In social-enhanced recommendation systems such as Twitter and Weibo, users could get information from both personalized recommendation and social diffusion modules. In real-world scenarios, the user-group-user based social diffusion plays an essential role to efficiently broadcast information to groups of target users. Through this diffusion path, users first click items provided by the recommendation module, and then share the clicked items to the target user groups. Other users in the group can click the shared items, and return back to the recommendation module for more contents and related items. However, most social-enhanced recommendation systems merely focus on the recommendation module that they can directly influence, ignoring explicitly modeling and predicting for the social diffusion module. In this work, we propose a novel Group-based social diffusion (GSD) model, which aims to jointly optimize the click, share, and return stages in social-enhanced recommendation. We design a heterogeneous ternary graph neural network to jointly model the complex binary and ternary relations among users, items, and groups. We conduct extensive experiments and achieve significant improvements on all click, share, and return prediction tasks, and also achieve promising results on a new full-chain social impact prediction task. The N‐(4‐hydroxyphenyl) maleimide (4‐HPM) modified waterborne polyurethane emulsions (MWPU) were used as surface sizing agents to improve the interfacial adhesion between carbon fibers (CF) and epoxy resin matrix. Dynamic light scattering (DLS), transmission electron microscope (TEM), and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) showed the particle size distribution, storage stability, and thermal stability of the modified MWPU. And the surface reactivity of CF increased significantly after sizing. The interfacial shear strength (IFSS) and the interlaminar shear strength (ILSS) of CFREs were tested, and the fracture morphology was observed. The result showed that a continuous and uniform sizing layer is formed on the surface of CF. In particular, the comprehensive performance and interfacial modification effect of the MWPU emulsion outperformed other samples when the 4‐HPM content was 1.0 wt%. Compared with unsized carbon fibers, the IFSS and ILSS are up to 71.30% and 30.81% higher, respectively. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

To improve the interfacial bonding effect of carbon fibers (CFs) and epoxy resins, we prepared a fluorine‐containing high‐epoxy‐value sizing agent (named TS) in this article. It is an emulsion with a more uniform particle size distribution and higher stability better than a commercial Takemoto sizing agent. In addition, sulfonic acid groups can improve the hydrophilicity of the TS, and the presence of epoxy groups enhances the wettability between CFs and the matrix. The properties of the sizing agents were examined by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, dynamic light scattering, and thermogravimetric analysis. The sized CFs were evaluated by scanning electron microscopy, x‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy, monofilament tensile test, and dynamic contact angle. Afterward, CF/epoxy composites were prepared, and their fracture morphology and interlaminar shear strength (ILSS) were examined. Results indicated that the TS sizing significantly increased the content of activated carbon on the surface of the CFs and improved the bonding effect between the fiber and the matrix. After TS was sized, the ILSS increased from 49.64 to 58.74 MPa, 18.34% higher than unsized CF/epoxy composites, showing the prominent interfacial reinforcement better than commercial Takemoto. Polyimide composite films have been widely used in some advanced field of microelectronic devices, precision instruments and national defense applications. Graphene quantum dots have great application potential in polymer doping modification because of their good mechanical strength, high specific surface area and excellent tunability of physical and chemical properties. In this paper, Graphene quantum dots are prepared by pyrolysis at different temperatures. The results show that different reaction temperatures have a great influence on the size and size distribution of graphene quantum dots. When the pyrolysis temperature is 200 °C, the size of graphene quantum dots is uniform at 3–5 nm. Graphene quantum dots-polyimide nanocomposite films prepared by in-situ polymerization show excellent mechanical properties. When the doping amount of graphene quantum dots is 0.5 wt%, the tensile strength and elastic modulus of the composite films can reach 130.24 MPa and 2.93 GPa respectively, which are 41.3% and 108% higher than that of pure polyimide films, respectively. Moreover, the thermal stability of polyimide composite films increases with the increase of the doping amount of graphene quantum dots. This shows that graphene quantum dots have good dispersion in polyimide matrix and can effectively improve the interface of composites. These results provide a successful preparation method to help guide to fabricate graphene quantum dots-polyimide composite films with high performance for the advanced applications. Plant-associated microbes play important roles in plant health and disease. Mortierella is often found in the plant rhizosphere, and its possible functions are not well known, especially in medical plants. Mortierella alpina isolated from ginseng soil was used to investigate its effects on plant disease. The promoting properties and interactions with rhizospheric microorganisms were investigated in a medium. Further, a pot experiment was conducted to explore its effects on ginseng root rot disease. Physicochemical properties, high-throughput sequencing, network co-occurrence, distance-based redundancy analysis (db-RDA), and correlation analysis were used to evaluate their effects on the root rot pathogen. The results showed that Mortierella alpina YW25 had a high indoleacetic acid production capacity, and the maximum yield was 141.37 mg/L at 4 days. The growth of M. alpina YW25 was inhibited by some probiotics (Bacillus , Streptomyces , Brevibacterium , Trichoderma , etc.) and potential pathogens (Cladosporium , Aspergillus , etc.), but it did not show sensitivity to the soil-borne pathogen Fusarium oxysporum. Pot experiments showed that M. alpina could significantly alleviate the diseases caused by F. oxysporum , and increased the available nitrogen and phosphorus content in rhizosphere soil. In addition, it enhanced the activities of soil sucrase and acid phosphatase. High-throughput results showed that the inoculation of M. alpina with F. oxysporum changed the microbial community structure of ginseng, stimulated the plant to recruit more plant growth-promoting bacteria, and constructed a more stable microbial network of ginseng root. In this study, we found and proved the potential of M. alpina as a biocontrol agent against F. oxysporum , providing a new idea for controlling soil-borne diseases of ginseng by regulating rhizosphere microorganisms. In this article, an operation strategy of digital micromirror device (DMD) and the maximum intensity projection (MIP) image processing method are proposed to improve the contrast of images in confocal microscopy. First, the configuration of DMD is demonstrated and the effect of scanning unit size on image performance is analyzed. Then, the image processing method MIP is applied. According to the MIP method, only the maximum intensity projection point of the same pixel is chosen from every image, and the maximum intensity projection point exactly corresponds to the positon where mirror is at "on" position during the scanning process in DMD‐based confocal microscope system,. Thus, high contrast of images can be achieved by using MIP. Finally, experiments are conducted to verify imaging performance by changing the parameter of scanning unit size and applying a MIP image processing technique. The results show that DMD scanning unit size and MIP image processing techniques play important roles in improving image contrast. Smaller scanning unit size of DMD improves axial contrast but greatly decreases the signal to noise ratio, which thus leads to reduced image contrast. Larger scanning unit size produces a better signal to noise ratio, thus better image contrast. However, a large S will sacrifice the processing time. Therefore, DMD scanning unit size should be smaller on the premise that image contrast can be satisfied. Background: To prevent and control dementia, many scholars have focused on the transition stage between normal ageing and dementia, mild cognitive impairment (MCI) which is a key interventional target for dementia. Studies have shown that non-invasive brain stimulation (NIBS) is beneficial to improve cognitive function of MCI patients. However, whether NIBS is conducive to the protection of cognitive ability in MCI patients remains unknown due to limited evidence. The aim of the study was to systematically evaluate the modulation effect of NIBS on cognitive function (global cognitive ability and specific domains of cognition) in patients with MCI.Results: A total of 11 RCTs comprising a total of 367 MCI participants. Meta-analysis showed that NIBS can significantly improve global cognition (n = 271, SMD = 0.94, 95% CI 0.47-1.41, p < 0.0001) and verbal fluency (n = 72, MD = 2.03, 95% CI 0.17-3.88, p = 0.03). However, there was no significant improvement in other domains of cognition.Conclusions: NIBS has a positive effect on improving global cognitive function and verbal fluency. At the same time, it has a small positive effect on improving executive function. However, these findings should be interpreted carefully due to the limitations of the study. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The effect of different atomic substitutions at Mn sites on the magnetic and magnetocaloric properties in Ni50Mn35Co2Sn13 alloy has been studied in detail. The substitution of Ni or Co for Mn atoms might lower the Mn content at Sn sites, which would reduce the d-d hybridization between Ni 3d eg states and the 3d states of excess Mn atoms at Sn sites, thus leading to the decrease of martensitic transformation temperature TM in Ni51Mn34Co2Sn13 and Ni50Mn34Co3Sn13 alloys. On the other hand, the substitution of Sn for Mn atoms in Ni50Mn34Co2Sn14 would enhance the p-d covalent hybridization between the main group element (Sn) and the transition metal element (Mn or Ni) due to the increase of Sn content, thus also reducing the TM by stabilizing the parent phase. Due to the reduction of TM, a magnetostructural martensitic transition from FM austenite to weak-magnetic martensite is realized in Ni51Mn34Co2Sn13 and Ni50Mn34Co2Sn14, resulting in a large magnetocaloric effect around room temperature. For a low field change of 3 T, the maximum ∆SM reaches as high as 30.9 J/kg K for Ni50Mn34Co2Sn14. A linear dependence of ΔSM upon μ0H has been found in Ni50Mn34Co2Sn14, and the origin of this linear relationship has been discussed by numerical analysis of Maxwell's relation. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
