The hierarchical design of zeolite materials from alkali-activated solid waste is a controversial topic. Deactivated ZSM-5 can serve as a potential foaming material for the preparation of porous zeolite precursors. This article evaluated the suitability of deactivated ZSM-5 for the preparation of porous zeolite material precursors. Curing temperature and water glass modulus were selected to regulate the properties of alkali-activated cementitious material. Two different moduli of water glass (1.4 M and 2.0 M) were applied to determine the effect of samples cured at three temperatures (25 ℃, 50 ℃ and 75 ℃). Characterization analyses such as XRD, FTIR, TG/DTA, SEM/EDS and MIP were performed to analyse the final products and pore structure of the precursors. A higher curing temperature and alkalinity have a substantial influence on the mechanical properties and yield a higher degree of polymerization of the reaction products. The main reaction product in the precursors was the N-A-S–H gel, whose degree of polymerization is strongly influenced by the Si/Al ratio. The purpose of this article is to design porous structures for zeolite precursors. A multisignal nanosecond synchronous acquisition system to measure acoustic emission (AE) and electromagnetic radiation (EMR) generated during the process of loading and failure of coal and rock samples is established. The correlation between the energy of the AE and EMR signals and the loading stress of outburst coal-rock samples was studied, and the characteristics of the AE and EMR signals during the process of loading and fracturing the outburst coal and rock samples were analyzed. The results show that (1) before the failure of the outburst coal and rock samples, the fluctuation of the AE and EMR signals is the largest, with the same rising and falling trend, and the intensity is not strictly positively correlated, with the phenomenon of low EMR when the AE intensity is high; (2) the EMR and AE deviation degree and frequency exhibit a good response to coal and rock fracturing. The correlation between EMR and stress drop is stronger than that of AE, and the AE signal is richer than the EMR signal. The results show that it is feasible to develop combined AE and EMR early warning technology to improve the early forecasting accuracy of coal and gas outbursts. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

To solve the high slurry pressure and severe wear at some sections in backfilling pipelines, this study investigates the solution of using an auxiliary pipe to increase the resistance and reduce the pressure of the mine backfilling pipeline. Using computational fluid dynamics, three auxiliary pipe models, a Z-shaped pipe, a S-shaped pipe and a spiral pipe were constructed and the velocity and pressure distribution characteristics of the filling slurry in the auxiliary pipes were analyzed. The function of friction loss in spiral pipes with different pitches and spiral diameters was established, and the amendment equation for calculating the effective stowing gradient was studied when using spiral pipes to increase resistance and reduce pressure. The results show that, compared with the Z-shaped pipe and the S-shaped pipe, the velocity and pressure in the spiral pipe change continuously and steadily, and there is no obvious sudden change in the local velocity and pressure. Therefore, it is difficult to burst the pipe. When the velocity is 2.5 m/s and the vertical height of the pipe is 2.5 m, the friction loss of the filling slurry in the spiral pipe can reach 3.87~21.26 times that in the vertical pipe, indicating that the spiral pipe can effectively play the role of increasing resistance and reducing pressure. The relationship between the friction loss and spiral diameter is a linear function, and the relationship between the friction loss and pitch is a quadratic function. The three are binary quadratic function relationships. Roadway deformation and rock burst are the two key challenges faced by the safe operation of coal mines. Aiming at the issue of large deformation of the gob-side roadway under coal pillars in multiseam mining, this study has considered the case of the 8308 panel of Xinzhouyao coal mine in China. Based upon a combination of theoretical analysis, numerical simulations, and engineering practices, the mechanical model of "stress and deformation quantitative calculation of gob-side roadway under overlying coal pillars" was established in this study. The analytical solutions of the vertical stress distribution and the plastic zone of the gob-side roadway under overlying coal pillars were obtained. Finally, the accuracy of the mechanical model was verified using numerical simulations. The results showed that the coal pillar, upright above the gob-side roadway, and the cantilever roof around the gob-side roadway were the main factors leading to stress concentration and deformation around the gob-side roadway. For the particular cases considered in this study, the peak stress of the gob-side roadway could reach 1.8 times of the self-weight stress of overlying strata. The rates of the contribution of the gob-side roadway's overlying pillar and the cantilever roof around the gob-side roadway to peak stress were 78.3% and 16%, respectively. The obtained results have an essential reference significance for stress calculations and rock burst prevention design of gob-side roadway under overlying coal pillars in multiseam mining. The objective of this study was to reveal the law of overburden movement and stress evolution during the mining of super-high fully mechanized mining faces. Based on the 12401 fully mechanized mining face of Shangwan Coal Mine in Shendong, this study conducted research and analysis using the methods of similarity simulation experiment, numerical simulation, and field measurement. The results showed that the maximum and minimum principal stresses in the coal seam in front of the working face are concentrated with the advance of the working face. The degree of stress concentration increases with the increase in the advancing range, and the concentration degree of the maximum principal stress and the change gradient is greater than that of the minimum principal stress. But the range of the peak lead coal wall is lower than that of the minimum principal stress of the peak lead coal wall. The phenomenon of stress recovery exists in the goaf. With the increase in the advancing range of the working face, the degree of stress recovery gradually increases, and the degree of maximum principal stress recovery is higher than that of the minimum principal stress recovery. The large fractures observed near the working face are closely related to the underground pressure, relatively large fractures appear on the surface, and the fractures become narrower near the two pathways. Only caving and fissure zones exist in the thin bedrock overburden, and the bending subsidence zone changes with the bedrock thickness. The support strength of the hydraulic support should not be less than 1.47 MPa. This research on the overburden movement and stress evolution law of a super-high fully mechanized mining face can provide theoretical guidance for the exploitation and utilization of extrathick coal seam resources. Tartary buckwheat is a kind of plant which can be used as medicine as well as edible. Abscisic acid (ABA) signaling plays an important role in the response of plants such as tartary buckwheat to drought and other stress. However, there are not many studies on tartary buckwheat by ABA treatment. In this study, the germination, root length, stoma, and anthocyanin accumulation of tartary buckwheat were all significantly affected by ABA. ABA signaling is important for plants to respond to drought and other stresses, the bZIP gene family is an important member of the ABA signaling pathway. Through the analysis of the origin relationship between tartary buckwheat bZIP family and its related species, 19 bZIP genes in tartary buckwheat were found to be relatively conserved, which laid a foundation for further study of bZIP family. The qRT-PCR results showed that most of the group members were induced by ABA treatment, including 0, 15, 30, 50, 70 µM ABA and 0, 0.5, 2, 4, 8, 16, 24 h ABA treatment. These results suggested that ABA could affect the growth and development of tartary buckwheat, and FtbZIPs might have different functions in the response of tartary buckwheat to drought. The absence of a key stratum during overburden rock movement is crucial to the mining pressure of fully mechanized coal mining faces. Using physical and numerical simulations, the 21304 mechanized mining in Daliuta and Huojitu coal mining faces 1−2 appeared twice during a pressure frame accident analysis. The results indicate that a lack of key overlying strata is crucial to the mining of lower coal seams, particularly for the upper sections of a single key stratum of coal. When the key stratum of the upper coal seam is absent, a stable masonry structure is formed after mining. It is easy to form stable stacked strata at the bottom of a coal seam. When developing gullies in deep terrains, the formation of the key stratum will be an upper rock fracture affected by the impact, resulting in a partial absence of the key stratum. When the key stratum is absent, the mining of upslope working faces and the probability of dynamic strata pressure increase with the overburden on the working face and mining of downslope faces. The face mine pressure development laws on the upper and lower coal seam mining were similar, mainly manifesting as "slope section >valley bottom section >back slope section." [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

A mechanical model of a hard roof was built to analyze the pressure relief roof cutting (RCPR) process for gob-side entry retaining (GER) and identify the critical stage of roadway stability control during RCPR. Based on the mechanical analysis of key parameters of automatic roadway with RCPR, the FLAC3D software was adopted to conduct a numerical simulation to investigate the influence law of height and angle of RCPR, to analyze the trend of variations in the vertical displacement of roadway surrounding rock stress and the roof under different conditions, and to verify that the optimal roof cutting height and seam cutting angle of the 12201 working face of Halagou Coal mine are 6 m and 20°, respectively. The effect of automatic roadway with RCPR has been well implemented through conducting the bidirectional cumulative blasting test on site. To impose effective roadway surrounding rock controlling measures on Halagou Coal mine in RCPR of hard, coal-bearing roof structures at a shallow mining depth, constant resistance large deformation anchor cables, in combination with a single hydraulic prop, joist steel 11#, and steel mesh reinforcement, could provide active surrounding rock support. In addition to the active support, surrounding rock control could be strengthened using grouting bolts. Based on the result, the stress in the roadway coal side and the vertical displacement of the roof can be reduced through increasing the roof cutting height, contributing to the stability of the roadway. Increasing of the roof cutting angle will lead to the increasing of stress in the coal side of the roadway and the increasing of roof displacement with a maximum angle of 20°. Meanwhile, the peak of stress concentrating on both sides of the extreme angle is decreased. Thus, increasing the cutting roof angle at random can be unfavorable to the management of roadway roof. To develop RCPR GER, roadway surrounding rock requires greater support when the mine face passes through a cutting slot. In order to improve the monitoring and prediction of coal and gas outburst, this paper proposes a new method for dynamic regional prediction of coal and gas outburst using microseismic (MS) monitoring. The theoretical basis of this method is presented. An index evaluation system was established and applied, based on which field tests were carried out in a coal mine. The results show that seismic monitoring with frequency and energy indexes can obtain good results for mining disturbance intensity monitoring and geological structure detection; the regional stress distribution detected by seismic wave tomography is consistent with the theoretical stress field, making its use of great significance for optimizing coal and gas outburst drilling parameters and improving overall tunneling efficiency. This approach overcomes the limitations of traditional methods in the temporal and spatial dimensions and realizes dynamic and continuous monitoring of coal and gas outburst-prone areas. Auxin signaling plays an important role in plant growth and development. It responds to various developmental and environmental events, such as embryogenesis, organogenesis, shoot elongation, tropical growth, lateral root formation, flower and fruit development, tissue and organ architecture, and vascular differentiation. However, there has been little research on the Auxin Response Factor (ARF) genes of tartary buckwheat (Fagopyrum tataricum), an important edible and medicinal crop. The recent publication of the whole-genome sequence of tartary buckwheat enables us to study the tissue and expression profile of the FtARF gene on a genome-wide basis. In this study, 20 ARF (FtARF) genes were identified and renamed according to the chromosomal distribution of the FtARF genes. The results showed that the FtARF genes belonged to the related sister pair, and the chromosomal map showed that the duplication of FtARFs was related to the duplication of the chromosome blocks. The duplication of some FtARF genes shows conserved intron/exon structure, which is different from other genes, suggesting that the function of these genes may be diverse. Real-time quantitative PCR analysis exhibited distinct expression patterns of FtARF genes in various tissues and in response to exogenous auxin during fruit development. In this study, 20 FtARF genes were identified, and the structure, evolution, and expression patterns of the proteins were studied. This systematic analysis laid a foundation for the further study of the functional characteristics of the ARF genes and for the improvement of tartary buckwheat crops. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
