Land use change stands as the primary factor influencing habitat quality (HQ). Clarifying the spatiotemporal change and the obstacle factors of the coupling relationship between HQ and urbanization level (UL) can provide imperative references for achieving sustainability in the Yellow River Basin (YRB). This study is based on the InVEST model, spatial autocorrelation, and obstacle factor analysis to measure the spatiotemporal dynamics and impediments of the coupling relationship between HQ and UL from 2000 to 2020 in the YRB. The findings were as follows: (1) From 2000 to 2020, the HQ showed a tendency of rise first and then fall, with the pattern of "High in the middle and west, low in the east"; (2) from 2000 to 2020, the UL had an upward trend, with the pattern of "Low in the west, high in the middle and east"; (3) the coupling and coordination level of HQ and UL in the YRB changed from extreme incoordination to verge of coordination, and it had a distribution pattern of "High in the east, low in the west", with the high-value area expanding to the east and the low-value area shrinking to the west. (4) Location condition, climate, proportion of construction land, vegetation index, and proportion of non-agricultural employment are the main obstacle factors that determined the coupling and coordination of the HQ and UL. The Yellow River basin (YRB) holds immense ecological significance in China, but it is currently undergoing profound transformations in its ecosystem services (ESs). To formulate appropriate environmental policies, it is vital to gain a comprehensive understanding of the characteristics and influential factors driving the ESs' transformation in the YRB. The spatiotemporal dynamics in ESs was evaluated using the InVEST model, and the modes of the ESs' transformation were summarized. The elements impacting ESs' transformation and their interactions were assessed using the optimal parameter-based geographical detector (OPGD). Over the period from 1980 to 2020, the water yield within the YRB exhibited an upward trajectory, with a distinctive spatial pattern characterized by higher values in the southern and eastern regions, in contrast to lower values observed in the northern and western regions. Similarly, soil conservation demonstrated a tendency to rise over the duration of the research, with southern and western regions consistently exhibiting higher values compared to the northern and eastern regions. In contrast, habitat quality decreased over time and was accompanied by a progressive spatial decline from the southeast regions to the northwest regions. The ESs' transformation in the YRB from 1980 to 2020 indicated three modes: (1) simultaneous increases, this mode was characterized by concurrent increases in water yield and soil conservation; (2) increase and decrease, in this mode, there was an increase in soil conservation accompanied by a decrease in habitat quality; and (3) increase and deterioration, the third mode entailed an increase in water yield but a simultaneous deterioration in habitat quality. The 45-km grid was the best spatial scale for the analysis in this study. Over the span of 2000 through 2020, the ESs' transformation in the YRB was subject to the influence of natural environmental, geographic location-related, socioeconomic, and policy factors. The determinants of the spatiotemporal heterogeneity in ESs' transformation in the YRB demonstrated double-factor and nonlinear enhancement effects. The counterchange with the most significant effects on ESs' transformation were those between economic density and annual mean precipitation, annual mean temperature and ecological restoration, and the per capita income of urban residents and vegetation index. As a representative technique in electronics, the Smith Chart provides a fast, less‐computation, and graphical approach to solve the problems related to impedance matching. In this paper, we transplanted the Smith Chart into the design and analysis of a microwave metamaterial absorber (meta‐absorber) to develop an analytical and graphical approach for impedance matching of electromagnetic wave absorption. Before the structural design, four traces on the Smith Chart plane from the load to arrive at the impedance matching point (the center of the Smith Chart) can be graphically found to obtain perfect absorption. Then, we have designed four impedance matching circuit networks made of resistance, inductance, and capacitive elements and transmission lines to fit the four traces. Then, the matching circuits are mapped into the meta‐absorber structure by using three types of proposed layers. The full simulation method based on the finite element method is used to verify the proposed concept. Furthermore, an external dielectric loading strategy has been developed to achieve good angular stability up to 60° for the radar cross section reduction under transverse electric and transverse mangetic polarization incidence. Recently, fractional q-difference equations on infinite intervals have attracted much attention due to their potential applications in many fields. In this paper, we investigate a class of nonlinear high-order fractional q-difference equations with integral boundary conditions on infinite intervals, where the nonlinearity contains Riemann–Liouville fractional q-derivatives of different orders of unknown function. By means of Schaefer fixed point theorem, Leray–Schauder nonlinear alternative and Banach contraction mapping principle, we acquire the existence and uniqueness results of solutions. Objective: Myxosporidiosis of bagrid fishes has been a focus of aquaculture research in recent years. The purpose of this study is to characterize a novel myxobolid, named Myxobolus xiushanensis n. sp., infecting Yellowhead Catfish Tachysurus fulvidraco in China. Methods: We used molecular biology, morphology, phylogeny, and histopathology in the present study. Result: Mature myxospores were circular to ellipsoidal in valve view, measuring 12.2 ± 0.4 μm (mean ± SD; range = 11.2–13.2 μm) in length and 10.6 ± 0.4 μm (9.5–11.1 μm) in width. Two oval polar capsules were equal in width (3.4 ± 0.2 μm; 3.0–3.8 μm) but slightly unequal in length: 5.6 ± 0.3 μm (5.3–6.1 μm) and 4.7 ± 0.2 μm (4.4–5.5 μm). The polar capsule was packed with five to seven spirals of polar tubules. Histopathological investigation demonstrated that the plasmodium under the cuticular layer of the gill arch only induced a local inflammatory response and did not cause serious damage to the gill arch's internal structure. The two small subunit (SSU) ribosomal DNA sequences of M. xiushanensis n. sp. showed 100% similarity and uniqueness, and the highest similarity with other myxosporean sequences in GenBank was 90.27% (query coverage = 94%). The secondary structures of the SSU ribosomal RNA revealed that the present species was distinctly different from related species in regions V4 and V7. Phylogenetic analysis showed that M. xiushanensis n. sp. clustered independently within a branch. Conclusion: These results enrich our understanding of the biodiversity of myxobolids infecting bagrid fishes and provide fundamental data for the diagnosis of myxosporidiosis. Land use conflict, as the spatial manifestation of conflicting human-land relationship, has a profound impact on sustainable use of regional land resources. Taking the Yellow River Basin (YRB) as an example, a land use conflict assessment model was constructed based on landscape pattern indices. The dynamic patterns and driving factors of land use conflict in the YRB and the corresponding driving factors were then assessed from 2000 to 2020 based on spatial autocorrelation analysis and the geodetector method. Significant spatial and temporal differences in land use conflict were observed in the YRB from 2000 to 2020. During this period, the area of stable controllable decreased by 3465 km2, whereas the areas of strong and extreme conflict increased by 34,964 and 13,057 km2, respectively. The expansion of areas with extreme and strong conflict mostly occurred in regions with high urbanization and human activity, including northern Shaanxi, Hetao Plain, and the Yellow River Delta. The distribution of land use conflict in the YRB from 2000 to 2020 was characterized by significant spatial agglomeration; high-value cluster conflict mainly extended from the midstream area to the upstream area, whereas low-value clusters tended to be concentrated in the upstream area of the Qinghai and Qilian Mountains. The spatial and temporal differentiation in land use conflict from 2000 to 2020 was influenced by factors related to the natural environment, geographic location, social economy, and regional policy in the YRB. The effects of elevation, distance to the nearest major river, population, economic density, and per capita disposable income of residents increased continuously during the study period, whereas the influences of mean annual precipitation and ecological retreat weakened. Analysis of the interactions between driving factors showed significant dual-factor and non-liner enhancement effects on the spatial and temporal differentiation in land use conflict. The foundation for accurately understanding regional land-use structures and pursuing the coordination of human–land relations is the scientific identification and simulation of temporal and spatial evolution patterns of land-use spatial conflict (LUSC). Based on the production–living–ecological space (PLES) perspective, a land-use spatial conflict identification and intensity diagnosis model (LUCSII) was constructed using a landscape ecology index. The methods of geographic information system (GIS), spatial autocorrelation analysis, and mathematical statistics were used to achieve the spatial pattern of LUSC over the last 20 years, and the GMOP–Markov–PLUS model was used to simulate the evolution of LUSC in the future under various scenarios. The results indicated that our established LUCSII could accurately identify potential land-use spatial conflict areas in geoparks. The GMOP–Markov–PLUS model constructed had also scientifically predicted the future land-use patterns under different scenarios, successfully demonstrating the changing process of spatial conflict pattern evolution. The research proposed three different plans for the long-term land use of YG, including ecological protection, economic development, and long-term development perspectives. Finally, the research further emphasized the importance for sustainable development of geoparks. There are close dynamic relationships among the livelihood, well-being, and ecological environment of farmer households. It is of great significance to scientifically clarify the impact of the Grain for Green policy on the livelihoods and well-being of farmer households in mountainous areas. Based on data from a survey of 392 farmer households in Zhangbei County, the system of indicators for livelihood assets and well-being of farmer households were constructed using the sustainable livelihood framework (SLF). The livelihood assets and well-being levels of different types of farmer households were measured, and a multiple linear regression model was used to analyze the impact of the Grain for Green policy implementation on the well-being levels of farmer households. The results showed that (1) the Grain for Green project caused changes in the livelihood of farmer households. The average livelihood diversity of farmer households was 3.008, and the returned farmland households (3.022) were higher than the nonreturned farmland households (2.975) in Zhangbei County. The level of natural assets among the total average livelihood assets of farmer households was the highest at 0.374, while the level of physical assets was the lowest at 0.018. The level of livelihood assets of returned farmland households (0.948) was lower than that of nonreturned farmland households (1.117). (2) The Grain for Green policy had an improving effect on the level of well-being of farmer households, but the effect was not significant. The level of well-being of all farmer households in Zhangbei County was 0.517, with the level of wealth contributing the most to the well-being of farmer households at 40.20% and the quality of the ecological environment contributing the least at 11.99%. The level of well-being of returned farmland households (0.518) was slightly higher than that of nonreturned farmland households (0.514). (3) The influencing degree of each factor on the level of well-being varied significantly. There are three main paths through which the Grain for Green policy affects the well-being of farmer households: by reallocating human assets, optimizing natural assets, and enhancing financial assets. The factor of household size had the highest degree, at 0.366, while educational attainment of household members, household labor capacity, annual household expenditure, livelihood diversity, number of large production tools, and total value of livestock were also important drivers of household well-being, and area of arable land was negatively associated with household well-being. To maximize the benefits of microgrid clusters, a general model and analysis method for studying the optimized operation of AC/DC microgrid clusters using non-cooperative games is proposed. This paper first establishes the optimized objective function of an AC/DC microgrid for economic operations. Based on the supply and demand theory, the dynamic adjustment mechanism of electricity price is introduced into microgrid clusters, and a game model for the optimal operation of multiple microgrids is established. The Nash equilibrium solution of the established model is obtained by iterative search algorithm, and the convergence of the Nash equilibrium solution is also proven. Growing evidence indicates that lncRNA colon cancer-associated transcript 2 (CCAT2) is associated with cancers. However, the clinical value of CCAT2 in cervical cancer (CC) remains unclear. In this study, serum CCAT2 level was detected by real-time quantitative PCR (RT-qPCR). Carbohydrate antigen 125 (CA125) and squamous-cell carcinoma antigen (SCC) were detected by electrochemiluminescence. A receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was utilized to estimate the diagnostic efficiency of CCAT2. Kaplan-Meier survival analysis and univariable and multivariable analyses were performed to assess the prognostic value of CCAT2. The relative expression level of CCAT2 in primary CC patients was significantly higher than that in cervical intraepithelial neoplasias (CIN) patients and healthy controls (both P < 0.001). CCAT2 relative expression was positively correlated with tumor Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO) stage, SCC-Ag and lymph node metastasis (LNM) (all P < 0.05). CCAT2 expression in recurrent/metastatic CC was significantly higher compared with primary CC (P < 0.0001) or operated CC (P < 0.0001) and during follow-up, CCAT2 expression was increased before surgery and decreased significantly after surgery (P < 0.0001). Furthermore, the overall survival rate of CC patients with high CCAT2 expression group markedly decreased as compared with that of low CCAT2 expression group (P = 0.026). Univariate analyses indicated that CCAT2 was a poor prognostic factor associated with overall survival (OS). Our study indicates that CCAT2 may be valuable in complementary diagnosis and monitoring of progression and prognosis of CC patients. Background: Lung cancer is one of the dominant causes of cancer-related deaths worldwide. Ferroptosis, an iron-dependent form of programmed cell death, plays a key role in cancer immunotherapy. However, the role of immunity- and ferroptosis-related gene signatures in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) remain unclear.Methods: RNA-seq data and clinical information pertaining to NSCLC were collected from The Cancer Genome Atlas dataset. Univariate and multivariate Cox regression analyses were performed to identify ferroptosis-related genes. A receiver operating characteristic (ROC) model was established for sensitivity and specificity evaluation. Gene ontology enrichment and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes pathway analyses were performed to explore the function roles of differentially expressed genes.Results: A signature composed of five ferroptosis-related genes was established to stratify patients into high- and low-risk subgroups. In comparison with patients in the low-risk group, those in the high-risk one showed significantly poor overall survival in the training and validation cohorts (P < 0.05). Multivariate Cox regression analysis indicated risk score to be an independent predictor of overall survival (P < 0.01). Further, the 1-, 2-, and 3-year ROCs were 0.623 vs. 0.792 vs. 0.635, 0.644 vs. 0.792 vs. 0.634, and 0.631 vs. 0.641 vs. 0.666 in one training and two validation cohorts, respectively. Functional analysis revealed that immune-related pathways were enriched and associated with abnormal activation of immune cells.Conclusions: We identified five immunity- and ferroptosis-related genes that may be involved in NSCLC progression and prognosis. Hepatic cancer is often amenable to surgery, including percutaneous ablation, trans-arterial chemoembolization. However, in metastatic cases, surgery is often not an effective option. Chemotherapy as a conventional clinical method for treatment of malignant diseases may be useful in such cases, but it is likewise not always able to slow or halt progression, therefore novel approaches for treatment of hepatic cancer are needed. Current research suggests that molecular tumor markers (TM) can play a crucial role for diagnosis and prognostic evaluation of malignancies, and TM such as AFP, CEA, CA19-9 have been reported in many malignant diseases. Thioredoxin reductase (TrxR), a type of anti-oxidant biomarker, has become a TM of significant interest. However, little is known about the above TM and TrxR activity in liver cancer. Therefore, this paper aimed to assess these TM with regards to diagnosis and and monitoring treatment efficacy in both primary and metastatic liver cancer. Our results showed TrxR had superior performance for discriminating between liver cancer patients and healthy controls than AFP, CEA, and CA19-9. TrxR also exhibited superior performance for assessing benefits of chemotherapy regardless if patients had PLC or MLC. Meanwhile, due to diagnostic efficiency of unresponsive chemotherapy patients, TrxR also showed a higher activity levels than other general markers in liver metastasis patients. Our results suggest that application of TrxR in combination with other tumor markers may maximize the efficiency of diagnosis and assessment of therapeutic efficiency, and provide new insights for the clinical application of TrxR as a candidate biomarker for liver cancer. A novel conductive composite consisting of polyimine vitrimer matrix and multiwalled carbon nanotube (MWCNT) filler that allows bending, stretching, rehealing, and closed-loop recycling was developed. Such composites can be easily prepared by simply heating a mixed solution of the polyimine precursors and less than 10 wt % of MWCNTs. The resulting composites combine both advantages of the polyimine vitrimer (i.e., dynamic covalent bond exchange) and carbon nanotubes (i.e., electron conducting), and the as-fabricated thin films exhibit malleability, rehealability, recyclability and good electron conductivity. Impressively, the electrical conductivity of the composite could remain almost the same after bending, reshaping, rehealing, and reuse, thus making it an excellent candidate for flexible electronics. Moreover, such composites can also be fully recycled at the end of their service life, which would greatly reduce the electronic waste, manufacturing cost, and environmental impact. This paper presents an experiment of fiber laser wet cutting of 316L cardiovascular stents and investigates the relationship between process parameters(pulse width, laser power, frequency, cutting speed) and surface integrity indexes (surface topography, surface roughness, heat-affected zone (HAZ), recast layer, dross, subsurface nano-hardness). Furthermore, single-factor analysis method was performed to find optimal single-factor parameters. The experimental results demonstrate that surface integrity indexes as the function of process parameters and the optimum single-factor parameters could be obtained. In addition, the nano-hardness reflected the variation and nature of the HAZ and recast layer. This study is of great significance to obtain the minimum post-processing of cardiovascular stents. Sirtuin 5 (SIRT5) is a member of the NAD+-dependent sirtuin family of protein deacylase that catalyzes removal of post-translational modifications, such as succinylation, malonylation, and glutarylation on lysine residues. In light of the SIRT5's roles in regulating mitochondrion function, we show here that SIRT5 deficiency leads to suppression of mitochondrial NADH oxidation and inhibition of ATP synthase activity. As a result, SIRT5 deficiency decreases mitochondrial ATP production, increases AMP/ATP ratio, and subsequently activates AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK) in cultured cells and mouse hearts under energy stress conditions. Moreover, Sirt5 knockout attenuates transverse aortic constriction (TAC)-induced cardiac hypertrophy and cardiac dysfunction in mice, which is associated with decreased ATP level, increased AMP/ATP ratio and enhanced AMPK activation. Background: Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) play important roles in human cancers. However, the functional roles of lncRNAs in non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and the underlying mechanisms are not well understood. Methods: We examined the expression of lncRNA DANCR in NSCLC by qRT-PCR and explored its biological roles in NSCLC progression by cell and molecular biology studies. Results: DANCR expression level was increased in human NSCLC. The knockdown of DANCR inhibited NSCLC cell proliferation by inducing cell apoptosis and cell cycle arrest. In addition, DANCR knockdown suppressed NSCLC cell migration and invasion via inhibition of epithelial–mesenchymal transition (EMT). On the contrary, DANCR overexpression had the opposite effects. DANCR knockdown inhibited EZH-2-mediated epigenetic silencing of p21 promoter and increased p21 expression. Moreover, DANCR knockdown inhibited NSCLC cell proliferation, migration, and invasion in a p21-dependent manner. The natural convection heat transfer from a horizontal cylinder with a uniform wall temperature in an infinite space was experimentally investigated. Infinite fringe interferograms of the cylinder heated from 295.15 to 355.15 K were recorded using the holographic interferometry technique. The temperature field around the cylinder was reconstructed based on phase difference recovery using a MATLAB code. The distributions of the local and average Nusselt numbers over the cylinder were then obtained. A correlation of the average Nusselt number was proposed for a Rayleigh number range of 2.7–6.0 × 104. The experimental results are in good agreement with previous correlations, with a deviation of ±10%. Carbon dioxide (CO2) is one of the major gases that contribute to the global warming. Therefore, studying the distribution of CO2 can help people understand the carbon cycle. Based on the GOSAT retrieved CO2 products, the temporal and spatial distribution and seasonal variation of CO2 concentration were analyzed from 2011 to 2015. CO2 concentration has obvious seasonal variation. It was low in summer, and was high in spring, and the annual increase was about 2 ppm. Nevertheless, the annual growth rate of CO2 concentration in summer was higher than that in spring, it was 0.5425% in summer and was 0.46% in spring. CO2 concentration was low in the northwest and was high in the southeast. The growth rate of CO2 was 2.8 ppm in the northwest and was 3.42 ppm in the southeast. An adhesion-related protein of Lactobacillus acidophilus strain CICC 6074 involved in binding to Caco-2 cells and inhibiting Enteropathogenic Escherichia coli (EPEC) was isolated and characterized. The S-layer protein was extracted with 5M LiCl and the active fraction purified by gel filtration (G-75). The S-layer protein was visualized by SDS-PAGE and characterized by estimating the relative molecular weight using mass spectra. The inhibitory effect of L. acidophilus and its S-layer proteins on the ability of EPEC to adhere to cells was explored by using a Caco-2 cell model. The results suggest that the S-layer proteins of L. acidophilus are adhesive in nature and are involved in the competitive exclusion of EPEC from Caco-2 cells. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

CoFeO (CFO)/BaTiO (BTO) magnetoelectric (ME) ceramic composites were prepared by spark plasma sintering (SPS) with mechanically mixed powders. The unwanted phases, atomic interdiffusion and microcracks emerged in the conventional sintering process were prevented in the SPS process. The CFO/BTO ceramics showed great densities measured by the Archimedes method. In this paper, the ferromagnetic, ferroelectric, and ME properties of the ceramic composites were well studied. The strongly optimized ME voltage coefficient up to as high as 180 mV/cm Oe was obtained in the spark plasma sintered CFO/BTO ceramics. The theoretical ME voltage coefficients of the ceramics were also calculated by the finite-element method. The reasons for the improvement of the ME voltage coefficient and the lower experimental ME value comparing to the calculations were both discussed in this paper. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

An all-normal dispersion photonic crystal fiber with nearly zero flattened dispersion at 1550 nm is designed for generating high coherent broadband supercontinuum. It is found that an all normal dispersion photonic crystal fiber with nearly zero flattened dispersion at 1550 nm can be obtained by appropriately designing geometrical parameters and optimizing the index of the first ring of air-holes with filling different index liquid of the photonic crystal fiber. The results show that the optimized design photonic crystal fiber for pumping at 1550 nm is suitable for flat broadband and high coherent supercontinuum generation with only 4 kW input peak power in a 40 cm long of the photonic crystal fiber. It is also found the weaker the dispersion effect is, the more advantage to the high coherent broadband supercontinuum generation due to the self-phase modulation. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Aims: Anemia and vitamin D deficiency (VDD) are both very important health issues, recent accumulating evidence shows that VDD is prevalent in individuals with anemia. This meta-analysis aimed to detect a relationship between VDD and anemia.Methods: We identified eligible studies by searching the Pub Med, Embase and Cochrane Library before October 2014. Quality assessments were performed with the Newcastle–Ottawa Scale. Heterogeneity was evaluated by Cochran’sQtest and source of heterogeneity was detected by subgroup analysis and sensitivity analysis.Results: A total of seven studies involving 5183 participants were included in the meta-analysis. VDD was associated with an increased incidence of anemia (OR = 2.25, 95% CI = 1.47–3.44), with significant evidence of heterogeneity among these studies (pfor heterogeneity <0.001,I2 = 84.0%). With the increasing depletion of fossil fuels and growing environmental pressure, the mankind has got known the need to vigorously develop the renewable energy and the energy-saving technology. The high Tc superconducting (HTS) power technology will be very helpful to enhance the stability, reliability, and efficiency and transmission capacity of the power grid which would be dominated by the renewable energy. In this paper, we will report the installation and operation of a 10 kV HTS power substation which includes a 75 m/1.5 kA HTS power cable, a 10 kV/1.5 kA HTS fault current limiter, a 1 MJ/0.5 MVA high Tc SMES and a 630 kVA/10 kV/0.4 kV HTS power transformer. Mitochondria manganese superoxide dismutase (SOD2) is an important antioxidant enzyme, deficiency of which is associated with various human diseases. The known primary regulation of SOD2 is through transcriptional activation. Here, we report that SOD2 is acetylated at Lys 68 and that this acetylation decreases SOD2 activity. Mitochondrial deacetylase SIRT3 binds to, deacetylates and activates SOD2. Increase of reactive oxygen species (ROS) levels stimulates SIRT3 transcription, leading to SOD2 deacetylation and activation. SOD2-mediated ROS reduction is synergistically increased by SIRT3 co-expression, but is cancelled by SIRT3 depletion. These results reveal a new post-translational regulation of SOD2 by means of acetylation and SIRT3-dependent deacetylation in response to oxidative stress. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
