Purpose: The purpose of this study is to explore strategic investment in information management and its crucial role in driving financial innovation. By examining the integration of advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Blockchain, Big Data Analytics, Cloud Computing, Large Language Models (LLMs), Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Internet of Things (IoT), Cybersecurity Technologies, and Quantum Computing, this research aims to highlight how these technologies enhance decision-making, operational effectiveness, risk management, and compliance within the financial sector. Methodology: The study employs a comprehensive literature review of existing research to analyze the impact of strategic investment in information management on financial innovation. Key technologies are identified and their applications in finance are discussed. The methodology includes synthesizing findings from various sources to present a cohesive understanding of the relationship between information management, technology, and financial innovation. Results: The results indicate that strategic investment in information management significantly enhances financial innovation by leveraging advanced technologies. AI and ML improve predictive analytics and customer personalization, Blockchain ensures secure transactions and transparency, Big Data Analytics enables data-driven decision-making, and Cloud Computing provides scalable solutions. LLMs enhance natural language processing capabilities, RPA automates repetitive tasks, IoT facilitates real-time monitoring, Cybersecurity Technologies protect financial data, and Quantum Computing offers potential breakthroughs in financial modeling and encryption. Implication: The implications of this study suggest that financial institutions should prioritize strategic investments in information management and the adoption of advanced technologies to stay competitive and resilient in the evolving financial landscape. Effective information management practices enable better decision-making, improved operational efficiencies, enhanced risk management, and regulatory compliance, ultimately fostering financial innovation. Based on the spring, spring MVC and MyBatis structures of the cloud platform SSM framework, an information management platform for power grid material supply chain is built. The data layer uses a variety of sensors to collect power grid material supply chain information, and the information is fed back to the data storage layer after being integrated by the logical reorganization function of the persistence layer. The data storage layer uses the multi-sensor supply chain information fusion method based on paste progress to fuse the information and store it in the database. The business logic layer calls the information in the database and uses the improved k-means clustering algorithm to detect the abnormal supply chain data information. After calculation and data control by the control layer, the data management results are displayed through the presentation layer. The experimental results show that the absolute error of data fusion is very low. It can effectively cluster data information and distinguish outlier anomaly information at the same time, and the effect of information management is good. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

As a high-value agricultural product, the cold chain logistics management of Gannan navel oranges has global significance. Especially in Africa and Europe, food safety and supply chain quality are critical issues. However, the existing Gannan navel orange logistics information management system relies on traditional databases and information systems, with insufficient data sharing and transparency, affecting the overall coordination of the supply chain and customer satisfaction. In addition, the traditional system is vulnerable to hacker attacks and malicious tampering of data by insiders, resulting in serious economic losses and reputation damage. So the blockchain platform constructed in this study improves the transparency and traceability of logistics data through the SMART-PBFT algorithm of the alliance chain, which optimizes the logistics management process, improves the quality of logistics services, and reduces operating costs. It improves the logistics efficiency and data transparency of local agricultural products, and also provides a demonstrative case for the cold chain management of other high-value agricultural products around the world, with broad application potential and reference value. This research examines the information management processes implemented in student dormitories and evaluates the enhancement of institutional efficiency based on student satisfaction. The study involved 150 students residing in dormitories across two universities, and data were collected through participant interviews. The findings indicate that while dormitory management is perceived as effective in some areas, there are significant opportunities for improvement in information management, communication, and service quality. Based on the student feedback, this article proposes several strategies to enhance dormitory management, including the adoption of digital platforms for better communication, regular maintenance schedules, and improved transparency in financial management. The challenges of implementing these measures, such as resource constraints and institutional resistance to change, are also discussed. Firstly, this study explores novel log mining techniques in genetic algorithms and web application development technology. Secondly, by integrating log mining techniques to optimize the Apriori algorithm, associations between sports data and information are discovered. Through the optimized algorithm, this study identifies key association rules of sports data information and validates the optimized system’s reliability and effectiveness through experiments. The experimental results show that the running time of the traditional Apriori algorithm exponentially grows with the increase in information volume, while the optimized execution efficiency is improved by approximately 10–15%. Additionally, the average retrieval accuracy of this optimized system can reach 98.3%, although the retrieval time also increased by 23%. Therefore, the technology and algorithms proposed in this study have certain application value in the sports information management system and contribute to the optimization of data information management in this field. The Industry 4.0/smart manufacturing paradigm has significantly changed the activities and processes of organizations. Emergent smart manufacturing technology called a 'Digital Twin' (DT) aids organizations in enhancing overall performance by creating a virtual prototype of a real system. However, DT technology adoption in emerging economies is in the nascent stage. This research aims to identify the determinants affecting the adoption of DT technology in Indian manufacturing firms. Based on an extensive literature survey and experts' opinions, 14 determinants were identified, and these determinants were analyzed using a hybrid multi-attribute decision-making approach to understand the contextual relationship and to identify the cause–effect relationship amongst them. Based on these results, the most critical determinants were explored, namely 'Real-time system operations and tracking', 'Integration, the convergence of systems, processes & resources and enterprise collaboration', 'Information and Data management within or between the systems'. The manufacturing organizations of emerging economies need to consider these determinants for the effective adoption of DT technology, and policymakers can use the findings of this study to develop appropriate strategies. Purpose: In recent years, issues like untrusted or questionable sources of information are indisputably rampant in the digital era. The quality of information is now found to be challenging with its kind of issues, crisis and also clarity in which it requires to have a strategic scenario and practice to enhance quality assurance in order to creating safe cyber-spaces. The initiative to organise information at the organisational stage has widely emerged on the cyberspace. This paper aims to examine the insights of the element of trust in quality communication and information management to drive key performance indicator to support organisational sustainability. This approach is likely to play a significant role in enhancing critical inquiry in to issue of trust in information to ensure untainted integrity and quality assurance of the source of the information. Design/methodology/approach: The preparation of this paper used a systematic literature review according to four phases, namely, identification, assessment or examination, extraction and interpretation. This approach was selected to advance critical inquiry into the most current topic on the trust for quality of information as way of strategic communication management to achieve safe cyber-organisational sustainability. The process was made through the various sources of peer-reviewed articles including journals, book chapters, books and conference proceedings. The literature review was carried out through the search for keywords such as trust in information, strategic communication and safe cyber-organisational sustainability. Findings: The results revealed that the trust in quality of information with its wide range of initiatives could be enhanced as an initial attempt to embrace comprehensive approach in establishing strategic communication to ensure organisational sustainability and quality assurance of safe cyber space. The result further indicated three points, which follows development of virtual interaction with information management for safe cyberspace, enhancing continued predictability assessment in digital information process and practice and developing trust in information and quality of communication for organisational sustainability. Research limitations/implications: This paper is expected to give an insightful value in contributing to quality measurement of the strategic communication to promote trust in quality of information. Hence, the design to expand strategic management to support digital social connections in the cyber space. As a result, the profound contribution would also lead to enhancement of organisational sustainability in the digital era, amid technological trends. Practical implications: The need to develop an approach to strengthen the trust in information in the digital cyberspace should focus on providing insights into the quality of information, authenticity and integrity to develop quality assurance for social connection. The awareness raising process in consolidating the trust in information has to start with exploring early social interaction in the digital age. This approach provides quality assurance to linking digital connection to develop trust in the quality of information. This would enable feedback to ensure accessibility and accuracy of quality of information dealing with critical elements relating to organisational sustainability. Originality/value: The entire awareness in expanding the trust as information quality indicator has to be started with exploring the early social interaction in the digital age, to achieve quality basis on linking the digital connection as an attempt to build the information quality. The integration of digital technologies in managing technical and design information is transforming architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) processes within educational institutions. Despite this, construction education lacks practical, interactive learning tools, and there is insufficient collaboration between academia and the construction industry. To address these challenges, the CAMPUS 2.0 project at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana developed a web-based platform that integrates building information modeling (BIM) and gamification elements. This platform improves project coordination, facilitates interdisciplinary learning, and enhances the management of technical and design information for campus buildings. CAMPUS 2.0 also promotes collaboration and active user engagement, filling a critical gap in the practical tools in construction education. This study assesses the usability of CAMPUS 2.0 among 235 students, teachers, and staff members, demonstrating a positive impact on the university community. The findings provide insights into how digital tools can improve project management, interdisciplinary collaboration, and knowledge sharing within educational settings, offering broader implications for other institutions. Building information modeling (BIM) and blockchain applications have introduced significant benefits to the architecture, engineering, construction, and operation (AECO) industry in recent years. Although publications on BIM and blockchain integration have been increasing, no systematic examination of the present status and managerial implications of integrated BIM and blockchain has been conducted. To bridge this gap, this paper conducts a state-of-the-art review of the development of integrated BIM and blockchain in a built environment. A combination of qualitative and quantitative methods was adopted to synthesize and analyze the research evidence. The results revealed five key managerial implications of BIM integration with blockchain at the project level: design and collaboration, financial management, construction management, information management, and integration management (with other cutting-edge technologies). Challenges and opportunities are outlined and articulated from both technological and managerial perspectives, such as stakeholder management, impact assessment, real-time project management, information redundancy, and incompatibility. If one must prioritize among the vast array of contributing factors to cancer evolution, environmental-stress-mediated chromosome instability (CIN) should easily surpass individual gene mutations. CIN leads to the emergence of genomically unstable life forms, enabling them to grow dominantly within the stable life form of the host. In contrast, stochastic gene mutations play a role in aiding the growth of the cancer population, with their importance depending on the initial emergence of the new system. Furthermore, many specific gene mutations among the many available can perform this function, decreasing the clinical value of any specific gene mutation. Since these unstable life forms can respond to treatment differently than stable ones, cancer often escapes from drug treatment by forming new systems, which leads to problems during the treatment for patients. To understand how diverse factors impact CIN-mediated macroevolution and genome integrity–ensured microevolution, the concept of two-phased cancer evolution is used to reconcile some major characteristics of cancer, such as bioenergetic, unicellular, and multicellular evolution. Specifically, the spiral of life function model is proposed, which integrates major historical evolutionary innovations and conservation with information management. Unlike normal organismal evolution in the microevolutionary phase, where a given species occupies a specific location within the spiral, cancer populations are highly heterogenous at multiple levels, including epigenetic levels. Individual cells occupy different levels and positions within the spiral, leading to supersystems of mixed cellular populations that exhibit both macro and microevolution. This analysis, utilizing karyotype to define the genetic networks of the cellular system and CIN to determine the instability of the system, as well as considering gene mutation and epigenetics as modifiers of the system for information amplification and usage, explores the high evolutionary potential of cancer. It provides a new, unified understanding of cancer as a supersystem, encouraging efforts to leverage the dynamics of CIN to develop improved treatment options. Moreover, it offers a historically contingent model for organismal evolution that reconciles the roles of both evolutionary innovation and conservation through macroevolution and microevolution, respectively. Purpose: Recent archiving and curatorial practices took advantage of the advancement in digital technologies, creating immersive and interactive experiences to emphasize the plurality of memory materials, encourage personalized sense-making and extract, manage and share the ever-growing surrounding knowledge. Audiovisual (AV) content, with its growing importance and popularity, is less explored on that end than texts and images. This paper examines the trend of datafication in AV archives and answers the critical question, "What to extract from AV materials and why?". Design/methodology/approach: This study roots in a comprehensive state-of-the-art review of digital methods and curatorial practices in AV archives. The thinking model for mapping AV archive data to purposes is based on pre-existing models for understanding multimedia content and metadata standards. Findings: The thinking model connects AV content descriptors (data perspective) and purposes (curatorial perspective) and provides a theoretical map of how information extracted from AV archives should be fused and embedded for memory institutions. The model is constructed by looking into the three broad dimensions of audiovisual content – archival, affective and aesthetic, social and historical. Originality/value: This paper contributes uniquely to the intersection of computational archives, audiovisual content and public sense-making experiences. Purpose: Research on online user privacy shows that empirical evidence on how privacy literacy relates to users' information privacy empowerment is missing. To fill this gap, this paper investigated the respective influence of two primary dimensions of online privacy literacy – namely declarative and procedural knowledge – on online users' information privacy empowerment. Design/methodology/approach: An empirical analysis is conducted using a dataset collected in Europe. This survey was conducted in 2019 among 27,524 representative respondents of the European population. Findings: The main results show that users' procedural knowledge is positively linked to users' privacy empowerment. The relationship between users' declarative knowledge and users' privacy empowerment is partially supported. While greater awareness about firms and organizations practices in terms of data collections and further uses conditions was found to be significantly associated with increased users' privacy empowerment, unpredictably, results revealed that the awareness about the GDPR and user's privacy empowerment are negatively associated. The empirical findings reveal also that greater online privacy literacy is associated with heightened users' information privacy empowerment. Originality/value: While few advanced studies made systematic efforts to measure changes occurred on websites since the GDPR enforcement, it remains unclear, however, how individuals perceive, understand and apply the GDPR rights/guarantees and their likelihood to strengthen users' information privacy control. Therefore, this paper contributes empirically to understanding how online users' privacy literacy shaped by both users' declarative and procedural knowledge is likely to affect users' information privacy empowerment. The study empirically investigates the effectiveness of the GDPR in raising users' information privacy empowerment from user-based perspective. Results stress the importance of greater transparency of data tracking and processing decisions made by online businesses and services to strengthen users' control over information privacy. Study findings also put emphasis on the crucial need for more educational efforts to raise users' awareness about the GDPR rights/guarantees related to data protection. Empirical findings also show that users who are more likely to adopt self-protective approaches to reinforce personal data privacy are more likely to perceive greater control over personal data. A broad implication of this finding for practitioners and E-businesses stresses the need for empowering users with adequate privacy protection tools to ensure more confidential transactions. This research aims to identify, categorize, and prioritize the benefits and challenges of implementing common data environments (CDEs) in the construction phase of building information modeling (BIM)-based projects. For this purpose, a systematic literature review, semistructured interviews, and the Delphi method were conducted, and online sources of CDE providers were investigated. 54 benefits and 15 challenges were identified. Cronbach's alpha, standard deviation, interrater agreement level, and significance level statistics were calculated to analyze and validate Delphi method outputs. Results demonstrate that the most important benefit of implementing CDEs in the construction phase of BIM-based projects is access to accurate, reliable, up-to-date information. The most critical challenge is the exclusion of CDE planning in the front-end phase of the project. Prioritizing the benefits shows CDEs' full potential for the construction phase of BIM-based projects. Prioritizing the challenges demonstrates possible future works, requirements, and the areas that should be improved. This research provides a comprehensive point of view on the benefits and challenges of implementing CDEs in the construction phase of BIM-based projects. It analyzes the potential of CDEs by strengthening the findings from the systematic literature review with the SMEs' evaluation, comments, and feedback. This study provides valuable insights into implementing CDEs in the construction phase of BIM-based projects, defining their capabilities, status, and potential, and giving suggestions about how to deal with their challenges. This research shows how CDEs ensure streamlining information and communication flows in BIM-based projects by mitigating nonvalue-added activities resulting from informal, nonstandardized data exchanges, lack of proper data exchange protocols, loss of project data, and lack of efficient collaboration and communication between project team participants. This study reveals the importance of implementing CDEs in the construction phase of BIM-based projects to achieve adequate information and communication management that may prevent project data loss, informal, nonstandardized data exchanges, and inefficient collaboration between multidisciplinary teams. Social media's introduction has completely changed the communication landscape by providing previously unheard-of platforms for unrestricted expression. In the digital age, social media platforms have become crucial venues for public discourse, impacting how individuals and communities exchange information, articulate their opinions, and engage with social issues. Social media opens unprecedented levels of participation and connectedness, providing a platform for opinions that might not otherwise be heard. The relationship between social media technologies and freedom of speech is crucial in determining how modern knowledge organization and information management are structured. Social media platforms facilitate unprecedented levels of information flow and collaboration because they are dynamic forums for public discourse. But they also make it difficult to strike a balance between the right to free speech and the requirement for content monitoring. The impact of speech freedom on technology, information management, and knowledge organization on social media is examined in this abstract. This study uses information science to examine how social media platforms are affecting free speech and related issues like information management and the impact of algorithms on public discourse. It examines how these topics are handled by different social media platforms and how they impact democratic engagement and knowledge organization. To counteract computer-related crimes that have affected many companies, Computer Forensics, which involves obtaining and analyzing digital information for use as evidence in civil, criminal, or administrative cases, has become a focal point of attention for top management. The objective of this study is to assess Tornatzky's TOE innovation adoption model in relation to the Information Assurance of Corporate Computer Forensics Investigation's Action Plan among 210 respondents from Malaysia's Critical Information Infrastructure agencies. The research results demonstrate a strong relationship between the TOE model and the Information Assurance of Corporate Computer Forensics Investigation, specifically in anticipatory, process, and post-incident measures, with the exception of Tornatzky's organizational factor. In today's rapidly changing world, technological innovation has significantly impacted various disciplines including universities libraries. This study investigates the influence of undergraduate students' information-seeking behaviour and the use of electronic information resources (EIRs) on academic performance in Federal Universities in Northeastern of Nigeria research in this aspect has stalled in the region. To address the prevalent and worrying issues among the undergraduate students' low information-seeking and under-utilization of EIRs, an exploratory research approach has been adopted. These issues significantly impact students' information-seeking behaviour on their academic performance by utilizing electronic information resources. Hence, prioritizing undergraduate students in maintaining their individuality by enhancing, maintaining, and nurturing their mindset in utilizing EIRs for academic purposes can be advantageous for academic institutions, faculty, and students. These resources and services are primarily intended to help them complete their academic tasks. This study reports on the perceived effectiveness of electronic document management system functionalities and their relationship with information quality, system quality, perceived usefulness, and satisfaction using the Delone and McLean IS success model. Conducted within Sarawak government agencies, the research adopted a quantitative method with data collected via an online questionnaire. The target respondents were employees who used electronic document management systems. The setting used was considered non-contrived, as a natural environment was preferred to analyse the assessment of the electronic document management system. The unit of analysis is conducted at the individual level, assessing the performance and effectiveness of electronic document management systems. The analysis of the structural model found that four hypotheses (H1, H2, H3, and H4) were supported. The study found that System Quality had a significant positive relationship on both Perceived Usefulness (T-Value: 9.407) and Satisfaction (T-Value: 1.989), highlighting the importance of system quality in influencing user satisfaction. It was revealed that the electronic document management system functionalities and the information system effectiveness had not been previously tested. As a result, this study provides evidence of a new construct for research on the contribution of functionalities within an electronic document management system to the effectiveness or success of the information system. The application of artificial intelligence (AI) in education will grow in the future as technology advances. By looking for a new research setting, the relationship between performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions and behavioural intention towards ChatGPT of selected undergraduate students in Malaysia is the central theme for this study. This study was conducted throughout Malaysia with a total of 218 valid questionnaires were obtained from selected undergraduate student in Malaysia. Findings of the study show that relationship between performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions and behavioural intention towards ChatGPT are significant. This paper discusses on the transmission of the learning session from face to face to online learning. The study reveals the digital literacy level among students besides some of them still not aware of the importance of online learning that could help in their academic performances. There were issues where students face difficulties when searching for information effectively. The study was conducted to identify digital literacy among UiTM students in seeking the information they need for their studies from the electronic databases. The study sets out to examine the digital literacy level among students and to determine the relationship between the effect of digital literacy and student performance. Using survey data from students of UiTM, the study found out that effort expectancy, social influence and technology tool skill have a positive interaction effect on the outcome variable. Digital inclusion is a pressing global challenge and Malaysia is no exception. Access, affordability and digital ability remains a challenge in achieving digital inclusion in Malaysia. Previous studies have only focused either one or two of these three factors at a time, leading to the absence of a comprehensive digital inclusion model. Additionally, there is dearth of study on the topic of digital inclusion among the lower income group. The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors that contribute to digital inclusion within the B40 community and to further investigate the digital gender gap that exists within that community. The study adopts quantitative research paradigm utilising survey questionnaire as data collection method. Questionnaire items were adopted from past research works consisting of three constructs; access, affordability, and digital ability, as measurement tool for digital inclusion model. Survey was distributed and administered physically in the presence of researcher and community leader at Pusat Perumahan Rakyat (PPR) Kerinchi which is located in Kuala Lumpur city centre. Among the three factors, study findings shows that affordability is the main barrier for the B40 community to be digitally included as digital technologies and cost of internet are becoming too costly. Consequently, this has an effect on their accessibility to the internet as a result of the fact that the likelihood of them possessing devices and purchasing internet and mobile data plans is significantly reduced due to their fairly low income. The findings of the survey also showed that there is no difference between men and women regarding their level of perceived digital inclusion within the community. The study findings reveal the importance of a holistic approach to digital inclusion in Malaysia. Cities, in order to develop, should acquire data from various sources, properly process it, and skillfully use it for sustainable development. One such source is data from the surveys of residents' quality of life. When processed as appropriate, the data may be a valuable source of information concerning sustainable development for the city. However, the very fact of carrying out the quality-of-life surveys does not guarantee that the information obtained from them will be used to manage the city. Based on studies entailing a sample of 29 city offices in Poland which declared regular studies of the residents' quality of life, it was proved that the preparation and organization of such studies influences later use of such information for sustainable development purposes. Relying on the method of examining the quality of life and the number of specific indicators, the cities studied were divided into two groups. One was involved, and the other was not in the process of preparing quality-of-life surveys. A comparison was made between these groups of cities in terms of the areas included in the quality of life surveys, the decisions and actions taken based on the analysis of the results of these surveys, and the purposes for which the information is used. The areas in which the local government declares an impact on the quality of life of its residents were also compared. Predicting merger waves has been a classical yet challenging problem. In this paper, we propose approaches to predict industry merger waves relying on an integrated dataset including financial statements and supply data, as well as more than 60 thousand firm-level mergers and acquisitions records. We utilize 1000-dimension features—including common-used industry characteristics and novel supply network information—for predictions and train classifiers based on different machine learning methods. The experiments demonstrate the usefulness of our prediction approach, as the predicting precision reaches 91% on acquirers and 96% on targets. By further analysis, some patterns are well explained by financial theories, such as the well-known Tobin's Q measurement. Especially, new influential factors on merger waves are revealed by the empirical analysis on micro-structure network features. To the best of our knowledge, this paper is one of the first attempts to explore merger waves prediction, and our approaches and findings introduce a new viewpoint for this field. In the rapidly evolving landscape of Industry 4.0, understanding the factors influencing smart factory users' intention to switch systems is paramount. This study aims to uncover the key determinants driving switching intention among smart factory users. Our theoretical framework emphasizes the significance of alternative attractiveness, peer influence, satisfaction, and switching cost in this context. We analyzed data from 163 smart factory users employing partial least squares structural equation modeling. The findings underscore that switching intention is majorly influenced by factors such as alternative attractiveness, peer influence, and switching cost. Further, perceived ease of use directly influences perceived usefulness and satisfaction. Moreover, satisfaction is found to be closely tied to perceived usefulness. Intriguingly, personal innovativeness stands out as a primary factor in shaping user satisfaction. We conclude by outlining the academic and practical implications of our findings, highlighting the need for organizations to strategize based on these insights. Similarly, workers in factories sometimes decide to change the technology they use, moving from older systems to newer, smarter ones. This study looks at why people working in factories decide to make such changes, focusing on smart factories—places where everything is more automated and uses the latest technology. We asked a lot of people who work in these smart factories about their experiences and thoughts. We wanted to know what makes them stick with their current technology or switch to something new. Is it because the new technology is easier to use or more useful? Or do they switch because their colleagues recommend the new technology? Maybe they find another option that seems better or are simply not happy with what they currently have. Our findings showed that a few key reasons influence their decision. Firstly, if the new technology makes their work easier or improves how they do their job, they're more likely to switch. Secondly, if people around them, like their coworkers, think the change is good, they might be persuaded to switch too. Also, if they find another technology that seems better than what they currently use, or if they're just not satisfied with their current setup, they might decide to change. This study helps us understand what motivates people to adopt new technologies in their workplace, especially in advanced factory settings. In large-scale pile foundation drilling projects, the absence of digital work area management hampers dynamic construction management, affecting efficiency. This article explores multi-work area management during pile foundation drilling using a BIM parameterized model, focusing on informatization. The results indicate the following: (i) A dynamic zoning method for pile foundation construction using BIM models was developed to support information management systems and address resource allocation challenges amid dynamic construction team changes. (ii) Adaptive zoning methods were proposed, incorporating the dynamic adjustment of construction work areas, including the division of virtual work areas and adaptive adjustment of pile foundation partition parameters. (iii) Work area modeling and zoning were applied on site, with pile foundation modeling aligning with engineering design distribution, and work area zoning accurately reflecting the on-site construction status. (iv) This method enables adaptive synchronization between pile foundation model attributes and work area information, integrating zoning management into the information system to enhance the construction unit's information management system and digital management level. The changes in global markets have represented an important challenge for firms, therefore the integration of strategic processes, the efficiency of operations, the management of information and the knowledge generated, have been the basis for incorporating advanced management tools in the era of digitalization. In this sense, business intelligence (BI) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems are two topics that have become widespread and researched in recent years. The present study aims at the conceptual analysis of ERP-BI topics with information collected from the web of science database from 2003 to 2022, identifying the most representative approaches and quantifying the main bibliometric indicators with the support of an open access technological tool SciMAT. The results show a growing trend of publications related to the incorporation of business systems and their conceptual relationships to sustainable development, knowledge management (KM), big data, among others. This study highlights the growth of research on BI and ERP systems, integrating organizational processes and generating knowledge based on valuable information for decision making with a positive impact on productivity and innovative strategy. In the 20th century, telecommunications networks were added to them, which allow overcoming several barriers of time and space, as well as access to new frontiers of human interaction. Focusing on prevention and preventive mechanisms in the sphere of national security and defense of the country, respectively better anticipation, knowledge, but also the achievement of an integrated, balanced, flexible and agile reaction capacity. In the current context, in addition to knowing the risks and threats, under all aspects - sources, forms of manifestation, means, techniques - the development of the ability to anticipate, based on knowledge and education, is fundamental. For this purpose, the development of appropriate systems for the timely discovery of dangers, risks and threats, in the perspective of preventing their occurrence, through the combined use of both military means and civilian instruments, is mandatory, as well as the allocation of resources through a integrated, continuous, multi-annual and rigorous planning process, capable of meeting both the new inter-institutional planning requirements, at the national level, and the rigors of the multi-annual budgetary planning principles specific to the North Atlantic Alliance and the European Union. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of social media analytics on firm performance using a sample of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Thailand. This study also investigated whether entrepreneurial orientation (EO) moderated the effects of social media analytics on firm performance. Design/methodology/approach: This study used SMEs listed in the Department of Business Development of Thailand as the sampling frame. Probability sampling was used to draw the sample. A questionnaire survey was used to collect data from 334 firms. The data were analyzed using partial least squares structural equation modeling. Findings: The results supported the positive association between social media analytics practices on firm performance. Moreover, this study found that EO moderated this association significantly. In particular, the positive association between social media analytics practices on firm performance was higher for firms that exhibit a high EO than those that exhibit a low EO. This result indicated that firms that implement social media analytics practices achieved higher performance when they exhibited a high EO. Practical implications: Social media data analytics should be implemented to strengthen the technological competence of firms. Moreover, firms should integrate EO practices into their implementation of social media analytics to increase their ability to generate substantial improvements in their strategic implementation, thereby enabling them to gain sustainable competitiveness in their market. Social implications: Because SMEs are the driving force for economic growth and development in Thailand, their ability to achieve higher performance when they effectively integrate EO practices into their implementation of social media data analytics could be beneficial for the sustainable development of Thailand, especially in the current data-driven era. Originality/value: The result that EO moderates the effect in enhancing social media analytics practices' influence on firm performance provides new knowledge that extends the boundary of research on this topic. This paper investigated the moderating effect of Islamic financial education on the relationship between information management and customer perception regarding the increase in investments at Bank Syariah Indonesia, using conventional sampling techniques for data collection from respondents in Yogyakarta. A closed questionnaire comprising 35 items was prepared and tested before the commencement of the study. Path analysis in PLS was utilized as the primary tool to analyze the 141 respondents who completed the survey. The research revealed that the moderating factors have both direct and indirect moderation effects on customer financial investments in Bank Syariah Indonesia, indicating that information management and customer perception are crucial factors in enhancing customer investments. Accordingly, the study was limited to the collection of quantitative data using a semi-structured questionnaire from Yogyakarta, and there is an opportunity to test these findings in other major cities, including those in other developing countries. From a practical perspective, this study elucidates that Islamic financial education plays a significant role in increasing the value of customer investments in Bank Syariah Indonesia, thereby potentially expanding the market share of Islamic banks in Indonesia. With the rapid development of information technology, digital platforms (DPs) have emerged as an indispensable aspect of the entrepreneurial landscape, which has a profound impact on entrepreneurial innovation and practice. However, there remains a gap in understanding the specific ways in which DPs influence the entrepreneurial process. Therefore, within the framework of information management theory, this study aims to deepen the understanding of how DPs foster entrepreneurial innovation and enhance entrepreneurial effectiveness, thereby enhancing the overall efficiency of DPs. Firstly, the concept of information management in contemporary social enterprise management is thoroughly examined and reviewed to establish a robust theoretical foundation for further research. Secondly, the conceptual framework and core elements of DPs are extensively discussed, elucidating their role and function in the entrepreneurial process. On this basis, a theoretical model illustrating the impact of DPs on entrepreneurial innovation and activities is formulated, along with six specific research hypotheses. These hypotheses encompass the effects of DPs on entrepreneur behavior, enterprise development, and the platform–entrepreneur relationship. To verify the validity of these hypotheses, a questionnaire survey involving 398 entrepreneurs is conducted to facilitate in-depth communication. Simultaneously, the various attributes of entrepreneurs are categorized, and the resulting classifications are thoroughly analyzed and evaluated. The results show that the DP plays a positive role in promoting the development of platform enterprises, improving intrapreneurship activities, and enhancing the ability of intrapreneurship. In addition, DPs can effectively regulate the relationship between platform enterprises and entrepreneurs and promote the self-development of entrepreneurs. Furthermore, the entrepreneurial growth process has positively influenced platform enterprises. This finding strongly supports the practical application of DPs and provides valuable guidance for entrepreneurs to leverage them effectively in fostering innovation and entrepreneurial activities in the digital era. Meanwhile, this offers crucial insights for platform enterprises on enhancing their service offerings to entrepreneurs and fostering the sustainable development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Purpose: The study examined the personal information management (PIM) challenges encountered by faculty in six universities in Ghana, their information refinding experiences and the perceived role of memory. The study tested the hypothesis that faculty PIM performance will significantly differ when the differences in the influence of personal factors (age, gender and rank) on their memory are considered. Design/methodology/approach: The study was guided by a sample survey design. A questionnaire designed based on themes extracted from earlier interviews was used to collect quantitative data from 235 faculty members from six universities in Ghana. Data analysis was undertaken with a discrete multivariate Generalized Linear Model to investigate how memory intermediates in the relationship between age, gender and rank, and, refinding of stored information. Findings: The paper identified two subfunctions of refinding (Refinding 1 and Refinding 2) associated with self-confidence in information re-finding, and, memory (Memory 1 and Memory 2), associated with the use of complimentary frames to locate previously found and stored information. There were no significant multivariate effects for gender as a stand-alone variable. Males who were aged less than 39 could refind stored information irrespective of the memory class. Older faculty aged 40–49 who possess Memory 1 and senior lecturers who possess Memory 2 performed well in refinding information. There was a statistically significant effect of age and memory; and rank and memory. Research limitations/implications: This study was limited to faculty in Ghana, whereas the study itself has implications for demographic differences in PIM. Practical implications: Identifying how memory mediates the role of personal factors in faculty refinding of stored information will be necessary for the efforts to understand and design systems and technologies for enhancing faculty capacity to find/refind stored information. Social implications: Understanding how human memory can be augmented by technology is a great PIM strategy, but understanding how human memory and personal factors interplay to affect PIM is more important. Originality/value: PIM of faculty has been extensively examined in the literature, and limitations of memory has always been identified as a constraint. Human memory has been augmented with technology, although the outcome has been very minimal. This study shows that in addition to technology augmentation, personal factors interplay with human memory to affect PIM. Discrete multivariate Generalized Linear Model applied in this study is an innovative way of addressing the challenges of assimilating statistical methodologies in psychosocial disciplines. Individuals within organisations necessarily hold data including personal identifiable data, for individuals with a tendency to accumulate digital data and a reluctance to delete it, there is greater potential for data to be stored. Therefore, understanding why people engage in digital hoarding and how they respond to the mitigations put in place is important. Eleven people working in a large commercial organisation scoring highly on a digital hoarding questionnaire, took part in focus groups to understand the extent to which they kept digital data. The focus groups also explored employee compliance with policies and procedures including knowledge of GDPR. Thematic analysis led to three themes: (1) Organisational culture versus digital hoarding tendency, (2) Thinking about personal data, and (3) Responsibility and control. The findings highlight different motivations for data hoarding including anxiety driven by 'blame culture' as participants respond to workplace challenges and the need to be accountable. Participants were aware of policies including GDPR but often used workarounds to keep data longer than specified in their information retention policies. Technical approaches to data reduction were often counterproductive. Findings are discussed in relation to potential threats of digital data hoarding and technical and non-technical approaches to reducing digital data retention. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Czechoslovakia as a victorious, yet still fragile post-imperial state, considered censorship and state propaganda to be a necessary tool to secure its legitimacy at home and abroad. From the very beginning, Czechoslovakia defined itself as a democracy with freedom of speech as its basic principle, yet at the same time, it had to deal with inner fragility and outer vulnerabilities. The strategic agenda of people's nutrition, which was closely associated with the perceived competence of state institutions, serves as a litmus test for the state's regulation of press and public speech and the implementation of republican practices and acceptable limits on public discourse. This study analyzes how the new republican state regulated information on food supply shortcomings in the press and at public gatherings. It argues that Czechoslovakia maintained the prewar Habsburg practices of censorship; however, instead of the vaguely defined public interest of the multinational monarchy, it was now used to protect the public interest of "the national state of the Czechoslovaks." This study analyzes how the government thought about the consistency of its communication during the postwar (supply) crisis, and thus also options of how to shape a clear and positive brand of the state. Purpose: The aim of the article is to examine the reasons why organizations do not use the information obtained in the audit process. Design/methodology/approach: For the realization of the work we used the results of our own research of organizations that have certified quality management systems for compliance with the requirements of ISO 9001. The information obtained relates to organizations operating in the territory of Poland. Findings: Organizations conducting quality management system audits acquire a variety of information that should be used for management purposes. Some organizations have serious problems with acquiring data and processing it, and using the information for decision-making and improvement-oriented activities. The paper identifies 10 potential reasons why organizations do not use information from the audit process. A comparison was made between the causes found in internal and external audits. An analysis of each of the identified causes was carried out, paying attention to their origins. Attention was paid to the connections between the causes. Directions for eliminating problems were indicated. Practical implications: The results obtained have practical application. Organizations with an awareness of the causes of problems are able to take, both corrective action and preventive action. In the first case, it is about taking corrective actions to existing problems. In the second case, it is about preventive actions, which should prevent a problem from arising. Social implications: The results obtained have social implications. They draw attention to the need to build a pro-quality and improvement-oriented awareness. Originality/value: The article for the first time identifies the causes of problems arising in organizations in the context of the use of audit information. Attention is paid to the mechanism of disorders and ways to eliminate them are indicated. The article is especially recommended to the top management of organizations that conduct system audits. This article proposes a combination model, which is composed of latent Dirichlet allocation model, TF-IDF feature extraction algorithm and Euclidean distance measurement method, to identify and judge whether the similarities between multiple policy texts exist or not. With the help of actual data result, this will drive the relevant government agencies to figure out problems in a timely manner and provide a decision-making basis for them to formulate and optimise appropriate economic policies. To this end, this article analyses and studies the four types of economic texts that are classified as Insurance, Banking, Tax and Finance from the Central Government of Hebei province and Shijiazhuang city levels. Also, we consider Beijing, Shanghai and Guangdong. Experimental results show that (1) the combination model can quickly and effectively recognise and determine whether there are similarities between multiple economic policy texts; (2) similarities exist or not between the central, provincial and municipal level policy texts depending on the comparison of the distance values across them; (3) the smaller the distance value between economic policy texts of the same kind, the higher the similarity in them; and (4) the distance values between the six policy texts in Finance, Insurance, Bank and Tax categories are ranked from low to high. Aim: The use of information-based solutions such as dashboards is on the rise for taking fact-based actions against the COVID-19 crisis. This scoping review aimed to comprehensively investigate COVID-19 dashboards from different technical perspectives. Subject and methods: Three main bibliographic databases, PubMed, Web of Science, and Scopus, were searched on 28 August 2021 to retrieve relevant studies. Arksey and O'Malley's (Int J Soc Res Methodol 8(1):19–32, 2005) methodological framework and the enhanced version of this methodology developed by Levac et al. (Implement Sci 5(1):1–9, 2010) were adopted for conducting this review. Results: In total, 26 articles were included. The COVID-19 dashboards mainly focused on the infected (n = 25), deceased (n = 17), and recovered cases (n = 13), as well as the performed test (n = 10). Most of the dashboards were interactive, with public accessibility targeting various user groups. While some dashboards were both informative and supportive (38%), most were mainly informative (92%). The dashboard data were generally analyzed using simple techniques (58%) and delivered through web-based applications (88%). Conclusion: Dashboards can help immediately manage, analyze, and summarize a huge amount of information about a COVID-19 outbreak. The findings revealed that the developed COVID-19 dashboards share more or less analogous characteristics that could lay the groundwork for designing and developing dashboards for any other pandemic. This study aims to develop a model to assess the impact of IoT technologies on cold-chain logistics service quality management and information of fresh product e-commerce in logistics 4.0. With eight primary characteristics and 40 dimension-related variables, we created a theoretical framework of IoT-based Cold-chain Logistics Service Quality (ICCLSQ) management through a structural equation model. A follow-up online poll of 522 previous fresh product purchasers who experienced features of logistics 4.0 was undertaken to assess customer expectations regarding the quality of information management and logistics service qualities in fresh product e-commerce. Statistical analysis was undertaken to investigate the attribute correlations and linear regressions were performed for analysis. Customers' pleasure, return motivation, security and privacy are the four-logistics service quality scale dimensions in fresh products information management. The new theoretical model enables a better understanding of the LSQ factors that affect customer satisfaction on the information management of fresh product e-commerce enterprises, as well as enhancing the deployment of their services in light of Logistics 4.0. This study explores the factors that influence the dissemination process of and public susceptibility to fake news amidst COVID-19. By adopting a qualitative approach that draws on 21 interviews with social media users from the standpoint of source credibility and construal level theories, our findings highlight motives of news sharers, platform features, and source credibility/relatedness as major factors influencing the dissemination of and public susceptibility to fake news. The paper further argues that public susceptibility to fake news can be mitigated by building an integrated approach that combines a tripartite strategy from an individual, institutional and platform level. For example, educating the public on digital resilience and enhancing awareness around source credibility can help individuals and institutions reflect on news authenticity and report fake news where possible. This study contributes to fake news literature by integrating concepts from information management, consumer behaviour, influencer marketing and mindfulness to propose a model to help authorities identify and understand the key factors that influence susceptibility to fake news during a public crisis such as COVID-19.
