A key aspect in evaluating the performance of a UAV or its swarm is reliability. The reliability is calculated based on various mathematical models. Traditionally, Binary-State System (BSS) models, which assess two states—operational and faulty—are employed. However, some studies suggest using a Multi-State System (MSS) model, which allows for a detailed analysis by considering multiple states beyond just operational and faulty. Both mathematical models allow for the evaluation of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) swarms based on availability, which is considered as a probability of swarm mission implementation. There is one more similar assessment computed based on MSS, which is named the probabilities of the performance level. There are not any recommendations for applications of these mathematical models and assessments for reliability analyses of UAV swarms. This paper introduces a comparative study on the availability of UAV swarms using both BSS and MSS models and the probability of performance levels of UAV swarms. This study provides quantitative and qualitative recommendations to exploit these mathematical models and assessments for UAV swarms according to computational complexity and informativeness. The comparative analysis shows that the evaluation of UAV swarm failure should be based on BSS, and the analysis of operation states should be implemented based on probabilities' performance levels instead of swarm availability. These results are confirmed by quantitative and statistical examinations of UAV swarms of different types based on both BSS and MSS. The number of UAVs is changed from 2 to 20 in these examinations. In the article, the extreme problem of finding the optimal placement plan of 5G base stations at certain points within a linear area of finite length is set. A fundamental feature of the author's formulation of the extreme problem is that it takes into account not only the points of potential placement of base stations but also the possibility of selecting instances of stations to be placed at a specific point from a defined excess set, as well as the aspect of inseparable interaction of placed 5G base stations within the framework of SON. The formulation of this extreme problem is brought to the form of a specific combinatorial model. The article proposes an adapted branch-and-bounds method, which allows the process of synthesis of the architecture of a linearly oriented segment of a 5G network to select the best options for the placement of base stations for further evaluation of the received placement plans in the metric of defined performance indicators. As the final stage of the synthesis of the optimal plan of a linearly oriented wireless network segment based on the sequence of the best placements, it is proposed to expand the parametric space of the design task due to the specific technical parameters characteristic of the 5G platform. The article presents a numerical example of solving an instance of the corresponding extremal problem. It is shown that the presented mathematical apparatus allows for the formation of a set of optimal placements taking into account the size of the non-coverage of the target area. To calculate this characteristic parameter, both exact and two approximate approaches are formalized. The results of the experiment showed that for high-dimensional problems, the approximate approach allows for reducing the computational complexity of implementing the adapted branch-and-bounds method by more than six times, with a slight loss of accuracy of the optimal solution. As a large social structure, the health care system is often reflected in media publications. This creates a significant impact on society's attitude towards the system and the state in general. In order to predict and correct state policies, media actions, and identify media shortcomings, it is necessary to analyze the image portrayed by the media and the public's attitude towards it. In this article, we present the results of a multidirectional analysis of a corpus of media publications related to health care. We propose a method for analyzing the information image of health care formed by the mass media based on a topic model of a text corpus. The method evaluates reader interest in various healthcare topics, the dynamics of changes in publication sentiment, and the main information trends. Measurement is a typical way of gathering information about an investigated object, generalized by a finite set of characteristic parameters. The result of each iteration of the measurement is an instance of the class of the investigated object in the form of a set of values of characteristic parameters. An ordered set of instances forms a collection whose dimensionality for a real object is a factor that cannot be ignored. Managing the dimensionality of data collections, as well as classification, regression, and clustering, are fundamental problems for machine learning. Compactification is the approximation of the original data collection by an equivalent collection (with a reduced dimension of characteristic parameters) with the control of accompanying information capacity losses. Related to compactification is the data completeness verifying procedure, which is characteristic of the data reliability assessment. If there are stochastic parameters among the initial data collection characteristic parameters, the compactification procedure becomes more complicated. To take this into account, this study proposes a model of a structured collection of stochastic data defined in terms of relative entropy. The compactification of such a data model is formalized by an iterative procedure aimed at maximizing the relative entropy of sequential implementation of direct and reverse projections of data collections, taking into account the estimates of the probability distribution densities of their attributes. The procedure for approximating the relative entropy function of compactification to reduce the computational complexity of the latter is proposed. To qualitatively assess compactification this study undertakes a formal analysis that uses data collection information capacity and the absolute and relative share of information losses due to compaction as its metrics. Taking into account the semantic connection of compactification and completeness, the proposed metric is also relevant for the task of assessing data reliability. Testing the proposed compactification procedure proved both its stability and efficiency in comparison with previously used analogues, such as the principal component analysis method and the random projection method. Approximately 50% of the world's uranium is mined in a closed way using underground well leaching. In the process of uranium mining at formation-infiltration deposits, an important role is played by the correct identification of the formation of reservoir oxidation zones (ROZs), within which the uranium content is extremely low and which affect the determination of ore reserves and subsequent mining processes. The currently used methodology for identifying ROZs requires the use of highly skilled labor and resource-intensive studies using neutron fission logging; therefore, it is not always performed. At the same time, the available electrical logging measurements data collected in the process of geophysical well surveys and exploration well data can be effectively used to identify ROZs using machine learning models. This study presents a solution to the problem of detecting ROZs in uranium deposits using ensemble machine learning methods. This method provides an index of weighted harmonic measure (f1_weighted) in the range from 0.72 to 0.93 (XGB classifier), and sufficient stability at different ratios of objects in the input dataset. The uranium required for power plants is mainly extracted by two methods in roughly equal amounts: quarries (underground and open pit) and in situ leaching (ISL). Uranium mining by in situ leaching is extremely attractive because it is economical and has a minimal impact on the region's ecology. The effective use of ISL requires, among other things, the accurate assessment of the host rocks' filtration characteristics. An accurate assessment of the filtration properties of the host rocks allows optimizing the mining process and improving the quality of the ore reserve prediction. At the same time, in Kazakhstan, this calculation is still based on methods that were developed more than 50 years ago and, in some cases, produce inaccurate results. According to our estimates, this method provides a prediction of filtration properties with a determination coefficient R 2 = 0.32. This paper describes a method of calculating the filtration coefficient of ore-bearing rocks using machine learning methods. The proposed approach was based on nonlinear regression models providing a 20–75% increase in the accuracy of the filtration coefficient assessment compared with the current methodology. The work used different types of machine learning algorithms based on the gradient boosting technique, bagging technique, feed-forward neural networks, support vector machines, etc. The results of logging, core sampling, and hydrogeological studies obtained during the exploration stage of the Inkai deposit were used as the initial data. All used machine learning models demonstrated significantly better results than the old method. This resulted in improved results compared with previous studies. Climate change, uneven distribution of water resources and anthropogenic impact have led to salinization and land degradation in the southern regions of Kazakhstan. Identification of saline lands and their mapping is a laborious process associated with a complex of ground measurements. Data from remote sensing are widely used to solve this problem. In this paper, the problem of assessing the salinity of the lands of the South Kazakhstan region using remote sensing data is considered. The aim of the study is to analyze the applicability of machine learning methods to assess the salinity of agricultural lands in southern Kazakhstan based on remote sensing. The authors present a salinity dataset obtained from field studies and containing more than 200 laboratory measurements of soil salinity. Moreover, the authors describe the results of applying several regression reconstruction algorithms (XGBoost, LightGBM, random forest, Support vector machines, Elastic net, etc.), where synthetic aperture radar (SAR) data from the Sentinel-1 satellite and optical data in the form of spectral salinity indices are used as input data. The obtained results show that, in general, these input data can be used to estimate salinity of the wetted arable land. XGBoost regressor ( R 2 = 0.282) showed the best results. Supplementing the radar data with the values of salinity spectral index improves the result significantly ( R 2 = 0.356). For the local datasets, the best result shown by the model is R 2 = 0.473 (SAR) and R 2 = 0.654 (SAR with spectral indexes), respectively. The study also revealed a number of problems that justify the need for a broader range of ground surveys and consideration of multi-year factors affecting soil salinity. Key results of the article: (i) a set of salinity data for different geographical zones of southern Kazakhstan is presented for the first time; (ii) a method is proposed for determining soil salinity on the basis of synthetic aperture radar supplemented with optical data, and this resulted in the improved prediction of the results for the region under consideration; (iii) a comparison of several types of machine learning models was made and it was found that boosted models give, on average, the best prediction result; (iv) a method for optimizing the number of model input parameters using explainable machine learning is proposed; (v) it is shown that the results obtained in this work are in better agreement with ground-based measurements of electrical conductivity than the results of the previously proposed global model. The development of information technology has had a significant impact on various areas of human activity, including medicine. It has led to the emergence of the phenomenon of Industry 4.0, which, in turn, led to the development of the concept of Medicine 4.0. Medicine 4.0, or smart medicine, can be considered as a structural association of such areas as AI-based medicine, telemedicine, and precision medicine. Each of these areas has its own characteristic data, along with the specifics of their processing and analysis. Nevertheless, at present, all these types of data must be processed simultaneously, in order to provide the most complete picture of the health of each individual patient. In this paper, after a brief analysis of the topic of medical data, a new classification method is proposed that allows the processing of the maximum number of data types. The specificity of this method is its use of a fuzzy classifier. The effectiveness of this method is confirmed by an analysis of the results from the classification of various types of data for medical applications and health problems. In this paper, as an illustration of the proposed method, a fuzzy decision tree has been used as the fuzzy classifier. Drones, or UAVs, are developed very intensively. There are many effective applications of drones for problems of monitoring, searching, detection, communication, delivery, and transportation of cargo in various sectors of the economy. The reliability of drones in the resolution of these problems should play a principal role. Therefore, studies encompassing reliability analysis of drones and swarms (fleets) of drones are important. As shown in this paper, the analysis of drone reliability and its components is considered in studies often. Reliability analysis of drone swarms is investigated less often, despite the fact that many applications cannot be performed by a single drone and require the involvement of several drones. In this paper, a systematic review of the reliability analysis of drone swarms is proposed. Based on this review, a new method for the analysis and quantification of the topological aspects of drone swarms is considered. In particular, this method allows for the computing of swarm availability and importance measures. Importance measures in reliability analysis are used for system maintenance and to indicate the components (drones) whose fault has the most impact on the system failure. Structural and Birnbaum importance measures are introduced for drone swarms' components. These indices are defined for the following topologies: a homogenous irredundant drone fleet, a homogenous hot stable redundant drone fleet, a heterogeneous irredundant drone fleet, and a heterogeneous hot stable redundant drone fleet. The paper presents the results of a correlation analysis between the information trends in the electronic media of Kazakhstan and indicators of the epidemiological situation of COVID-19 according to the World Health Organization (WHO). The developed method is based on topic modeling and some other methods of processing natural language texts. The method allows for calculating the correlations between media topics, moods, the results of full-text search queries, and objective WHO data. The analysis of the results shows how the attitudes of society towards the problems of COVID-19 changed from 2021–2022. Firstly, the results reflect a steady trend of decreasing interest of electronic media in the topic of the pandemic, although to an unequal extent for different thematic groups. Artificial intelligence (AI) is an evolving set of technologies used for solving a wide range of applied issues. The core of AI is machine learning (ML)—a complex of algorithms and methods that address the problems of classification, clustering, and forecasting. The practical application of AI&ML holds promising prospects. Therefore, the researches in this area are intensive. However, the industrial applications of AI and its more intensive use in society are not widespread at the present time. The challenges of widespread AI applications need to be considered from both the AI (internal problems) and the societal (external problems) perspective. This consideration will identify the priority steps for more intensive practical application of AI technologies, their introduction, and involvement in industry and society. The article presents the identification and discussion of the challenges of the employment of AI technologies in the economy and society of resource-based countries. The systematization of AI&ML technologies is implemented based on publications in these areas. This systematization allows for the specification of the organizational, personnel, social and technological limitations. Residual current devices (RCDs) are most popular devices used in low-voltage installations for protection against electric shock and fire. In cases of high risk of electric shock the application of RCDs is mandatory. Currently, the spread of local direct current (DC) microgrids is widely considered. This creates new challenges for protective systems, in particular those based on RCDs. The main purpose of the research is to test the operation of B-type RCDs by simulating the conditions that may occur in DC microgrids as well as assessment of the effectiveness of electrical safety with the use of such RCDs. The research has revealed that theoretically identical RCDs in terms of technical data can have different tripping properties, including no reaction to residual direct current, which poses a risk of electric shock. This signalizes the necessity of extension of the normative tests performed by manufacturers. Electroencephalogram (EEG) signal classification is used in many applications. Typically, this classification is implemented based on methods which consist of two steps. These steps are known as the step of signal preprocessing and the step of the classification. The signal preprocessing step transforms initial signal into classification attributes. According to several studies, this transformation can result in the loss of some useful information and, consequently, the formed classification attributes are uncertain. This information loss can be taken into account if the classification attributes are fuzzy and the fuzzy classifiers are used at the step of classification itself. The transformation of initial EEG signal into fuzzy attributes needs one more procedure at the step of signal preprocessing. This procedure is fuzzification. An approach based on fuzzy classifiers for EEG signal classification is considered in this article. The approach is evaluated based on two classifiers: fuzzy decision tree and fuzzy random Forest. The classification accuracy is 99.5% for fuzzy decision tree and 99.3% for fuzzy random forest. The comparison with similar studies based on non-fuzzy classifiers indicates that fuzzy classifiers are effective tool for EEG signal classification and have best classification accuracy. The use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in various spheres of human activity is a promising direction for countries with very different types of economies. This statement refers to resource-rich economies as well. The peculiarities of such countries are associated with the dependence on resource prices since their economies present low diversification. Therefore, the employment of new technologies is one of the ways of increasing the sustainability of such economy development. In this context, the use of UAVs is a prospect direction, since they are relatively cheap, reliable, and their use does not require a high-tech background. The most common use of UAVs is associated with various types of monitoring tasks. In addition, UAVs can be used for organizing communication, search, cargo delivery, field processing, etc. Using additional elements of artificial intelligence (AI) together with UAVs helps to solve the problems in automatic or semi-automatic mode. Such UAV is named intelligent unmanned aerial vehicle technology (IUAVT), and its employment allows increasing the UAV-based technology efficiency. However, in order to adapt IUAVT in the sectors of economy, it is necessary to overcome a range of limitations. The research is devoted to the analysis of opportunities and obstacles to the adaptation of IUAVT in the economy. The possible economic effect is estimated for Kazakhstan as one of the resource-rich countries. The review consists of three main parts. The first part describes the IUAVT application areas and the tasks it can solve. The following areas of application are considered: precision agriculture, the hazardous geophysical processes monitoring, environmental pollution monitoring, exploration of minerals, wild animals monitoring, technical and engineering structures monitoring, and traffic monitoring. The economic potential is estimated by the areas of application of IUAVT in Kazakhstan. The second part contains the review of the technical, legal, and software-algorithmic limitations of IUAVT and modern approaches aimed at overcoming these limitations. The third part—discussion—comprises the consideration of the impact of these limitations and unsolved tasks of the IUAVT employment in the areas of activity under consideration, and assessment of the overall economic effect. Featured Application: The classification problem is one of the problems often used in medical applications. The proposed method can be used to quantify the influence of the classification attributes on result of the classification. Health and safety is a problem that is intensively discussed nowadays. The failures in healthcare are called medical errors: if the patient's condition worsens or he/she contracts an illness, then the actions that led to this are interpreted as medical errors. Medical errors can be the result of new procedures, extremes of age, complex or urgent care, improper documentation, illegible hand-writing, or patient actions. One of the ways to reduce medical error is an evaluation of its possibility, and then using the result of this evaluation to improve the medical organization units and processes in patient diagnosis, treatment, and care. This evaluation is possible based on methods of reliability engineering. The reliability engineering methods allow evaluating of different systems' reliability and the influence of external and internal factors on system reliability. These methods' application needs the system to be investigated or objective interpretation in terms of reliability engineering. Therefore, such a system in healthcare, for the diagnosis of disease, a patient's treatment, the influence of different factors on a patient's condition, and others, should be presented according to the rules and demands of reliability engineering. The first step is development of the mathematical representation of the investigated system or object according to the demands of the reliability analysis. One of the often-used mathematical representations in the reliability analysis of a system is the structure function. However, this mathematical representation needs completely specified initial data. The initial data from the healthcare domain for medical error analysis is uncertain and incompletely specified. Therefore, the development of this mathematical representation needs special methods. In this paper, a new method for the mathematical representation of system development based on uncertain and incompletely specified data is proposed. The system evaluation based on the structure function allows computing of many reliability indices and measures used in reliability engineering. The binary information technology reaches its limits set by the atomic size miniaturization, by calculation speed and by the fundamental principle of energy dissipation per bit processing. Employing multiple-valued logic (MVL) cells as computing and memory units reduces energy losses and enables to pack of unprecedented high-density information, but the current silicon-based material technologies have been studied marginally for the material realization of MVL devices. Here, we propose to use the ferroelectrics for the implementation of MVL units using their ability to pin the polarization as a sequence of multistable states. More specifically, the realization of a programmable logic array (PLA) based on MVL units is considered with the application of the ferroelectrics technology in implementation of memory units. The specific of the PLA construction is the use of generalized Reed-Muller expression for the representation of an MVL function. A typical algorithm for signal classification consists of two steps: signal preliminary transformation and classification itself. The procedures of preliminary transformation are used to extract specific features of the initial signal and reduce its dimension for effective classification. The result of this transformation is information loss of initial signal, which implies uncertainty of data used in classification. This uncertainty can be taken into account by the application of fuzzy classifiers. In this paper, a new algorithm with application of fuzzy classifier is proposed for signal classification. A new procedure of fuzzification is added into the preliminary transformation and fuzzy decision tree is used for classification. The efficiency of this algorithm is examined based on the problem of detection of defective blades of an aircraft engine gas turbine. The experiments showed that the accuracy of the classification for the considered example is 0.989. This is the best result in comparison with other classification methods used to solve this problem. Employing many-valued logic (MVL) data processing allows to dramatically increase the performance of computing circuits. Here we propose to employ ferroelectrics for the material implementation of MVL units basing on their ability to pin the polarization as a sequence of multi-stable states. Two conceptual ideas are considered. As the first system, we suggest using the strained ferroelectric films that can host the polarization states, allowing the effective field-induced multilevel switching between them. As the second one, we propose to employ the ferroelectric nano-samples that confine the topologically protected polarization textures, which may be used as MVL structural elements. We demonstrate that these systems are suitable for engineering of the 3-, 4- and even 5-level logic units and consider the circuit design for such elements. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to develop a new mathematical method for the reliability analysis and evaluation of multi-state system (MSS) reliability that agrees with specifics of such system. It is possible based on the application of multiple-valued logic (MVL) that is a natural extension of Boolean algebra used in reliability analysis.Design/methodology/approach Similar to Boolean algebra, MVL is used for the constriction of the structure function of the investigated system. The interpretation of the structure function of the MSS in terms of MVL allows using mathematical methods and approaches of this logic for the analysis of the structure function.Findings The logical differential calculus is one of mathematical approaches in MVL. The authors develop new method for MSS reliability analysis based on logical differential calculus, in particular direct partial logical derivatives, for the investigation of critical system states (CSSs). The proposed method allows providing the qualitative and quantitative analyses of MSS: the CSS can be defined for all possible changes of any system component or group of components, and probabilities of this state can also be calculated.Originality/value The proposed method permits representing the MSS in the form of a structure function that is interpreted as MVL function and provides the system analyses without special transformation into Boolean interpretation and with acceptable computational complexity. Reliability is one of the principal characteristics in the design of many systems. Logic circuits are one of them. These systems are very interesting objects from the reliability point of view, because they have some characteristics that are not very common in classical approaches used in reliability engineering. First, their activity depends not only on the operability of its components (logic gates), but also on other influences, which are represented by values of the circuit input signals. Second, logic circuits are typical instances of noncoherent systems. We propose a new method of computing circuit availability (unavailability) and several measures for investigation of topological properties of a logic circuit. These measures allow us to detect components (logic gates) with the greatest influence on the circuit operability. The method is based on using the methodology of Boolean differential calculus. Structure function is one of the possible mathematical models of the real systems under study in reliability engineering. The structure function represents the correlation the system performance level and components states. The system performance level is defined from the states of all its components. It means that all possible components states and performance levels must be indicated and reflected in the structure function. Initial data for the analysis of real system is uncertain. New methods to construct a structure function based on initial uncertain data is proposed. Fuzzy decision trees (FDTs) are used in this method to transform initial uncertain data about a real system into an exact-defined a system structure function. The proposed method includes three principal steps for the structure function construction: 1) collection of data in the repository; 2) representation of the system model in the form of an FDT; and 3) construction of the structure function based on the FDT. Given the market's saturation with smartphones and the increased power needs that these have as compared with older feature phones, the users' green practices and behavior is emerging as an important research topic. The environmental aspects and general awareness issues are not addressed in this study; however, the limited battery life of smartphones is a decisive factor that shapes the users' behavior, practices and preferences. As such, the users need to follow green practices and carefully assess the energy related characteristics (speed, screen size, weight, and price) that they value the most in a smartphone, to maximize their experience. Based on our previous work that gathered relevant data from 313 users, we extended the analysis in order to examine the user battery life and charging practices, buying habits, green practices and preferences. A new method in decision-making of timing of tracheostomy in COVID-19 patients is developed and discussed in this paper. Tracheostomy is performed in critically ill coronavirus disease (COVID-19) patients. The timing of tracheostomy is important for anticipated prolonged ventilatory wean when levels of respiratory support were favorable. The analysis of this timing has been implemented based on classification method. One of principal conditions for the developed classifiers in decision-making of timing of tracheostomy in COVID-19 patients was a good interpretation of result. Therefore, the proposed classifiers have been developed as decision tree based because these classifiers have very good interpretability of result. The possible uncertainty of initial data has been considered by the application of fuzzy classifiers. Two fuzzy classifiers as Fuzzy Decision Tree (FDT) and Fuzzy Random Forest (FRF) have been developed for the decision-making in tracheostomy timing. The evaluation of proposed classifiers and their comparison with other show the efficiency of the proposed classifiers. FDT has best characteristics in comparison with other classifiers. The media plays an important role in disseminating facts and knowledge to the public at critical times, and the COVID-19 pandemic is a good example of such a period. This research is devoted to performing a comparative analysis of the representation of topics connected with the pandemic in the internet media of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation. The main goal of the research is to propose a method that would make it possible to analyze the correlation between mass media dynamic indicators and the World Health Organization COVID-19 data. In order to solve the task, three approaches related to the representation of mass media dynamics in numerical form—automatically obtained topics, average sentiment, and dynamic indicators—were proposed and applied according to a manually selected list of search queries. The results of the analysis indicate similarities and differences in the ways in which the epidemiological situation is reflected in publications in Russia and in Kazakhstan. In particular, the publication activity in both countries correlates with the absolute indicators, such as the daily number of new infections, and the daily number of deaths. However, mass media tend to ignore the positive rate of confirmed cases and the virus reproduction rate. If we consider strictness of quarantine measures, mass media in Russia show a rather high correlation, while in Kazakhstan, the correlation is much lower. Analysis of search queries revealed that in Kazakhstan the problem of fake news and disinformation is more acute during periods of deterioration of the epidemiological situation, when the level of crime and poverty increase. The novelty of this work is the proposal and implementation of a method that allows the performing of a comparative analysis of objective COVID-19 statistics and several mass media indicators. Semiconductor devices and binary information technology reach their limits set by the atomic size of miniaturization, calculation speed, and the fundamental principle of energy dissipation per bit processing. Therefore, new technologies in logic design and mathematical approaches must be investigated. Application of multiple-valued logic (MVL) in logic design allows developing gates and circuits with more than two stable states. This enables packing an unprecedented high-density of information. Based on this idea, a new technique of the programmable logic arrays (PLA) construction based on MVL units is considered. The unique aspect of this technique is the application of recurrent generalized Reed–Muller expression (GRME) for MVL function representation. The recurrent procedure for this expression's construction is considered and applied in the PLA development. The proposed structure of PLA consists of two blocks that are memory and logic block. In this paper, we also consider the possibility to use the ferroelectrics for the implementation of cells of the memory block of PLA. A structure function is one of the possible mathematical models of systems in reliability engineering. A structure function maps sets of component states into system performance levels. Methods of system reliability evaluation based on structure function representation are well established. A structure function can be formed based on completely specified data about system behavior. Such data for most real-world systems are incomplete and uncertain. The typical example is analysis and evaluation of the human factor. Therefore, the structure function is not used in human reliability analysis (HRA) typically. In this paper, a method for structure function construction is proposed based on incomplete and uncertain data in HRA. The proposed method application is considered for healthcare to evaluate medical error. This method is developed using a fuzzy decision tree (FDT), which allows all possible component states to be classified into classes of system performance levels. The structure function is constructed based on the decision table, which is formed according to the FDT. A case study for this method is considered by evaluating the human factor in healthcare: complications in the familiarization and exploitation of a new device in a hospital department are analyzed and evaluated. This evaluation shows the decreasing of medical errors in diagnosis after one year of device exploitation and a slight decrease in quality of diagnosis after two months of device exploitation.
