Electrolytic water splitting using renewable energy sources, such as solar power, provides a green and sustainable approach for hydrogen production. Anion exchange membrane (AEM) electrolyzers present substantial commercial prospects; however, the rate of hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) in alkaline electrolytes is limited by the water dissociation step. In this work, we fabricated an N-doped Ni substrate for loading ultrafine Pt nanoparticles, realizing spatial decoupling of the reaction process to break the limitation of water dissociation, where the N-doped Ni substrate and Pt nanoparticles facilitate the supply of ample H* and H2 release, respectively. The prepared Pt–N–Ni/NC with extremely low Pt loading (1.0 wt%) requires only 15 and 149 mV overpotentials to reach current densities of 10 and 1000 mA cm−2, respectively. When assembled into an AEM electrolyzer, the system requires a cell voltage of only 1.75 V to achieve a current density of 1000 mA cm−2. Notably, the solar-driven AEM electrolyzer demonstrates a current density of 1390 mA cm−2 with a solar-to-hydrogen efficiency (STH) of 8.27%. The association between built environment and physical activity has been recognized. However, how and to what extent microscale streetscapes are related to running activity remains underexplored, partly due to the lack of running data in large urban areas. Moreover, few studies have examined the interactive effects of macroscale built environment and microscale streetscapes. This study examines the main and interactive effects of the two-level environments on running intensity, using 9.73 million fitness tracker data from Keep in Shanghai, China. Results of spatial error model showed that: 1) the explanatory power of microscale streetscapes was higher than that of macroscale built environment with R2 of 0.245 and 0.240, respectively, which is different from the prior finding that R2 is greater for macroscale built environment than for microscale streetscape; 2) sky and green view indexes were positively associated with running intensity, whereas visual crowdedness had a negative effect; 3) there were negative interactions of land use Herfindahl–Hirschman index with sky and green view indexes, while a positive interaction was observed for visual crowdedness. To conclude, greener, more open and less visually crowded streetscapes, can promote running behavior and enhance the benefits of land use mix as well. Tuberculosis in kidney transplant (KT) recipients is a common opportunistic infection with higher incidence and prevalence than in the general population. Tuberculosis infection after kidney transplantation included latent tuberculosis infection, inactive tuberculosis infection and active tuberculosis infection. The following factors should be considered in the diagnosis of tuberculosis infection in KT recipients: atypical clinical presentation, association with co-infections, decreased predictive values of screening tests, diverse imaging findings and particular diagnostic methods. The middle reaches of the Lancang‐Mekong River Basin (M‐LMRB) experienced a record‐breaking drought event in 2019, resulting in significant economic losses of approximately 650 million dollars and affecting a population of 17 million. However, the anomalous circulation and transportation processes of water vapor, which may have played a crucial role in inducing the extreme drought, have not been fully studied. In this study, we analyze the water vapor circulation during the 2019 drought event using the land‐atmosphere water balance and a backward trajectory model for moisture tracking. Our results indicate that the precipitation in the M‐LMRB from May to October 2019 was only 71.9% of the long‐term climatological mean (1959–2021). The low precipitation during this drought event can be attributed to less‐than‐normal external water vapor supply. Specifically, the backward trajectory model reveals a decrease in the amount of water vapor transported from the Indian Ocean, the Bay of Bengal, and the Pacific Ocean, which are the main moisture sources for precipitation in the region. Comparing the atmospheric circulation patterns in 2019 with the climatology, we identify anomalous anticyclone conditions in the Bay of Bengal, anomalous westerlies in the Northeast Indian Ocean, and an anomalous cyclone in the Western Pacific Ocean, collectively facilitating a stronger export of water vapor from the region. Therefore, the dynamic processes played a more significant role than thermodynamic processes in contributing to the 2019 extreme drought event. Neoporphyra haitanensis, a red alga harvested for food, thrives in the intertidal zone amid dynamic and harsh environments. High irradiance represents a major stressor in this habitat, posing a threat to the alga's photosynthetic apparatus. Interestingly, N. haitanensis has adapted to excessive light despite the absence of a crucial xanthophyll cycle‐dependent photoprotection pathway. Thus, it is valuable to investigate the mechanisms by which N. haitanensis copes with excessive light and to understand the photoprotective roles of carotenoids. Under high light intensities and prolonged irradiation time, N. haitanensis displayed reduction in photosynthetic efficiency and phycobiliproteins levels, as well as different responses in carotenoids. The decreased carotene contents suggested their involvement in the synthesis of xanthophylls, as evidenced by the up‐regulation of lycopene‐β‐cyclase (lcyb) and zeaxanthin epoxidase (zep) genes. Downstream xanthophylls such as lutein, zeaxanthin, and antheraxanthin increased proportionally to light stress, potentially participating in scavenging reactive oxygen species (ROS). When accompanied by the enhanced activity of ascorbate peroxidase (APX), these factors resulted in a reduction in ROS production. The responses of intermediates α‐cryptoxanthin and β‐cryptoxanthin were felt somewhere between carotenes and zeaxanthin/lutein. Furthermore, these changes were ameliorated when the organism was placed in darkness. In summary, down‐regulation of the organism's photosynthetic capacity, coupled with heightened xanthophylls and APX activity, activates photoinhibition quenching (qI) and antioxidant activity, helping N. haitanensis to protect the organism from the damaging effects of excessive light exposure. Background: It remains unknown whether good neighbourhood perception can enhance the benefits of favourable built environment to physical activity. Moreover, the moderation pattern is less understood in developing countries. Objectives: This work aims to examine the moderation effects of perceived neighbourhood safety and aesthetics on the relationship between built environment and time for recreational walking. Methods: We performed the examination using a sample of 760 residents in Fuzhou City, China. The Negative Binomial Regression Model was developed to examine the moderation roles of neighbourhood safety and aesthetics on the impact of built environment, adjusting for the effects of location, socioeconomic, personal preferences and social environment factors. Moreover, two sensitivity analyses were performed to test whether the moderators found are robust to the control of residential self-selection, and differential measures of conceptually-comparable aspects of built environment. Results: We found stronger associations of time for recreational walking with road density and proportion of parks and squares POIs for residents with high perception of neighbourhood safety, compared to those with low perception of neighbourhood safety. There was a greater effect of the proportion of parks and squares POIs, when perceived aesthetics was high than when perceived aesthetics was low. The findings of neighbourhood safety and aesthetics as moderator, were robust in the two sensitivity analyses. No significant moderation effect was found for land use diversity. Conclusions: High perceived neighbourhood safety can magnify the positive effects of road connectivity and accessibility to parks and squares. Neighbourhood aesthetics positively moderates the association of time for recreational walking with accessibility to parks and squares. The findings emphasize the need to consider safety- and aesthetics-specific differences in estimates of built environment effects. Numerous studies have suggested that the perceived built environment is shaped by the objective built environment and influences human physical activity. However, the empirical examination of this pathway remains scant. Addressing this gap, our study investigates whether the built environment affects leisure-time physical activity through its impact on the perceived built environment, utilizing data collected from 760 residents in Fuzhou, China. Structural Equation Modeling results reveal a modest correlation between objective and perceived built environment elements, with the objective built environment being a stronger predictor of leisure-time physical activity. Notably, perceived recreational facilities significantly mediate the relationship between objective recreational facilities and leisure-time physical activity, accounting for 15% of the variance in physical activity due to objective recreational facilities. This mediation effect is consistent across subpopulations, irrespective of residential self-selection biases. These results highlight the imperative for urban planning and policy to extend beyond mere spatial allocation of amenities to enhancing both the actual and perceived accessibility of these facilities, thus underlining the study's profound implications for public health and urban development strategies. Circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) active materials have attracted widespread attention because of their potential applications. Nonetheless, it is still a great challenge to fabricate CPL materials with both high fluorescence quantum efficiency (Φ) and high luminescent asymmetry factor (glum). According to the unique structure characteristics of chiral layered metal–organic frameworks (CLMOFs), herein a novel strategy to construct high‐performance CPL materials, by utilizing the confinement effect of CLMOFs is developed. Conjugate dye molecules, such as fluorescent brighteners, fluorescein, and rhodamine B, which are readily subjected to aggregation‐caused quenching (ACQ) effect, are successfully intercalated into CLMOF matrix, affording blue, yellow–green, and red CPL, respectively. Both high Φ and glum values of up to 91% and 0.069 are obtained, owing to the distinct confinement effect of CLMOFs. After confining dye molecules within CLMOF, the ACQ effect is effectively inhibited, which is beneficial for fluorescence enhancement; simultaneously, the chirality transfer from CLMOF matrix to dyes by controlling their arrangement in the chiral confinement microenvironment, leading to the high glum values. Based on the full‐color and strong CPL, a multi‐dimensional code system is proposed. Globalization and informatization have exerted far-reaching impacts on the spatial connection and development of urban systems. This study, concerning the network of an urban system based on the space of flows, supplements the insufficiency on the micro-level in macro-urban network research. Taking Nanjing as an example, this study explores the characteristics of the network of the urban system from the perspective of people flow, refining the granularity of the analysis to the township- and street-level spatial units using mobile phone data. The findings are as follows: (1) There is a multicenter layered network pattern, with the main urban area being the core of the network, while Dongshan Street and Moling Street, as secondary centers, form a joint development pattern with the main urban area. (2) The spatial differentiation is significant. The spatial heterogeneity of "centralization in the central region, delayering in the north, and hierarchization in the south" is obvious. The net people inflow nodes are mainly concentrated in the main urban area and its surroundings, while the net outflow nodes are mostly located on the edge of the city. Moreover, the nodes to the south of Yangtze River are advantageous in urban resource control. (3) The phenomenon of "double shadow circle" appears in the ring of the main city and the ring of the municipal area. Moreover, the northern district experiences a serious outflow of population. (4) The effect of policy intervention is beginning to show. Overexposure to ultraviolet light (UV) has become a major dermatological problem since the intensity of ultraviolet radiation is increasing. As an adaption to outside environments, amphibians gained an excellent peptide‐based defense system in their naked skin from secular evolution. Here, we first determined the adaptation and resistance of the dark‐spotted frogs (Pelophylax nigromaculatus) to constant ultraviolet B (UVB) exposure. Subsequently, peptidomics of frog skin identified a series of novel peptides in response to UVB. These UV‐induced frog skin peptides (UIFSPs) conferred significant protection against UVB‐induced death and senescence in skin cells. Moreover, the protective effects of UIFSPs were boosted by coupling with the transcription trans‐activating (TAT) protein transduction domain. In vivo, TAT‐conjugated UIFSPs mitigated skin photodamage and accelerated wound healing. Transcriptomic profiling revealed that multiple pathways were modulated by TAT‐conjugated UIFSPs, including small GTPase/Ras signaling and MAPK signaling. Importantly, pharmacological activation of MAPK kinases counteracted UIFSP‐induced decrease in cell death after UVB exposure. Taken together, our findings provide evidence for the potential preventive and therapeutic significance of UIFSPs in UV‐induced skin damage by antagonizing MAPK signaling pathways. The extensive application of nuclear technology has increased the potential of uncontrolled radiation exposure to the public. Since skin is the largest organ, radiation‐induced skin injury remains a serious medical concern. Organisms evolutionally develop distinct strategies to protect against environment insults and the related research may bring novel insights into therapeutics development. Here, 26 increased peptides are identified in skin tissues of frogs (Pelophylax nigromaculatus) exposed to electron beams, among which four promoted the wound healing of irradiated skin in rats. Specifically, radiation‐induced frog skin peptide‐2 (RIFSP‐2), from histone proteolysis exerted membrane permeability property, maintained cellular homeostasis, and reduced pyroptosis of irradiated cells with decreased TBK1 phosphorylation. Subsequently, stearyl‐CoA desaturase 1 (SCD1) is identified, a critical enzyme in biogenesis of monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFAs) as a direct target of RIFSP‐2 based on streptavidin‐biotin system. The lipidomic analysis further assured the restrain of MUFAs biogenesis by RIFSP‐2 following radiation. Moreover, the decreased MUFA limited radiation‐induced and STING‐mediated inflammation response. In addition, genetic depletion or pharmacological inhibition of STING counteracted the decreased pyroptosis by RIFSP‐2 and retarded tissue repair process. Altogether, RIFSP‐2 restrains radiation‐induced activation of SCD1‐MUFA‐STING axis. Thus, the stress‐induced amphibian peptides can be a bountiful source of novel radiation mitigators. In the electrocatalytic CO2 reduction reaction (CO2RR), metal catalysts with an oxidation state generally demonstrate more favorable catalytic activity and selectivity than their corresponding metallic counterparts. However, the persistence of oxidative metal sites under reductive potentials is challenging since the transition to metallic states inevitably leads to catalytic degradation. Herein, a thorough review of research on oxidation-state stabilization in the CO2RR is presented, starting from fundamental concepts and highlighting the importance of oxidation state stabilization while revealing the relevance of dynamic oxidation states in product distribution. Subsequently, the functional mechanisms of various oxidation-state protection strategies are explained in detail, and in situ detection techniques are discussed. Finally, the prevailing and prospective challenges associated with oxidation-state protection research are discussed, identifying innovative opportunities for mechanistic insights, technology upgrades, and industrial platforms to enable the commercialization of the CO2RR. The delivery of insulin to diabetic patients remains a challenge due to the limitations of current insulin delivery paradigms, including painful cannula insertion, potential infections, interference with activity, embarrassment, and sometimes cost. To address this problem, we designed and fabricated nine prototypes of stereolithographic 3D-printed microneedle arrays (MNAs) appropriate for the minimally invasive delivery of insulin. We characterized their transdermal penetration performance by delivering fluid at a constant rate to porcine skin through these MNAs. Moreover, we characterized the force required for these MNAs to puncture porcine skin using a mechanical testing apparatus. We developed an improved method of mechanical testing for the MNAs against porcine skin by incorporating an imitation soft tissue layer under the skin and compared the MNA results with those using a single microneedle and a hypodermic needle. In addition, we investigated the mechanical flexural strength of the MNAs by performing a flexural failure load test on them. We confirmed that the prototype MNAs are mechanically robust and do not fracture during skin penetration, setting the stage for future trials in vitro and in vivo. For a class of fractional-order singular multi-agent systems (FOSMASs) with local Lipschitz nonlinearity, this paper proposes a closed-loop D α -type iterative learning formation control law via input sharing to achieve the stable formation of FOSMASs in a finite time. Firstly, the formation control issue of FOSMASs with local Lipschitz nonlinearity under the fixed communication topology (FCT) is transformed into the consensus tracking control scenario. Secondly, by virtue of utilizing the characteristics of fractional calculus and the generalized Gronwall inequality, sufficient conditions for the convergence of formation error are given. Then, drawing upon the FCT, the iteration-varying switching communication topology is considered and examined. Global warming has intensified the intensity of compound drought‐hot extremes (CDHEs), posing more severe impacts on human societies and ecosystems than individual extremes. The vulnerability of global terrestrial ecosystems under CDHEs, along with its key influencing factors, remains poorly understood. Based on multiple remote sensing data, we construct a Vine Copula model to appraise vegetation vulnerability under CDHEs, and attribute it to climatic and biotic factors for five different vegetation types. High vulnerability is detected in central and southern regions of North America, eastern and southern regions of South America, Southern Africa, northern and western Europe, and northern and eastern Australia. The drier the climate, the higher will be the vulnerability. Furthermore, biodiversity and biomass are key biotic factors influencing the vulnerability of various vegetation types, such that ecosystems with richer biodiversity and higher biomass have lower vulnerability to CDHEs. The findings deepen understanding of terrestrial ecosystem response to CDHEs. The quality of chrysanthemum tea has a great connection with its variety. Different types of chrysanthemum tea have very different efficacies and functions. Moreover, the discrimination of chrysanthemum tea varieties is a significant issue in the tea industry. Therefore, to correctly and non-destructively categorize chrysanthemum tea samples, this study attempted to design a novel feature extraction method based on the fuzzy set theory and improved direct linear discriminant analysis (IDLDA), called fuzzy IDLDA (FIDLDA), for extracting the discriminant features from the near-infrared (NIR) spectral data of chrysanthemum tea. To start with, a portable NIR spectrometer was used to collect NIR data for five varieties of chrysanthemum tea, totaling 400 samples. Secondly, the raw NIR spectra were processed by four different pretreatment methods to reduce noise and redundant data. Thirdly, NIR data dimensionality reduction was performed by principal component analysis (PCA). Fourthly, feature extraction from the NIR spectra was performed by linear discriminant analysis (LDA), IDLDA, and FIDLDA. Finally, the K-nearest neighbor (KNN) algorithm was applied to evaluate the classification accuracy of the discrimination system. The experimental results show that the discrimination accuracies of LDA, IDLDA, and FIDLDA could reach 87.2%, 94.4%, and 99.2%, respectively. Therefore, the combination of near-infrared spectroscopy and FIDLDA has great application potential and prospects in the field of nondestructive discrimination of chrysanthemum tea varieties. Comprehensive Summary: Rare earth (RE) ions, with abundant 4f energy level and unique electronic arrangement, are considered as substitutes for Pb2+ in perovskite nanocrystals (PNCs), allowing for partial or complete replacement of lead and minimizing environmental impact. This review provides a comprehensive overview of the characteristics of RE‐doped PNCs, including up‐conversion luminescence, down‐conversion luminescence, and quantum confinement effects, etc. Additionally, RE doping has been found to effectively suppress defect formation, reduce nonradiative recombination, enhance photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY), and even allow for controlling over the morphology of the nanocrystals. The review also highlights the recent advancements in lead‐free RE‐based perovskites, especially in the case of Eu‐based perovskites (CsEuBr3 and CsEuCl3). Furthermore, it briefly introduces the applications of PNCs in various fields, such as perovskite solar cells (PSCs), luminescent solar concentrators (LSCs), photodetectors (PDs), and light‐emitting diodes (LEDs). A systematic discussion on the luminescence mechanisms of RE‐doped PNCs and lead‐free RE‐based perovskites is provided, along with an outlook on future research directions. The ultimate goal of this review is to provide guidance for the development of RE‐based perovskite optoelectronic devices. Concurrently, Zhong et al. introduced the ligand‐assisted reprecipitation method. These methods have become the predominant approaches for fabricating lead‐based perovskite nanocrystals. In 2017, Song et al. successfully incorporated various rare earth ions (Ce3+, Sm3+, Eu3+, Tb3+, Dy3+, Er3+, and Yb3+) into CsPbCl3 perovskite nanocrystals. They also observed the quantum cutting effect induced by defect states, facilitated by the doping of Yb3+. Gamelin et al. subsequently proposed that CsPbCl3:Yb3+ nanocrystals exhibit quantum cutting effects due to the introduction of charge‐compensating defects (VPb), resulting in the formation of Yb3+‐VPb‐Yb3+ defect complexes with shallow defect levels. In 2020, Zhang et al. successfully doped Nd3+ into CsPbBr3, yielding blue luminescent nanocrystals with a central wavelength of 459 nm and up to 90% photo‐luminescence quantum yield (PLQY). In the same year, Yang et al. achieved the synthesis of pure phase CsEuCl3 perovskite nanocrystals for the first time. In 2022, Paik et al. synthesized Cs3LnCl6 (Ln = Y, Ce, Gd, Er, Tm, Yb, Eu, Tb) nanocrystals using the thermal injection method. In 2023, Zhang et al. successfully introduced Ni2+ doping into CsEuCl3, enhancing the PLQY of CsEuCl3 nanocrystals from 5% to 19.7%. This review focuses on the development history of perovskite nanocrystals, including rare earth‐doped lead‐based perovskite nanocrystals and rare earth‐based lead‐free perovskite nanocrystals, as well as their applications. Cordycepin is the primary active compound of Cordyceps militaris. However, the definitive genetic mechanism governing cordycepin synthesis in fruiting body growth and development remains elusive, necessitating further investigation. This study consists of 64 C. militaris strains collected from northeast China. The high-yielding cordycepin strain CMS19 was selected for the analysis of cordycepin production and the genetic basis of cordycepin anabolism. First, the whole-genome sequencing of CMS19 yielded a final size of 30.96 Mb with 8 contigs and 9781 protein-coding genes. The genome component revealed the presence of four additional secondary metabolite gene clusters compared with other published genomes, suggesting the potential for the production of new natural products. The analyses of evolutionary and genetic differentiation revealed a close relationship between C. militaris and Beauveria bassiana. The population of strains distributed in northeast China exhibited the significant genetic variation. Finally, functional genes associated with cordycepin synthesis were identified using a combination of genomic and transcriptomic analyses. A large number of functional genes associated with energy and purine metabolism were significantly enriched, facilitating the reconstruction of a hypothetical cordycepin metabolic pathway. Radiation-induced intestinal damage (RIID) is a common side effect of radiotherapy in patients with abdominopelvic malignancies. Gap junctions are special structures consisting of connexins (Cxs). This study aimed to investigate the expression and role of connexins in RIID and underlying mechanism. In this study, a calcein-AM fluorescence probe was used to detect changes in gap junctional intercellular communication in intestinal epithelial IEC-6 cells. Our results show that gap junctional intercellular communication of IEC-6 cells was reduced at 6, 12, 24, and 48 h after irradiation, with the most pronounced effect at 24 h. Western blotting and immunofluorescence results showed that the expression of Cx43, but not other connexins, was reduced in irradiated intestinal epithelial cells. Silencing of Cx43 reduced gap junctional intercellular communication between irradiated intestinal epithelial cells with increased ROS and intracellular Ca2+ levels. Furthermore, knockdown of Cx43 reduced the number of clonal clusters, decreased cell proliferation with increased cytotoxicity and apoptosis. Western blotting results showed that silencing of Cx43 resulted in changed γ-H2AX and PI3K/AKT pathway proteins in irradiated intestinal epithelial cells. Administration of the PI3K/AKT pathway inhibitor LY294002 inhibited the radioprotective effects in Cx43-overexpressing intestinal epithelial cells. In order to explore the regulating role and the physiological and biochemical mechanisms of trans-abscisic acid (hereinafter referred as S-ABA) in the process of rice growth and development under salt stress, we took Chaoyou 1000 and Yuxiangyouzhan as materials and set up three salt concentration treatments, CK0 (Control treatment), N1 (50 mmol L−1 NaCl), and N2 (100 mmol L−1 NaCl), in potted trials; we aimed to study the mechanism of rice's response to salt stress from the perspective of agricultural traits and physiological biochemicals and to improve rice's resistance to salt stress through exogenously applying the regulating technology of S-ABA. The following results were obtained: Under salt stress, the growth of rice was significantly suppressed compared to CK0, exhibiting notable increases in agricultural indicators, photosynthesis efficiency, and the NA+ content of leaves. However, we noted a significant decrease in the K+ content in the leaves, alongside a prominent increase in NA+/K+ and a big increase in MDA (malondialdehyde), H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide), and O2− (superoxide anion). This caused the cytomembrane permeability to deteriorate. By applying S-ABA under salt stress (in comparison with salt treatment), we promoted improvements in agronomic traits, enhanced photosynthesis, reduced the accumulation of NA+ in leaves, increased the K+ content and the activity of antioxidant enzymes, and reduced the active oxygen content, resulting in a sharp decrease in the impact of salt stress on rice's development. The application of S-ABA decreased the endogenous ABA (abscisic acid) content under salt stress treatment but increased the endogenous GA (gibberellin) and IAA (indole acetic acid) contents and maintained the hormonal homeostasis in rice plants. To summarize, salt stress causes damage to rice growth, and the exogenous application of S-ABA can activate the pouring system mechanism of rice, suppress the outbreak of active oxygen, and regulate NA+/K+ balance and hormone homeostasis in the blades, thus relieving the salt stress. Recent extremely heavy precipitation has led to substantial economic losses and affected millions of residences in the Lancang‐Mekong River Basin (LMRB). This study analyzed the spatial‐temporal characteristics of the annual maximum precipitation (R1X) of the LMRB and identified the moisture sources and pathways conducive to R1Xs using a Lagrangian back trajectory model. Results show that India Ocean and Bay of Bengal (IO/BOB), local evapotranspiration, and West Pacific Ocean and East China (WP/EC) are the three main moisture transport pathways of the R1Xs in LMRB, contributing 68.3%, 20.4% and 11.3% of the trajectories, respectively. R1Xs in the downstream eastern area are affected by tropical cyclones bringing large amounts of moisture from the WP/EC. As tropical cyclones shifted northward under climate change impact, more extreme precipitation occurred over the LMRB due to moisture coming from WP/EC, but those from the IO/BOB had decreased because of the slowdown of flows across the Equator. The rapid advancement in the fabrication and culture of in vitro organs has marked a new era in biomedical research. While strides have been made in creating structurally diverse bioartificial organs, such as the liver, which serves as the focal organ in our study, the field lacks a uniform approach for the predictive assessment of liver function. Our research bridges this gap with the introduction of a novel, machine-learning-based "3P model" framework. This model draws on a decade of experimental data across diverse culture platform studies, aiming to identify critical fabrication parameters affecting liver function, particularly in terms of albumin and urea secretion. Through meticulous statistical analysis, we evaluated the functional sustainability of the in vitro liver models. Despite the diversity of research methodologies and the consequent scarcity of standardized data, our regression model effectively captures the patterns observed in experimental findings. The insights gleaned from our study shed light on optimizing culture conditions and advance the evaluation of the functional maintenance capacity of bioartificial livers. A large number of dead seedlings can occur in saline soils, which seriously affects the large-scale cultivation of rice. This study investigated the effects of plant growth regulators (PGRs) and nitrogen application on seedling growth and salt tolerance (Oryza sativa L.), which is of great significance for agricultural production practices. A conventional rice variety, "Huang Huazhan", was selected for this study. Non-salt stress treatments included 0% NaCl (CK treatment), CK + 0.05 g N/pot (N treatment), CK + 40 mg·L−1 5-aminolevulinic acid (5-ALA) (A treatment), and CK + 30 mg·L−1 diethylaminoethyl acetate (DTA-6) (D treatment). Salt stress treatments included 0.3% NaCl (S treatment), N + 0.3% NaCl (NS treatment), A + 0.3% NaCl (AS treatment), and D + 0.3% NaCl (DS treatment). When 3 leaves and 1 heart emerged from the soil, plants were sprayed with DTA-6 and 5-ALA, followed by the application of 0.3% NaCl (w/w) to the soil after 24 h. Seedling morphology and photosynthetic indices, as well as carbohydrate metabolism and key enzyme activities, were determined for each treatment. Our results showed that N, A, and D treatments promoted seedling growth, photosynthesis, carbohydrate levels, and the activities of key enzymes involved in carbon metabolism when compared to the CK treatment. The A treatment had the most significant effect, with increases in aboveground dry weight and net photosynthetic rates (Pn) ranging from 17.74% to 41.02% and 3.61% to 32.60%, respectively. Stomatal limiting values (Ls) significantly decreased from 19.17% to 43.02%. Salt stress significantly inhibited seedling growth. NS, AS, and DS treatments alleviated the morphological and physiological damage of salt stress on seedlings when compared to the S treatment. The AS treatment was the most effective in improving seedling morphology, promoting photosynthesis, increasing carbohydrate levels, and key enzyme activities. After AS treatment, increases in aboveground dry weight, net photosynthetic rate, soluble sugar content, total sucrose synthase, and amylase activities were 17.50% to 50.79%, 11.39% to 98.10%, 20.20% to 80.85%, 21.21% to 33.53%, and 22.17% to 34.19%, respectively, when compared to the S treatment. In summary, foliar sprays of 5-ALA, DTA-6, and additional nitrogen fertilizer enhanced rice seedling growth, increased photosynthesis, lowered Ls values, and improved seedling salt tolerance. Spraying two regulators, 5-ALA and DTA-6, quantitatively increased the effect of nitrogen fertilizer, with comparable effects on NaCl stress regulation. Abundant investigations have shown that hypobaric hypoxia (HH) causes cognitive impairment, mostly attributed to oxidative stress, inflammation, and apoptosis. HPN (4′-hydroxyl-2-subsitiuted phenylnitronyl nitroxide) is an excellent free radical scavenger with anti-inflammatory and anti-apoptotic activities. Our previous study has found that HPN exhibited neuroprotective effect on HH induced brain injury. In the present study, we examined the protective effect and potential mechanism of HPN on HH-induced cognitive impairment. Male mice were exposed to HH at 8000 m for 3 days with and without HPN treatment. Cognitive performance was assessed by the eight-arm radical maze. The histological changes were assayed by Nissle staining. The hippocampus cell apoptosis was detected by Tunnel staining. The levels of inflammatory cytokines and oxidative stress markers were detected. The expression of oxidative stress, inflammation-related and apoptosis-related proteins was determined by western blot. HPN administration significantly and mitigated HH induced histological damages and spatial memory loss with the evidence of decreased working memory error (WME), reference memory error (RME), total errors (TE) and total time (TT). In addition, HPN treatment significantly decreased the content of H2O2 and MDA, increased the levels of SOD, CAT, GSH-Px and GSH, and inhibited the synthesis of TNF-α, IL-1β and IL-6. Moreover, HPN administration could down-regulate the expression of NF-κB, TNF-α, Bax, and cleaved caspase-3 and up-regulate the expression of Nrf2, HO-1 and Bcl-2. The number of apoptotic cells was also significantly decreased in the hippocampus of mice in the HPN group. There results indicate that HPN improve HH-induced cognitive impairment by alleviating oxidative stress damage, suppressing inflammatory response and apoptosis and may be a powerful candidate compound for alleviating memory loss induced by HH. Coleman's theorem states that continuous internal symmetries cannot be spontaneously broken in two-dimensional quantum field theories (QFTs). In this work we consider surface (i.e. two-dimensional) defects in d-dimensional conformal field theories (CFTs) invariant under a continuous internal symmetry group G. We study under which conditions it is possible for a surface defect to break spontaneously a continuous internal symmetry. We find that spontaneous symmetry breaking (SSB) is impossible under reasonable assumptions on the defect Renormalization Group (RG) flow. Counterexamples are possible only for exotic RG flows, that do not terminate at a fixed-point. We discuss an example of this kind. We also illustrate our no-go result with an effective field theory analysis of generic defect RG flows. We find a generic weakly coupled defect universality class (with no SSB), where correlation functions decay logarithmically. In this article, based on the dynamic event‐triggered transmission protocol, the issue of asynchronous secure control for singular nonhomogeneous Markov jump cyber‐physical systems (CPSs) is studied. The matrix that is governed by the time‐varying transition rates lies in a convex polyhedron. To further degrade the transmission percentage over the network, the dynamic event‐triggered transmission protocol is developed. Besides, owing to the vulnerability of the network, the replay attack and deception attack are both considered, the occurrences of which are modelled by mutual independent random variables satisfying Bernoulli distribution. By constructing a parameter dependent and an auxiliary dynamic variable dependent Lyapunov functional, sufficient conditions of stochastic admissible for singular nonhomogeneous Markov jump CPSs are derived by parameter dependent matrix inequalities, which can be converted into the finite linear matrix inequalities. In recent decades, microphysiological constructs and systems (MPCs and MPSs) have undergone significant development, ranging from self‐organized organoids to high‐throughput organ‐on‐a‐chip platforms. Advances in biomaterials, bioinks, 3D bioprinting, micro/nanofabrication, and sensor technologies have contributed to diverse and innovative biofabrication tactics. MPCs and MPSs, particularly tissue chips relevant to absorption, distribution, metabolism, excretion, and toxicity, have demonstrated potential as precise, efficient, and economical alternatives to animal models for drug discovery and personalized medicine. However, current approaches mainly focus on the in vitro recapitulation of the human anatomical structure and physiological‐biochemical indices at a single or a few simple levels. This review highlights the recent remarkable progress in MPC and MPS models and their applications. Key Points: Question: Does once-weekly subcutaneous tirzepatide with diet and physical activity affect maintenance of body weight reduction in individuals with obesity or overweight? Findings: After 36 weeks of open-label maximum tolerated dose of tirzepatide (10 or 15 mg), adults (n = 670) with obesity or overweight (without diabetes) experienced a mean weight reduction of 20.9%. From randomization (at week 36), those switched to placebo experienced a 14% weight regain and those continuing tirzepatide experienced an additional 5.5% weight reduction during the 52-week double-blind period. Meaning: In participants with obesity/overweight, withdrawing tirzepatide led to substantial regain of lost weight, whereas continued treatment maintained and augmented initial weight reduction. Importance: The effect of continued treatment with tirzepatide on maintaining initial weight reduction is unknown. Objective: To assess the effect of tirzepatide, with diet and physical activity, on the maintenance of weight reduction. Design, Setting, and Participants: This phase 3, randomized withdrawal clinical trial conducted at 70 sites in 4 countries with a 36-week, open-label tirzepatide lead-in period followed by a 52-week, double-blind, placebo-controlled period included adults with a body mass index greater than or equal to 30 or greater than or equal to 27 and a weight-related complication, excluding diabetes. Interventions: Participants (n = 783) enrolled in an open-label lead-in period received once-weekly subcutaneous maximum tolerated dose (10 or 15 mg) of tirzepatide for 36 weeks. At week 36, a total of 670 participants were randomized (1:1) to continue receiving tirzepatide (n = 335) or switch to placebo (n = 335) for 52 weeks. Main Outcomes and Measures: The primary end point was the mean percent change in weight from week 36 (randomization) to week 88. Key secondary end points included the proportion of participants at week 88 who maintained at least 80% of the weight loss during the lead-in period. Results: Participants (n = 670; mean age, 48 years; 473 [71%] women; mean weight, 107.3 kg) who completed the 36-week lead-in period experienced a mean weight reduction of 20.9%. The mean percent weight change from week 36 to week 88 was −5.5% with tirzepatide vs 14.0% with placebo (difference, −19.4% [95% CI, −21.2% to −17.7%]; P <.001). Overall, 300 participants (89.5%) receiving tirzepatide at 88 weeks maintained at least 80% of the weight loss during the lead-in period compared with 16.6% receiving placebo (P <.001). The overall mean weight reduction from week 0 to 88 was 25.3% for tirzepatide and 9.9% for placebo. The most common adverse events were mostly mild to moderate gastrointestinal events, which occurred more commonly with tirzepatide vs placebo. Conclusions and Relevance: In participants with obesity or overweight, withdrawing tirzepatide led to substantial regain of lost weight, whereas continued treatment maintained and augmented initial weight reduction. Radiogenic skin injury (RSI) is a common complication during cancer radiotherapy or accidental exposure to radiation. The aim of this study is to investigate the metabolism of bile acids (BAs) and their derivatives during RSI. Rat skin tissues were irradiated by an X-ray linear accelerator. The quantification of BAs and their derivatives were performed by liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry (LC–MS)-based quantitative analysis. Key enzymes in BA biosynthesis were analyzed from single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-Seq) data of RSI in the human patient and animal models. The in vivo radioprotective effect of deoxycholic acid (DCA) was detected in irradiated SD rats. Twelve BA metabolites showed significant differences during the progression of RSI. Among them, the levels of cholic acid (CA), DCA, muricholic acid (MCA), chenodeoxycholic acid (CDCA), glycocholic acid (GCA), glycohyodeoxycholic acid (GHCA), 12-ketolithocholic acid (12-ketoLCA) and ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA) were significantly elevated in irradiated skin, whereas lithocholic acid (LCA), tauro-β-muricholic acid (Tβ-MCA) and taurocholic acid (TCA) were significantly decreased. Additionally, the results of scRNA-Seq indicated that genes involved in 7a-hydroxylation process, the first step in BA synthesis, showed pronounced alterations in skin fibroblasts or keratinocytes. The alternative pathway of BA synthesis is more actively altered than the classical pathway after ionizing radiation. In the model of rat radiogenic skin damage, DCA promoted wound healing and attenuated epidermal hyperplasia. Ionizing radiation modulates the metabolism of BAs. In July 2020, the Chinese government warned that the Plus Token was a Ponzi scheme based on blockchain. More than 200 million investors were involved in this scam. We investigate how investors' search behaviour is associated with their decision making. We find that the bitcoin bag of words Baidu index is positively and significantly related to bitcoins transferred to Plus Token addresses, suggesting that public prominence of searches about bitcoin and blockchain tends to be related to investor decisions regarding the Plus Token project. Silicon luminescence, due to silicon being abundant, non-toxic and harmless, is a topic of pivotal importance in optoelectronics and biological imaging. However, a major challenge in developing high-efficiency silicon light sources is the relatively weak allowable transitions. This study focuses on single atom-doped silicon nanocrystals (Si NCs) and theoretically investigates the emission behavior of single atoms within a tetrahedral coordination field. Doping a single atom in Si NCs can result in a ∼102 times improvement at least in the squared transition dipole moment (TDM2), and induce a spectral shift towards near- and mid-infrared wavelengths. Many security detectors do not have the ability to output individual luggage package images and are not compatible with deep learning algorithms. In this paper, a luggage package extraction of X-ray images based on the ES-MBD (Edge Sensitive Multi-channel Background Difference Algorithm) method is proposed, which is aiming at the problem that background difference binarization is insensitive to texture features and edge detection binarization is insensitive to smooth areas. In this method, X-ray luggage package images from complex original video images are used as a key target, the RGB three-channel background difference is calculated from the original X-ray image, the edge detection of the grayscale map is performed using the Sobel operator optimized by local gradient enhancement, and the morphological expansion process is performed on the combined results to obtain the complete wrapping target. The Suzuki algorithm is used to detect the outline of the binarized package image, match the package frame area and determine the key target. The ES-MBD method solves the problem of information loss in the traditional binarization method, and retains the information of insensitive regions while reducing noise. Through experimental comparison, the accuracy of ES-MBD binarization method reaches 97.3%, the recall rate reaches 96.5%, and ES-MBD method has obvious advantages in key target extraction of X-ray images. Radiotherapy (RT) has been the standard of care for treating a multitude of cancer types. Radiation-induced gastric injury (RIGI) is a common complication of RT for thoracic and abdominal tumors. It manifests acutely as radiation gastritis or gastric ulcers, and chronically as chronic atrophic gastritis or intestinal metaplasia. In recent years, studies have shown that intracellular signals such as oxidative stress response, p38/MAPK pathway and transforming growth factor-β signaling pathway are involved in the progression of RIGI. This review also summarized the risk factors, diagnosis and treatment of this disease. However, the root of therapeutic challenges lies in the incomplete understanding of the mechanisms. The Arctic rivers contribute more than one‐third of the total freshwater streamflow into the Arctic Ocean and play an essential role in the heat and mass circulation of the Arctic atmosphere/ocean system. As the Arctic is warming faster than the global average, the streamflow from Arctic basins increases. This study analyzed the streamflow of the three largest Siberian rivers: the Lena, Yenisei, and Ob', at multiple temporal scales. Results show that the annual streamflow of each river basin exhibits statistically significant increasing trends, while the seasonal streamflow of sub‐basins generally decreases in the summer but increases in the winter. Both autocorrelation and long‐term persistency are often found in the streamflow time series, which indicates significant changes in the large‐scale climatological environment. Therefore, wavelet coherence between the streamflow and large‐scale climate patterns, including the El Niño–Southern Oscillation (ENSO), North Pacific pattern (NP), Arctic Oscillation (AO), and the Pacific/North America Pattern (PNA), have been conducted. NP and ENSO are found to have positive relationships with the precipitation and the ratio of potential evapotranspiration over the precipitation. AO and the PNA are found to have positive relationships with the streamflow of the Ob' and Yenisei rivers at decadal and multidecadal scales. This study demonstrates that the existence of nonstationarities within the Siberian streamflow as the combined impact of climate change alters the hydroclimatological and terrestrial environment of Siberia. These findings provide new insights into the mechanisms underlying the hydrologic changes to warming trends and oscillations of climate patterns, which contribute to our understanding and the prediction of streamflow of these northern rivers. Cancer remains the leading cause of death around the world. In cancer treatment, over 50% of cancer patients receive radiotherapy alone or in multimodal combinations with other therapies. One of the adverse consequences after radiation exposure is the occurrence of radiation-induced tissue fibrosis (RIF), which is characterized by the abnormal activation of myofibroblasts and the excessive accumulation of extracellular matrix. This phenotype can manifest in multiple organs, such as lung, skin, liver and kidney. In-depth studies on the mechanisms of radiation-induced fibrosis have shown that a variety of extracellular signals such as immune cells and abnormal release of cytokines, and intracellular signals such as cGAS/STING, oxidative stress response, metabolic reprogramming and proteasome pathway activation are involved in the activation of myofibroblasts. Tissue fibrosis is extremely harmful to patients' health and requires early diagnosis. In addition to traditional serum markers, histologic and imaging tests, the diagnostic potential of nuclear medicine techniques is emerging. Anti-inflammatory and antioxidant therapies are the traditional treatments for radiation-induced fibrosis. Recently, some promising therapeutic strategies have emerged, such as stem cell therapy and targeted therapies. However, incomplete knowledge of the mechanisms hinders the treatment of this disease. Parkinson's disease (PD), multiple system atrophy (MSA), and dementia with Lewy bodies (DLB) are neurodegenerative disorders with alpha‐synuclein (α‐syn) aggregation pathology. Different strains of α‐syn with unique properties are suggested to cause distinct clinical and pathological manifestations resulting in PD, MSA, or DLB. To study individual α‐syn spreading patterns, we injected α‐syn fibrils amplified from brain homogenates of two MSA patients and two PD patients into the brains of C57BI6/J mice. Antibody staining against pS129‐α‐syn showed that α‐syn fibrils amplified from the brain homogenates of the four different patients caused different levels of α‐syn spreading. The strongest α‐syn pathology was triggered by α‐syn fibrils of one of the two MSA patients, followed by comparable pS129‐α‐syn induction by the second MSA and one PD patient material. Histological analysis using an antibody against Iba1 further showed that the formation of pS129‐α‐syn is associated with increased microglia activation. In contrast, no differences in dopaminergic neuron numbers or co‐localization of α‐syn in oligodendrocytes were observed between the different groups. Our data support the spreading of α‐syn pathology in MSA, while at the same time pointing to spreading heterogeneity between different patients potentially driven by individual patient immanent factors. BACKGROUND: Heat stress (HS) is known to exert negative effects on the poultry and breeding industry, resulting in severe economic losses. Bile acids (BAs), an important component of bile, play a crucial role in improving the production performance of livestock and poultry, alleviating stress injury, and ensuring the health of livestock and poultry. At present, porcine BAs are widely used because of their therapeutic effects on HS; however, it remains unclear whether the same effects are exerted by sheep BAs, which are different from porcine BAs and have different compositions. In this study, we compared the anti‐HS effects of porcine BAs and sheep BAs in the diet by establishing an HS model of chicks and investigating the chicken performance, HS‐related genes' expression, oxidative stress markers, jejunal histoarchitecture, inflammatory cytokines' expression, jejunal secreted immunoglobulin A concentration, and cecal bacterial flora. RESULTS: The results showed that the addition of sheep BAs to the diet increased the average daily weight gain and the feed conversion ratio of chicks. Under HS, sheep BAs were more effective than porcine BAs in improving the activities of lactate dehydrogenase and glutamic pyruvic transaminase in serum and the content/activity of malondialdehyde, superoxide dismutase, and reduced glutathione in serum and tissue, in reducing the messenger RNA (mRNA) expression of heat shock proteins (HSP60, HSP70, and HSP90) in the liver and jejunum, and in improving the histological structure and the expression of tight junction proteins (occludin and zonula occludens‐1) and enriching intestinal bacterial flora. However, porcine BAs were significantly inferior to sheep BAs in reducing the mRNA expression of inflammatory factors (interleukin‐6, interleukin‐1β, and tumor necrosis factor‐α). CONCLUSION: The effect of sheep BAs was more significant than porcine BAs was in alleviating HS injury in chicks, suggesting that sheep BAs have great potential as new feed nutrition and health additive to improve poultry production performance and prevent HS. © 2023 Society of Chemical Industry. Radiation-induced esophageal injury (RIEI) is a major dose-limiting complication of radiotherapy, mainly acute esophagitis. However, understanding of radiation injury and repair mechanisms in esophageal epithelial cells remains limited. MiR-132-3p and its uridylated isoform (miR-132-3p-UUU) are upregulated in radiation esophageal injury, yet their role in radiation-induced esophageal injury progression remains unexplored. We expressed miR-132-3p and its uridine form in irradiated human esophageal epithelial cells (HEEC) and secreted exosomes was examined by real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). Cell proliferation, migration, apoptosis and colony formation were used to determine biological effects. Cell cycle assays and dual luciferase reporter assays were used to assess the relationship between miR-132-3p and its uridylated isoforms and MEF2A. The addition of miR-132-3p mimics or overexpression of miR-132-3p significantly inhibited the proliferation and migration of esophageal epithelial cells (HEEC cells as well as primary cells) and increased radiation damage. This was reversed by its uridylated isoform by reducing binding to MEF2A and regulating the cell cycle. Furthermore, miR-132-3p and its triuridylated isomer also regulate apoptosis after irradiation through pathways other than reactive oxygen species (ROS). In conclusion, our data reveal that radiation-induced miR-132-3p uridylation and exosome-mediated intercellular communication and tri-uridylated isoforms are protective against radiation-induced esophageal injury. Background: There is an increased concern that statins may have an unintended effect of elevated lipoprotein(a) [Lp(a)]. We conducted a large sample real-world study to test the association. Methods: This retrospective cohort study was conducted using data from an integrated SuValue database, which includes 221 hospitals across China covering more than 200,000 of population with longitudinal follow-up to 10 years. Propensity score matching was applied to identify two comparable cohorts with statin users and non-statin users. Detailed follow-up information such as Lp(a) levels were extracted. The hazard ratio was calculated on Lp(a) changes based on the statin usage cohorts. Detailed subgroup and different characteristic cohorts' analyses were also conducted. Results: After baseline propensity score matching, a total of 42,166 patients were included in a 1:1 matched ratio between statin users and non-statin users. In the case of no difference in low density lipoprotein (LDL-C), Lp(a) was increased significantly with the use of statins (adjusted HR 1.47; 95% confidence interval [CI] 1.43–1.50). Lp(a) increase was observed in various subgroup analyses and different cohorts. The dose intensity of statin was positively associated with the evaluated Lp(a) level. Conclusion: The use of statins was associated with an increased risk of Lp(a) elevation compared with non-statin use counterparts. Optical fiber sensors are newly established gas pipeline leakage monitoring technologies with advantages, including high detection sensitivity to weak leaks and suitability for harsh environments. This work presents a systematic numerical study on the multi-physics propagation and coupling process of the leakage-included stress wave to the fiber under test (FUT) through the soil layer. The results indicate that the transmitted pressure amplitude (hence the axial stress acted on FUT) and the frequency response of the transient strain signal strongly depends on the types of soil. Furthermore, it is found that soil with a higher viscous resistance is more favorable to the propagation of spherical stress waves, allowing FUT to be installed at a longer distance from the pipeline, given the sensor detection limit. By setting the detection limit of the distributed acoustic sensor to 1 nε, the feasible range between FUT and the pipeline for clay, loamy soil and silty sand is numerically determined. The gas-leakage-included temperature variation by the Joule-Thomson effect is also analyzed. Results provide a quantitative criterion on the installation condition of distributed fiber sensors buried in soil for the great-demanding gas pipeline leakage monitoring applications. The meninges, membranes surrounding the central nervous system (CNS) boundary, harbor a diverse array of immunocompetent immune cells, and therefore, serve as an immunologically active site. Meningeal immunity has emerged as a key factor in modulating proper brain function and social behavior, performing constant immune surveillance of the CNS, and participating in several neurological diseases. However, it remains to be determined how meningeal immunity contributes to CNS physiology and pathophysiology. With the advances in single-cell omics, new approaches, such as single-cell technologies, unveiled the details of cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying meningeal immunity in CNS homeostasis and dysfunction. These new findings contradict some previous dogmas and shed new light on new possible therapeutic targets. In this review, we focus on the complicated multi-components, powerful meningeal immunosurveillance capability, and its crucial involvement in physiological and neuropathological conditions, as recently revealed by single-cell technologies. Keloids are benign dermal tumors that arise from abnormal wound healing processes following skin lesions. Surgical excision followed by radiotherapy plays an important role in the treatment of keloids. Nevertheless, radioresistance remains a serious impediment to treatment efficacy. Investigation of the molecular response of keloids to radiation may contribute to radiosensitizing strategies. Primary keloid fibroblasts from human keloids were isolated and irradiated with X-ray. The expression profiles of messenger RNA (mRNA) in nonradiated and irradiated primary keloid fibroblasts were measured by mRNA sequencing analysis. Then, we identified common motifs and corresponding transcription factors of dysregulated mRNAs by using bioinformatic analysis of the proximal promoters. Whereafter, GO and KEGG were used to analyze the functional enrichment of the differentially expressed genes. We found that radiation not only suppressed proliferation but also increased cell senescence of primary keloid fibroblasts. There were 184 mRNAs and 204 mRNAs that showed significant changes in 4 and 8 Gy irradiated primary keloid fibroblasts, respectively. Among them, 8 upregulated and 30 downregulated mRNAs showed consistent alterations in 4 and 8 Gy irradiated primary keloid fibroblasts. More importantly, the xForkhead box O1 (FOXO1) signaling pathway was involved in the irradiation response. Pretreatment with the FOXO1 signaling inhibitor AS1842856 significantly promoted LDH release, apoptosis and senescence of primary keloid fibroblasts following irradiation. Our findings illustrated the molecular changes in human keloid fibroblasts in response to radiation, and FOXO1 pathway inhibition is expected to provide a novel strategy for the radiosensitization of keloids. The p.Thr61Ile (p.T61I) mutation in coiled‐coil‐helix–coiled‐coil‐helix domain containing 2 (CHCHD2) was deemed a causative factor in Parkinson's disease (PD). However, the pathomechanism of the CHCHD2 p.T61I mutation in PD remains unclear. Few existing mouse models of CHCHD2‐related PD completely reproduce the features of PD, and no transgenic or knock‐in (KI) mouse models of CHCHD2 mutations have been reported. In the present study, we generated a novel CHCHD2 p.T61I KI mouse model, which exhibited accelerated mortality, progressive motor deficits, and dopaminergic (DA) neurons loss with age, accompanied by the accumulation and aggregation of α‐synuclein and p‐α‐synuclein in the brains of the mutant mice. The mitochondria of mouse brains and induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs)‐derived DA neurons carrying the CHCHD2 p.T61I mutation exhibited aberrant morphology and impaired function. Mechanistically, proteomic and RNA sequencing analysis revealed that p.T61I mutation induced mitochondrial dysfunction in aged mice likely through repressed insulin‐degrading enzyme (IDE) expression, resulting in the degeneration of the nervous system. Overall, this CHCHD2 p.T61I KI mouse model recapitulated the crucial clinical and neuropathological aspects of patients with PD and provided a novel tool for understanding the pathogenic mechanism and therapeutic interventions of CHCHD2‐related PD. Radiotherapy is the main treatment for cervical cancer. It is usually applied alone or in combination with surgery and/or chemotherapy. To explore the association between immune microenvironment of cervical cancer and radiotherapy response, we collected 20 paired cervical cancer tumor samples before and after radiotherapy and partial clinical information. With paired-end RNA-seq, we quantified the immune infiltration and tumor purity of these samples, and obtained 6350 differentially expressed genes before and after radiotherapy. With the help of R language, the function enrichment analysis and 22 immune cells infiltration analysis were carried out. Moreover, we built a random forest model based on the immune microenvironment to predict the short-term efficacy of radiotherapy. We found that the effect of radiotherapy on the immune microenvironment of stage III and IV cervical cancer patients was weaker than that of stage I and II cervical cancer patients. Radiotherapy can significantly reduce the tumor purity and increase immune infiltration. The proportions of the immune infiltrating cells are predictive of the radiotherapy efficacy.
