Stiffened structures have great potential for improvingmechanical performance, and the study of their stability is of great interest. In this paper, the optimization of the critical buckling load factor for curved grid stiffeners is solved by using the level set based density method, where the shape and cross section (including thickness and width) of the stiffeners can be optimized simultaneously. The grid stiffeners are a combination ofmany single stiffenerswhich are projected by the corresponding level set functions. The thickness and width of each stiffener are designed to be independent variables in the projection applied to each level set function. Besides, the path of each single stiffener is described by the zero iso-contour of the level set function. All the single stiffeners are combined together by using the p-norm method to obtain the stiffener grid. Deltacoronavirus, widely distributed among pigs and wild birds, pose a significant risk of cross-species transmission, including potential human epidemics. Metagenomic analysis of bird samples from Qinghai Lake, China in 2021 reported the presence of Deltacoronavirus. A specific gene fragment of Deltacoronavirus was detected in fecal samples from wild birds at a positive rate of 5.94% (6/101). Next-generation sequencing (NGS) identified a novel Deltacoronavirus strain, which was closely related to isolates from the United Arab Emirates (2018), China (2022), and Poland (2023). Subsequently the strain was named A/black-headed gull/Qinghai/2021(BHG-QH-2021) upon confirmation of the Cytochrome b gene of black-headed gull in the sample. All available genome sequences of avian Deltacoronavirus, including the newly identified BHG-QH2021 and 5 representative strains of porcine Deltacoronavirus (PDCoV), were classified according to ICTV criteria. In contrast to Coronavirus HKU15, which infects both mammals and birds and shows the possibility of cross-species transmission from bird to mammal host, our analysis revealed that BHG-QH2021 is classified as Putative species 4. Putative species 4 has been reported to infect 5 species of birds but not mammals, suggesting that cross-species transmission of Putative species 4 is more prevalent among birds. Recombination analysis traced BHG-QH-2021 origin to dut148cor1 and MW01_1o strains, with MW01_1o contributing the S gene. Surprisingly, SwissModle prediction showed that the optimal template for receptor-binding domain (RBD) of BHG-QH-2021 is derived from the human coronavirus 229E, a member of the Alphacoronavirus, rather than the anticipated RBD structure of PDCoV of Deltacoronavirus. Further molecular docking analysis revealed that substituting the loop 1–2 segments of HCoV-229E significantly enhanced the binding capability of BHG-QH-2021 with human Aminopeptidase N (hAPN), surpassing its native receptor-binding domain (RBD). Most importantly, this finding was further confirmed by co-immunoprecipitation experiment that loop 1–2 segments of HCoV-229E enable BHG-QH-2021 RBD binding to hAPN, indicating that the loop 1–2 segment of the RBD in Putative species 4 is a probable key determinant for the virus ability to spill over into humans. Our results summarize the phylogenetic relationships among known Deltacoronavirus, reveal an independent putative avian Deltacoronavirus species with inter-continental and inter-species transmission potential, and underscore the importance of continuous surveillance of wildlife Deltacoronavirus. The potentially lethal zoonotic disease alveolar echinococcosis (AE) is caused by the metacestode larval stages of the tapeworm Echinococcus multilocularis. Metacestode growth and proliferation occurs within the inner organs of mammalian hosts, which is associated with complex molecular parasite-host interactions. The host has developed various ways to resist a parasitic infection, and the production of reactive oxygen species (ROS) is one of the most important strategies. Here, we found that scavenging of ROS reduced metacestode larval growth and germinative cell proliferation in in vivo models. Furthermore, using in vitro-cultured metacestode vesicles, we found that increased ROS levels enhanced metacestode growth and germinative cell proliferation, which was achieved by positively activating the ROS-EmERKEmHIF1α axis. These results indicate that, beside its capacity to damage the parasite, ROS also play critical roles in metacestode growth and germinative cell proliferation. This study suggests that the effects of ROS on parasite may be bidirectional during AE infection, reflecting the parasite's adaptation to the oxidative stress microenvironment. This study introduces newly discovered chrysin derivatives that show potential as candidate molecules for treating inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Compound 4b, among the synthesized compounds, displayed significant inhibitory effects on monocyte adhesion to colon epithelium induced by TNF-α, with an IC50 value of 4.71 μM. Furthermechanistic studies demonstrated that 4b inhibits the production of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and downregulates the expression of ICAM-1 and MCP-1, key molecules involved in monocyte-epithelial adhesion, as well as the transcriptional activity of NF-κB. In vivo experiments have shown that compound 4b exhibits a dose-dependent inhibition of 2, 4, 6-trinitrobenzenesulfonic acid (TNBS)- induced colitis in rats, thereby validating its effectiveness as a colitis inhibitor in animal models. As an effective tool for refining local gravity data with mGal accuracy, vehicle gravimetry system usually consists of Strapdown Inertial Navigation System (SINS) and Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS). However, the traditional system is unable to achieve gravimetry in an environment without GNSS signal dues to heavy dependence on GNSS signal. To solve this problem, this study proposed a gravimetry method specifically for the environment without GNSS signal, which consists of the high-precision Strapdown Inertial Navigation System (SINS) and Laser Doppler Velocimeter (LDV) developed by our unit. Based on the error analysis, the system index requirements were proposed, and the relevant indexes of the LDV are verified through simulation and vehicle experiment. The simulation results for different velocimeter accuracies show that the internal accord accuracy of the system is within 1mGal when the velocimeter accuracy is 1 ‰, and the internal accord accuracies of the system are more than 1mGal when the velocimeter accuracies are 5 ‰ and 10‰. The results of the vehicle experiment for different dimensional velocimeters show that when the spatial resolution is 1.7 km, the SINS/LDV (2D) and SINS/GNSS integrated systems have an internal accord accuracy of 0.68 mGal and 0.54 mGal, respectively, while the SINS/LDV (1D) integrated system has an internal accord accuracy of 1.50 mGal. Background: The gonadotropin hormone-releasing hormone agonists (GnRH-a) have been widely used for controlled ovarian stimulation in assisted reproductive technology (ART). The early-follicular long-acting GnRH-a long protocol (EFL) and the luteal phase short-acting GnRH-a long protocol (LPS) are commonly used GnRH agonist protocols. We conducted a retrospective analysis to assess and compare the rates of congenital abnormalities and safety profiles in offspring born from the EFL and LPS protocols. Methods: We conducted a retrospective cohort study to analyze and compare neonatal data from patients who using EFL or LPS protocols at our center between January 1, 2014, and June 30, 2017. The study ultimately included 1810 neonates from 1401 cycles using the EFL protocol and 2700 neonates from 2129 cycles using the LPS protocol.The main outcome measures are gestational age at delivery, birth weight, and congenital anomaly rate.To assess the influence of various factors on congenital abnormalities, a random-effects logistic regression model was employed. Results: The EFL and LPS protocols led to similar congenital anomaly rates (1.64% vs. 2.35%, P = 0.149). No significant differences were found between the two groups regarding birth weight and its categories, newborn gender and congenital anomaly rate. The results of the multivariate logistic regression model indicated no association between congenital anomaly and BMI, duration of infertility, treatment protocol, fertilization method, or embryo transfer stage. Compared with singleton pregnancies, the probability of congenital defects in multiple pregnancies was 2.64 times higher (OR: 2.64, 95% CI: 1.72–4.05, P < 0.0001). Newborns with congenital defects were born with a lower gestational age compared with full-term pregnancies. Conclusion: In conclusion, the EFL protocol is considered a safe option for ensuring offspring safety, comparable with the LPS protocol; however, multiple pregnancies represent an independent risk factor for congenital abnormalities. This approach can be widely adopted; however, prioritizing single embryo transfers is strongly recommended to minimize the potential risks associated with multiple pregnancies in offspring. Objective: The purpose of this study is to compare the clinical efficacy of oral dydrogesterone and micronized vaginal progesterone (MVP) gel during the first HRT-FET cycle. Methods: A retrospective cohort study based on a total of 344 women undergoing their first HRT-FET cycles without Gonadotropin-Releasing Hormone agonist (GnRH-a) pretreatment was conducted. All the cycles were allocated to two groups in the reproductive medical center at the University of Hong Kong-Shenzhen Hospital. One group (n = 193) received oral dydrogesterone 30 mg/d before embryo transfer, while the other group (n = 151) received MVP gel 180 mg/d. Results: The demographics and baseline characteristics of two groups were comparable. We found no statistically significant difference in live birth rate (24.35% vs. 31.13%, P = 0.16), clinical pregnancy rate (34.72% vs. 36.42%, P = 0.74), embryo implantation rate (25.09% vs. 28.36%, P = 0.43), positive pregnancy rate (42.49% vs 38.41%, P = 0.45), miscarriage rate (9.33% vs 3.97%, P = 0.05), or ectopic pregnancy rate (0.52% vs. 0.66%, P = 0.86) between the oral dydrogesterone group and MVP gel group. In the multivariate logistic regression analysis for covariates, medication used for luteal support was not associated with live birth rate (OR = 0.73, 95% CI: 0.32–1.57, P = 0.45). And the different luteal support medication did not have a significant positive association with the live birth rate in the cycles with day 2 embryo transferred (OR = 1.39, 95% CI:0.66–2.39, P = 0.39) and blastocyst transferred (OR = 1.31 95% CI:0.64–2.69, P = 0.46). In this paper, we design the first semiquantum private comparison (SQPC) protocol which is realized via cavity quantum electrodynamics (QED) by making use of the evolution law of atom. With the help of a semi-honest third party (TP), the proposed protocol can compare the equality of private inputs from two semiquantum parties who only have limited quantum capabilities. The proposed protocol uses product states as initial quantum resource and employs none of unitary operations, quantum entanglement swapping operation or delay lines. Ferroptosis, a lipid peroxidation-mediated programmed cell death, is closely linked to tumor development, including prostate cancer (PCa). Despite established connections between ferroptosis and PCa, a comprehensive investigation is essential for understanding its impact on patient prognosis. Methods: A risk model incorporating four ferroptosis-related genes was developed and validated. Elevated risk scores correlated with an increased likelihood of biochemical recurrence (BCR), diminished immune infiltration, and adverse clinicopathological characteristics. To corroborate these results, we performed validation analyses utilizing datasets from both the Cancer Genome Atlas Cohort (TCGA) and the Gene Expression Synthesis Cohort (GEO). Moreover, we conducted further investigations into the pivotal gene identified in our model to explore its impact on tumor characteristics through cell proliferation and invasion assays, as well as animal studies conducted in vivo. Additionally, we conducted further experiments involving ferroptosis-related analysis to validate its association with ferroptosis. Results: The risk model demonstrated exceptional predictive capabilities for prognosis and therapeutic outcomes in PCa patients. Mitogen-activated protein kinase 9 (MAPK9) emerged as a crucial gene within the model. In vivo and in vitro experiments explored MAPK9's role in ferroptosis and its influence on tumor migration and proliferation. Arsenic (As) accumulation in plants is a global concern. Although the application of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) has been suggested as a potential solution to decrease As concentration in plants, there is currently a gap in a comprehensive, quantitative assessment of the abiotic and biotic factors influencing As accumulation. A meta-analysis was performed to quantitatively investigate the findings of 76 publications on the impacts of AMF, plant properties, and soil on As accumulation in plants. Results showed a significant dose-dependent As reduction with higher mycorrhizal infection rates, leading to a 19.3% decrease in As concentration. AMF reduced As(V) by 19.4% but increased dimethylarsenic acid (DMA) by 50.8%. AMF significantly decreased grain As concentration by 34.1%. AMF also improved plant P concentration and dry biomass by 33.0% and 62.0%, respectively. The most significant reducing effects of As on AMF properties were seen in single inoculation and experiments with intermediate durations. Additionally, the benefits of AMF were significantly enhanced when soil texture, soil organic carbon (SOC), pH level, Olsen-P, and DTPA-As were sandy soil, 0.8%-1.5%, ≥7.5, ≥9.1 mg/kg, and 30-60 mg/kg, respectively. AMF increased easily extractable glomalin-related soil protein (EE-GRSP) and total glomalin-related soil protein (T-GRSP) by 23.0% and 28.0%, respectively. The effect of urban barriers may have a significant impact on the patterns of thunderstorm processes and lightning activity, but there is still a lack of comprehensive mechanical explanations. The observational analysis carried out in this study found that cloud-to-ground (CG) lighting activity tends to cluster around the outer boundaries of the mega cities, while, on the opposite, CG gathers within the small-sized city. When a squall line originating from a type of mesoscale convective system (MCS) known as '0713' passed through the built-up area, the barrier effect of the rough underlying surface contributed to the separation of the cold pool. This led to weakening of vertical airflow and breaking of the convergence line, ultimately triggering the bifurcation of the thunderstorm. Simulation results complement these observations. When buildings outside the 5 Ring Road (RR) are replaced with bare soil, the separation of the cold pool is minimized. Furthermore, the density of the buildings also influenced the strength of the barrier effect. Therefore, the specific urban morphologies were identified as a critical factor in modulating cloud-to-ground (CG) lightning activity and the organization process of thunderstorms. This study offers a fundamental foundation and technical support for predicting and assessing urban cloud-toground (CG) lightning risks. It holds significant implications for understanding excess urban warming, its prediction and assessment, and the resulting thermal risk, influenced by factors such as ventilation, sea breezes, and the geophysical environment in coastal cities. In this paper, by utilizing d-dimensional single-particle states, three semiquantum cryptography protocols, i.e., the multi-party semiquantum private comparison (MSQPC) protocol, the multi-party semiquantum multiplication (MSQM) protocol and the multi-party semiquantum summation (MSQS) protocol, can be achieved simultaneously under the assistance of two semi-honest quantum third parties (TPs). Here, the proposed MSQPC scheme is the only protocol which is devoted to judging the size relationship of secret integers from more than two semiquantum participants without a pre-shared key. And the proposed MSQM protocol absorbs the innovative concept of semiquantumness into quantum multiplication for the first time, which can calculate the modulo d multiplication of private inputs from more than two semiquantum users. As for the proposed MSQS protocol, it is the only semiquantum summation protocol which aims to accomplish the modulo d addition of more than three semiquantum users' private integers. Neither quantum entanglement swapping nor unitary operations are necessary in the three proposed protocols. The water (H2O) dissociation is critical for various H2O‐associated reactions, including water gas shift, hydrogen evolution reaction and hydrolysis corrosion. While the d‐band center concept offers a catalyst design guideline for H2O activation, it cannot be applied to intermetallic or main group elements‐based systems because Coulomb interaction was not considered. Herein, using hydrolysis corrosion of Mg as an example, we illustrate the critical role of the dipole of the intermetallic catalysts for H2O dissociation. The H2O dissociation kinetics can be enhanced using MgxMey (Me=Co, Ni, Cu, Si and Al) as catalysts, and the hydrogen generation rate of Mg2Ni‐loaded Mg reached 80 times as high as Ni‐loaded Mg. The adsorbed H2O molecules strongly couple with the Mg−Me dipole of MgxMey, lowering the H2O dissociation barrier. The dipole‐based H2O dissociation mechanism is applicable to non‐transition metal‐based systems, such as Mg2Si and Mg17Al12, offering a flexible catalyst design strategy for controllable H2O dissociation. Toxoplasmosis is a zoonosis caused by Toxoplasma gondii (T. gondii). The current treatment for toxoplasmosis remains constrained due to the absence of pharmaceutical interventions. Thus, the pursuit of more efficient targets is of great importance. Lipid metabolism in T. gondii, including fatty acid metabolism, phospholipid metabolism, and neutral lipid metabolism, assumes a crucial function in T. gondii because those pathways are largely involved in the formation of the membranous structure and cellular processes such as division, invasion, egress, replication, and apoptosis. The inhibitors of T. gondii's lipid metabolism can directly lead to the disturbance of various lipid component levels and serious destruction of membrane structure, ultimately leading to the death of the parasites. In this review, the specific lipid metabolism pathways, correlative enzymes, and inhibitors of lipid metabolism of T. gondii are elaborated in detail to generate novel ideas for the development of anti-T. gondii drugs that target the parasites' lipid metabolism. BACKGROUND Loneliness and isolation are associated with multiple cardiovascular diseases (CVDs), but there is a lack of research on whether they were causally linked. We conducted a Mendelian Randomization (MR) study to explore causal relationships between loneliness and isolation and multiple CVDs. METHODS Single nucleotide polymorphisms associated with loneliness and isolation were identified from a genome-wide association study (GWAS) of 455,364 individuals of European ancestry in the IEU GWAS database. Summary data for 15 CVDs were also obtained from the IEU GWAS database. We used three MR methods including inverse variance weighting, MR-Egger, and weighted median estimation to assess the causal effect of exposure on outcomes. Cochran's Q test and MR-Egger intercept test were used to evaluate the heterogeneity and pleiotropy. RESULTS MR analysis showed that loneliness and isolation were significantly associated with essential hypertension (OR = 1.07, 95% CI: 1.03-1.12), atherosclerotic heart disease (OR = 1.04; 95% CI: 1.02-1.06), myocardial infarction (OR = 1.02; 95% CI: 1-1.04) and angina (OR = 1.04; 95% CI =1.02-1.06). Background: Ischemic stroke (IS) is the main cause of death and adult disability. However, the pathogenesis of this complicated disease is unknown. The present study aimed to assess the relationship between ITLN1 single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) and the susceptibility to IS in Xi'an population, Shaanxi province. Methods: In this study, we designed polymerase chain reaction (PCR) primers located at -3,308 bp upstream of the transcription initiation site within promoter region of the ITLN1 gene. The target fragment was amplified by PCR and identified by agarose gel electrophoresis. Sanger sequencing was then performed in the samples extracted from a cohort comprising 1,272 participants (636 controls and 636 cases), and the obtained sequences were compared with the reference sequences available on the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website to detect SNPs in the ITLN1 gene promoter region. Logistic regression analysis was employed to assess the relationship between ITLN1 polymorphisms and IS risk, with adjustments for age and gender. Significant positive results were tested by false-positive report probability (FPRP) and false discovery rate (FDR). The interaction among noteworthy SNPs and their predictive relationship with IS risk were explored using the Multi-Factor Dimensionality Reduction (MDR) software. Results: The results of Sanger sequencing were compared with the reference sequences on the NCBI website, and we found 14 SNPs in ITLN1 gene promoter satisfied Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium (HWE). Logistic regression analysis showed that ITLN1 was associated with a decreased risk of IS (rs6427553: Homozygous C/C: adjusted OR: 0.69, 95% CI [0.48-0.97]; Log-additive: adjusted OR: 0.83, 95% CI [0.70-0.98]; rs7411035: Homozygous G/G: adjusted OR: 0.66, 95% CI [0.47-0.94]; Dominant G/T-G/G: adjusted OR: 0.78, 95% CI [0.62-0.98]; Log-additive: adjusted OR: 0.81, 95% CI [0.69-0.96]; rs4656958: Heterozygous G/A: adjusted OR: 0.74, 95% CI [0.59-0.94]; Homozygous A/A: adjusted OR: 0.51, 95% CI [0.31-0.84]; Dominant G/A-A/A: adjusted OR: 0.71, 95% CI [0.57-0.89]; Recessive A/A: adjusted OR: 0.59, 95% CI [0.36-0.96]; Log-additive: adjusted OR: 0.73, 95% CI [0.61-0.88]), especially in people aged less than 60 years and males. Background: Previous studies have explored the associations between circulating inflammatory cytokines and blinding eye diseases, including glaucoma, cataract and macular degeneration. However, the causality of these associations remains controversial. This study employs a bidirectional Mendelian randomization (MR) study to investigate the causal relationships between 41 circulating inflammatory cytokines and these blinding eye diseases. Methods: Summary data for glaucoma, cataract, macular degeneration and 41 circulating inflammatory cytokines were publicly available. The inverse variance weighted (IVW) method was employed as the main analysis method. Additionally, various sensitivity tests, including MR-Egger regression, weighted median, weight mode, Cochran's Q test, MR pleiotropy Residual Sum and Outlier test, and leave-one-out test, were conducted to evaluate sensitivity and stability of results. Results: The IVW analysis identified six circulating inflammatory cytokines causally associated with the risk of blinding eye diseases: Monokine induced by interferon-gamma (MIG) for glaucoma, interleukin-1 receptor antagonist (IL-1ra), IL-6, IL-10, and platelet derived growth factor BB (PDGFbb) for cataract, and MIG and hepatocyte growth factor (HGF) for macular degeneration. However, it is noteworthy that none of these associations remained significant after Bonferroni correction (p < 0.0004). Reverse MR analyses indicated that cataract may lead to a decrease in vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) levels (OR: 3.326 Ã--10-04, 95% CI: 5.198 Ã--10-07 - 2.129 Ã--10-01, p = 0.0151). Conclusion: This study highlights the potential roles of specific inflammatory cytokines in the development of glaucoma, cataract and macular degeneration. Moreover, it suggests that VEGF is likely to be involved in cataract development downstream. Spacecraft commonly dissipate heat into space through radiation. In the current development of spacecraft radiators, two major challenges are encountered: effective dissipation of heat in high-temperature environments and the heat waste by the thermal control system. Thermoacoustic heat pumps have emerged as a promising solution, capable of increasing the dissipating temperature of the radiators and reusing the waste heat. This paper presents a novel work-recovery thermoacoustic heat pump (WRTAHP) that incorporates a displacer, which serves the function of phase shifter and acoustic power recovery. One-dimensional numerical simulations are conducted to investigate the influence of the regenerator, thermal buffer tube, heat exchangers, and displacer on the system performance. The results reveal that WRTAHP can raise the temperature of waste heat sources from 50 °C up to 120 °C and obtain 511 W heating capacity with an overall relative Carnot efficiency of 56.4%. Furthermore, with the utilization of the heat pump, the surface area of the radiator is reduced to 60% of its original size. This work demonstrates the potential of WRTAHP for space applications. Shale gas is an important component of unconventional oil and gas resources. Studying the imbibition behavior is helpful to optimize flowback parameters and enhance gas recovery. Recent imbibition studies have focused on shale matrix, and the pressure conditions discussed were mostly atmospheric. The initial imbibition behavior begins from propped fractures to matrix, but there are few studies working on explaining the imbibition behavior in propped fractures or the phenomenon of many shale wells exhibit higher productivity after a "soaking" period. Therefore, propped fracture samples were designed for imbibition and migration experiments. In order to accurately study the mechanism and main influencing factors of fracturing fluid imbibition and migration in propped and unpropped shale fractures under high temperature and high pressure, a series of experiments based on nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) were carried out. Results showed that NMR T2 spectra of all samples exhibited a bimodal distribution. The final imbibition volume of fracturing fluid was positively related to pressure and fracture width. The imbibition effect of fracturing fluid was more evident in matrix pores under high pressure. In the migration during soaking stage, the fracturing fluid gradually migrated from large pores to small pores and gradually displaced the shale gas from the matrix, thus allowing the water blocking in propped fractures to self-unlock to some extent. Methods: Two-sample Mendelian randomization (MR) was used in this study. MR analysis based on gene-wide association study (GWAS) data on osteoarthritis (OA), dementia with Lewy bodies, and other MSDs and dementia types were obtained from the Genetics of Osteoarthritis consortium, IEU-open GWAS project, GWAS catalog, and FinnGen consortium. Rigorously selected single-nucleotide polymorphisms were regarded as instrumental variables for further MR analysis. Inverse-variance weighted, MR-Egger regression, weight median, simple mode, and weight mode methods were used to obtain the MR estimates. Cochran's Q test, MR-Egger and MR-Pleiotropy Residual Sum and Outlier analysis, and the leave-one-out test were applied for sensitivity testing. Results: The inverse-variance weighted method showed that hip OA was genetically associated with a lower risk of dementia, unspecified dementia, dementia in Alzheimer's disease, and vascular dementia. Kneehip OA was inversely associated with unspecified dementia and vascular dementia. Rheumatoid arthritis, juvenile idiopathic arthritis and seronegative rheumatoid arthritis were inversely associated with frontotemporal dementia, and rheumatoid arthritis was inversely associated with unspecified dementia. Simultaneously, ankylosing spondylitis was an independent risk factor for dementia, dementia with Lewy bodies, and dementia in Alzheimer's disease. Polarized holographic properties play an important role in the holographic data storage of traditional organic recording materials. In this study, reduced graphene oxide (RGO) was introduced into a phenanthraquinone-doped polymethylmethacrylate (PQ/PMMA) photopolymer to effectively improve the orthogonal polarization holographic properties of the material. Importantly, the lateral size of RGO nanosheets has an important influence on the polymerization of MMA monomers. To some extent, a larger RGO diameter is more conducive to promoting the polymerization of MMA monomers and can induce more PMMA polymers to be grafted on its surface, thus obtaining a higher PMMA molecular weight. However, too large of a RGO will lead to too much grafting of the PMMA chain to shorten the length of a single PMMA chain, which will lead to the degradation of PQ/PMMA holographic performance. Compared with the original PQ/PMMA, the diffraction efficiency of the RGO-doped PQ/PMMA photopolymer can reach more than 11.4% (more than 3.5 times higher than the original PQ/PMMA), and its photosensitivity is significantly improved by 4.6 times. This study successfully synthesized RGO-doped PQ/PMMA high-performance photopolymer functional materials for multi-dimensional holographic storage by introducing RGO nanoparticles. With the development of microfluidic technology, tumor-on-chip models have gradually become a new tool for the study of breast cancer because they can simulate more key factors of the tumor microenvironment compared with traditional models in vitro. Here, we review up-to-date advancements in breast tumor-on-chip models. We summarize and analyze the breast tumor microenvironment (TME), preclinical breast cancer models for TME simulation, fabrication methods of tumor-on-chip models, tumor-on-chip models for TME reconstruction, and applications of breast tumor-on-chip models and provide a perspective on breast tumor-on-chip models. This review will contribute to the construction and design of microenvironments for breast tumor-on-chip models, even the development of the pharmaceutical field, personalized/precision therapy, and clinical medicine. In this study, a three-dimensional (3-D) B-spline wavelet finite element method (WFEM) is proposed by combining the wavelet theory and 3-D finite element method (FEM). Owing to the semi-orthogonality and multi-resolution analysis of spline wavelet over the solution domain, a cuboid with uniform distribution nodes is established for the 3-D B-spline wavelet on the interval (BSWI) element. The governing equations of vibration for the elastic structures are derived by introducing the 3-D B-spline wavelet theory into the displacement components of each node. A procedure for assembling the BSWI elements is presented by redefining the index element node functions. Numerical studies including the vibration analysis of solid and hollow beams and plates under different boundary conditions are performed to show the performance of the present method. A comprehensive comparison of the predicted vibration characteristics obtained by the present method, traditional FEM, and reference data is presented to verify the accuracy and efficiency of the 3-D B-spline WFEM. The core of the present method is involving the 3-D B-spline wavelet to replace the polynomial interpolation functions in the traditional FEM, which enhances computational accuracy during the vibration analysis of the elastic structures. Two-dimensional (2D) semiconductors like molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) exhibit superior performance at nanometer-scale thickness compared to silicon. Notably, multilayers are more resistant to breakage during transfer and boast enhanced electrical properties over monolayers. In this study, we synthesized 4-in. multilayer MoS2 using a rapid thermal processing system through the ammonium tetrathiomolybdate precursor thermolysis. A 200 nm-scale space confinement on the sample surface was used to reduce sulfur loss during annealing and to facilitate vacancy healing by self-feeding sulfur atoms. Various characterizations confirmed good crystallinity, surface flatness, and continuity, including Raman spectroscopy, x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, scanning transmission electron microscopy, and atomic force microscopy. Moreover, these samples showed a significant enhancement in electron mobility. Wide application of novel materials often requires low-cost preparation methods. In this study, we present a simplified and facile preparation method for the [Ca24Al28O64]4+(e−)4 electride material (C12A7:e−). Successful preparation of the C12A7:e− electride was confirmed by XRD patterns and magnetic behavior analysis. The concentration of electrons in the prepared C12A7:e− powder was calculated to be approximately 2.23 × 1021 cm−3, as evaluated by iodometry and TPD. DFT calculations provided insight into the unique electronic structure of C12A7:e−. Additionally, the substitution of the Ca reductant with CaH2 led to a reduction in the solid-state reaction temperature from 1100 to 950 °C, which can be attributed to thermodynamic effects such as a reduction in ΔG°. TRK-fused gene (TFG, tropomyosin-receptor kinase fused gene) is known to negatively regulate the retinoic acid inducible gene (RIG)-I-like receptor (RLR)- mediated interferon (IFN)-I pathway in human cells, thereby participating in the paramyxovirus infection process. We showed that pigeon paramyxovirus type 1 (PPMV-1) infection significantly upregulates TFG expression in infected cells at an early stage. We speculated that PPMV-1 would inhibit IFN activation by upregulating a negative regulator of the IFN pathway. This hypothesis was proved when TFG protein expression was knocked down by RNAi and the replication level of PPMV-1 virus decreased, which indicated that TFG upregulation in the early infection stage benefit virus replication. We next used the IFN-β promoter reporter system to evaluate the role of the TFG in the IFN pathway. The results showed that the TFG inhibited the IFN-β expression stimulated by RIG-I, MAVS (mitochondrial antiviral signaling protein) and TANK-binding kinase 1 (TBK1), but did not inhibit IFN-β activated by the interferon regulatory transcription factor 3 (IRF3), indicating that TFG may affect the function of TBK1, which play an important role in phosphorylation of the IRF3. Further experiments showed that the TFG inhibited the phosphorylation of TBK1, resulting in IRF3 being unable to be phosphorylated. Subsequent experiments on IFN pathway activation confirmed that the IRF3 phosphorylation level was significantly downregulated after overexpression of TFG, while the IFN-β promoter reporting experiment showed that TFG did not directly inhibit the IFN response activated by IRF3. The tunability of reaction pathways is required for exploring efficient and low cost catalysts for ammonia synthesis. There is an obstacle by the limitations arising from scaling relation for this purpose. Here, we demonstrate that the alkali earth imides (AeNH) combined with transition metal (TM = Fe, Co and Ni) catalysts can overcome this difficulty by utilizing functionalities arising from concerted role of active defects on the support surface and loaded transition metals. These catalysts enable ammonia production through multiple reaction pathways. The reaction rate of Co/SrNH is as high as 1686.7 mmol·gCo−1·h−1 and the TOFs reaches above 500 h−1 at 400 °C and 0.9 MPa, outperforming other reported Co-based catalysts as well as the benchmark Cs-Ru/MgO catalyst and industrial wüstite-based Fe catalyst under the same reaction conditions. Experimental and theoretical results show that the synergistic effect of nitrogen affinity of 3d TMs and in-situ formed NH2− vacancy of alkali earth imides regulate the reaction pathways of the ammonia production, resulting in distinct catalytic performance different from 3d TMs. It was thus demonstrated that the appropriate combination of metal and support is essential for controlling the reaction pathway and realizing highly active and low cost catalysts for ammonia synthesis. Eighteen models based on two equations of state (EoS), three viscosity models, and four mixing rules were constructed to predict the viscosities of natural gases at high temperature and high pressure (HTHP) conditions. For pure substances, the parameters of free volume (FV) and entropy scaling (ES) models were found to scale with molecular weight, which indicates that the ordered behavior of parameters of Peng-Robinson (PR) and Perturbed-Chain Statistical Associating Fluid Theory (PC-SAFT) propagates to the behavior of parameters of viscosity model. Predicting the viscosities of natural gases showed that the FV and ES models respectively combined with MIX4 and MIX2 mixing rules produced the best accuracy. Moreover, the FV models were more accurate for predicting the viscosities of natural gases than ES models at HTHP conditions, while the ES models were superior to PRFT models. The average absolute relative deviations of the best accurate three models, i.e., PC-SAFT-FV-MIX4, tPR-FVMIX4, and PC-SAFT-ES-MIX2, were 5.66%, 6.27%, and 6.50%, respectively, which was available for industrial production. Compared with the existing industrial models (corresponding states theory and LBC), the proposed three models were more accurate for modeling the viscosity of natural gas, including gas condensate. Trace elements play a crucial role in the growth and bioactive substance content of medicinal plants, but their utilization efficiency in soil is often low. In this study, soil and Aconitum carmichaelii samples were collected and measured from 22 different locations, followed by an analysis of the relationship between trace elements and the yield and alkaloid content of the plants. The results indicated a significant positive correlation between zinc, trace elements in the soil, and the yield and alkaloid content of A. carmichaelii. Subsequent treatment of A. carmichaelii with both bulk zinc oxide (ZnO) and zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO NPs) demonstrated that the use of ZnO NPs significantly enhanced plant growth and monoester-type alkaloid content. To elucidate the underlying mechanisms responsible for these effects, metabolomic analysis was performed, resulting in the identification of 38 differentially expressed metabolites in eight metabolic pathways between the two treatments. Additionally, significant differences were observed in the rhizosphere bacterial communities, with Bacteroidota and Actinobacteriota identified as valuable biomarkers for ZnO NP treatment. Co-variation analysis further revealed significant correlations between specific microbial communities and metabolite expression levels. Background: Preimplantation genetic testing for aneuploidy (PGT-A) was demonstrated to be superior to conventional IVF in reducing the incidence of miscarriage and abnormal offspring after the first embryo transfer (ET). PGT-A requires several embryo trophectoderm cells, but its negative impacts on embryo development and long-term influence on the health conditions of conceived children have always been a concern. As an alternative, noninvasive PGT-A (niPGT-A) approaches using spent blastocyst culture medium (SBCM) achieved comparable accuracy with PGT-A in several pilot studies. The main objective of this study is to determine whether noninvasive embryo viability testing (niEVT) results in better clinical outcomes than conventional IVF after the first embryo transfer. Furthermore, we further investigated whether niEVT results in higher the live birth rate between women with advanced maternal age (AMA, > 35 years old) and young women or among patients for whom different fertilization protocols are adopted. Methods: This study will be a double-blind, multicenter, randomized controlled trial (RCT) studying patients of different ages (20–43 years) undergoing different fertilization protocols (in vitro fertilization [IVF] or intracytoplasmic sperm injection [ICSI]). We will enroll 1140 patients at eight reproductive medical centers over 24 months. Eligible patients should have at least two good-quality blastocysts (better than grade 4 CB). The primary outcome will be the live birth rate of the first embryo transfer (ET). Secondary outcomes will include the clinical pregnancy rate, ongoing pregnancy rate, miscarriage rate, cumulative live birth rate, ectopic pregnancy rate, and time to pregnancy. Discussion: In this study, patients who undergo noninvasive embryo viability testing (niEVT) will be compared to women treated by conventional IVF. We will determine the effects on the pregnancy rate, miscarriage rate, and live birth rate and adverse events. We will also investigate whether there is any difference in clinical outcomes among patients with different ages and fertilization protocols (IVF/ICSI). Long non-coding RNAs (LncRNAs) play essential roles in multiple physiological processes including bone formation. Investigators have revealed that LncRNAs regulated bone formation through various signaling pathways and micro RNAs (miRNAs). However, several problems exist in current research studies on osteogenic LncRNAs, including sophisticated techniques, high cost for in vivo experiment, as well as low homology of LncRNAs between animal model and human, which hindered translational medicine research. Moreover, compared with gene editing, LncRNAs would only lead to inhibition of target genes rather than completely knocking them out. As the studies on osteogenic LncRNA gradually proceed, some of these problems have turned osteogenic LncRNA research studies into slump. This review described some new techniques and innovative ideas to address these problems.
