This research presents an advancement in fixed point theory by extending the renowned Banach contractive condition and introducing the new convex contractive condition. Central to this work is exploring and developing new convex contraction mappings characterized by rational expressions. Our investigation not only proves fixed point results for these contractions but also highlights their uniqueness compared to well-established contractions like Banach, Kannan, Chatterjea, Jaggi, and other known contraction mappings. A significant aspect of this research is the presentation of new rational-type convex contraction mappings, demonstrating their independence from traditional contractions. Through illustrative examples, we showcase the comprehensive generalization and inherent advantages of our novel results. Furthermore, the practical applications of our findings are discussed, particularly in the context of solving matrix and functional integral equations. This paper introduces the notion of k-fuzzy metric spaces, which generalizes and extends the concept of fuzzy metric spaces due to George and Veeramani in [A. George and P. Veeramani, On some results in fuzzy metric spaces, Fuzzy Sets and Systems 64 (1994), 395-399.] for the fuzzy sets involving more than one (k) parameters. It is shown that the topology generated by the k-fuzzy metric is first countable, and the k-fuzzy metric space is Hausdorff. Finally, we prove a fixed point theorem, which generalizes and extends the results of Grabiec [M. In mathematical psychology, themodel of decision practice represents the development ofmoral judgment that deals with the time to decide themeaning of the various choices and selecting one of themfor use. Most animal behavior research classifies such situations as two distinct phenomena. On the other hand, reward plays a big part in this kind of study since, based on the selected side and food location, such circumstances may be classified into four categories. This paper intends to investigate such types of behavior and establish a general functional equation for it. The proposed functional equation can be used to describe several psychological and learning theory models in the existing literature. By using the fixed point theory tools, we obtain the results related to the existence, uniqueness, and stability of a solution to the proposed functional equation. Recently Berinde and Păcurar [Approximating fixed points of enriched contractions in Banach spaces. J. Fixed Point Theory Appl. 22 (2020), no. 2., 1--10], first introduced the idea of enriched contraction mappings and proved the existence of a fixed point of an enriched contraction mapping using the well-known fact that any fixed point of the averagedmapping Tλ, where λ ∈ (0, 1], is also a fixed point of the initialmapping T. In this work, we introduce the idea of weak enriched contraction mappings, and a new generalization of an averaged mapping called double averaged mapping. The first attempt is to prove the existence and uniqueness of the fixed point of a double averaged mapping associated with a weak enriched contraction mapping. Based on this result on Banach spaces, we give some sufficient conditions for the equality of all fixed points of a double averaged mapping and the set of all fixed points of a weak enriched contraction mapping. Moreover, our results show that an appropriate Kirk's iterative algorithm can be used to approximate a fixed point of a weak enriched contraction mapping. Chemical graph theory (CGT) is a field of mathematical science that applies classical graph theory to chemical structures and processes. Chemical graphs are the principal data format used in cheminformatics to illustrate chemical interactions. Several researchers have addressed boundary-value problems using star graphs. Star graphs were used since their method requires a central point linked to other vertices but not to itself. Our objective is to expand the mechanism by introducing the idea of an isobutane graph that has the chemical formula C 4 H 10 and CAS number 75-28-5. By using the appropriate fixed point theory findings, this paper investigates the existence of solutions to fractional boundary value problems of Caputo type on such graphs. In this paper, we introduce the notion of fuzzy (F, φ,β-ψ)-contractive mappings in fuzzy metric spaces and utilize the same to prove some existence and uniqueness fuzzy φ-fixed point results in both M-complete and G-complete fuzzy metric spaces. A theory of chemical graphs is a part of mathematical chemistry concerned with the effects of connectedness in chemical graphs. Several researchers have studied the solutions of fractional differential equations using the concept of star graphs. They employed star graphs because their technique requires a central node with links to adjacent vertices but no edges between nodes. The purpose of this paper is to extend the method's range by introducing the concept of an octane graph, which is an essential organic compound having the formula C8H18. In this manner, we analyze a graph with vertices annotated by 0 or 1, which is influenced by the structure of the chemical substance octane, and formulate a fractional boundary value problem on each of the graph's edges. We use the Schaefer and Krasnoselskii fixed point theorems to investigate the existence of solutions to the presented boundary value problems in the framework of the Caputo fractional derivative. The aim of this work is to introduce the concept of an (F , γ) R -contraction which is a weak idea of an F-contraction in metric spaces endowed with a binary relation. The purpose of this paper is to introduce the numerical algorithm for approximation the solutions of nonlinear matrix equations with the relation-theoretic contractions. First, we introduce the new contraction namely (ψ, φ, R)-contraction and prove the fixed point theorem for relationtheoretic (ψ, φ, R)-contractions in a metric space endowed with a T-orbital transitivity. Nowadays, the usage of the existence and convergence results of a common fixed point for nonlinear semigroups of various kinds of self-mappings is applied to several problems in mathematics and another branches. Surprisingly, nobody considered the study on the nonlinear semigroups of weak contraction self-mappings in the sense of Berinde. The purpose of this paper is to attempt to complete this direction and so we investigate the existence of the common fixed point for nonlinear semigroups of weak contraction self-mappings in the sense of Berinde on a bounded closed convex subset of a real Banach space with uniformly normal structure. In this paper, we are dealing with a particular type of predator–prey model in which a predator has two choices of preys with probabilities x and 1 - x , respectively. Our aims are to analyze the behavior of predator animals in such situation and to construct a general functional equation for it, which covers all the aspects of such type of relationship. The purpose of this paper is to improve the notion of a Z-contraction mapping with respect to a b-simulation function and also prove fixed point results on b-metric spaces endowed with only a transitive relation. In this paper, the new modified Picard-FB iterative algorithm based on the idea of the iterative algorithm of Fukhar-ud-din and Berinde in [H. Fukhar-ud-dina, V. In (Fixed Point Theory Appl 94:6, 2012), the author introduced a new kind of contractions, called F- contractions, that extended the Banach contractions in a newfangled way. In this work, we introduce the notion of $$F_\mathfrak {R}$$ - contraction where $$\mathfrak {R}$$ is a binary relation on its domain that has not to be neither transitive nor a partial order. In this work we present a new type of stability results for generalized Cauchy functional equation of the form where $${a, b \in \mathbb{N}}$$ and $${f}$$ is a mapping from a commutative semigroup ( $${G_1, \ast}$$ ) to a commutative group ( $${G_2, \diamond}$$ ). Using this form we generalize, extend and complement some earlier classical results concerning the stability of additive Cauchy functional equations. In this paper, we introduce the concept of partial α-ψ contractive mappings along with generalized metric distance.
