Transfer printing is a key technology in the fabrication of flexible electronics. Transfer printing method based on curvature provides a simple and effective way to transfer films onto weakly adhesive or even adhesiveless surfaces, overcoming the shortage of traditional transfer printing methods that it is difficult to print functional materials from strong interface to weak interface and can only be applicable to surfaces with certain interfacial strength. So far, the theoretical principle of the curvature‐based transfer printing method has not yet been developed. In this article, a dual‐interface competitive fracture model is established to analyze the mechanism of printing and picking up processes and quantitatively provide the critical transfer printing radius in terms of material and geometric properties of the transfer printing system. This model is verified to be both correct and widely applicable by rich experimental results, providing a new and reliable theory for the fabrication of inorganic flexible electronics. To understand the role of paddy soils in the global carbon cycle, it is necessary to analyze the characteristics of the organic carbon pool at different soil depths. It was hypothesized that soil organic carbon fractions including labile organic carbon fraction I (LOCF-I), labile organic carbon fraction II (LOCF-II), and recalcitrant organic carbon (ROC) distributed differently within the soil profile. In this study, soil was collected from 27 typical rice fields in Guangdong Province, south China. The carbon fractions of the paddy field soils were analyzed and compared over a 0–60 cm depth profile. The relationship between carbon content and the physical and chemical properties of the soils was further analyzed using correlation analysis and structural equation modeling. The results showed that soil total organic carbon concentration in paddy fields was increased by 22.1% during the last four decades. In the soil organic carbon pool of 0–60 cm profile, the proportion of 67.31 to 70.31% in ROC, 21.75 to 22.06% in LOCF-I, and 7.7 to 10.63% was recorded, respectively, indicating that ROC was the dominating fraction. Storage of soil total organic carbon and fractions all decreased with the increase in soil depth. Correlation and path analysis showed that total nitrogen was the main driving factor affecting the soil carbon fractions, whereas pH and soil bulk density indirectly affected the content of carbon fractions by influencing total nitrogen. Purpose: The variable responses to immunotherapy observed in gastric cancer (GC) patients can be attributed to the intricate nature of the tumor microenvironment. Glutathione (GSH) metabolism significantly influences the initiation and progression of gastric cancer. Consequently, targeting GSH metabolism holds promise for improving the effectiveness of Immune checkpoints inhibitors (ICIs). Methods: We investigated 16 genes related to GSH metabolism, sourced from the MSigDB database, using pan-cancer datasets from TCGA. The most representative prognosis-related gene was identified for further analysis. ScRNA-sequencing analysis was used to explore the tumor heterogeneity of GC, and the results were confirmed by Multiplex immunohistochemistry (mIHC). Results: Through DEGs, LASSO, univariate and multivariate Cox regression analyses, and survival analysis, we identified GGT5 as the hub gene in GSH metabolism with the potential to promote GC. Combining CIBERSORT, ssGSEA, and scRNA analysis, we constructed the immune architecture of GC. The subpopulations of T cells were isolated, revealing a strong association between GGT5 and memory CD8+ T cells. Furthermore, specimens from 10 GC patients receiving immunotherapy were collected. mIHC was used to assess the expression levels of GGT5 and memory CD8+ T cell markers. Our results established a positive correlation between GGT5 expression, the enrichment of memory CD8+ T cells, and a suboptimal response to immunotherapy. Conclusions: Our study identifies GGT5, a hub gene in GSH metabolism, as a potential therapeutic target for inhibiting the response to immunotherapy in GC patients. Background: Cholangiocarcinoma (CCA), characterized by high heterogeneity and extreme malignancy, has a poor prognosis. Doublecortin-like kinase 1 (DCLK1) promotes a variety of malignant cancers in their progression. Targeting DCLK1 or its associated regulatory pathways can prevent the generation and deterioration of several malignancies. However, the role of DCLK1 in CCA progression and its molecular mechanisms remain unknown. Therefore, we aimed to investigate whether and how DCLK1 contributes to CCA progression. Methods: The expression of DCLK1 in CCA patients was detected using Immunohistochemistry (IHC). We established DCLK1 knockout and DCLK1 overexpression cell lines for Colony Formation Assay and Transwell experiments to explore the tumor-promoting role of DCLK1. RT-PCR, Western blot and multiple fluorescent staining were used to assess the association between DCLK1 and epithelial–mesenchymal transition (EMT) markers. RNA sequencing and bioinformatics analysis were performed to identify the underlying mechanisms by which DCLK1 regulates CCA progression and the EMT program. Results: DCLK1 was overexpressed in CCA tissues and was associated with poor prognosis. DCLK1 overexpression facilitated CCA cell invasion, migration, and proliferation, whereas DCLK1 knockdown reversed the malignant tendencies of CCA cells, which had been confirmed both in vivo and in vitro. Furthermore, we demonstrated that DCLK1 was substantially linked to the advancement of the EMT program, which included the overexpression of mesenchymal markers and the downregulation of epithelial markers. For the underlying mechanism, we proposed that the PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathway is the key process for the role of DCLK1 in tumor progression and the occurrence of the EMT program. When administered with LY294002, an inhibitor of the PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathway, the tumor’s ability to proliferate, migrate, and invade was greatly suppressed, and the EMT process was generally reversed. Conclusions: DCLK1 facilitates the malignant biological behavior of CCA cells through the PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathway. Background: Biliary tract cancers have garnered significant attention due to their highly malignant nature. The relationship between abnormal lipid metabolism and tumor occurrence and development is a research hotspot. However, its correlation with biliary tract cancers is unclear. Methods: We enrolled 78 patients with biliary tract cancers and obtained data on clinical characteristics, pathological findings, and preoperative blood lipid indices, including total cholesterol (TC), high‐density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL‐C), low‐density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL‐C), triglycerides (TG), and lipoprotein (a) [Lp(a)]. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves were used to determine the optimal predictive cutoff values of lipid indicators among the participants. Independent risk factors were determined using Cox regression, and survival was predicted using the Kaplan–Meier method. Statistical analyses were performed using SPSS software. Results: Univariate Cox regression analysis revealed that the body mass index (BMI), tumor location, surgical margin, N stage, and abnormally increased LDL‐C, TG, and Lp(a) levels were significantly associated with poor prognosis of biliary tract cancers (p < 0.05). Multifactor Cox regression demonstrated that only N stage (HR = 3.393, p < 0.001) and abnormally increased Lp(a) levels (HR = 2.814, p = 0.004) were significantly associated with shorter survival. N stage and Lp(a) were identified as independent prognostic risk factors for patients with biliary tract cancers. Conclusion: This study presents Lp(a) as a novel biochemical marker that can guide clinical treatment strategies for patients with biliary tract cancers. More effective treatment options and intensive postoperative testing should be considered to prolong the survival of these patients with preoperative abnormal lipid metabolism. Black phosphorus (BP), a novel two-dimensional material, exhibits remarkable photoelectric characteristics, ultrahigh photothermal conversion efficiency, substantial specific surface area, high carrier mobility, and tunable band gap properties. These attributes have positioned it as a promising candidate in domains such as energy, medicine, and the environment. Nonetheless, its vulnerability to light, oxygen, and water can lead to rapid degradation and loss of crystallinity, thereby limiting its synthesis, preservation, and application. Moreover, BP has demonstrated cytotoxic tendencies, substantially constraining its viability in the realm of biomedicine. Consequently, the imperative for surface modification arises to bolster its stability and biocompatibility, while concurrently expanding its utility spectrum. Biological macromolecules, integral components of living organisms, proffer innate advantages over chemical agents and polymers for the purpose of the BP modifications. This review comprehensively surveys the advancements in utilizing biological macromolecules for the modifications of BP. Investigating the effects of natural rainfall on the soil moisture for sloping farmland is extremely important for comprehending a variety of hydrological processes. Rainfall regimes can elicit different responses to soil moisture at the depth of soil layers, and the responses may differ depending on the landscape position of the sloping farmland. This paper utilized the surface runoff natural rainfall and soil moisture measured on sloping farmland with conventional tillage and contour tillage in the red soil area of China to investigate the influence of natural rainfall events on soil moisture content and to evaluate if the response results were consistent across the four rainfall regimes. Natural rainfall events were classified into different four regimes in line with rainfall duration, rainfall amount, and the maximum 30 min rainfall intensity (I30) by the k-means clustering method, including advanced, intermediate, uniform and delayed regimes. The result showed that the advanced regime was the predominant one in the study area, which represented 45.9% of the total rainfall events. The rainfall regimes influenced the surface runoff coefficient and runoff depth on sloping farmland for conventional and contour tillage, with the uniform regime generating the highest runoff coefficient (5.20% and 5.82%) and runoff depth (2.00% and 2.05%), respectively. For the conventional tillage, soil moisture at a depth of 0–20 cm increased appreciably when the rainfall amount was larger than 20 mm and larger than 30 mm for the advanced regime. For the contour tillage, soil moisture in 20–40 cm layer increased for the advanced regime when the rainfall amount was larger than 15 mm and 30 mm, while the values were modified with rainfall duration and the antecedent dry day (ADD). A longer rainfall duration had a more obvious effect on soil moisture increasing in deep soil. At a depth of 20 cm, the ADD showed an appreciably positive correlation with the increment in soil moisture, which means that a brief ADD produces a compounding effect for a natural rainfall event. The present results underline the complexity of the effect of the rainfall events on soil moisture under two tillage measures for different rainfall regimes and suggest that the advanced regime significantly affects the distinction of soil moisture and the contour tillage can effectively reduce soil water loss and enhance water storage on the sloping farmland with red soil, presenting a theoretical basis for local soil and water conservation research and sloping farmland conservation tillage management. Background: Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) is a highly aggressive brain tumor with a poor prognosis. Current treatment options are limited and often ineffective. CAR T cell therapy has shown success in treating hematologic malignancies, and there is growing interest in its potential application in solid tumors, including GBM. However, current CAR T therapy lacks clinical efficacy against GBM due to tumor-related resistance mechanisms and CAR T cell deficiencies. Therefore, there is a need to improve CAR T cell therapy efficacy in GBM. Methods: We conducted large-scale CRISPR interference (CRISPRi) screens in GBM cell line U87 MG cells co-cultured with B7-H3 targeting CAR T cells to identify genetic modifiers that can enhance CAR T cell-mediated tumor killing. Flow cytometry-based tumor killing assay and CAR T cell activation assay were performed to validate screening hits. Bioinformatic analyses on bulk and single-cell RNA sequencing data and the TCGA database were employed to elucidate the mechanism underlying enhanced CAR T efficacy upon knocking down the selected screening hits in U87 MG cells. Results: We established B7-H3 as a targetable antigen for CAR T therapy in GBM. Through large-scale CRISPRi screening, we discovered genetic modifiers in GBM cells, including ARPC4, PI4KA, ATP6V1A, UBA1, and NDUFV1, that regulated the efficacy of CAR T cell-mediated tumor killing. Furthermore, we discovered that TNFSF15 was upregulated in both ARPC4 and NDUFV1 knockdown GBM cells and revealed an immunostimulatory role of TNFSF15 in modulating tumor-CAR T interaction to enhance CAR T cell efficacy. Conclusions: Our study highlights the power of CRISPR-based genetic screening in investigating tumor-CAR T interaction and identifies potential druggable targets in tumor cells that confer resistance to CAR T cell killing. Furthermore, we devised targeted strategies that synergize with CAR T therapy against GBM. For decades, titanium implants have shown impressive advantages in bone repair. However, the preparation of implants with excellent antimicrobial properties as well as better osseointegration ability remains difficult for clinical application. In this study, black phosphorus nanosheets (BPNSs) were doped into hydroxyapatite (HA) coatings using electrophoretic deposition. The coatings' surface morphology, roughness, water contact angle, photothermal properties, and antibacterial properties were investigated. The BP/HA coating exhibited a surface roughness of 59.1 nm, providing an ideal substrate for cell attachment and growth. The water contact angle on the BP/HA coating was measured to be approximately 8.55°, indicating its hydrophilic nature. The BPNSs demonstrated efficient photothermal conversion, with a temperature increase of 42.2°C under laser irradiation. The BP/HA composite coating exhibited a significant reduction in bacterial growth, with inhibition rates of 95.6% and 96.1% against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli. In addition, the cytocompatibility of the composite coating was evaluated by cell adhesion, CCK8 and AM/PI staining; the effect of the composite coating in promoting angiogenesis was assessed by scratch assay, transwell assay, and protein blotting; and the osteoinductivity of the composite coating was evaluated by alkaline phosphatase assay, alizarin red staining, and Western blot. The results showed that the BP/HA composite coating exhibited superior performance in promoting biological functions such as cell proliferation and adhesion, antibacterial activity, osteogenic differentiation, and angiogenesis, and had potential applications in vascularized bone regeneration. In the field of bone defect repair, critical requirements for favorable cytocompatibility and optimal mechanical properties have propelled research efforts towards the development of composite materials. In this study, carbon nanotubes/polylactic acid/hydroxyapatite (CNTs/PLA/HA) scaffolds with different contents (0.5, 1, 1.5 and 2 wt.%) of CNTs were prepared by the thermally induced phase separation (TIPS) method. The results revealed that the composite scaffolds had uniform pores with high porosities over 68% and high through performances. The addition of CNTs significantly enhanced the mechanical properties of resulted PLA/HA, in which the 1.5 wt.% CNTs/PLA/HA composite scaffold demonstrated the optimum mechanical behaviors with the bending elastic modulus of (868.5 ± 12.34) MPa, the tensile elastic modulus of (209.51 ± 12.73) MPa, and the tensile strength of (3.26 ± 0.61) MPa. Furthermore, L929 cells on the 1.5 wt.% CNTs/PLA/HA scaffold displayed good spreading performance and favorable cytocompatibility. Titanium and its alloys have found extensive use in the biomedical field, however, implant loosening due to weak osseointegration remains a concern. Improved surface morphology and chemical composition can enhance the osseointegration of the implant. Bioactive molecules have been utilized to modify the surface of the titanium‐based material to achieve rapid and efficient osseointegration between the implant and bone tissues. In this study, the bioactive substance MC3T3‐E1 protein‐gelatin polyelectrolyte multilayers were constructed on the surface of the titanium implants by means of layer‐by‐layer self‐assembly to enhance the strength of the bond between the bone tissue and the implant. The findings of the study indicate that the layer‐by‐layer self‐assembly technique can enhance surface roughness and hydrophilicity to a considerable extent. Compared to pure titanium, the hydrophilicity of TiOH LBL was significantly increased with a water contact angle of 75.0 ±$$ \pm $$2.4°. The modified titanium implant exhibits superior biocompatibility and wound healing ability upon co‐culture with cells. MC3T3‐E1 cells were co‐cultured with TiOH LBL for 1, 3, and 5 days and their viability was higher than 85%. In addition, the wound healing results demonstrate that TiOH LBL exhibited the highest migratory ability (243 ± 10 μm). Malignant neoplasms represent a significant global health threat. To address the need for accurate diagnosis and effective treatment, research is underway to develop therapeutic nanoplatforms. Iron oxide nanoparticles (NPs), specifically Fe3O4 NPs have been extensively studied as potential therapeutic agents for cancer due to their unique properties including magnetic targeting, favorable biocompatibility, high magnetic response sensitivity, prolonged in vivo circulation time, stable performance, and high self-metabolism. Their ability to be integrated with magnetic hyperthermia, photodynamic therapy, and photothermal therapy has resulted in the widespread use of Fe3O4 NPs in cancer diagnosis and treatment, making them a popular choice for such applications. Various methods can be employed to synthesize magnetic Fe3O4 NPs, which can then be surface-modified with biocompatible materials or active targeting molecules. Multifunctional systems can be created by combining Fe3O4 NPs with polymers. By combining various therapeutic approaches, more effective biomedical materials can be developed. This paper discusses the synthesis of Fe3O4 NPs and the latest research advances in Fe3O4-based nanotherapeutic platforms, as well as their applications in the biomedical field. Separator modification is an efficient strategy to handle with the challenges of lithium metal batteries but its success is primarily subject to the modification of the materials. Herein, a cationic covalent organic framework (COF) composed of positively charged organic units and weakly bonded fluoride ions (F−) is introduced to modify the commercial polypropylene separator (COF−F@PP). It is found that the organic unit has abundant nanopores to homogenize the lithium ions (Li+) flux and can interact with electrolyte solvent molecules to form a desolvation structure of Li+. Meanwhile, the F− within the nanopores is proved to assist in building a robust LiF−riched solid electrolyte interphase to avoid the side reactions between lithium anode and electrolyte. Hence, the COF−F@PP delivers feasible practicality for the outstanding cycling stability, high Coulombic efficiency, and superior rate capability of Li//LFP coin cell at 5 C, low N/P ratio (2.19) full cell, and pouch cell at 1 C. Inhibitors of apoptosis proteins (IAPs) maintain a balance between cell growth and cell death by suppressing caspase activity and modulating immunological responses. Here, two IAPs (EhIap1 and EhIap2) were identified from Eriocheir hepuensis using RT-PCR technology and characterized using bioinformatics software. Sequence analysis showed that the open reading frames of EhIap1 and EhIap2 were composed of 1,839 bp and 696 bp and encoded 612 amino acids and 231 amino acids, respectively. EhIap1 contained two BIR domains, one UBA domain, and one RING domain, and EhIap2 only contained two BIR domains. qRT-PCR showed that EhIap1 and EhIap2 were expressed in various tissues, and their expression levels were highest in the hepatopancreas. Expression levels of EhIAP1 and Eh1ap2 were more than 87.09 and 411 times higher in the hepatopancreas than in muscle, respectively. Under azadirachtin stress, the expression of EhIap1 and EhIap2 was increased in three immune tissues (hepatopancreas, gill, and heart). The expression of EhIap1 was 18.44, 17.75, and 6.16 times higher in hepatopancreas, heart, and gill tissues under azadirachtin stress compared with the control group, respectively. The expression of EhIap2 was 18.44, 15.48, and 3.91 times higher in hepatopancreas, gill, and heart tissue under azadirachtin stress compared with the control group, respectively. The expression of EhIap1 and EhIap2 was higher in surviving individuals than in dead individuals. Rapid post-wound closure is necessary to avoid wound infection and promote scar-free healing when skin trauma occurs. In this study, new types of hydrogel dressings with adjustable contractility were fabricated based on N -isopropyl acrylamide/sodium alginate/graphene oxide (P/SA/GO). Then, the chitosan (CS) solution was used as a bridging polymer to achieve tissue adhesion to the hydrogel. The results show that the hydrogel based on poly(N -isopropyl acrylamide) (PNIPAM) not only has the ability to self-shrink but also can adjust the rate of shrinkage through near-infrared thermal stimulation. At the same time, high adhesion strength (7.86 ± 1.22 kPa) between the tissue and the dressing is achieved through the introduction of bridging polymers (CS), and the coating area of the bridging polymer can be adjusted to achieve regional adhesion. The mouse total skin defects experiments have shown that sutures-free wound closure in the early stages of wound healing could be obtained by adjusting the material temperature. Besides, the dressings can promote scar-free wound healing by reducing inflammatory cell infiltration and collagen deposition. These results indicate that double-crosslinked PNIPAM-based hydrogel dressings with adjustable adhesion and contractility proposed in this study provide a candidate material for achieving trackless wound healing. In the Pseudomonas aeruginosa type strain PA14, 40 genes are known to encode for diguanylate cyclases (DGCs) and/or phosphodiester ases (PDEs), whic h modulate the intr acellular pool of the nucleotide second messenger c-di-GMP. While in general, high levels of c-di-GMP drive the switch from highly motile phenotypes to war ds a sessile lifestyle, the different c-di-GMP modulating enzymes are r esponsib le for smaller and in parts nonoverlapping phenotypes. In this study, we sought to utilize previously recorded P. aeruginosa gene expression datasets on 414 clinical isolates to uncover tr anscriptional changes as a result of a high expression of genes encoding DGCs. This approach might provide a unique opportunity to bypass the problem that for many c-di-GMP modulating enzymes it is not known under which conditions their expression is activated. However, while we demonstrate that the selection of subgroups of clinical isolates with high versus lowexpression of sigma factor encoding genes served the identification of their downstream regulons, we wer e una b le to confirm the predicted DGC regulons, because the high c-di-GMP associated phenotypes were r apidly lost in the clinical isolates,. Heat shock proteins (HSPs) are molecular chaperone proteins that can help maintain cellular protein homeostasis, assist in correcting the folding of cellular proteins, and protect organisms from stress when the body is under stress conditions such as temperature changes or bacterial infections. In this study, the HSP10 and HSP40 genes of Eriocheir hepuensis were cloned and named Eh-HSP10 and Eh-HSP40. The results show that the coding sequence length of the HSP10 and HSP40 genes of E. hepuensis was 309 bp and 1191 bp, encoding 102 and 396 amino acids, respectively. The results of protein domain prediction show that Eh-HSP10 has a Cpn10 domain. The Eh-HSP40 protein contains a DnaJ domain, which is characteristic of the HSP40 gene family. The results of qRT-PCR show that the Eh-HSP10 and Eh-HSP40 genes were expressed in different normal tissues, with the highest expression in the heart. Under Vibrio parahaemolyticus stress, the Eh-HSP10 genes peaked at 6 h, and the Eh-HSP40 peaked at 9 h in the hepatopancreas. In the gill, Eh-HSP10 showed a double peak at 24 and 48 h, and the expression of Eh-HSP40 was time-dependent. In the heart, the expression of Eh-HSP10 increased first and then decreased, whereas Eh-HSP40 peaked at 48 h. The results indicate that the Eh-HSP10 and Eh-HSP40 proteins may play a role in protecting E. hepuensis under V. parahaemolyticus infection and that they may be involved in the innate immune response of E. hepuensis against bacteria. Free-standing carbon nanofibers have been recognized as an effective interlayer to improve sulfur cathode electronic conductivity and inhibit shuttling of polysulfides. However, carbon materials show a limited effect on improving electrochemical performance of lithium–sulfur batteries (LSBs) due to their nonpolar and weak physical limitations for the dissolvable polysulfides. It has been reported that introducing chemical bonds between polar compounds and polysulfides helps to suppress the shuttle effect of polysulfides via combining physical confinement with chemical adsorption. Herein, free-standing N-doped carbon nanofibers embedded with bimetallic CoNi (CoNi@N-CNFs) are constructed as an interlayer for LSBs. Apart from improving electronic conductivity of the sulfur cathode, the CoNi@N-CNF interlayer also displays excellent adsorption ability to the dissolvable polysulfides and promotes conversion reactions between sulfur species. Under the synergistic effect of the carbon framework and CoNi bimetals, the CoNi@N-CNF interlayer achieves decent electrochemical performance with a high initial discharge capacity of 1563 mAh g−1 at 0.2C and 0.53% capacity decay per cycle during 100 cycles. Chimeric antigen receptor (CAR)-expressing macrophages (CAR-M) have a great potential to improve cancer therapy, as shown from several recent preclinical studies. However, unlike CAR-T cell therapy, which has been widely studied, the efficacy and limitations of CAR-M cells remain to be established. To address this issue, in the present study, we compared three intracellular signaling domains (derived from common γ subunit of Fc receptors (FcRγ), multiple EGF-like-domains protein 10 (Megf10), and the CD19 cytoplasmic domain that recruits the p85 subunit of phosphoinositide-3 kinase (PI3K), respectively) for their ability to promote primary CAR-M functions, and investigated the potential synergistic effect between CAR-M and CAR-T cells in their ability to kill tumor cells. We found that CAR-MFcRγ exerted more potent phagocytic and tumor-killing capacity than CAR-MMegf10 and CAR-MPI3K. CAR-M and CAR-T demonstrated synergistic cytotoxicity against tumor cells in vitro. Mechanistically, the inflammatory factors secreted by CAR-T increased the expression of costimulatory ligands (CD86 and CD80) on CAR-M and augmented the cytotoxicity of CAR-M by inducing macrophage M1 polarization. The upregulated costimulatory ligands may promote the fitness and activation of CAR-T cells in turn, achieving significantly enhanced cytotoxicity. Taken together, our study demonstrated for the first time that CAR-M could synergize with CAR-T cells to kill tumor cells, which provides proof-of-concept for a novel combinational immunotherapy. Exclusive enteral nutrition (EEN) can induce remission in patients with pediatric Crohn's disease (CD). This study aims to depict EEN's modification of bile acid (BA) metabolism in pediatric CD and explores the effect of the EEN-enriched BA in inhibiting the inflammatory response. The twelve enrolled pediatric CD patients showed BA dysmetabolism, represented by decreased levels of fecal secondary and unconjugated BAs as determined by UPLC–TQMS, which were accompanied by gut microbiota dysbiosis and reduced BA-metabolizing bacteria including Eubacterium and Ruminococcus genera, assessed by shotgun metagenomic sequencing. EEN treatment induced remission in these patients at eight weeks, and nine patients remained in stable remission for longer than 48 weeks. EEN improved BA dysmetabolism, with some enriched BAs, including hyocholic acid (HCA), α-muricholic acid (αMCA), strongly associated with decreased severity of CD symptoms. These BAs were significantly correlated with the increased abundance of certain bacteria, including Clostridium innocuum and Hungatella hathewayi, which express 3β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase and 5β-reductase. HCA could suppress TNF-α production by CD4+ T cells in the peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) of CD patients. Moreover, intraperitoneal injection of HCA could attenuate dextran sulfate sodium (DSS)-induced mouse colitis. Zinc-air batteries (ZABs) are considered promising candidates for next-generation clean and sustainable energy storage devices because of their low cost, safety, environment-friendliness, and high specific energy density. However, owing to its poor charge-discharge capacity and low efficiency, its practical application remains challenging. The main obstacles are the intrinsic slow reaction kinetics on the air cathode, including the oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) during discharging and oxygen evolution reaction (OER) during recharging. Therefore, a reasonable design of bifunctional ORR/OER electrocatalysts with high activity and stability is the key to the development of ZABs. In this review, the recent advances in bifunctional ORR/OER electrocatalysts as air cathodes in ZABs are discussed from three perspectives: metal-organic framework-based catalysts, metal-free carbon catalysts, and metal-based catalysts. In particular, the synthesis, electrocatalytic activity, and potential mechanism of bifunctional catalysts in ZABs are discussed. In recent years, research on bifunctional catalysts has intensified, and the performance of these catalysts has significantly improved. However, most of the experimental products have complex preparation processes and high costs; therefore, the industrialization of these experimental products remains difficult. Several studies have shown the effectiveness of trans-muscular quadratus lumborum block (TQLB) in analgesia after cesarean delivery. However, the influence of anterior QLB at the lateral supra-arcuate ligament (QLB-LSAL) in this surgery is unclear. This study aimed to compare the analgesic efficacy of bilateral TQLBs with bilateral QLBs-LSAL following cesarean delivery. Ninety-four parturients scheduled for cesarean delivery under spinal anesthesia were enrolled and randomly allocated to undergo either bilateral TQLBs or bilateral QLBs-LSAL with 0.375% of ropivacaine (20 mL each side) following cesarean delivery. Intravenous sufentanil was administered for patient-controlled analgesia (PCA). The primary outcome was postoperative sufentanil consumption during the initial 24 h post-surgery. Secondary endpoints included pain scores, time to the first PCA request, postoperative rescue analgesia, satisfaction scores, and nausea/vomiting events. Sufentanil consumption was significantly reduced in the QLB-LSAL group in the first 24 h compared with the TQLB group after surgery (29.4 ± 5.7 μg vs. 39.4 ± 9.6 μg, p < 0.001). In comparison with TQLB, the time to the first PCA request in the QLB-LSAL group was significantly longer (10.9 ± 4.1 h vs. 6.7 ± 1.8 h, p < 0.001). No differences were observed between two groups regarding pain scores, rescue analgesia after surgery, satisfaction scores, or nausea/vomiting incidence. The significant reduction in opioid consumption in the first 24 h and prolongation in time to first opioid demand in parturients receiving QLB-LSAL compared with TQLB suggest that the QLB-LSAL is a superior choice for multimodal analgesia after cesarean delivery. This paper presents a novel methodology that the offset boosting is applied to construct discrete multicavity chaotic maps for the first time. To use this method, three new hyperchaotic maps with the hemispherical-cylindrical attractor are built based on the spherical structure. The phase spaces of the new chaotic maps are larger and the dynamics are more complex. The results show that the new maps display complex dynamical characteristics, including hyperchaos, large Lyapunov exponent, high complexity and coexisting attractors. By introducing constants into the equations, the discrete multicavity chaotic maps are obtained successfully. The dynamical performance of the new chaotic maps and distribution of cavities can be easily controlled by adjusting the constants. Furthermore, to verify the feasibility of the applications, the digital circuits of the new chaotic maps are implemented based on DSP technique. Liver kinase B1 (LKB1) is known to shape the regulation of macrophage function by participating in multiple processes including cell metabolism, growth, and polarization. However, whether LKB1 also affects the functional plasticity of macrophages in atherosclerosis has not attracted much attention. Abnormal macrophage function is a pathophysiological hallmark of atherosclerosis, characterized by the formation of foam cells and the maintenance of vascular inflammation. Mounting evidence supports that LKB1 plays a vital role in the regulation of macrophage function in atherosclerosis, including affecting lipid metabolism reprogramming, inflammation, endoplasmic reticulum stress, and autophagy in macrophages. Thus, decreased expression of LKB1 in atherosclerosis aggravates vascular injury by inducing excessive lipid deposition in macrophages and the formation of foam cells. To systematically understand the role and potential mechanism of LKB1 in regulating macrophage functions in atherosclerosis, this review summarizes the relevant data in this regard, hoping to provide new ideas for the prevention and treatment of atherosclerosis. Hypoxia refers to insufficient oxygen amounts at the tissue level unable to maintain adequate homeostasis. Severe hypoxia may occur in the absence of subjective breathlessness due to respiratory failure. Precise monitoring of low blood oxygen saturation is crucially desired, catering to the clinical requirements. However, current pulse oximeters cannot function well in monitoring peripheral oxygen saturation limited by the weak peripheral blood circulation at a low oxygen level. In this work, we propose a flexible hybrid electronic (FHE) with a compact structure and high sensitivity for conveniently monitoring hypoxia. This FHE is composed of 10-µm thickness semiconductors with different materials, functionalities, and sizes. Its performance is demonstrated by monitoring arterial blood oxygen saturation (SaO2) at the body's different arteries. The absolute error is less than 2% within a SaO2 ranging from 99% to 63%. The efficient techniques presented in this work may bring light to the next-generation flexible hybrid electronics and provide potential widespread use in research and clinical applications, especially for emergency treatment. Sphingosine‐1‐phosphate receptors (S1PRs) have an impact on the intestinal inflammation of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) by regulating lymphocyte migration and differentiation. S1PR modulators as an emerging therapeutic approach are being investigated for the treatment of IBD. However, the role of S1PRs in intestinal vessels has not drawn much attention. Intestinal vascular damage is one of the major pathophysiological features of IBD, characterized by increased vascular density and impaired barrier function. S1PRs have pleiotropic effects on vascular endothelial cells, including proliferation, migration, angiogenesis and barrier homeostasis. Mounting evidence shows that S1PRs are abnormally expressed on intestinal vascular endothelial cells in IBD. Unexpectedly, S1PR modulators may damage intestinal vasculature, for example increase intestinal bleeding; therefore, S1PRs are thought to be involved in the regulation of intestinal vascular function in IBD. However, little is understood about how S1PRs regulate intestinal vascular function and participate in the initiation and progression of IBD. In this review, we summarize the pathogenic role of S1PRs in and the underlying mechanisms behind the intestinal vascular injury in IBD in order for improving IBD practice including S1PR‐targeted therapies. The genetic relationships of 45 individuals of Psidium guajava from six cultivars were analyzed by screening SSR primers with high polymorphism and good repeatability, which provided a scientific basis for the collection, protection, and utilization of guava germplasm resources in China. In this study, we analyzed genetic diversity and cluster of 45 guava materials using 15 pairs of polymorphic SSR primers. The number of polymorphic bands was 65 with the polymorphism ratio of 97.01%, and the molecular weight of the band ranges from 102 bp to 500 bp. Only two polymorphic bands were detected by primer mPgCIR23, which was the least. In contrast, primer mPgCIR08 detected seven bands with the highest number of polymorphic bands. The average polymorphism information content of the markers was 0.60, Nei's genetic diversity was 0.29, and Shannon's index was 0.44. Additionally, the variation range of genetic similarity coefficient was 0.37–0.99. The clustering pattern generated from the UPGMA method distinctly grouped the cultivated varieties and the seedling strain into four groups when the genetic similarity coefficient is 0.68. All the seedling strains (except S9) were successfully clustered into three subgroups, which confirmed that they were progenies from three different guava varieties, respectively. According to the statistics of the World Health Organization, an estimated 17.9 million people die from cardiovascular diseases each year, representing 31% of all global deaths. Continuous non-invasive arterial pressure (CNAP) is essential for the management of cardiovascular diseases. However, it is difficult to achieve long-term CNAP monitoring with the daily use of current devices due to irritation of the skin as well as the lack of motion artifacts suppression. Here, we report a high-performance skin-like optoelectronic system integrated with ultra-thin flexible circuits to monitor CNAP. We introduce a theoretical model via the virtual work principle for predicting the precise blood pressure and suppressing motion artifacts, and propose optical difference in the frequency domain for stable optical measurements in terms of skin-like devices. We compare the results with the blood pressure acquired by invasive (intra-arterial) blood pressure monitoring for >1500 min in total on 44 subjects in an intensive care unit. The maximum absolute errors of diastolic and systolic blood pressure were ±7/±10 mm Hg, respectively, in immobilized, and ±10/±14 mm Hg, respectively, in walking scenarios. Flexible inorganic bioelectronics represent a newly emerging and rapid developing research area. With its great power in enhancing the acquisition, management and utilization of health information, it is expected that these flexible and stretchable devices could underlie the new solutions to human health problems. Recent advances in this area including materials, devices, integrated systems and their biomedical applications indicate that through conformal and seamless contact with human body, the measurement becomes continuous and convenient with yields of higher quality data. This review covers recent progresses in flexible inorganic bio-electronics for human physiological parameters' monitoring in a wearable and continuous way. Strategies including materials, structures and device design are introduced with highlights toward the ability to solve remaining challenges in the measurement process. Advances in measuring bioelectrical signals, i.e., the electrophysiological signals (including EEG, ECoG, ECG, and EMG), biophysical signals (including body temperature, strain, pressure, and acoustic signals) and biochemical signals (including sweat, glucose, and interstitial fluid) have been summarized. In high-power electric vehicle wireless charging systems, the charging distance is short, and the coupling is strong in order to increase the power density and reduce the coil size and the system cost. With a strong coupling, the receiver-side compensation can be eliminated, and a high efficiency can still be obtained. The inductor-capacitor-inductor-none (LCL-N) topology is formed with the LCL compensation on the primary side. The phase difference between the transmitter and receiver currents is larger than 90°, leading to the magnetic flux cancelation in the ferrites. Thus, the required ferrite thickness of the LCL-N topology is smaller than the fully-compensated topologies. Therefore, a compact, lightweight, and low-cost receiver structure is achieved with the omitted compensation and thinner ferrite. Moreover, the LCL-N topology can achieve zero voltage switching for all loading conditions, withstand open-circuit and short-circuit faults, and is suitable for constant-current and constant-voltage charging due to the fact that it has neither a CC nor a CV output characteristic. Objectives: Protein phosphatase 2A (PP2A), a major serine/threonine phosphatase, is also known to be a target of ROS. The methylation of PP2A can be catalyzed by leucine carboxyl methyltransferase-1 (LCMT1), which regulates PP2A activity and substrate specificity. Methods: In the previous study, we have showed that LCMT1-dependent PP2Ac methylation arrests H2O2-induced cell oxidative stress damage. To explore the possible protective mechanism, we performed iTRAQ-based comparative quantitative proteomics and phosphoproteomics studies of H2O2-treated vector control and LCMT1-overexpressing cells. Results: A total of 4480 non-redundant proteins and 3801 unique phosphopeptides were identified by this means. By comparing the H2O2-regulated proteins in LCMT1-overexpressing and vector control cells, we found that these differences were mainly related to protein phosphorylation, gene expression, protein maturation, the cytoskeleton and cell division. Further investigation of LCMT1 overexpression-specific regulated proteins under H2O2 treatment supported the idea that LCMT1 overexpression induced ageneral dephosphorylation of proteins and indicated increased expression of non-erythrocytic hemoglobin, inactivation of MAPK3 and regulation of proteins related to Rho signal transduction, which were known to be linked to the regulation of the cytoskeleton. Discussion: These data provide proteomics and phosphoproteomics insights into the association of LCMT1-dependent PP2Ac methylation and oxidative stress and indirectly indicate that the methylation of PP2A plays an important role against oxidative stress. CD133 is a widely used cell surface marker of cancer stem cells that plays an important role in tumor initiation and metastasis. Increasing evidence shows that CD133 is secreted to the extracellular space. However, the underlying mechanisms of CD133 secretion remain largely unknown. In this study, we report that secreted CD133 has a complex‐type N‐glycosylation and is modified by beta1,6GlcNAc N‐glycan. We found that inhibition of CD133 complex‐type N‐glycosylation by swainsonine does not affect the membrane localization of CD133, but significantly reduces CD133 secretion and promotes its accumulation in early endosomes. Moreover, swainsonine reduces CD133 secretion by reducing its mono‐ubiquitination and inhibiting the interaction between CD133 and Tsg101. Abstract: Mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) is a Ser/Thr protein kinase that functions as an ATP and amino acid sensor to govern cell growth and proliferation by mediating mitogen‐ and nutrient‐dependent signal transduction. Protein phosphatase 2A (PP2A), a ubiquitously expressed serine/threonine phosphatase, negatively regulates mTOR signaling. Methylation of PP2A is catalyzed by leucine carboxyl methyltransferase‐1 (LCMT1) and reversed by protein phosphatase methylesterase 1 (PME‐1), which regulates PP2A activity and substrate specificity. However, whether PP2A methylation is related to mTOR signaling is still unknown. In this study, we examined the effect of PP2A methylation on mTOR signaling in HEK293 cells under oxidative stress. Our results show that oxidative stress induces PP2A demethylation and inhibits the mTORC1 signaling pathway. Next, we examined two strategies to block PP2A demethylation under oxidative stress. One strategy was to prevent PP2A demethylation using a PME‐1 inhibitor; the other strategy was to activate PP2A methylation via overexpression of LCMT1. The results show that both the PME‐1 inhibitor and LCMT1 overexpression prevent the mTORC1 signaling suppression induced by oxidative stress. Additionally, LCMT1 overexpression rescued cell viability and the mitochondrial membrane potential decrease in response to oxidative stress. These results demonstrate that H2O2 induces PP2A demethylation to downregulate mTORC1 signaling. Porphyrin-based imine gels assembled from small molecular precursors have been developed as a novel type of catalysts in hydrogen production from water splitting. The gels offer chemical variety and hierarchically porous structures and are susceptible to modification via porphyrin metal centres. The Pd gel shows cathodic electrocatalytic activity to produce H2 when coated on FTO electrodes. The gels are stable and active for visible-light driven hydrogen production in the presence of a sacrificial electron donor and a cocatalyst. Impregnation of the Pd metal centre greatly enhances the H2 evolution rate. The Pd gel enables efficient photocatalytic H2 evolution via photoinjection of electrons from the light-harvesting gel network into the Pt nanoparticles. When illuminated with visible light, the Pt-doped PdTAPP–TFPT gel produces hydrogen from aqueous sodium ascorbate solution without significant degradation during four runs (1.0744 × 105μmol g−1 for 120 h totally). The protein ARHGDIA has been found to play distinct roles in cancer progression for several tumors. However, it remains elusive whether and how ARHGDIA plays functions in human glioma. In this study, we discovered that ARHGDIA is much downregulated in human glioma; meanwhile, its expression negatively correlates with glioma malignancy and positively relates to prognosis of glioma patients. It has independent predictive value of ARHGDIA expression level for overall survival of human glioma patients. Glioma patients with ARHGDIA-positive expression have a longer overall survival time than ARHGDIA-negative patients. Knockdown of ARHGDIA promotes cell proliferation, cell cycle progression, and cell migration due to the activation of Rho GTPases (Rac1, Cdc42, and RhoA) and Akt phosphorylation, whereas overexpression of ARHGDIA suppresses cell growth, cell cycle progression, and cell migration. A series of (metallo)porphyrin imine gels have been synthesized based on imine chemistry. The resulting aerogels have sponge-like porous networked structures consisting of interconnected nanoparticles with hierarchical porosity. The aerogels have high specific surface areas (up to 719 m2 g−1) and large pore volumes (up to 2.60 cm3 g−1). The effect of metal ions on the uptake of gases in these aerogels was investigated. The impregnation of various metal ions (Pd(ii), Ni(ii), Mn(iii), Fe(iii) and Sn(iv)) enhances the uptake capacity of various gases (e.g., CO2) despite their higher densities. Among the metal ions, Pd(ii) is the best to increase the adsorption capacity and the isosteric heat of CO2 adsorption. The Pd-tapp–A4 aerogel exhibits CO2 volumetric uptake (1.62 mmol g−1, 7.13 wt% at 298 K, 1 bar) with a high isosteric heat of adsorption (40.0 kJ mol−1). The gels also show potential applications in catalysis because of their unique hierarchical porosity and the availability of metal centers. In combination with microfluidic technology, a catalytic gel capillary reactor has been assembled with the Pd-tapp–A4 gel supported on the inner surface of a functionalized capillary. The IQ-domain GTPase-activating protein 1 (IQGAP1) is a multifunctional scaffold protein, which interacts with diverse proteins to regulate cell adhesion and cell migration. The abnormal expression of IQGAP1 widely exists in many cancers, but biological roles of IQGAP1 cooperation with its interacting proteins to involve in tumorigenesis remain to clarify. In this study, we have found that IQGAP1 interacts with β-catenin and regulates β-catenin expression in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) cells. The expression levels of IQGAP1 and β-catenin and their associations have a positive correlation with cell metastasis ability in several HCC cell lines. The up-regulation of IQGAP1 and β-catenin improves cell proliferation and migration ability of HCC cells, whereas the knockdown of IQGAP1 by small interfering RNA can decrease β-catenin expression, which results in the reduction of cell proliferation and migration ability in vitro. In addition, a significantly higher expression of IQGAP1 and β-catenin also usually exists in human HCC tissues, especially their overexpression is clinicopathologically associated with tumor malignancy. This paper analyzes the relationship between runoff, soil erosion, sediment particles, and natural rainfall characteristics on sloping farmland in the red soil region of southern China. The surface runoff and soil loss data were measured on runoff plots during 66 natural rainfall events from 2015 to 2018 in Jiangxi Province. The results show that the maximum 30-min rainfall intensity (I30) is positively related to the runoff depth, soil erosion modulus, and sediment mean weight diameter (MWD). With the increase in I30 during rainfall, the coarse sand content increases, and the fine sand content decreases. The average annual runoff of slope tillage, hedgerows with slope tillage, straw mulching with conventional tillage, and contour tillage decreased by 32.56%, 65.87%, 83.99%, and 87.30%, respectively, compared with that of bare land. Soil and water conservation measures can significantly reduce slope runoff. The flow-reduction effect of contour tillage and straw mulching with conventional tillage increases as I30 increases, and the flow-reduction effect of hedgerows with slope tillage first increases and then decreases as I30 increases. The coefficients of variation and standard deviations of the flow-reduction effects of different soil and water conservation measures decrease with increasing I30. The average annual soil erosion moduli of slope tillage, hedgerows with slope tillage, contour tillage, and straw mulching with conventional tillage decreased by 59.33%, 91.29%, 97.17%, and 98.45%, respectively, compared with that of bare land. Soil and water conservation measures can significantly reduce the sediment yield on slopes. The flow-reduction effects of hedgerows with slope tillage, contour tillage, and straw mulching with conventional tillage all increase with I30, and their coefficients of variation and standard deviations decrease with I30. The average single rainfall erosion sediment MWD of decreased by 5.91%, 8.33%, 9.69%, and 13.32%, respectively, compared with that of bare land. Straw mulching with conventional tillage can significantly reduce the MWD of erosion sediment, effectively reduce the content of coarse sand, and increase the content of fine sand. Straw mulching with conventional tillage is a very good soil and water conservation measure for sloping farmland. Considering the fact that electric vehicle battery charging based on the current charging station is time-consuming, the charging technology needs to improve in order to increase charging speed, which could reduce range anxiety and benefit the user experience of electric vehicle (EV). For this reason, a 1 MW battery charging station is presented in this paper to eliminate the drawbacks of utilizing the normal 480 VAC as the system input to supply the 1 MW power, such as the low power density caused by the large volume of the 60 Hz transformer and the low efficiency caused by the high current. The proposed system utilizes the grid input of single-phase 8 kVAC and is capable of charging two electric vehicles with 500 kW each, at the same time. Therefore, this paper details how high-voltage SiC power modules are the key enabler technology, as well as the selection of a resonant-type input-series, output-parallel circuitry candidate to secure high power density and efficiency, while intelligently dealing with the transient processes, e.g., pre-charging process and power balancing among modules, and considering the impact on the grid, are both of importance.
