Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze the robot trends of the next generation. Design/methodology/approach: This paper is divided into two sections: the key modern technology on which Europe's robotics industry has built its foundation is described. Then, the next key megatrends were analyzed. Findings: Artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics are technologies of major importance for the development of humanity. This time is mature for the evolution of industrial and service robots. The perception of robot use has changed from threading to aiding. The cost of mass production of technological devices is decreasing, while a rich set of enabling technologies is under development. Soft mechanisms, 5G and AI have enabled us to address a wide range of new problems. Ethics should guide human behavior in addressing this newly available powerful technology in the right direction. The article aims to determine the possibilities of product quality management in industry 4.0 based on digital institutions. Based on international experience for 2022, the authors applied the regression analysis method to compile an econometric model that proves that ensuring digital competitiveness requires state and public management of product quality in industry 4.0 with the help of digital institutions. It has also been proved that digital competitiveness in local and global markets is determined by different institutions. The theoretical significance of the authors’ conclusions is that they have formed a new institutional understanding of product quality in industry 4.0. The contribution of the article to the literature consists in the development of the scientific provisions of the TQM concept through the formation of a new, broad understanding of the quality of Industry 4.0 products in the unity of the completeness of the manufacturer’s technical capabilities and the perceived value and usefulness of this product, as well as through a reconsideration of the approach to measuring and managing the quality of products industry 4.0 in order to strengthen their digital competitiveness in accordance with the new understanding of quality. The practical significance of the article is related to the fact that the monitoring has revealed a favorable institutional environment for quality management of products in industry 4.0 in Russia. The institutional perspective of improving the product quality of industry 4.0 in Russia has also been opened up. The managerial significance is expressed in the fact that the developed institutional approach to product quality management in industry 4.0 will improve the efficiency of this management and ensure a more complete capacity utilization of medium- and high-tech industries, as well as an increase in the export of their products. The goal of this paper is to justify the prospects and develop recommendations for consistent management of the quality of water resources for sustainable development based on industrial and manufacturing engineering, while taking into account the specific features of developed and developing countries. The originality of the research is that water resources are considered in terms of quality, and a consistent scientific view of the quality of water resources is formed for the first time in the unity of all its signs. It is suggested to use the methodology of comprehensive quality measurement which is being tested using the example of developed and developing countries in 2020. The uniqueness of the paper consists in the development of a new, non-financial approach to managing the quality of water resources, one that would involve reliance on industrial and manufacturing engineering in the digital economy. The novel nature of the research consists in examining the experience of developed and developing countries in order to identify and take into account their specific features and to develop specific highly-refined application-specific recommendations to ensure high efficiency management of the quality of water resources. In order to improve the quality of water resources in developed countries, it is recommended that e-government is developed by 95.74 per cent, and the active use of Big Data and analytics is increased by 96 per cent. The purpose of this paper is to substantiate the advantages and to develop applied recommendations for marketing management of quality based on industrial and manufacturing engineering of project activities, in view of the specifics in social and technological entrepreneurship. Originality and novelty of the research are due to its following competitive advantages as compared to the existing published works. Firstly, the essence of quality management based on industrial and manufacturing engineering of project activities in the unity of social and technical criteria of quality is specified. Secondly, the specifics of the COVID-19 are determined, and the recommendations and qualitative landmarks for quality management for the purpose of economic crisis management are offered. Thirdly, the advantages are substantiated, and perspectives of marketing quality management for its systemic increase in view of all modern criteria are determined. Fourthly, the corresponding recommendations for managing products' quality separately for social and technological entrepreneurship are offered. The contribution of this paper to development of the theory and practice of quality management consists in development of marketing tools of quality management, substantiation of differences between quality management in social and technological entrepreneurship, consideration of influence of the COVID-19 crisis on quality, and development of the framework foundations for preventing the reduction of quality. The current situation in the fight against the spread of the coronavirus COVID-19 has demonstrated that the most affected category of citizens (in terms of morbidity and mortality) around the world are healthcare workers. High workloads, the risk of infection and death from coronavirus against the background of sometimes insufficient protection, both physically and socially, leads to the fact that the risks of an increase in the outflow of medical workers from the industry and an increase in the personnel shortage. Most of the states agreed to provide medical workers with a wide range of benefits, guarantees and compensations. At the same time, measures to support medical workers are important not only in themselves, but also as a tool for managing personnel in the industry. This publication examines the experience of the Russian Federation in state support for persons associated with the treatment of coronavirus infection, including in comparison with the experience of some other countries. An assessment of the effectiveness and feasibility of using various measures to support medical workers is given and the conclusion is substantiated that in order to improve the staffing of health care to improve the quality of provided medical services, it is necessary, if possible, to "monetize" benefits and guarantees. The paper is aimed at identifying the prospects for improving the quality based on industrial and manufacturing engineering, as well as developing recommendations to improve the quality management of environmental protection in the activity of supreme audit institutions in various states based on industrial and manufacturing engineering. The originality of the research is attributable to the focus on the quality and prospects for improving it in environmental protection in the activity of supreme audit institutions in various states. The paper not only justifies the need for improving the quality, but also identifies accurate quantitative benchmarks (reference values of quality indicators and their factors), gives applied recommendations to improve the quality of environmental protection in the activity of supreme audit institutions in various states based on industrial and manufacturing engineering. The authors’ recommendations are oriented toward a realistic (feasible) scenario and involve ensuring the beneficial effect of industrial and manufacturing engineering by increasing the degree of beneficial effect of industrial and manufacturing engineering factor to 100 points (+31.19 %). This will cause an increase in the strength of auditing and accounting standards to 15.95% and an increase in the degree of renewable energy regulation to 11.19%. The goal of this paper is to study the possibilities of states’ adapting to the global trends of the digital transformation of the main spheres of life for survival and development in the conditions of the forming multipolar world as the basis of state management’s quality and to develop a new methodology of increasing the state management’s quality based on industrial and manufacturing engineering and the perspectives of drones. The authors offer a new treatment of state management’s quality in a modern multipolar world, which equals state management’s quality to economic system’s adaptation to digitalization, the reflection of which is global competitiveness. The offered treatment specifies the economic essence of state management’s quality, which is considered – for the first time – from the positions of external criteria – primarily, global digital competitiveness. For the methodological support for new treatment of state management’s quality, the authors offer a perspective methodology of increase of this quality. This methodology is based on development of industrial and manufacturing engineering and reflects new perspectives of dissemination of drones. The purpose of this paper is to develop the marketing approach to managing the quality of a company’s products based on industrial and manufacturing engineering in the conditions of transnational capital transformation, which takes into account the specifics of developed and developing countries. Originality and novelty of this research consist in its studying the new approach to management of a company’s products’ quality based on industrial and manufacturing engineering and the process of its formation in the conditions of transnational capital transformation at the theoretical level of economics and determining the perspectives and offering the recommendations for stimulation of the successful transition and practical application of the new approach with the help of marketing. The purpose of this paper is to develop a program-target strategy of quality management in Industry 4.0 and formation of cognitive economy based on industrial and manufacturing engineering in the Russian Federation and countries of the EU. Originality of this research consists in the following. Firstly, the authors specify the essence, distinguish and determine the elements of quality in Industry 4.0, offer estimate indicators and use them to perform a polycriterial evaluation of quality in Industry 4.0, and determine and substantiate the sources of its increase in the Russian Federation and countries of the EU. Secondly, the authors study and prove the strong influence of the factors of industrial and manufacturing engineering on successes in formation of cognitive economy in the Russian Federation and countries of the EU and determine the perspectives of optimizing the influence of these factors of in the interests of formation of cognitive economy. Thirdly, the specifics of causal connections of quality management in Industry 4.0 in countries of Western and Eastern Europe are determined, due to which this research has high empirical value, for its allows developing the specific programs of development of Industry 4.0 in countries of Europe in view of their specific features. Fourthly, the issues of quality management in Industry 4.0 and formation of cognitive economy based on industrial and manufacturing engineering are studied consistently, due to which a general program-target strategy for the Russian Federation and countries of the EU is developed. The purpose of this paper is to study the contribution of the factors of industrial and manufacturing engineering to quality of digital legal proceedings in the EAEU (Eurasian Economic Union) and BRICS and to develop recommendations for managing these factors for increasing the quality of services’ provision in the form of digital evidence, Internet courts, and E-court. Originality of this research is ensured by the following competitive advantages as compared to the existing literature sources. Firstly, we specify the “wide” treatment of quality of digital legal proceedings’ services and select the indicators, form statistical basis and offer a methodological approach to complex indicative evaluation of quality of digital legal proceedings’ services. This provides a scientific basis for protecting business’s interests in the court in the interaction with the state. This also forms a comprehensive scientific idea on creation of favorable conditions for doing business with the help of increasing the quality of digital legal proceedings’ services. Secondly, we take into account the influence of the factors of industrial and manufacturing engineering on quality of digital legal proceedings’ services. This allows developing detailed and precise applied recommendations for state management of quality of digital legal proceedings’ services in the interests of their increase. The purpose of this paper is to develop a new scientific and methodological approach to scientific research and practical implementation of state management practices in global financial markets, which would take into account the specifics and would realize the potential of the digital economy due to using the factors, threats, criteria, and indicators of industrial and manufacturing engineering. Originality of the research consists in the following: firstly, it envisages evaluation of the results of state management in global financial markets from the positions of quality, due to which high precision of evaluation of achieved, and it becomes applicable for thorough scientific research of causal connections of management in global financial markets. This paper is devoted to finding the importance of the factors of industrial and manufacturing engineering for fighting a virus threat and to substantiating the perspectives of increasing quality in the healthcare sphere of based on digitalization and Industry 4.0. The authors perform quantitative analysis of the influence of the factors of industrial and manufacturing engineering on quality of fight against the virus threat in comparison with the traditional factors. A qualitative treatment of the advantages of digitalization and Industry 4.0 with the help of industrial and manufacturing engineering for increasing the quality in fight against the virus threat is provided. The perspectives are modeled and recommendations are developed for increasing the quality of fight against the virus threat based on digitalization and Industry 4.0, with the help of industrial and manufacturing engineering. Originality and advantages of the research consist in the fact that successfulness of fight against the virus threat is treated not from the positions of resources (expenditures) but from the positions of results - quality. Due to this, the research contributes to formation of a concept of healthcare, which is oriented at the result and which guarantees high quality of medical services. The purpose of this paper is to determine the influence of the factors of industrial and manufacturing engineering on quality of services that are provided in digital legal proceedings of the Asia-Pacific region, based on? Big Data, blockchain, and AI. The authors model the influence of the factors of industrial and manufacturing engineering on quality of legal proceedings in countries of the Asia-Pacific region with the help of correlation analysis. Simplex method is used for determining the optimal influence of the factors of industrial and manufacturing engineering on quality of legal proceedings in countries of the Asia-Pacific region. It is determined that the potential of increase of quality of services of digital legal proceedings based on managing the factors of industrial and manufacturing engineering is more vivid in developing countries (33.55%) than in developed countries (9.36%). The authors reflect a new view on the prospects of development of legal proceedings - from the position of consumers' interests' protection, emphasizing on quality of the provided public services. Due to this, a new, alternative approach to state management of development of the legal proceedings system is developed; instead of increase of regulation, it envisages de-regulation and marketization of legal proceedings.
