guiding more anions to participate preferentially in the inner Helmholtz plane and further promoting the formation of the stable inorganic‐rich SEI. Consequently, the single‐crystal Cu foils with a single [100] orientation (s‐Cu(100)) achieve the dendrite‐free Li deposition with enhanced Li plating/stripping reversibility. Moreover, the Li anode deposited on s‐Cu(100) can stabilize the operation of an Ah‐level pouch cell (350 Wh kg−1) with a low negative/positive capacity ratio (~2) and lean electrolyte (2.4 g Ah−1) for 150 cycles. We examine the uncertainty in households' expectations regarding macroeconomic outcomes, namely inflation and the rate of nationwide home price growth. We document that people extrapolate from the instability of their personal and local environment when assessing the future volatility of these macroeconomic variables. Consequently, there are within-person spillovers in subjective uncertainty regarding different economic outcomes. This extrapolative behavior is more pronounced among lower-numeracy individuals, and it persists throughout the business cycle. People with more uncertain macroeconomic expectations are more likely to engage in precautionary behaviors regarding consumption and equity market exposure and are more concerned about credit market access. An investigation of risk factors has been identified as a crucial aspect of the routine management of rockburst. However, the identification methods for principal impact factors and the examination of the relationship between seismic energy and other source parameters have not been extensively explored to conduct dynamic risk management. This study aims to quantify impact risk factors and discriminate hazardous high-energy seismic events. The analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and entropy weight method (EWM) are utilized to ascertain the primary control factors based on geotechnical data and nearly two months of seismic data from a longwall panel. Furthermore, the distribution law and correlation relationship among seismic source parameters are systematically analyzed. Results show that the effect of coal depth, coal seam thickness, coal dip, and mining speed covers the entire mining process, while the fault is only prominent in localized areas. There are varying degrees of log-positive correlations between seismic energy and other source parameters, and this positive correlation is more pronounced for hazardous high-energy seismic events. Utilizing the linear logarithmic relationship between seismic energy and other source parameters, along with the impact weights of dynamic risks, the comprehensive energy index for evaluating high-energy seismic events is proposed. The comprehensive energy index identification method proves to be more accurate by comparing with the high-energy seismic events based on energy criteria. The addition of calcium carbonate to cigarette paper can enhance its combustion performance and apparent properties. However, it does come at the cost of reduced paper strength. In this study, a flexible calcium carbonate (FCC) was developed through the in-situ formation of calcium carbonate on nanocellulose surfaces. The incorporation of FCC into cigarette paper offered the potential to improve filler retention and combustion performance while maintaining high paper strength. The results of the study demonstrated that when compared to the addition of 30% precipitated calcium carbonate (PCC), the filler retention rate in cigarette paper increased by 31.5% when 30% FCC was used. Scanning electron microscopy images showed that only a minimal number of inorganic particles were observed between the fibers in the FCC-containing paper, indicating appropriate air permeability and fiber-fiber bond strength. Furthermore, when compared to PCC-containing paper, the FCC-containing paper exhibited an 8.8% increase in tensile strength and a 7.5% increase in folding resistance. Additionally, thermogravimetric analysis of the cigarette paper revealed that the incorporation of flexible calcium carbonate effectively lowered the thermal decomposition temperature, leading to a 10.3% increase in the combustion rate of FCC-containing paper. The inclusion of FCC into paper fibers has the potential to enhance air permeability and regulate cigarette burning performance. The contradiction between the migration rate of molecular chains and mechanical strength has always been a key factor affecting the practical application of self‐healing anticorrosion coatings. In this paper, a series of supramolecular self‐healing elastomers (SPU‐MP) were prepared by the reaction of diphenylmethane diisocyanate and polyether amine. The results shown that the proportion of polyetheramine D230 (D230) in molecular segments affects the hydrogen bond density between molecular chains, thereby affecting the self‐healing efficiency and mechanical strength of SPU‐MP. When the ratio of D230 and polyetheramine D400 (D400) is 2:8, the tensile fracture strength of SPU‐MP8 is 5.08 MPa, and the self‐healing efficiency reaches 82.1% after 10 h of repair at room temperature. Further increasing the ratio of D230 increases the relaxation time of the molecular chain due to the increase in hydrogen bond density, resulting in a decrease in the self‐healing efficiency of SPU‐MP. The results of electrochemical experiments and neutral salt spray experiments indicate that the anticorrosion coating prepared by SPU‐MP8 exhibits good self‐healing performance. After immersing in 3.5 wt.% NaCl solution for 35 days, the low‐frequency impedance modulus of the intact coating and the scratch coating were both higher than 107 Ω cm2, still shown good anticorrosion ability. Meat intake, particularly from oily fish, has been associated with various chronic diseases. However, its relationship with acne has always been controversial. Therefore, we have adopted Mendelian randomization (MR) analysis to investigate the causal relationship between different types of meat intake and acne. The exposure and outcome datasets for this study were obtained from the Integrative Epidemiology Unit (IEU) Open GWAS project. Seven datasets on meat intake were included, which consisted of non‐oily fish, oily fish, lamb/mutton, poultry, pork, beef, and processed meat. The main methods used for MR analysis were inverse variance weighted, weighted median, and MR‐egger. To ensure the accuracy of the results, heterogeneity, pleiotropy, and Mendelian randomization pleiotropy residual sum and outlier (MR‐PRESSO) analyses were conducted. Additionally, an analysis of four risk factors (fasting insulin, insulin resistance, total testosterone level, and estradiol level) was performed to investigate the underlying mechanisms linking statistically significant meat intake to acne. Oily fish intake was found to be a protective factor for acne (OR: 0.22, 95% CI: 0.10–0.49, p <.001), and it was also observed that oily fish intake can reduce the level of fasting insulin by the IVW method (OR: 0.89, 95% CI: 0.81–0.98, p =.02). No causal relationship was identified between other types of meat intake and acne. The intake of oily fish reduces the risk of acne by lowering fasting insulin levels. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Berberine (BBR) is used to treat cancer, inflammatory conditions, and so on. But the side effects of BBR causing constipation should not be ignored. In clinical application, the combination of Amomum villosum Lour. (AVL) and BBR can relieve it. However, the effective ingredients and molecular mechanism of AVL in relieving constipation are not clear. A small intestine propulsion experiment was conducted in constipated mice to screen active ingredients of AVL. We further confirmed the molecular mechanism of action of the active ingredient on BBR-induced constipation. Quercetin (QR) was found to be the effective ingredient of AVL in terms of relieving constipation. QR can efficiently regulate the microbiota in mice suffering from constipation. Moreover, QR significantly raised the levels of substance P and motilin while lowering those of 5-hydroxytryptamine and vasoactive intestinal peptide; furthermore, it also increased the protein expression levels of calmodulin, myosin light-chain kinase, and myosin light chain. Dirac materials, due to their unique physical properties, hold vast prospects in both fundamental research and practical applications. Recently, the metallic Dirac material, molybdenene, has been synthesized. However, free-standing molybdenene is found to be dynamically unstable. We propose the use of F/Li to modify its structure and stabilize it. Based on density functional theory, density functional perturbation theory, and anisotropic Migdal–Eliashberg equations, we systematically investigate the electronic structures and superconducting properties of MoF and MoLi. The results indicate that both MoF and MoLi are intrinsic superconductors, with electron–phonon coupling constants of 0.49 and 0.74, respectively. Solving the superconducting gap equation yields a superconducting transition temperature of 7.5 K for MoLi. Further analysis suggests that the coupling between the out-of-plane component of Mo's d orbital electrons and the vibrations of Mo atoms contributes significantly to the electron–phonon coupling in MoLi. Chiral hybrid organic–inorganic metal halides (HOMHs) offer an ideal platform for the advancement of second‐order nonlinear optical (NLO) materials owing to their inherent noncentrosymmetric structures. The enhancement of optical nonlinearity of chiral HOMHs could be achieved by matching the free exciton and/or self‐trapped exciton energy levels with desired NLO frequencies. However, the current scarcity of resonance modes and low resonance ratio hamper the further improvements of NLO performance. Herein, we propose a new resonant channel of charge transfer (CT) excited states from metal halide polyhedra to organic ligand to boost the second‐order optical nonlinearity of chiral HOMHs. The model lead halide (C7H10N)PbBr3 (C7H10N=1‐ethylpyridinium) exhibits a drastically enhanced second harmonic generation in resonance to the deep CT exciton energy, with intensity of up to 111.0 times that of KDP and 10.9 times that of urea. The effective NLO coefficient has been determined to be as high as ~40.2 pm V−1, balanced with a large polarization ratio and high laser damage threshold. This work highlights the contribution of organic ligands in the construction of a resonant channel for enhancing second‐order NLO coefficients of metal halides, and thus provides guidelines for designing new chiral HOMHs materials for advanced nonlinear photonic applications. To meet the demand for higher performance and wearability, integrated circuits are developing towards having multilayered structures and greater flexibility. However, traditional circuit fabrication methods using etching and lamination processes are not compatible with flexible substrates. As a non-contact printing method in additive manufacturing, electrohydrodynamic printing possesses advantages such as environmental friendliness, sub-micron manufacturing, and the capability for flexible substrates. However, the interconnection and insulation of different conductive layers become significant challenges. This study took composite silver ink as a conductive material to fabricate a circuit via electrohydrodynamic printing, applied polyimide spraying to achieve interlayer insulation, and drilled micro through-holes to achieve interlayer interconnection. A 200 × 200 mm2 ten-layer flexible circuit was thus prepared. Furthermore, we combined a finite element simulation with reliability experiments, and the prepared ten-layer circuit was found to have excellent bending resistance and thermal cycling stability. This study provides a new method for the manufacturing of low-cost, large-sized, multilayer flexible circuits, which can improve circuit performance and boost the development of printed electronics. Space-based gravitational wave detection is extremely sensitive to disturbances. The Keplerian configuration cannot accurately reflect the variations in spacecraft configuration. Planetary gravitational disturbances are one of the main sources. Numerical simulation is an effective method to investigate the impact of perturbation on spacecraft orbits. This study shows that, in the context of the Taiji project, Earth's gravity is an essential factor in the change in heliocentric formation configuration, contributing to the relative acceleration between spacecrafts in the order of O (10 − 6) m · s − 2 . Considering 00:00:00 on 27 October 2032 as the initial orbiting moment, under the influence of Earth's gravitational perturbation, the maximum relative change in armlengths and variation rates of armlengths for Taiji is 1.6 × 10 5 km , 32 m · s − 1 , respectively, compared with the unperturbed Keplerian orbit. Additionally, by considering the gravitational perturbations of Venus and Jupiter, the armlength and relative velocity for Taiji are reduced by 16.01 % and 17.45 % , respectively, compared with when only considering that of Earth. The maximum amplitude of the formation motion indicator changes with the orbit entry time. Results show that the relative velocity increase between the spacecrafts is minimal when the initial orbital moment occurs in July. Moreover, the numerical simulation results are inconsistent when using different ephemerides. The differences between ephemerides DE440 and DE430 are smaller than those between DE440 and DE421. Purpose: Patent processus vaginalis (PPV) is usually observed in pediatric abdominal surgery; however, robotic single-port surgery in repairing processus vaginalis has not been reported in children. Herein, we present our clinical experiences in single-port robotic surgeries for PPV repair to evaluate both efficacy and safety. Methods: Retrospective analysis of patients underwent single-port robotic-assisted laparoscopic surgery for genitourinary diseases from May 2020 and May 2023 in our center. Among these patients, 21 children had PPV repaired at the same time. The case characteristics and follow-up data were recorded. Results: Twenty-one of the 53 children were found to have PPV during genitourinary surgery. The simultaneous treatment of the primary disease and PPV with a single-port robotic-assisted platform was both convenient and safe. There was no significant increase in total operation time, and no excessive intraoperative hemorrhage was observed in any of the operations. There were no complications observed on follow-up. Conclusion: With a high incidence of PPV in children, a single-port robotic-assisted procedure is feasible and effective if simultaneously performed when addressing a primary abdominal disease. The development of quantum information science has promoted the emergence of novel molecule-based quantum materials, which attracted widespread interest among chemists. Here we synthesized several bromo-substituted trityl radicals and characterized their spin relaxation properties by X-band pulsed electron paramagnetic resonance. The coherence time of bromo-substituted trityl radicals is enhanced upon the increment of the bromo-substitutions, and significantly longer than the chloro-substituted analogues. In addition, a series of PMMA films doped with different bromo-substituted trityl radicals are prepared and their quantum coherence is characterized at room temperature. The long coherence time of bromo-substituted trityl radicals suggests that these organic molecules are expected to be molecule-based quantum materials for applications in quantum information processing. Bipolar membranes (BPMs) have emerged as a promising solution for mitigating CO2 losses, salt precipitation and high maintenance costs associated with the commonly used anion‐exchange membrane electrode assembly for CO2 reduction reaction (CO2RR). However, the industrial implementation of BPM‐based zero‐gap electrolyzer is hampered by the poor CO2RR performance, largely attributed to the local acidic environment. Here, we report a backbone engineering strategy to improve the CO2RR performance of molecular catalysts in BPM‐based zero‐gap electrolyzers by covalently grafting cobalt tetraaminophthalocyanine onto a positively charged polyfluorene backbone (PF‐CoTAPc). PF‐CoTAPc shows a high acid tolerance in BPM electrode assembly (BPMEA), achieving a high FE of 82.6 % for CO at 100 mA/cm2 and a high CO2 utilization efficiency of 87.8 %. Notably, the CO2RR selectivity, carbon utilization efficiency and long‐term stability of PF‐CoTAPc in BPMEA outperform reported BPM systems. We attribute the enhancement to the stable cationic shield in the double layer and suppression of proton migration, ultimately inhibiting the undesired hydrogen evolution and improving the CO2RR selectivity. Techno‐economic analysis shows the least energy consumption (957 kJ/mol) for the PF‐CoTAPc catalyst in BPMEA. Energy evolution is of great significance for exposing the failure mechanism of coal reservoirs and evaluating the fracturing effect. This study conducted uniaxial compression experiments with bedding intersection angle (θ) as a variable, calculated the energy and analyzed their controlling effects on coal deformation, failure and brittleness. The results show that, with increase in θ, the failure mode of coal changes from tensile fracture to shear failure, and the strength, elastic energy (Ue) and total energy (U) of coal all show a trend of first decreasing and then increasing. Based on the comprehensive criteria of the elastic energy ratio (Ue/U) and stress–strain curve, a new division method of the compression stage is proposed, and the determination of the critical point between stages can avoid the influence of human subjective factors. The transformation of Ue and external loads jointly provides the energy source for the release of dissipated energy (Ud). Ue is the main energy type in the pre-peak stage, and a significant amount of energy is converted into Ud in the failure stage. A new brittleness index was constructed by utilizing the relationship between Ue and Ud. It was found that brittleness is negatively correlated with θ and positively correlated with Ue/U at the peak point. A model of the mechanical strength of coal with structured planes has been constructed and validated by experimental data, which can be used to analyze the effect of structural planes on coal strength. Polarization-dependent second harmonic generation is a widely utilized technique for characterizing symmetry. However, in collinear reflective geometry, the essential beam-splitting device significantly influences both the polarization state of the fundamental and harmonic beams, thereby affecting the accuracy of the obtained second-order nonlinear susceptibility. Here, we propose a data correction method to solve this problem to obtain accurate second-order nonlinear susceptibility. Background: A better understanding of the level-grade inflammation for the development and worsening of heart failure (HF) in different gender groups is an unmet need. We performed an updated analysis on the impact of a series of systemic inflammation markers on HF. Methods: This compensatory cross-sectional study enrolled participants from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) 2015–2018. HF was based on the self-reported questions. Univariate and multivariate logistic regression were used to investigate the association between systemic immune-inflammation index (SII), high sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP), lymphocyte-to-monocyte ratio (LMR), neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR), platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio (PLR) and HF. For patients of different genders, P for trend was used to analyze potential linear trend relationships and the restricted cubic splines (RCS) were used to describe non-linear relationships. The additive interaction was evaluated by the relative excess risk due to interaction (RERI), attributable proportion (AP), and the synergy index (SI). The multiplicative interaction was evaluated by odds ratio (OR) and 95% confidence interval (CI) of product-term. Results: A total of 5,830 participants from the NHANES database were divided into two groups: the HF group (n = 210) and the non-HF group (n = 5620). After gender stratification, hs-CRP (OR: 1.01, 95% CI: 1.00–1.03), SII (OR: 1.00, 95% CI: 1.00–1.01), NLR (OR: 1.22, 95% CI: 1.11–1.35) and LMR (OR: 0.79, 95% CI: 0.65–0.93) were independent meaningful factors for HF in males, there was no non-linear relationship between the three factors (SII, NLR, hs-CRP, all P for non-linear > 0.05) and the prevalence of HF, but we detected a non-linear relationship between LMR and the prevalence of HF in males (P for non-linear < 0.05). An additive interaction of hs-CRP and NLR on the risk of HF in males (RERI (OR): 0.67, 95% CI: 0.12–1.34; AP (OR): 0.14, 95% CI: 0.02–0.24; SI (OR): 1.22, 95% CI: 1.03–1.44). Conclusions: In summary, hs-CRP, NLR, and LMR are superior meaningful markers for HF in males. SII may be a meaningful systemic inflammation warning marker for HF, which needs to be discriminated against with caution. Only detected a non-linear relationship between LMR and the prevalence of HF in males. NLR and hs-CRP may have an additive interaction in the prevalence of male HF patients. Exposure to poisonous and hazardous gases such as NH3, NO2, and CO poses significant health risks. High-performance flexible gas sensors are essential for wearable real-time hazardous gas monitoring. Polyaniline (PANI) materials for gas sensing have advantages over conventional sensing materials like low working temperature, simple manufacturing, low cost, and high flexibility, which is particularly well suited for integrating into the developing Internet of Things to achieve real-time health monitoring or human–computer interaction. However, the PANI gas sensors still need to be improved with respect to their sensitivity, gas selectivity, or other aspects for practical applications. This article reviews three aspects including the PANI gas sensing mechanism, the nanostructure of PANI materials, and mixtures of PANI with other materials as flexible sensors. Nanostructures and nanomorphologies improved the sensor response due to the higher surface-to-volume ratio and abundant adsorption sites. Many innovative approaches to manufacturing composites allow the formation of heterojunctions at the interface to achieve better performance than chemiresistive PANI gas sensors. In response to the increasingly severe situation of main roadway shock in coal seams, with a focus on the strong-bump coal seam in main roadways under an asymmetric goaf in a certain mine, theoretical analysis, numerical simulation, and engineering practices were employed. This study investigated factors influencing main roadway roof shock damage, changes in roof stress, and characteristics of overlying strata movement. This research unveiled the mechanism and prevention of roof shock in main roadways of strong-bump coal seams in an asymmetric goaf. The research results indicate that the influencing factors of main roadway roof shock damage can be divided into two categories: "strata-support" structure strength and surrounding rock stress. For the determination of the "strata-support" structure, in the case of strong bumps in coal seam roadways influenced by the asymmetric goaf, the key factors contributing to shock damage are the side abutment pressure on the coal pillar in the goaf and the activity level of the roof strata. The distribution of roof stress in the main roadway undergoes continuous changes as district faces are sequentially mined. When the goaf area on the west side gradually increases towards the south, the roof stress in the main roadway consistently rises, and the stress increment follows a pattern of initial increase followed by a decrease. The strata structure of the main roadway roof gradually transforms from an "asymmetric T" shape to a "symmetric T" shape in the transverse profile, and with the evolution of the roof rock layer structure, the mutual feedback effect of strata activity on both sides of the roadway gradually strengthens. Affected by the asymmetric goaf, the main roadway in the district undergoes three different stages: one side of subcritical mining influence → both sides of subcritical mining influence → one side of subcritical mining and one side of critical mining influence. In addition, comprehensively considering the impact of various factors in different stages, the theoretical criteria for roof shock failure in the main roadway are determined. The formulation of an optimized position for the main roadway and a scheme for depressurization through deep-hole blasting in the roof reduce the stress level in the surrounding rock of the main roadway, effectively preventing the occurrence of roof shock in the asymmetric goaf of the coal seam main roadway. Crop production is a large source of atmospheric ammonia (NH3), which poses risks to air quality, human health and ecosystems1–5. However, estimating global NH3 emissions from croplands is subject to uncertainties because of data limitations, thereby limiting the accurate identification of mitigation options and efficacy4,5. Here we develop a machine learning model for generating crop-specific and spatially explicit NH3 emission factors globally (5-arcmin resolution) based on a compiled dataset of field observations. We show that global NH3 emissions from rice, wheat and maize fields in 2018 were 4.3 ± 1.0 Tg N yr−1, lower than previous estimates that did not fully consider fertilizer management practices6–9. Furthermore, spatially optimizing fertilizer management, as guided by the machine learning model, has the potential to reduce the NH3 emissions by about 38% (1.6 ± 0.4 Tg N yr−1) without altering total fertilizer nitrogen inputs. Specifically, we estimate potential NH3 emissions reductions of 47% (44–56%) for rice, 27% (24–28%) for maize and 26% (20–28%) for wheat cultivation, respectively. Under future climate change scenarios, we estimate that NH3 emissions could increase by 4.0 ± 2.7% under SSP1–2.6 and 5.5 ± 5.7% under SSP5–8.5 by 2030–2060. Thermoelectrics (TEs) have been considered a sustainable and eco-friendly energy technology. However, due to limitations in energy conversion efficiency, TE devices have not yet been widely adopted. Here, we proposed a class of TE materials, trigonal XPt2Se3 (X = K, Rb), with the same crystal structure as Bi2Te3. At room temperature, with quartic anharmonicity correction, the lattice thermal conductivity (κL) of KPt2Se3 and RbPt2Se3 in the x-direction is only 0.57 and 0.46 W m−1 K−1, respectively. The ultralow κL arises from their layered structure, strong lattice anharmonicity, weak bonding nature, rattling motion of guest alkali metal atoms, and large scattering space. Simultaneously, the large density of states contributes to large power factors. At 800 K, both under n-type and p-type doping, KPt2Se3 exhibits ZT values that can exceed 4 in specific directions, while RbPt2Se3's ZT values can surpass 3, which is significantly higher than traditional TE materials. Our research not only elucidates that the layered trigonal crystals XPt2Se3 (X = K, Rb) represent a category of potential TE materials with ultralow κL and high TE performance but also provides directions for exploring TE materials. Surface plasmon resonance (SPR) sensing methods enable highly sensitive, fast response, and label-free analysis of biomolecular interactions. For SPR sensors, sensitivity and full width at half maximum (FWHM) are two incompatible performance parameters. We propose a refractive index (RI) sensor using a dual-core photonic crystal fiber (PCF) and SPR effects to achieve high sensitivity and a narrow FWHM simultaneously. The air holes of the sensor appear in a hexagonal arrangement, and polishing technology introduces two polishing planes into the cladding. A gold film is deposited on one side of the polished plane to form a highly sensitive RI sensing channel. Five gold nanowires are deposited on the other side of the polished plane to form a RI sensing channel with a narrow FWHM. We analyzed and optimized its structural parameters using the finite element method and determined the optimal structural parameters. The numerical results demonstrate that the maximum sensitivity of the sensor is 21,000 nm/RIU with the narrowest FWHM of 31 nm. Therefore, measuring the refractive index simultaneously with two sensing channels increases the detection accuracy of the measurement. In addition, the findings further indicate that variations in structural parameters do not significantly impact the sensing performance of the sensor, which makes the production of the sensor relatively simple. The objective was to synthesize results from studies that assessed symptom relief after repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) treatment for post‐traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and investigate the long‐term effectiveness of rTMS for treating PTSD. We searched multiple databases for relevant randomized controlled trials of rTMS for PTSD treatment up to 1 January 2023. Two researchers evaluated the studies and focused on the CAPS and PCL as outcome indicators. We used STATA17 SE software for the data analysis. Eight articles involving 309 PTSD patients were analysed in a meta‐analysis, which found that rTMS had a significant and large effect on reducing core post‐traumatic symptoms [Hedges'g = 1.75, 95% CI (1.18, 2.33)]. Both low and high‐frequency rTMS also significantly reduced symptoms, with the latter having a greater effect. rTMS was shown to have a long‐term effect on PTSD, with all three subgroup analyses demonstrating significant results. Interestingly, no significant difference in symptom relief was found between the follow‐up and completion of treatments [Hedges'g = 0.01, 95% CI (−0.30, 0.33)], suggesting that the treatment effect of rTMS is stable. The meta‐analysis provides strong evidence that rTMS is effective in reducing the severity and symptoms of PTSD in patients, and follow‐up studies confirm its long‐term stability. Demantoid is the green variety of andradite [Ca3Fe2(SiO4)3], an exceptionally rare and precious gemstone worldwide. In recent years, a small amount of gem-quality demantoid has been found in Pakistan. This research focuses on nine demantoids sourced from Muslim Bagh, Baluchistan, Pakistan, presenting a comprehensive analysis of the spectral characteristics and inclusions of Pakistani demantoid using classical gemological methods, energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence (EDXRF) chemical analyses, Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy, and ultraviolet and visible (UV-vis) spectroscopy. The results show that the content of Cr and V in most samples is lower than the detection line of EDXRF, with only one sample containing a Cr2O3 content of 0.032%. The extremely low Cr content sets Pakistani demantoid apart from demantoid of the serpentinite type found in other regions. Notably, the UV-vis spectrum reveals characteristic absorption at 443 nm due to Fe3+, while a further contribution from Cr3+ would be highly likely, and weak absorption at 550 nm caused by Fe3+. This suggests that iron (Fe) is the primary chromogenic element of Pakistani demantoid, but the role of Cr3+ cannot be ignored. The FTIR spectrum of Pakistani demantoid displays the absorption peaks associated with [SiO4]4− groups at 937 cm−1, 848 cm−1, and 817 cm−1, while the absorption peaks resulting from trivalent cations appear at 481 cm−1 and 442 cm−1, which are the characteristic FTIR spectra of demantoid. Raman spectroscopy further reveals absorption peaks are displayed near 994 cm−1, 843 cm−1, 818 cm−1, associated with (Si–O)Str vibrations (Si–O stretching vibration), and absorption peaks are displayed near 350 cm−1 and 310 cm−1, related to the rotation of SiO4–R(SiO4)4−, and the peaks near 514 cm−1 and 494 cm−1 are related to (Si–O)bend vibrations (Si–O bending vibration). Additionally, related absorption peaks near 168 cm−1 are attributed to the translation of SiO4–T(SiO4)4−, and absorption peaks near 234 cm−1 are associated with the translation of X2+–T(X2+) (X2+ represents divalent ions). The common dark opaque inclusions found in Pakistani demantoid consist of a combination of magnetite and hematite. Additionally, some samples of Pakistani demantoid display inclusions of calcite. This unique combination of inclusions differentiates Pakistani demantoid from demantoids sourced from other regions. It signifies that Pakistani demantoid has a distinctive geological origin resulting from the interplay of serpentinization and skarnization processes. This geological formation distinguishes it from demantoids solely hosted in serpentinite or skarn environments in other origins. Majorana excitations are the quasiparticle analog of Majorana fermions in solid materials. Typical examples are the Majorana zero modes (MZMs) and the dispersing Majorana modes. When probed by scanning tunneling spectroscopy, the former manifest as a pronounced conductance peak locating precisely at zero-energy, while the latter behaves as constant or slowly varying density of states. The MZMs obey non-abelian statistics and are believed to be building blocks for topological quantum computing, which is highly immune to the environmental noise. Existing MZM platforms include hybrid structures such as topological insulator, semiconducting nanowire or 1D atomic chains on top of a conventional superconductor, and single materials such as the iron-based superconductors (IBSs) and 4Hb–TaS2. Very recently, ordered and tunable MZM lattice has also been realized in IBS LiFeAs, providing a scalable and applicable platform for future topological quantum computation. In this review, we present an overview of the recent local probe studies on MZMs. Classified by the material platforms, we start with the MZMs in the iron-chalcogenide superconductors where FeTe0.55Se0.45 and (Li0.84Fe0.16)OHFeSe will be discussed. We then review the Majorana research in the iron-pnictide superconductors as well as other platforms beyond the IBSs. We further review recent works on ordered and tunable MZM lattice, showing that strain is a feasible tool to tune the topological superconductivity. Phase separation of polymer blends has attracted much interest in designing high-performance materials with specific mechanical and dielectric properties. To this end, three types of poly(methacrylic ester)s, including poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA), poly(butyl methacrylate) (PBMA), and poly(isobutyl methacrylate) [P(iBMA)], have been incorporated in the poly(vinylidene fluoride-co-hexafluoropropylene) [P(VDF-HFP)] matrix, respectively. As exemplified in P(VDF-HFP)/P(iBMA) blended films, a conspicuous phase separation is experimentally observed and the blended film presents an enhanced Young's modulus and a one-fold increment in the elongation over the pristine P(VDF-HFP). The excellent plasticity is benefited from the interfacial regions between the two phases, which could effectively pin the cracks and retard the slippage under deformation. Simultaneously, an ultra-high Weibull breakdown strength (∼774 MV/m) is obtained in the blends, benefiting from the improved Young's modulus and excellent plasticity. The blends are endowed with an excellent energy storage density (∼21 J/cm3 at 830 MV/m), along with an impressive cycling stability. In contrary, P(VDF-HFP)/PMMA and P(VDF-HFP)/PBMA blended films sacrifice the plasticity due to the scarcity of phase separation; therefore, even though Young's moduli have been improved, there is no remarkable improvement for breakdown strengths and energy storage performances. The experimental results are augmented by molecular dynamics simulations. This contribution provides a facile approach to develop high-performance polymer dielectric materials through a phase separation design and emphasize the importance of plasticity for breakdown strength. Background: The aim of this study was to investigate the imaging features, lymph node metastasis, and genetic mutations in micropapillary lung adenocarcinoma (imaging with mixed ground‐glass nodules) ≤2 cm, to provide a more precise and refined basis for the selection of lung segment resection. Methods: A retrospective analysis of 162 patients with surgically resected pathologically confirmed cancers ≤2.0 cm in diameter (50 cases of micropapillary mixed ground‐glass nodules [mGGNs], 50 cases of nonmicropapillary mGGNs, and 62 cases of micropapillary SNs [solid nodules]) was performed. mGGNs were classified into five categories according to imaging features. The distribution of these five morphologies in micropapillary with mGGN and nonmicropapillary with mGGN was analyzed. The postoperative pathology and prognosis of lymph node metastasis were also compared between micropapillary mGGNs and micropapillary with SNs. After searching the TCGA database, we demonstrated heterogeneity, high malignancy and high risk of microcapillary lung cancer cancers. Results: Different pathological subtypes of mGGN differed in morphological features (p < 0.05). The rate of lymph node metastasis was significantly higher in micropapillary mGGNs than in nonmicropapillary mGGNs. In the TCGA database samples, lactate transmembrane protein activity, collagen transcription score, and fibroblast EMT score were remarkably higher in micropapillary adenocarcinoma. Other pathological subtypes had a better survival prognosis and longer disease‐free survival compared with micropapillary adenocarcinoma. Conclusion: mGGNs ≤2 cm with a micropapillary pattern have a higher risk of lymph node metastasis compared with SNs, and computed tomography (CT) imaging features can assist in their diagnosis. The practical application of solid‐state lithium‐metal batteries (SSLMBs) based on polymer solid electrolytes has been hampered by their low ion conductivity and lithium‐dendrite‐induced short circuits. This study innovatively introduces 1D ferroelectric ceramic‐based Bi4Ti3O12‐BiOBr heterojunction nanofibers (BIT‐BOB HNFs) into poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) matrix, constructing lithium‐ion conduction highways with "dissociators" and "accelerating regions." BIT‐BOB HNFs, as 1D ceramic fillers, not only can construct long‐range organic/inorganic interfaces as ion transport pathways, but also install "dissociators" and "accelerating regions" for these pathways through the electric dipole layer and built‐in electric field of BIT‐BOB HNFs, promoting the dissociation of lithium salts and the transfer of lithium ions. The working mechanisms of BIT‐BOB HNFs in the polymer matrix are verified by experimental tests and density functional theory calculations. The obtained composite solid electrolytes exhibit excellent lithium‐ion conductivity and migration number (6.67 × 10−4 S cm−1 and 0.54 at 50 °C, respectively). The assembled lithium symmetric battery achieves good cycling stability of over 4500 h. The LiFePO4||Li full battery delivers a high Coulombic efficiency (>99.9%) and discharge capacity retention rate (>87%) after 2200 cycles. High-throughput design offers a promising way to expedite the de novo design of novel energetic molecules, but achieving this goal necessitates accurate methods for property prediction and efficient schemes for molecular screening. Two approaches for generating energetic molecules are proposed, based on a generative model and a fragment docking scheme, respectively. A high-throughput computation (HTC) workflow based on quantum chemistry is developed for energetic molecule design. Machine learning models are established for predicting crystal density, enthalpy of formation, R–NO2 bond dissociation energy, detonation velocity, detonation pressure, detonation heat, detonation volume and detonation temperature, yielding coefficients of determination (R2) of 0.928, 0.948, 0.984, 0.989, 0.986, 0.986, 0.990 and 0.995, respectively. Thereby, an easy-to-use platform named Energetic Materials Studio (EM-Studio) integrates all the methods and models. Therein, five modules, EM-Generator, EM-QC, EM-DB, EM-ML and EM-Visualizer, work for molecule generation, HTC-aided molecule design, data management, machine learning prediction, and human–computer interaction, respectively. Coalbed methane (CBM) resources are abundant in eastern Yunnan and western Guizhou of China. However, despite the vast reserves, large-scale commercial development of CBM in these areas has not yet been realized. In this study, a comprehensive analysis of the productivity of CBM wells is conducted, leveraging geological and production data from a dataset comprising 19 wells. The investigation encompasses both geological and engineering perspectives, aiming to identify and assess the various factors that significantly influence CBM well productivity. The analysis of the results reveals that the well productivity is positively correlated with the proportion of Type I coal (PTIC), the ratio of critical desorption pressure to reservoir pressure (RCRP), the gas saturation (GS), the initial permeability after reservoir stimulation (IPRS) and the permeability before gas production (PBGP). The well productivity is negatively correlated with the burial depth of the coal seam floor (BDCF) and has a complex relationship with the span of the co-production coal seam. Moreover, to achieve commercial development of CBM wells, the PTIC and GS in co-production coal seam should exceed 60%, the BDCF is less than 800 m, and RCRP, IPRS and PBGP are greater than 0.6, 2.4 mD (Millidarcy. 1 mD = 0.9869233 × 10−15 m2), and 0.3 mD, respectively. The quantitative evaluation of the sensitivity of these influencing factors on CBM well productivity in eastern Yunnan and western Guizhou is accomplished using the gray relational analysis method. The study identifies GS and PBGP as the primary controlling factors impacting the productivity of CBM wells. Building upon these findings, the research presents high productive patterns for CBM wells that emphasize coordinated control of geological and engineering aspects. A negative curvature hollow core fiber (NCHCF) refractive index (RI) sensor based on localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) is proposed. The gold nanowires are deposited in four cladding tubes in the y-direction, with the core region serving as the analyte channel. The full vector finite element method (FEM) is used to analyze the influence of various structural parameters on this sensor, and the structural parameters are optimized and selected. Ultimately, an average sensitivity of 9356.59 nm/RIU is accomplished within a spacious refractive index detection scope of RI = 1.28–1.43. The sensor attained a maximum sensitivity of 10,220 nm/RIU at RI = 1.36. In the bargain, there is an excellent linear correlation between the resonance wavelength and the refractive index of the analyte, with a value of 0.99901 and a factor of merit (FOM) range of 119.9563–155.9432 RIU−1, achieving a resolution of 10−6 RIU. The sensor has potential applications in various fields such as environmental protection, food safety, and medical diagnostics due to its high sensitivity, spacious detection scope, and positive linear response. This study reported a novel class of antiperovskites Rb3X(Se & Te)I, which have strong lattice anharmonicity. Within this type of antiperovskite, we have achieved the separation of phonon and electron transport at the atomic level, allowing it to simultaneously meet low thermal conductivity and high electrical conductivity requirements. At room temperature, considering the quartic anharmonicity correction to phonon frequencies, the lattice thermal conductivities of Rb3SeI and Rb3TeI are only 0.44 W m−1 K−1 and 0.16 W m−1 K−1, making them excellent thermal insulating materials. At the same time, the nearly flat band and high degeneracy characteristics of the valence band maximum contribute to a high power factor in Rb3X(Se & Te)I. At 800 K, the figure of merit ZT values of p-type doped Rb3SeI and Rb3TeI can reach 1.91 and 3.07, far exceeding those of traditional thermoelectric (TE) materials. These results not only reveal that Rb3X(Se & Te)I is a class of high-performance TE materials but also provide new insights for the search and design of high-performance TE materials. Purpose: To evaluate the safety and effectiveness of endovascular treatment for massive haemoptysis caused by pulmonary pseudoaneurysm (PAP). Methods: The clinical data, imaging data, and endovascular treatment protocol of 23 patients with massive haemoptysis caused by continuous PAP were retrospectively analysed. The success, complications, postoperative recurrence rate, and influence of the treatment on pulmonary artery pressure were also evaluated. Results: Nineteen patients with a bronchial artery-pulmonary artery (BA-PA) and/or nonbronchial systemic artery-pulmonary artery (NBSA-PA) fistula underwent bronchial artery embolization (BAE) and/or nonbronchial systemic artery embolization (NBSAE) + pulmonary artery embolization (PAE). The pulmonary artery (PA) pressures before and after embolization were 52.11 ± 2.12 (35–69 cmH2O) and 33.58 ± 1.63 (22–44 cmH2O), respectively (P = 0.001). Four patients did not have a BA-PA and/or NBSA-PA fistula. Embolization was performed in two patients with a distal PAP of the pulmonalis lobar arteria. Bare stent-assisted microcoils embolization was performed in the other two patients with a PAP of the main pulmonary lobar arteries. The PA pressures of the four patients before and after treatment were 24.50 ± 1.32 (22–28 cmH2O) and 24.75 ± 1.70 (22–29 cmH2O), respectively (P = 0.850). The technique had a 100% success rate with no serious complications and a postoperative recurrence rate of 30%. Conclusion: Endovascular treatment is safe and effective for massive haemoptysis caused by PAP. Since a report of superconductivity in elemental boron at high pressure [M. I. Eremets et al., Science, 2001, 293, 272–274], many efforts have been devoted to the search for superconductivity in diverse boron allotropes. However, there are few superconducting phenomena to be discovered theoretically and experimentally in elemental bulk boron crystals at normal pressure to date. In this paper, we propose a metastable but dynamically stable metallic bulk boron phase within the kagome lattice, and demonstrate from first principles good superconductivity with a high superconducting critical temperature Tc, e.g., ∼34–39 K, in the elemental bulk boron at ambient pressure. Our calculations indicate that such a high-Tc superconductivity is closely related to the Fermi surface displaying strong electron–phonon coupling with a two-region-like distribution feature, which resulted from two different types of covalent bonding crossing the Fermi level and also gives rise to a two-gap-like superconducting nature in the system. We uncover that the strong electron-lattice coupling is dominated by the transversal acoustic phonon modes around a degenerate softening kink that places the system on the verge of a latent charge density wave. Edible bird's nest (EBN) mainly made of saliva that secreted by a variety of swiftlets is a kind of precious traditional Chinese medicine. EBNs from different biological and geographical origins exhibit varieties in morphology, material composition, nutritive value and commercial value. Here, we collected four different EBN samples from Huaiji, China (Grass EBN), Nha Trang, Vietnam (Imperial EBN) and East Kalimantan, Indonesia (White EBN and Feather EBN) respectively, and applied label-free quantitative MS-based proteomics technique to identify its protein composition. First, phylogenetic analysis was performed based on cytb gene to identify its biological origin. Second, a total of 37 proteins of EBNs were identified, among which there were six common proteins that detected in all samples and exhibited relatively higher content. Gene ontology analysis revealed the possible function of EBN proteins, and principal component analysis and hierarchical clustering analysis based on 37 proteins were performed to compare the difference of various EBNs. In summary, our study deciphered the common and characteristic protein components of EBNs of different origins and described their possible functions by GO enrichment analysis, which helps to establish an objective and reliable quality evaluation system. Regulating electron transport rate and ion concentrations in the local microenvironment of active site can overcome the slow kinetics and unfavorable thermodynamics of CO2 electroreduction. However, simultaneous optimization of both kinetics and thermodynamics is hindered by synthetic constraints and poor mechanistic understanding. Here we leverage laser-assisted manufacturing for synthesizing CuxO bipyramids with controlled tip angles and abundant nanograins, and elucidate the mechanism of the relationship between electron transport/ion concentrations and electrocatalytic performance. Potassium/OH− adsorption tests and finite element simulations corroborate the contributions from strong electric field at the sharp tip. In situ Fourier transform infrared spectrometry and differential electrochemical mass spectrometry unveil the dynamic evolution of critical *CO/*OCCOH intermediates and product profiles, complemented with theoretical calculations that elucidate the thermodynamic contributions from improved coupling at the Cu+/Cu2+ interfaces. Through modulating the electron transport and ion concentrations, we achieve high Faradaic efficiency of 81% at ~900 mA cm−2 for C2+ products via CO2RR. Similar enhancement is also observed for nitrate reduction reaction (NITRR), achieving 81.83 mg h−1 ammonia yield rate per milligram catalyst. Coupling the CO2RR and NITRR systems demonstrates the potential for valorizing flue gases and nitrate wastes, which suggests a practical approach for carbon-nitrogen cycling. Controlling the kinetics and thermodynamics of electrochemical processes is essential to achieve high-performance multielectron reduction. Background: This study used an atrial septal shunt to compare the treatment progress and prognosis for patients with heart failure (HF) who have different ejection fractions. Methods: Twenty HF patients with pulmonary hypertension, who required atrial septal shunt therapy, were included in this study. The patients underwent surgery between December 2012 and December 2020. They were divided into two groups based on their ejection fraction: a group with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF) and a group with preserved ejection fraction(HFpEF) + mid-range ejection fraction (HfmrEF). Echocardiography was utilized to evaluate parameters such as left ventricular dimension (LVD), left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), and left ventricular end-diastolic volume (LVEDV). Hemodynamic parameters were measured using cardiac catheterization. The patient's cardiac function was assessed using the six-minute walking test (6MWT), KCCQ score, NYHA classification, and the degree of functional mitral regurgitation (FMR). Followed-up visits were conducted at 1, 3, and 6 months, and any adverse effects were recorded. Results: The LVEF values were consistently higher in the HFpEF+HFmrEF group than HFrEF group at all periods (P < 0.05). Differences in LVD were observed between the two groups before the surgery. Statistically, significant differences were found at the preoperative stage, 1 month, and 3 months (P < 0.05, respectively). However, the LVEDV showed a significant difference between the two groups only at 3 months (P = 0.049). Notably, there were notable variations in LAPm, LAPs, and the pressure gradient between the LA-RA gradient at baeline, after implantation, and during the 6 months follow-up (all P < 0.05). Conclusion: Following treatment, the HFpEF+HFmrEF group exhibited more significant improvements in echocardiographic and cardiac catheterization indices than the HFrEF group. However, there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups regarding the 6MWT and KCCQ scores. Background: Rumination impedes problem solving and is one of the most important factors in the onset and maintenance of multiple psychiatric disorders. The current study aims to investigate the impact of social rejection on rumination and explore the underlying neural mechanisms involved in this process. Methods: We utilized psychological questionnaire and resting-state brain imaging data from a sample of 560 individuals. The predictive model for rumination scores was constructed using resting-state functional connectivity data through connectome-based predictive modeling. Additionally, a mediation analysis was conducted to investigate the mediating role of the prediction network in the relationship between social rejection and rumination. Results: A positive correlation between social rejection and rumination was found. We obtained the prediction model of rumination and found that the strongest contributions came from the intra- and internetwork connectivity within the default mode network (DMN), dorsal attention network (DAN), frontoparietal control network (FPCN), and sensorimotor networks (SMN). Analysis of node strength revealed the significance of the supramarginal gyrus (SMG) and angular gyrus (AG) as key nodes in the prediction model. In addition, mediation analysis showed that the strength of the prediction network mediated the relationship between social rejection and rumination. Conclusion: The findings highlight the crucial role of functional connections among the DMN, DAN, FPCN, and SMN in linking social rejection and rumination, particular in brain regions implicated in social cognition and emotion, namely the SMG and AG regions. Borophenes and 2D boron allotropes are metallic and exhibit a BCS superconducting state, unlike graphene. In-plane stretching vibrational modes in bulk MgB2 boron layers induce phonon-mediated superconductivity. However, the effect of stretching vibrational phonon modes on transition temperature (Tc) still requires further investigations. Here, we use first-principles calculations combined with conventional BCS theory to explore the superconducting properties in a series of dynamically stable boron-based sandwich films that have not been realized experimentally. The sandwich films of XB4 (where X = Li, Be, Zn, Ga) are predicted to exhibit good phonon-mediated superconductivity with high Tc values of 25.1 K, 28.7 K, 38.7 K, and 36.2 K, respectively. The origin of the superconducting states is mainly caused by the high metallicity and strong electron–phonon coupling (EPC), which can be attributed to the presence of intercalated atoms within the borophene layers. It is further demonstrated in the XB4 compounds (where X = Li, Be, Zn, Ga) that the pronounced EPC is not solely attributable to the in-plane vibrations of B atoms, but it is also influenced significantly by the out-of-plane vibrations of B atoms. Sandwich (Li,Be,Zn,Ga)B4 films may be a great choice for nanoscale superconductors as the electron–phonon coupling parameter becomes greater than unity, thereby providing a powerful approach for investigating these systems with high critical temperatures. River turbulence is spatially variable due to interactions between morphology of rivers and physical mechanics of flowing water. Understanding the variation of turbulence in rivers is important for characterizing transport processes of soluble and particulate materials in these systems. We present an exploratory effort to understand ecologically relevant flow patterns using measurements of mean flow and turbulence in a highly engineered river channel around an island in the lower Missouri River. Specifically, the profiles of mean river velocities were investigated to examine the logarithmic relation and associated parameters, including shear velocity and bed roughness. Turbulence intensity and Reynolds shear stress were compared with classic open‐channel profiles and previously reported river data in the hydraulics literature. With the capability of pulse‐to‐pulse coherent Doppler velocity profiling in high spatial resolution, we estimated the profiles of turbulence dissipation rate using resolved one‐dimensional velocity spectra. These measurement data allow us to examine the validity of turbulence production‐dissipation balance and the classic open‐channel profiles of turbulence statistics, including turbulence intensity, Reynolds shear stress, dissipation rate, and eddy viscosity. The field data show a strong variation of turbulence profiles in close vicinity of the river island. In shallow water depths close to the island, turbulence is substantially enhanced in comparison with classic open‐channel profiles. Constructing anion-derived solid electrolyte interphase (SEI) by recruiting anions into the solvation sheath of Li+ is extremely conducive to restrain the dendrite growth of Li metal anode. However, the presence of anions in the solvation sheath of Li+ is severely hindered by the solvents with strong coordinating ability in conventional electrolyte. Herein, we boost the content of anions in the primary solvation sheath of Li+ by employing a solvent with low donor number, 2-methyltetrahydrofuran, inducing an anion-derived SEI. As a result, the Li∥Cu cells show a high average Coulombic efficiency (> 99%) over 500 cycles and the Li∥LiFePO4 cells under a low negative/positive capacity ratio of 2:1 exhibit an impressive capacity retention of 90% after 100 cycles. The flavor-changing neutral current (FCNC) decays of charmed hadrons with missing energy (Ɇ) can serve as potentially promising hunting grounds for hints of new physics, as the standard-model backgrounds are very suppressed. A few of such processes have been searched for in recent experiments, specifically D0→ Ɇ by Belle and D0→ π0Ɇ and Λ c + → pɆ by BESIII, resulting in upper bounds on their branching fractions. We consider them to illuminate the possible contributions of the quark transition c → uɆ with a couple of invisible spinless bosons carrying away the missing energy, assuming that they are not charge conjugates of each other and hence can have unequal masses. We find that these data are complementary in that they constrain different sets of the underlying operators and do not cover the same ranges of the bosons' masses, but there are regions not yet accessible. From the allowed parameter space, we show that other D-meson decays, such as D → ρɆ, and the charmed-baryon ones Ξc → (Σ, Λ)Ɇ can have sizable branching fractions and therefore may offer further probes of the new-physics interactions. We point out the importance of D0 → γɆ which are not yet searched for but could access parts of the parameter space beyond the reach of the other modes. In addition, we look at a scenario where the invisibles are instead fermionic, namely sterile neutrinos, and a scalar leptoquark mediates c → uɆ. We discuss the implications of the aforesaid bounds for this model. The predictions we make for the various charmed-hadron decays in the different scenarios may be testable in the near future by BESIII and Belle II. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In nature, plants are exposed to a dynamic light environment. Fluctuations in light decreased the photosynthetic light utilization efficiency (PLUE) of leaves, and much more severely in C4 species than in C3 species. However, little is known about the plasticity of PLUE under dynamic light in C4 species. Present study focused on the influence of planting density to the photosynthesis under dynamic light in maize (Zea mays L.), a most important C4 crop. In addition, the molecular mechanism behind photosynthetic adaptation to planting density were also explored by quantitative proteomics analysis. Results revealed that as planting density increases, maize leaves receive less light that fluctuates more. The maize planted at high density (HD) improved the PLUE under dynamic light, especially in the middle and later growth stages. Quantitative proteomics analysis showed that the transfer of nitrogen from Rubisco to RuBP regeneration and C4 pathway related enzymes contributes to the photosynthetic adaptation to lower and more fluctuating light environment in HD maize. This study provides potential ways to further improve the light energy utilization efficiency of maize in HD.
