Objetive: Define the profile of the candidate and non-candidate osteoporosis patient for assistance in osteoporosis teleconsultation, in the post-COVID-19 era. Proposal of a management protocol for outpatient follow-up. Methods: We have carried out a bibliographic review through a systematic search in the Pubmed.gov databases of the available evidence of articles in English and Spanish with an inclusion date until October 2020, following the recommendations of the GRADE system (Grading of Recommendations, Assessment, Development and Evaluation). Database is aimed at locating and accessing relevant information for this review in an updated way. Results: The profile of the patient candidate for teleconsultation would be of those who present a history of osteoporosis, previously diagnosed, with treatment and requiring follow-up. COVID-19 has occurred in a context in which the main causes of mortality are chronic diseases and the need to protect against transmission. Conclusions:We propose a consensus for managing this patient, with differentiated sections for the different stages of the telematic care process. This will help in clinical decision-making and also in the process of follow-up and therapeutic adherence and, therefore, in optimal use of healthcare resources. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Novel packet I/O engines allow capturing traffic at multi-10Gb/s using only-software and commodity-hardware systems. This is achieved thanks to the application of techniques such as batch processing. Nevertheless, this feature involves degradation in the timestamp accuracy, which may be relevant for monitoring purposes. We propose two different approaches to mitigate such effect: a simple algorithm to distribute inter-batch time among the packets composing a batch, and a driver modification to poll NIC buffers avoiding batch processing. Experimental results, using both synthetic and real traffic, show that our proposals allow capturing accurately timestamped traffic for monitoring purposes at multi-10Gb/s rates. Screen printing technique has been used to manufacture a microsystem where the graphite-based electrodes hold both a functional and an architectural task. The thick film manufacturing technique has proved valid to develop a very low volume (ca.20 μL) device where different electrochemical operations can be very efficiently performed. Biomolecule immobilisation within the microsystem for biosensors applications has been explored by inducing and optimizing the in situgeneration of a potential pulse polypyrrole electropolymerised film entrapping either glucose oxidase or glucose dehydrogenase. This biomodified microsystem was applied to the ultrasensitive electrochemical detection of alkaline phosphatase yielding limits of detection below 10−12M for glucose oxidase and of 10−15M for glucose dehydrogenase modified systems, within 15 min of incubation time. The results obtained showed the advantages of using low volume microsystems in combination with an optimised polypyrrole–enzyme film, which displayed a good immobilisation efficiency in conjunction with a good diffusion of species through. Ultrasensitive detection of AP in combination with a stable and reproducible surface modification for entrapping of biomolecules opens the window for new electrochemical detection platform with great potential for integrated biosensor applications. Abstract  Ferroelectric thin films of strontium bismuth tantalate (SBT) have been fabricated by a chemical solution deposition technique using non-hydrolyzing precursors. Strontium acetate, bismuth nitrate and tantalum ethoxide were used as precursor materials, with methanol and glacial acetic as solvents. We investigate the effects of the precursor chemistry, by the selection of the chelating agent, on the elimination of residual organic compounds, thermal evolution of phase formation, and microstructure evolution of derived films. We found that the utilization of alkanolamines as chelating agent produce the segregation of metallic bismuth in as-prepared powders. On the other hand, acetoin, one of the hydroxyketones, showed the elimination of residual organics at low temperature, an earlier onset of crystallization, and no segregation of secondary phases during the whole crystallization process. A comparative investigation of the surface microstructure, grain size distribution, crystallinity, and degree of crystal orientation of films fabricated with the different chelating agents is presented. The luminescence properties of Tb3+-doped fluoride crystals under excitation with ionizing irradiation have been studied in order to assess the feasibility of using them as crystal detectors for in vivoradiotherapy dosimetry. In particular, it has been found that the radioluminescence intensity from both CsY2F7and CsGd2F7doped with 15?at% Tb3+is almost six times that from the commercial Al2O3?:?C detector. The spectral composition of emitted light has been analysed in order to determine the function of the Tb3+activator ion during ionizing radiation-induced luminescence.
